“Hi! We'd love to spend the week doing some island hopping. We love seeing some culture, eating great seafood and having a bit of beach time on secluded beaches. We'd rather avoid the touristy areas and discover some beautiful places”

Hi, Welcome to kimkim!
We fly in and out of Dubrovnik but not sure whether we need to rent a car to travel around
Happy to help
Renting a car is probably the way to go
Do you want help finding and booking hotels or vacation rentals?
Yes please. I took a look at Airbnb but the hotels don't seem to be much more expensive
It would be great if we could do a couple of nights in Dubrovnik, then go to some of the islands
Cool. Sounds like a plan
Can you give me a sense of your budget please?
That way we know what kind of hotels etc are a good fit. Thanks!
€60 to €100 per night
Of possible we would prefer little Boutique hotels and b&b's
Okay let me take a look. Do you have any specific islands in mind already?
Am open to suggestions but heard that korkula, sipan, mijet, brac and hvar are nice
Is it expensive to island hop with a car on the ferries - and can you take the car on all the ferries?
I can see if one of our Croatia experts is available to answer your questions. To give me a good idea of what's possible for you, can you tell me your budget for the 2 of you for the entire trip? (Excl flights)
Okay thanks. Let me check and get back to you!
Perfect! Thank you!
It's taking us a bit longer to find you an expert. We've been sending lots of travelers to Croatia the last few weeks, so we're working through a bit of a backlog here. Stay tuned.
No worries, thanks a lot!
Hi, Quick update... we're getting close to starting on your project. Stay tuned Thanks for your patience.
It is nice to meet you over chat. My name is Michelle and I can help plan your itinerary, as well as help book any accommodations and suggest activities. A few questions first to help me figure out how I can help you the best.
-Where are you flying in and out of?
-Dubrovnik and Split are great spots for culture and you can island hop between the two cities. Stopping in Korcula, Mijet, Brac, & Hvar for beach time. It is easy to island hop without a car, if you are fine with exploring these towns on foot/public transportation. *To explore Mijet you can rent scooters or a small car once there.
-If this sounds good to you, I will begin looking up accommodation options for you.
Thank you and I look forward to helping you plan your trip!
Hi Michelle, thanks a lot for your message.
We're flying in and out of Dubrovnik. Arriving on Sunday 5th in the morning and leaving Sunday 12th in the morning. (June)
Being based in Dubrovnik and Split sounds great. We'd rather stay in B&B's and avoid resorts and large hotels.
Island hopping sounds great and preferably without a car.
Thanks so much for your help!

Thank you so much for this! We love all the options. We'd like to go for all the cheaper options ......so please go ahead and book those! What do you need from us to make the bookings?
Great news! We can go ahead and make the hotel bookings for you, and for the Airbnb options they will have to be booked by you personally. Eventually we will be able to book with them directly but for now if you can book the Airbnbs yourself that would be the most efficient way. I will begin reaching out to the other accommodations and will let you know the final price. If you have any questions please let me know.
Perfect, thank you! I have booked (requested) the airbnb's!
It would be amazing if you had some restaurant tips for us on the islands and in Dubrovnik. We love fish and would love to find some special restaurants and avoid tourist traps! :-)
I'm loving kimkim! You and the team offer a fantastic service!!
Great! Glad to hear you're liking kimkim - please spread the word! I can definitely give you restaurant tips and activities to do there.
