Dean was the best! We did a self guided tour and his guidance took us to the most beautiful places! When people ask, what my favorite part of the trip was…I say, I loved it all! The lush rolling green hills with sheep, the castles, the gorgeous beaches, the dramatic cliffs, the wild flowers, and the lovely sea side villages. Ireland will forever hold a place in my heart 💚 Thank you so much for this experience.

My husband and I had the best time in Italy! Tasos and the kimkim team did a fantastic job from start to finish. We stayed in beautiful hotels, usually tucked away on a quiet street but still in the heart of each city. The excursions booked were all with incredibly knowledgeable guides. My favorites were an ebike tour through the heart of Tuscany and a boat ride around the Amalfi Coast. The restaurant recommendations in each city were also great, kept us away from any tourist traps. The kimkim care team was super responsive during our trip as questions came up. The whole trip was so seamless, and we can't wait to use kimkim for future European travels.

KimKim did such a wonderful job with our trip! We'd talked about traveling to Korea for years but weren't sure how to go about it, which ultimately led us to KimKim, and they made it everything we could have ever hoped for. From our private guides (Luke and Jun were wonderful!) to our cooking class and everything in-between, KimKim did such a great job. I couldn't recommend them enough.

We loved all our guides especially Francy from the Cannes + Antibes all day tour. She was super sweet and helpful. Our guide from the tasting tour in Paris was super knowledgeable about the area and I got so much out of the tour.

A wonderful trip!

Definitely a dream come true for us. Just a few things with planning and communication that didn’t go through. We had asked for twin beds but neither of the hotels were aware of this, and the tour of Versailles said it was an e-bike tour in the itinerary which was preferable, but it was not actually e-bikes.

Otherwise, everything else was amazing and we had a great time. I loved the free day in Nice and actually went to Monaco on that day, and the guided tour of Antibes, Cannes, and St. Paul de Vence was my favorite activity. Both of the tasting tours were great and high quality and the hotels were perfectly located. I also enjoyed the train ride and appreciated the private transport to and from the airport.

We loved Croatia.
The trip was beyond our expectations. We had a wonderful time with our friends Jose & Lawrence. All guides/drivers were excellent. The details in their knowledge of the Croatia history and areas we travelled was superb.

All accommodations were more than we expected with wonderful breakfast feasts. We tried pizza in many places and all were VG. The food was enjoyable and a nice variety - lots of fresh fish.

I had a great 75th birthday, so many well wishes. Did a private boat ride to some of the Elafiti islands. Finished the celebration with a superb oyster feed in a beautiful restaurant.

Robi planned our trip to the Nth degree. He was always available and in close contact with us with instructions for us when, where and how to catch our transportation or meet with guides. All guides and transport people were knowledgeable and lovely.

We did finally meet up with Robi and had an enjoyable visit with him.
The 4 of us would highly recommend Robi and Kimkim for travel.

We had an amazing 3 week trip to Indonesia, visiting 4 islands (Java, Kalimantan, Bali, Flores/Komodo). Myriam did an excellent job planning the trip, she was very responsive both during the planning and while traveling. Everything worked out as planned and on schedule. All the guides were knowledgeable, spoke good English, though sometimes they had some difficulty understanding it. The hotels were all good. The best experiences were the Komodo and Kalimantan boat trips and Prambanan and Borobudur temples near Yogyakarta.

Leny and her team were awesome. They arranged spectacular private tours of Tokyo and Seoul for us. We saw and experienced so many more things than we could have on our own. The guides were amazing. They went out of their way to be helpful and provide us with the best possible experience. They bridged the language barriers and explained all the cultural nuances of the sites we visited. They suggested restaurants and amazing local cuisine to try. The vans were always waiting to take us on to the next stop. The whole experience was seamless.

Leny and her team were always in contact with us throughout the trip. Confirming pickup times and guides' names and phone numbers. When we wanted to make changes to our itinerary. It was done over night. They could not have been more caring or helpful. I would strongly recommend booking with Leny.

In Tokyo, the one experience you should not miss is the Shimbuya Food Tour. It was spectacular. No one on their own could find all the small hole in the wall restaurants we ate at. The food was divine!

Our family of 9 had an incredible trip to Costa Rica thanks to Elena and Adrian. They were both helpful and communicative both during planning and while on site. Arenal Springs Resort & Spa in La Fortuna was the perfect first stop and had everything we could have wanted - hot springs on site that we visited daily, excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and a secluded peaceful environment. The buffet breakfast was delicious each morning offering tons of options. All of our excursions for perfect for our group - volcano hike plus waterfall (doing both back to back same day was a little much for the adults though), water water rafting and ziplining at Sky Adventure (the most memorable)! We love this property. The only downfall was it was not walkable to most restaurants and since we didn't have a vehicle it required many taxi rides. The view at La Mariposa in Manuel Antonio could not be matched, though the staff was not nearly as helpful here. We loved that it was walkable to tons of shops and restaurants though. The animals and wildlife in M.A. are spectacular, as was our guide for our nature hike in the national park. The catamaran we took was fun, though had a LOT of other people which was a bit of a bummer since we have done smaller boats in other places that felt more quaint. The bbq lunch on board was delicious though. We had the same driver the entire trip and I can't recommend Alex enough. He was always helpful and knowledgeable and offered great food recommendations. I hope we will be able to return to this beautiful country one day to explore other areas.

Bella was great. She organized a custom trip through Japan for our family. She was helpful at suggestions for what might work best. We visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima. We had two wonderful local guides, Ms Cho and Mr Hideo. We also had two different drivers. Bella was great at keeping in contact through planning and during our trip. If you get the chance to work with her, you won’t be disappointed.

