Overview

Located just a 5-minute walk from the cliffs of Praia do Canavial, Cascade Wellness offers a peaceful respite outside of Lagos' lively center. Lagos' Old Town, with its streets of geometric patterns and 16th-century fortified walls, is a 5-minute drive, as are the turquoise waters and rock formations of Praia do Camilo. Nature enthusiasts can hike down to Ponte da Piedad and the lighthouse in 25 minutes, where you can catch some of the best views in the area.

This resort's 86 rooms are decorated in a modern beach style of bold colors and wooden furnishings. All room types include a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden, pool, or ocean. Bathrooms come with a rainfall shower and separate bathtub so that you can get a bit of extra relaxation. There are a number of options for larger parties, such as a four-bedroom villa with a private pool, a two-bedroom apartment, and a family suite.

Whatever you need, you can find it in the facilities of Cascade Wellness. Grab a lounge chair by one of the hotel's three pools, or sit at the pool bar to cool off with a refreshing drink. The three on-site restaurants offer international and local menus. The full-service spa includes treatments, as well as a sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, and cold pool. If you want to break a sweat, a soccer field and golf course are available. This family-friendly resort has a kids' club, babysitting services, and even a soccer academy for the young ones.

Close to the boardwalk/ cliffs. Quiet, natural surroundings and beauty.

Extremely attentive to all our concerns. Special kudos to the spa therapists who were excellent.

The apartments are very clean, however the appliances including the wash machine/dryer and iron did not work properly. Only one hair dryer was provided for two rooms/bathrooms.

Fantastic location with access to cliff walks. Great amenities. However, during the peak tourist season, the hotel needs more staff.
