I was born and raised in Windhoek, Namibia. Studied travel and tourism for 3 years, graduated top of my class in my faculty. I have worked with Wild Dog Safaris for nearly 4 years. I started as receptionist working my way up to tour consultant.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Mainly Namibia, but I will be able to assist you with Botswana and Zimbabwe as well. Namibia, a country in southwest Africa, is distinguished by the Namib Desert along its Atlantic Ocean coast. The country is home to diverse wildlife, including a significant cheetah population. The capital, Windhoek, and coastal town Swakopmund contain German colonial-era buildings such as Windhoek's Christuskirche, built in 1907. In the north, Etosha National Park’s salt pan draws game including rhinos and giraffes. In the south the Fish River Canyon, known as the second largest canyon in the world."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I have always been fascinated by the travel and tourism industry. Growing up we were tough about the different resources/attractions Namibia had to offer starting from the Sand Dunes in Sossusvlei, the mountainous Damaraland, the famous Etosha National Park, the Fish River canyon and then the unprecedented Welwitchia Mirabills plant. I have since wanted to be part of the helping people witness these beautiful resources Namibia has to offer. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Two years ago I did a 9 day Delta and Victoria Falls tour covering Guma Lagoon, Chobe National Park and the mighty Victoria Falls. The highlight of the tour was me doing a bungee jump over the 111km, Victoria Falls bridge. Definitely a must do for adrenalin junkies. "