Kimkim did a wonderful job of helping us to plan our first trip to Italy. From creating an exciting itinerary to booking tours, they really planned a great trip for us. I loved that you could ask questions and make suggestions for each of the things they planned, before you even book the trip. And then a few weeks before we started our trip, Leslie was so patient with our last minute questions...and I asked a lot of them!

Once we left for Italy, their daily reminder of what was on our itinerary for the next day was so helpful and comforting. During the trip, they responded very quickly to real time questions during the day.

The meeting places were exactly where they said they would be. Each tour was wonderful. The driver who picked us up at the airport waited so patiently for us. The Naples food tour was so delicious and the portions were large. The guide, Sara was awesome! The driver from Naples to Sorrento was wonderful (GianFranco?) and the Pompeii tour guide was so informative and really customized our tour to what we were interested in. She knew everything about Pompeii!! Loved her! (sorry, can't remember her name). The Jewish Ghetto tour was perfect. The guide (Sara?) was so knowledgeable about everything. We loved her and the tour. The pasta making experience was so much fun. The instructors/chefs were fun and patient. Everything was so well organized. And I can't believe how easy they made it feel/seem as we made pasta. So enjoyable!! The Colosseum Tour and Sistine Chapel Tour were both well organized and informative. We loved the tour guides. The Oreste/Contadina Farm experience was lovely. Oreste was fascinating. We learned about our host and how he maintains his farm. The food was outstanding and delicious and generous.

The hotels were awesome! They were so clean and the breakfasts were all so full and delicious. An interesting thing happened when we checked into our first hotel, we entered our hotel room and there was no electricity. We called down to the front desk and found out you had to put your room card into the slot to make the electricity turn on. Ha ha!! The first hotel in Rome was lovely and charming. The Naples hotel was quirky in how you had to get into the courtyard and the pay to use the elevator. But it was so centrally located we loved it. The Sorrento hotel had the most beautiful view on its rooftop that it brought tears to my eyes!!! The hotel in Travestere was centrally located and we loved it. The courtyard to relax in was beautiful. We even liked how to use our phone to get into the hotel and to our room. And at each hotel the people were so friendly and helpful!!

All of our guides were amazing. They were matched so well to us. Especially to my son, which was most important to me.
We never at any time felt unsafe, which was everyone's concern when we left home. I found all three countries wonderful and the most educational . I didn't realize at my age how little I knew. It was all explained in such a way that we could remember it. Also our guide from Israel sent us a list of all the sites we saw and related them to verses in the bible, which I feel was above and beyond excellence. However that doesn't take away the excellence of the other guides and also the drivers. Getting across the boarders was interesting but out our guides made it all seem okay. The Ciro airport was frightening, but George made it easy for us. I would highly recommend this Company to anyone who wants to travel to these Countries. I was not involved in the planning of the trip but felt that things could not have gone better. I am just beginning the travel portion of my life so I don’t have much to compare this trip to but I thoroughly enjoyed each and every hotel, meal and excursion we did. David set the standard for guides and it will be hard for any other guide to equal his efforts with our group. His communication and coordination of things with such a large group was fabulous. His love and knowledge of Ecuador shone through in everything we did.

Our trip was very well planned. Ben was amazing from the beginning of planning to the end of the trip. Any small hiccup was quickly fixed.

We feel we left Japan was a great appreciation for the country and its people. I know there is more to see. Maybe one day, we will be back.

This is my second trip with KimKim and will use them again next year.

I asked how do I get back to hotel… and didn’t get an answer. so we didn’t eat and followed him back to hotel on a long trek via public transportation.

I get japan now for their public transportation. but we seemed to have spent hours on it with him. when a taxi was available for a little more money.

Finally on our last day.. he seemed to hurry us off the island. we got done with kayaking…then he wanted to get through the temple. fine… but we were dehydrated, hungry, and had to go to bathroom. he lacked any kind of empathy for our needs. When we had to demand to eat.. we finally did. then he wanted to leave. I thought we were supposed to have private time. then we leave and get in tram for over an hour or o get back to hotel.

We had a great experience with KimKim and our recent trip to Iceland. Planning with Noga could not have been easier. She and her colleagues were responsive and helpful, before the trip and when we were in Iceland. Nothing was overlooked. We felt the cost of this trip was very reasonable and Noga and team really listened to the type of accommodations we wanted, the adventures we wanted, the foods we liked, etc. We traveled the last week of May - it was cold and we had 2 solid days of strong wind, low temps, and sideways rain. It didn't ruin the trip by any means, but go prepared with lots of layers and - especially - waterproof outer layers. From what we heard when we were there, you're likely to need it. Highlights of our trip were the glacier hike and a private full day jeep tour that brought us into remote parts of the mountains not accessible by regular vehicles. If you can swing a private tour, do it. They can tailor the day around you and your likes/dislikes/athletic abilities. The island itself is hard to describe - otherworldly. Visit!

Gumi met all of our wishes for an active, energizing travel around Iceland. His recommendations for activities, restaurants, and lodging were all spot on. Everything was timed out so there was no anxiety around where and when we needed to be somewhere. The cadence was perfect, mixing strenuous days with relaxing spa days. Gumi had us well prepared for what to bring and what to expect (don’t forget your rain suits!). He took care of unusual occurrences (a spa was closed due to an unexpected issue and we were quickly rebooked to another one). We could not have asked for a better planned and executed vacation.

Othman was a wonderful help when planning our trip. He customized it to fit our needs and worked hard to fix things when our flight was delayed a day (storms in the US - no fault of anyone). We were still able to fit everything in and it was wonderful. Truly an experience of a lifetime and will use this service again!
