Such a great trip! Cathy did an amazing job. We had no worries about traveling throughout the country. Our accommodations were fabulous, especially the Clontarf Castle hotel. All of our tours were so much fun, and we learned so much about the beautiful country and its amazing history. We especially enjoyed our private tour of Cork with Maurice.

Liz Karen was fantastic and thorough in planning out my itinerary, and all the guides and drivers were wonderful! They were reliable and helped me with every stage of my trip. Peru is truly beautiful and I loved my time in Cusco and Machu Picchu! I enjoyed seeing Pisac and Ollantaytambo -- the views and the history! I felt the altitude and breathlessness, so I highly recommend hiking preparation for all the steps, drinking lots of filtered water and coca tea, and taking altitude meds. I didn't have much time to acclimate so those helped. Javier was my guide for my circuit at Machu Picchu and provided a lot of interesting info about Incan culture. If you plan to hike Huayna Picchu, I suggest taking the 8 am slot because I took the 10 am slot and it was hotter and I got dehydrated from the intense climb. The guards also close the HP trail at 1 pm so you'll have more time to summit and not feel rushed if you take the first entrance. Pablo was our terrific guide at Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain and helped us with nose spray and trekking poles to adjust to the altitude. It was worth the views! I would've needed more time to acclimate so I'm glad I chose Palccoyo and not Vinicunca (but I'd love to visit there as well). Lastly, driver Dionicio was fantastic and took me around Cusco to the Inca Museum, Cristo Blanco, and an alpaca textile shop, as well as a restaurant where they served cuy and had a great view of the city. The hotel staff at Tika Wasi were very helpful and friendly and assisted me with ordering food delivery when I was tired after my day tours. Watch out for unauthorized taxi drivers at Lima Airport and only use the free shuttle to the hotel! From start to finish, Peru was magnificent and I'd love to return! Thank you to kimkim and Andean Travel for a great experience!

We have just returned from a wonderful 12 night trip to Portugal where we able to visit Porto, the Douro Valley, Evora, the Algarve (Lagos), and ending in Lisbon. Adam and his team provided excellent guidance in developing and pacing the itinerary allowing us to see and experience so much at a relaxed pace. All our transfer drivers were professional and courteous moving us around the country safely. The food tours, walking tours, wine tour, boat tours and a cooking class arranged by Adam were all excellent and provided many great memories. Kim Kim is highly recommended for your next trip.

It was an outstanding trip. You did a wonderful job with a different countries. Only point I would make is that there might have been more information about entering Zimbabwe and what visas to get. They recommended just a single entry. Visa and I needed more than that. The other area confusion was at Kruger Park that I might need to get up at 4:30 in the morning to go to an airport that I thought was 10 minutes away took some time to clear that up for me.

KimKim was recommended to use by an acquaintance who used their services in the past. I submitted my ideas. Rashi, my specialist did a nice job of putting my ideas into a workable, reasonable itinerary. Rashi - thank you for suggesting we stay at the Faulhorn Hut rather than the Webber Hut. It was in the most remarkable location. Loved it! Also the suggested Jungfrau Pass worked great for our needs. I would not have know which pass would have been most beneficial for our trip. The hotels you chose were each a short distance from the train station. The luggage transports worked out great. The GPS hotel locator was helpful and the hikes monitored on my phone again through GPS was comforting and useful. Probably the least helpful were the maps in the book. A relative gave us a hiking book and the simple but easy to understand maps were actually more helpful. The weather cooperated and our hiking was magical. We loved our trip and would use KimKim again.

We had a wonderful trip to Scotland. The bulk of our visit was on the isle of Iona; we were part of a pilgrimage group. Kimkim helped us with our travel before and after our time on Iona. Most of the accommodations and transfers went smoothly. There were some glitches however that perhaps could have been avoided with better planning. Our specialilst Liam was on vacation for much of our visit which we didn't learn until his substitute contacted us. When we arrived in Oban on a rainy night, we had to find a cab to get to the hotel. Once there we learned it hadn't been paid for and that our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. The staircase was narrow and windy. The proprietor graciously got our bags to the room. Our specialist Jane did get us a refund quickly. Our excursion the next day was perfect though and the guide communicated with us promptly and arranged a great hike. Our stay in Tobermory was also lovely. The accommodations were beautiful. After our pilgrimage, we headed to Balmaha. Our road trip guide said we could take a ferry over to Luss but ferry service ended at 3:00 which is when we got there! Our road trip guide also mentioned a private guided tour through the Trossachs National Park which actually was just our cab ride going through it. It was beautiful though! The end result is what is important and we had a wonderful trip. I wouldn't use this agency again and can't really recommend it. We ended up having to do on our own things that we expected the agency to handle. I think a bit more research and effort in the planning would have made a big difference. When Liam returned from vacation, his contact with us was minimal.

