It was a wonderful trip and suited us perfectly. Just one negative was on arrival at the airport of Tortugero no one was there to pick us up. The air officer phoned the hotel, they sent someone over, but on arrival they said they had no booking for us. After I gave them the confirmation number they found the booking. There was no apology, which was disappointing. Although the rest of the stay was fabulous and couldn't fault the hotel.
La Fortuna was excellent, the guided tours were informative, well paced and we would highly recommend them. Thank you gor a brilliant holiday.

I remember planning your mother/son adventure back in January, and it's great to see everything turned out as planned. Minus the one transfer in Tortuguero that didn't arrive on time, but I trust it didn't take away from your adventure! :)
