Overview

Located in the Amazon jungle, the award-winning Calanoa Jungle Hotel offers an authentic experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty and wonder of the Amazon. This 120-acre (50-hectare) nature reserve is easily accessible and provides cozy accommodations and various activities, including jungle, river, and cultural experiences. During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to explore the surrounding wilderness, visit nearby Indigenous villages, and enjoy the views of the Amazon River.

At Calanoa Jungle Hotel, the architecture is designed to let you experience the jungle in all its glory. The hotel features ethereal walls and light spaces that open your senses to the limitless jungle. Choose from one of the seven comfortable and designed cabins, each filled with unique elements created by artist Diego Samper. These cabins are designed to provide optimal ventilation, and the beds have an awning to protect against insects. Connected by an elevated path, you'll have access to the social area and platforms for relaxing by the river and observing wildlife.

Calanoa Jungle Hotel is renowned for its fusion of local Amazonian traditions with Brazilian, Colombian, and Peruvian cuisine. Using local, organic, and fresh products, the hotel creates delicious sensory experiences for its guests. During your stay, you can also participate in various workshops and activities, such as artisanal piranha fishing, night canoeing, basketry, and ceramics. Indulge in personal rituals led by traditional doctors, including herbal and mud baths, for a deeper connection with the jungle.

It’s an ecolodge in the rainforest. We had the treehouse. Everyone is very helpful. Its beautiful. It places you in the jungle with the nighttime sounds being magical. Our room had a quiet, Bed withfly nets a small fan and a bathroom. There is
No where to hang cloths. Food was excellent and consisted of fish mostly and some chicken. the food is all local. Beer wine and soft drinks can be purchased.
It’s hot and very humid. It is the Amazon so be prepared. I would bring no cotton clothing... Read more

It’s hot and very humid. It is the Amazon so be prepared. I would bring no cotton clothing as everything gets damp. There is a lot of walking,
Balance and core strength are tested daily so be prepared. There are tours to local areas twice a day. Boat trips are.
It was a once in a