KimKim did a great job is setting up with Janneke at Wildr Africa. And I can't say enough about how wonderful it was with working with Janneke. She worked with us on our itinerary, was able to present different options for our consideration, and selected great camps, hotels, transportation, and guides, all within our budget. We really enjoyed the Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge and highly recommend it; we then had a scenic sightseeing trip to Hazyview via the Panorama Route Scenic Tour, and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Bambuu Lakeside Lodge; we then went to Umkumbe Bush Lodge in Sabi Sands and thought it was great. Janneke did a great job in providing two contrasting camps that were each exceptional in their own way. We then went to Victoria Falls with an evening cruise, walked the falls the next day, then went to Dusty Road Township restaurant which was amazing. A perfect itinerary for the Falls. Janneke arrange all the transportation for the trip that went off without a hitch, as well as put us in touch with local travel agents to arrange our flights in-country. She also set us up with a whatapp account so we could be in real time contact with her as we went through the trip, and she checked in regularly. This level of attentativeness made us fell very comfortable. I would book through her again in a moment.

At this lodge we stayed in a luxury tent and really enjoyed it, even when monkeys tried to come into the room. This lodge was a bit bigger than River Rock and the food was buffet style, which worked perfectly as you could choose what and how much you wanted. It also had a deck that overlooked a watering hole so you could watch elephants, zebras, giraffes, baboons, etc.

The location is fantastic, and we saw all the Big Five as well as many other animals. The accommodations are great, the food delicious, and the guide for the game drives and bush walks was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and knew all the places to find the animals. This lodge is a true gem.

A Day in Sabi Sands with Two Private Game Drives

This goes for all our game drives; it is a great experience riding in the landcruisers and becoming one with the bush. You slowly learn how to look for game in the grasses and bushes, and the guide teaches you how to read tracks in the road and on trails. You never know what you will see next or when you will see it, and it is always such a rush when you happen on the rhinos or lions or hippos. Being up early in the morning before the sun comes up, and out in the evening as the sun goes down and the stars fill this sky is just mesmorizing. The game walks take place around noon before lunch, and while you may see some animals you tend to focus on the trees, flowers, bushes, insects. You learn how such items are used on a daily basis for medicine or for food; you never forget when the guide lit some elephant dung on fire and everyone had a whiff of the smoke - very clean and good for your chest if you have a cold!

