Just returned from a 15 day trip to Thailand. Our local specialist Kelly did a fantastic job planning this for us. She was very responsive, always available during the trip and very accommodating of the last minute changes we had.
We visited Bangkok, Khao Sok and Phuket. The local guides at all 3 places did a great job. They were friendly and informative. We had transportation and support every step of the way.
The only negative, which was a small blip in a 15 day trip, was the Phi Phi Island excursion in Phuket. Our request for the entire trip was private tours but this one was not and the excursion itself was not worth it.
We provided feedback to Kelly and she was very understanding. Following this we checked on another excursion we had scheduled and when we realized it was also a large group tour we decided to cancel. Kelly was able to help us cancel and get a full reimbursement even though it was last minute. Her support was truly appreciated and made this just a small blip in our vacation.
We highly recommend KimKim and Kelly. We will be using them again in the future.

Location
The views from the rooftop bar is amazing. It’s close to the malls.
Staff
Friendly, helpful and responsive staff in all our interactions from front desk, restaurant, room service and housekeeping
Cleanliness & Comfort
Clean bedroom and bathroom. Turn down service was appreciated. We loved that they changed the incense and diffuser fragrance in the room every day. They also gave us little samplers of their aromatherapy products which was a nice touch.
500Rai Floating Resort
Surat Thani

This by far has been the best hotel we’ve stayed in all our travels. From the boat ride to access the resort, the hikes, canoeing and swimming options right from the room to the authentic dining, every bit was fantastic.

Authenticity & Character
Since it’s only accessible by boat, it is perfect to disconnect. And that is stated clearly in the common area - Disconnect to Reconnect
Location
Peaceful and serene. It’s in the middle of a large lake and the views are jaw dropping
Staff
Friendly and happy staff. It was nice to see this especially in such an isolated location
Cleanliness & Comfort
The shower did not drain but considering this is a remote floating resort we had no complaints.
