We run a tour company on the beautiful Island of Korcula in Croatia specialising in food and drink tours.
For us, travel should always be relaxed and allow the traveller to appreciate and learn about different cultures. We ensure any guests who join us on a tour will experience this.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialise in immersive food and drink tasting tours including walking, cycling & driven options. We also work with local people who offer other activities such as boat trips, day trips to nearby islands, detox days, yoga lessons and culinary classes; and we also arrange transport to/from Korcula Island by land or sea. We are always looking for new and interesting things to do so that we have a wide range of fun excursions to offer visitors. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"We are passionate travellers and during our back-packing tour around Europe several years ago, we fell in love with Croatia and especially Korcula. So upon re-locating here from the UK, we knew we wanted to promote the island and encourage people to not only visit, but to enjoy intimate experiences away from the typical tourist sights. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"We visited the stunning National Park Island of Mljet in May 2005 when it was low season and at a time when Croatia was still being "re-discovered" by travellers. We walked out to the edge of the lakes with oars in hand where a couple of kayaks were lying out for us. We paddled out across the lake, around the monastery with the sun shining on us and were amazed by just how clear the water was. There were a few tourists about but we were the only people kayaking and it felt like the lake was ours. It was just one of those dream days. "

An enjoyable experience despite the heat. We cycled through some lovely countryside and John made sure that the pace suited everyone. He also coped magnificently with two punctures en route. The wine tastings lived up to expectations.

My wife and I joined two tours in Korcula, Croatia with Rachael and John. One a guided walk through an old town called Znovo followed by an amazing dinner with Frank and his family. The second was a cycling and wine tasting tour which involved cycling from Korcula through the
Lumbarda countryside and stopping at two venues for wine tasting and snacks.
Both were well organised and most enjoyable. Sue and I can highly recommend both tours.