We loved flying into Porto and had a fantastic “Taste of Porto” food tour. Our guide was Kevin, who was very knowledgeable and fun loving. I heard that he also a guitar player in a band with similar musical taste. How fun is that? We ended our trip in Lisbon and got to personally meet Joao. Our trip was amazing. NZ/Australia are both so beautiful with wonderful people. We had many drivers and guides that were great. I hope I can remember the all. Antony, Zeph, and Ze. Bar help at MSocial, Brayden and Max. Kai on Waiheke. Loved the island and the wine and olive oil tastings. So any beautiful vineyards and the tile work at Casita Miro is stunning.Our driver in Queenstown, Chris, was wonderful. Very friendly and engaging. We loved the Rees. So comfortable with beautiful views. The gondola ride is something I feared but did it anyway and so glad I did. Stunning views and the buffet at Stratosfare was over the top. We had hoped to do the stargazing but evidently it was a separate ticket. It was cloudy and drizzly so we didn't miss much. The full day funyak /jetboat was a blast. Phil, Jimmy, Alex, Dave and Ross were so fun and very competent. We really enjoyed the day with them. There are not enough words to describe Doubtful sound. Breathtaking for sure. We were fortunate enough to have been blessed with clear, cold weather. Captain Dave was available and inviting. After conquering all the stairs at Onsen, the soak was very relaxing. We got a little mixed up at the airport going from Queenstown to Sydney but eventually got to the correct terminal and got to Sydney on time. Cindy mey us there. She had little welcome bags for us with a cool cloth and some mints. Very sweet. She was full of information and very welcoming. We had to shuffle our itinerary due to bad weather and all involved were more than helpful and accommodating. We were so glad we had followed your advice and added the extra day in Port Douglas. If we hadn't the Great Barrier Reef day would have been missed.. Mia was our guide for the Daintree, day and night. More beauty. She clearly loved sharing her passion for this area with us. Our start in Sydney was a bit confusing trying to get on the correct boat for our dinner cruise. Several people in the area tried to help us find the tall ship. Once we did we were a bit disappointed. The tall ship was smaller than expected, and dinner was only so-so. It seems like the company switched out the boats. One of our party couldn't eat any of the food due to tomato allergy and everything had tomatoes (other than potato salad). That said, the views and sunset were magnificent. If I remember correctly the name of the boat was the Coral Trekker. Our Sydney tour was good. John was great. We loved the Opera House tour and My Fair Lady was spectacular. We had John again for our full day in the Blue Mountains. We loved it. Lots of information, lots of stunning overlook stops. We stopped for lunch at Boiler House. The food was great but staff not very friendly. Kangaroo Island was as beautiful as I remember it. The Sea Dragon was very nice and the staff was great, Makenzie, Lucky, Tomas and others. We were under the impression that we would pick our own activities but upon arrival were were given an itinerary which didn't include any of the things we had picked to do. We worked it out with Makenzie and had a great time. Tasmania was our last stop. Not sure of the drivers name who picked us up at the airport as he never introduced himself. He loaded our bags into the van and drove us to the hotel without saying much of anything. Much unlike all the other drivers we had. We loved the day on Bruny Island with Ben and our time at MONA. We had the same driver back to the airport at the end of our stay. Spoke a bit more but was a bit hassled because of an earlier airport pick up that ran into problems. All in all our trip was amazing. There were a few issues with the app and what was in the app not matching what was in the printed material. All the stays were great except the apartment in Port Douglas. Seemed older and not very clean.

We used this service,Kim Kim, as we were planning because due to other life circumstances, we did not have time to sit and plan and look up things to do where we wanted to travel. We were skeptical at first, but after working with our specialist, we were way more at ease.

This turned out to be a great trip with great locations and itinerary picked for us by our specialist, Mr. Oli. We saw some beautiful locations and sights as we traveled through Iceland. The amount of driving was about right each day and allowed for flexibility to see the sights as we traveled. The motels and guesthouses we stayed at were great, with one exception of not having a private bath for that stay.

Iceland is a great country to travel to and through. The thermal baths were outstanding. We found that we should have traveled about a month earlier as the weather was cooling off for the year, but that really did not put a damper on much.

Probably one of the best things we saw was the Lava Show. This was a great demonstration of the the volcanic activity that present throughout the country. Highly recommend.

Overall, we were satisfied with this service provided by Kim Kim. At this point this was a one off experience. But if we are to have the opportunity to travel like this again, we will definitely look to this site to provide a good experience.

We are not good planners, often having an idea for a trip 3 weeks before actually leaving home. So, when we decided to go to Norway about three weeks before we'd leave, we knew we'd need help putting together an itinerary. Years ago, KimKim helped us put together a fantastic trip to Iceland so we sent off a message and heard right back from Christina. What a great week in Norway. Oslo? The fjords! Bergen! Hiking with Jurgen, kayaking with Sergei, cider tasting at the Ciderhus in Balestrand, RIP boat touring, fantastic meals, and restful nights in cozy hotels were all part of her deliverable. And, she managed to put everything together on short notice. We really should up our planning game but it's nice to know that Kim Kim is there when we need help.

Our trip planner, Caroline, was fantastic to work with! She was patient, responsive and recommended fabulous experiences. She found amazing local guides and tours. The Last Supper was incredible to see during our fabulous Milan City Tour with guide Lara. Our favorite day at Lake Como was a guided hike with lovely and knowledgeable Maria ended with a picnic high in the mountains overlooking the Lake. Taking the Bernina express through the Alps gave us hours of magical beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Neuschwanstein castle that was lead by a local boy, Alessandro, who was amazing and enjoyable to be with. And finally we ended the trip in Munich to enjoy OctoberFest and a few major WWII sites. Incredible and memorable trip! Thanks to Caroline and the KimKim team!

As we arrived at the top of Mt Rigi, the fog arrived and shrouded the entire mountain. In spite of that we enjoyed taking a ferry across the Lake and riding the cogwheel tram to the top. We enjoyed the company of a new friend on the journey.

