I am passionate about exploration, travel, meeting new people, and immersing myself in the diverse cultures of the world. Having ventured to over 10 countries, including working experiences in Korea and Japan, I've recently spent the past five years living in Japan. The country's hospitality, stunning landscapes, from the majestic Fuji mountain to relaxing hot springs, and the etiquette of its people have left an indelible mark on my heart. Living in Japan was a profound experience, as I aimed to share the places and people I love, unveiling authentic and hidden treasures for others to truly experience the essence of Japan.
For me, traveling is an avenue for creating lasting memories, embracing new experiences, and expanding horizons. It provides an opportunity to step away from the ordinary, serving as a wellspring of inspiration. It's a time for dreaming about life, contemplating desires, and charting future paths. How did you get involved in travel?
"I hail from a picturesque city that often attracts a multitude of foreign visitors. Their diverse appearances and friendly demeanor always intrigued me, sparking a deep curiosity about their origins and the charm of their hometowns. Encouraged by my father, who emphasized the power of English as a key to exploring the world, I pursued English studies at a tourism-focused university.
Upon graduating, I ventured into the world of travel as a tour guide. This profession not only allowed me to utilize my language skills but also afforded me the opportunity to connect with people from every corner of the globe. Sharing in their cultures and life stories significantly broadened my horizons and shifted my perspectives on life.
In 2008, I embarked on my personal journey, exploring numerous countries across Asia and Europe. Traveling became more than just a personal passion; it became a guiding force in defining my life's purpose—assisting others in realizing their dream trips. My experiences as a traveler and a guide have uniquely shaped my path, leading me to a fulfilling role in helping people achieve their travel aspirations."

"I went to Thailand with my best friend in 2008. We were trekking in a rainforest and lost our way. It was hot and humid, we sweat a lot but found no shop to buy water. We had to put up with our body's tiredness and thirst and decide to climb to a higher spot to find directions. We walked, walked, and walked and finally made it to the top with the company of lots of beautiful butterflies. Guess what we see? The sun is setting over the sea! The sun is so red, the clouds are orange, and the sea water is sky blue, This view is breathtaking and unforgettable. It worth all the sweat and thirst. This is also the beauty of traveling- you’ll never know what ‘s waiting for you head！ "

Fei helped me curate the solo trip to Japan of my dreams. It was like she could read my mind! I saw so much in a short amount of time including Kyoto tea ceremony, sake tasting, temples and shrines and riding the Shinkansen. She replied quickly to me during the trip and while planning despite being on the opposite side of the world. I felt safe and well cared for the whole time. I have no regrets and am so grateful to Fei and the Kimkim team.

Highlights:
- Katana Sword Making in Kyoto
- Half Day Sagano Bamboo Grove & Arashiyama Walking Tour (Join-in)
- Osaka Highlights Bike Tour
- Full Day Mt.Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi Tour - it is a bit longer drive from Tokyo. We were unlucky that road to 5th station on Mt. Fuji was closed and traffic to the place was challenging so we spend a lot of time in car that day.
Few things that could be improved:
- few of our guides were actually more help to go around the place, rather than being really guide explaining things around the place we were visiting. We felt they didn't have much of the local knowledge, which was something we were expecting. They were mostly students living in Japan for several years. The guide that we had in Tokyo was really knowledgeable and was able to share more details.
Altogether, if you want trip without too much of worry, highly recommended. Make sure you stress out importance of having local guides.

Fei organised a wonderful trip to Japan (5 nights Tokyo, 5 nights Kyoto) for our family of four. Our tour guides (Gaku, Marcus and Slash) were absolutely fantastic – very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. The drivers were impeccable, always punctual and helpful, taking all the stress of out of travel. The excursions chosen by Fei were amazing – and we have taken home many happy memories! Absolutely best hotel to stay in in Kyoto. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff and a refreshing cup of tea. The front of house staff were extremely helpful in organising a table in the restaurant as well as providing excellent recommendations for a nearby coffee shop and restaurant. Rooms were beautiful and thoughtfully prepared. Restaurant was absolutely amazing - as were the restaurant staff. Would definitely stay here again.

An Insight into Local Religion: Fushimi Inari-Taisha,Nijo Castle and Kinkaku-ji

Our guide Gaku was super. She also had a great recommendation for lunch. Room for improvement? Perhaps only 2 out of the three activities would have been enough on this days.

Fei was fantastic! She is a great planner and went over our itinerary in detail. Plus, she was readily available throughout the trip to help with additional arrangements and questions.

We had a wonderful vacation in Japan and Fei (our coordinator from KimKim) was with us along the way, taking care of all the details and making our experience a memorable one.
We enjoyed all the places that we visited (Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto Kanagawa and Osaka), with everyone of them offering something different. We enjoyed very much the visit to the Himeji castle that is south of Kobe.
Very good experience overall and thank you to Fei again for taking care of all the details.

This was a great tour but it would be better as two days. We were rushed to see everything before it closed. Hiroshima tour is very in depth and heavy and deserves to be appreciated. Miyajima was really impressive and worth the trip from Hiroshima.
