Day 1: Arrive in San Jose - Transfer to Monterey - Cycle to Big Sur

Meet your guides in San Jose and transfer to your starting location in Monterey. From there, cycle west along the coast following 17-Mile Drive through the beautiful Pebble Beach and then further south toward Carmel-by-the-Sea, before connecting with Highway 1 and carrying on down the Pacific coast. You'll pass over the iconic Bixby Creek Bridge before entering Big Sur State Park and to today's final destination, Glen Oaks

Enjoy a team dinner at a local restaurant offering a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.

Day 2: Big Sur to Ragged Point

Though today's route is demanding as you work your way into the heart of Big Sur, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views at every twist in the tarmac.

Lunch on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean before challenging yourself with the optional ride to the summit of Nacimiento Ferguson Road. Reach your accommodation for the evening at Ragged Point and et the sounds of the crashing waves far below your hotel room lull you to sleep.

Day 3: Ragged Point to Cambria - Explore Hearst Castle

Today's route allows you to rest your legs: the course is shorter and mostly flat. As you work your way to Cambria, stop along the way at California's Historical Landmark, Hearst Castle, and learn about the newspaper magnate as you explore his opulent home.

Upon arrival in Cambria, spend some time settling in relaxing, before stretching your legs for a walk into town.

Day 4: Free Day

Today is yours to spend as you like. You may wish to rest and explore the area around Cambria, shopping, relaxing on Moonstone Beach or in a local spa. Or, if you're game for more riding, you may wish to either take the day to cycle along the coast to Morro Bay and back or get your heart pumping with a climb up to Old Creek Road before making a technical descent back to the hotel.

Day 5: Inland to Paso Robles

Today you will work your way inland through wine country to Paso Robles. Enjoy cycling through scenic landscapes before attempting one of the steepest grades in the whole of California. Rest weary muscles and reward yourself with a wine tasting and continue on your way descending past endless rows of vines as you make your way to the town square. 

Spend time exploring Paso Robles' downtown core before meeting your group for your final dinner.

Day 6: Peachy Canyon Loop - Transfer to San Jose‍‍‍ - Depart

Cap off your cycling tour with one of the prettiest cycling routes: Peach Canyon. You will enjoy following its winding roads through vineyards and walnut groves, before cycling back to Paso Robles.

You will have time to pack and clean up before meeting your transfer back to San Jose in time for your return flight home.