Our 7 night adventure was a perfect immersion into the history and culture of Morocco. Majid gave us the best program to see and explore the old cities and experience the food. Zaid was an amazing driver and saw that we had smooth transitions. The individual guides in each city gave us local knowledge and took us to see the best places. Hakim, our guide in Fes, was amazing and our favorite. Ishmael, our guide in Marrakech, helped us explore the old market. We had a private dinner prepared by chef Madi. We loved our overnight in Agafay. Mohamed spent time telling us about life in the Sahara desert. And last was a perfect ending with a wonderful experience doing a traditional Hamam.
We totally recommend KumKim for a great Moroccan adventure.

We had a fantastic trip to Ireland. Dean did a great job communicating with us during the initial process and planning phase and Katie checked in every day to make sure we were doing ok and on track. Every tour we did from Trinity College in Dublin to our personal guided tour around the Ring of Kerry to our ferry to the Aran Island went smoothly and met all of our expectations. All the guides were very knowledgeable about their expertise and I would say Eric at Starbikes in Rome was the most personable and made the ebike experience on Via Appia very enjoyable.Chiro was great and I enjoyed chatting with him about all things Italian. I enjoyed the Hecanleneum tour over Pompeii. The hike with Francesco was great. Napoli was a little chaotic for our party, our gude was was good and she explained alot about the history of the city. We had to cancel Monte Cassino because of the rock fall but still we got a lot into our week in Italy. Thanks for all your help with the daily brief emails of what to expext - I never had that on a KimKim before and it was very helpful.

We had a great experience from start to finish. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating and helpful the team was when something unexpected came up and we needed to re-book our trip. They made the process easy and stress-free, which we really appreciated.

The hotels were clean, comfortable, and well staffed, and we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The activities were also a highlight of the trip. We had so much fun and really enjoyed getting to experience everything that was planned for us. Our favorite was the catamaran day, it took us to some absolutely STUNNING swim spots!

The itinerary was easy to follow, which made the entire trip feel organized without being overwhelming. We also appreciated the regular check-ins to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed along the way.

Overall, we had an amazing time in Greece and felt very well taken care of throughout the entire trip!

Ariel Chasi did a fantastic job helping us plan the trip according to our interests, and Sebastian Carrera was an excellent guide who made our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. He taught us so much about Ecuador that we never would have discovered on our own. We really enjoyed the hikes we took at Cotopaxi National Park, Quilotoa Crater Lake, Chimborazo Volcano, and Mandango Mountain in Vilcabamba. Our favorite cities were Quito, Banos and Cuenca. Galápagos Islands were really special for the snorkeling and wildlife that we saw there. The trip was an experience we’ll never forget!

It was a wonderful trip. We just landed and being driven home.
We couldn’t have had a better eleven days of weather.
I will definitely rate your company a five star and we were also very pleased with Rui and Darsi XP.
Our group loved the trip overall.
A couple of suggestions:
When you sent the itinerary all of us missed pressing the details button. I guess we were all new to this type of service and is why there was some confusion on my part in asking you several questions.
The only restaurant that we suggest you don’t recommend in the future is Pinoquio in Lisbon. The experience was awful from food to rushed service to screaming kids sitting right behind us.
Most importantly the tee times were later than we would’ve expected. That made for little downtime after golf and before dinner. Especially Mar de Fora. The restaurant had excellent food but we totally missed the ambiance of the sunset.
But as stated the entire experience was amazing including tour of Lisbon, Fado dinner both the boat ride along the coast of the Algarve and sailing up the Tagus. All of the tour guides were informative personal and friendly.
As far as the hotels were concerned we were very pleased with PortoBay Liberdade and the Tivoli in the Algarve. The Miragem is getting dated and you will probably want to consider a different hotel in the future.

Best of the four courses we played. Make sure you reserve a buggy unless you’re a walker. They do have caddies with push carts. We are in our 70’s and the walk might have been a bit much considering my wife had a knee replacement six weeks prior. Our faithful driver intervened and made sure we had carts.

Hamsa was a wonderful guide and I had a great time. I didn’t have very long but he made sure I got to enjoy the city, the Mosque, and we had an excellent late breakfast at a local restaurant. The hotel Majid arranged was really nice, comfortable and a wonderful breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend. Five stars all around and I will definitely be back for a longer tour of Morocco when I have more time. Two big thumbs up!!
