Lena Sluga

When I was 18, I decided to leave Germany for Australia. After a few years of globetrotting, I moved to Jordan. After living in Aqaba for a while, I relocated to Amman. I love living in this city, as there is way more to discover than what's written in travel guides. In my free time, I like to travel through Jordan myself, trying to find places off the beaten track, enjoying the culture, and practicing the language.

How did you get involved in travel?

"I love traveling and I have traveled all my life. Eventually, I ended up studying Tourism Management, with the aim of turning my passion into a career. I came to Jordan on what was supposed to be a 6 months internship, fell in love with this amazing country, and decided to stay. For almost 4 years, I have worked for a local travel agency in Jordan, before starting a new adventure working for kimkim. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I'll never forget driving down the beautiful Dead Sea Highway in Jordan for the first time by myself, passing the Dead Sea, little villages, plantations and beautiful desert landscapes."
