The booking process was smooth and Brahim was very prompt in answering our messages given that we only started planning a month in advance. We spent seven days in Morocco, starting and ending in Marrakech, with a four day trip out to the dessert and back in the middle. He selected excellent accommodations for our family of four, and suggested two activities in Marrakech that we would recommend - a walking tour in the Medina (our guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable although soft spoken and sometimes hard to understand) and an excellent Moroccan cooking class through the Riad dar Attamjil. Yassim and Zachariah at Dar El Masa in Marrakech were very helpful and welcoming. They kept us on schedule by communicating with our tour providers and giving us advice and directions on how to experience the medina, souks, and parts beyond. Breakfasts were lovely, rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our guide/driver Mohammed was exceptional. His English was very good and he struck a great balance between educating us about Morocco and allowing for downtime. He really made this part of our trip the best it could be. Comfortable, clean van with wifi and plenty of water. Our teenaged children loved the camel rides to/from the desert, it was a highlight for them. La Perle du Dades was a beautiful kasbah near Boumalne Dades, very family friendly with games, a lovely pool and courtyard and fantastic dining. Kasbah Titrit near Ait Benhaddou was also top notch with spectacular rooms, excellent food and service. In every place we met with friendly people, full of pride in their country and incredibly warm and welcoming.
We would recommend KimKim's services to anyone traveling to Morocco - we would never have been able to relax and enjoy our trip this much had we tried to plan it on our own.

Our overall experience planning and booking our Moroccan tour with kimkim was very positive, especially because of the efficiency, professionalism and very timely responses from our local specialist, Brahim. While planning the trip, Brahim was very attentive to my special requests and responded to my questions often within minutes. While on the trip, I emailed him twice and on both occasions he responded back promptly with the information I had requested. On our last night, he even called the Dar where we were staying and spoke to me to check if everything was OK.
Regarding our experiences during the tour, our English-speaking driver Mohammed was very professional and friendly. The car was clean and comfortable and he provided fresh bottled water. He pointed out interesting landmarks on the way and shared historical information. Our assigned guide in Fes was substituted by Said, who was very knowledgeable and informative.
A couple of tips/suggestions for improvement:
1. The rest rooms in the rest areas where we stopped were not equipped with adequate facilities and the only time I had no option but to use one, it was “horrific”. I suggest the driver chooses only those test stops that have proper facilities or that people are warned in advance so they know what to expect.
2. As a Muslim, I was really hoping to pray in some of the famous mosques but unfortunately the mosques are open only during the short time of the congregational prayers and shut at other times. This was personally disappointing and I would not have had raised expectations if I knew this in advance. Similarly, one of my priorities was to visit the library in Fes university, the oldest university in the world, and look at ancient manuscripts of the Holy Koran. Sadly, we were informed that visitors are not allowed inside and could only stand by the closed gates. I know this is outside the scope of tour organizers but prior information would be helpful in managing one’s expectations.

Working with Brahim was very easy. It was clear from the start that he was very knowledgeable and motivated to ensure the trip was just as I wanted, but yet steering me in a direction that in his opinion would make a better trip.
We had a fantastic time in Morocco and were so happy we chose Kim Kim to help plan the trip. The driver provided, Racheed was extremely attentive, and very good with my two kids who accompanied me on the trip. He made sure we were taken care of and kept us safe throughout the entire trip. I had a birthday during the trip, and without my knowing, he arranged for a cake during one of our hotel stays and provided our party with a couple bottles of wine to help celebrate. Completely unexpected but very much appreciated.
We had our first flight to Casablanca cancel, and Brahim and his team were flexible enough to ensure that we didn't lose very much of our trip while we lost a day of our itinerary. They worked hard to ensure we were caught up as quickly as possible with our original itinerary.
There was a small misunderstanding on our desires during one of our days. Once the issue was brought to Racheed and Brahim's attention, they were apologetic and worked to make things right the following day, including buying our group of 8 lunch to make up for the mixup.
The Roads and hotels booked by Brahim and his team were top notch. Every night when we checked in to our accommodations, we couldn't believe our eyes on how nice, clean, and unique each property was. The desert camp near Merzouga was definitely a highlight.
When planning the trip, I was wary that Kim Kim would be price competitive. In fact, they rate offered was lower than I could have done on my own, with more features and the benefit of inside knowledge on the best places to stay throughout our trip.
Bravo to Racheed and Brahim and their team.

I used kimkim because I heard good reviews about them and when I was connected with Brahim, he proved to be very reliable, answering all my questions promptly. He was willing to work with my sort-of complicated schedule. I’m very impressed at how fast he would get back with me, something that I require when dealing with a travel agent.

My driver, Said, met us at the airport and drove us for six days. I was happy to have him around. Although his English wasn’t completely fluent he still understood my basic needs and was there to make us comfortable.

The riads Brahim chose for me (as I only requested 4-5 stars) were wonderful! My favorite was in Fes, the Riad Karawan. If I have to go back, I’d definitely go there again. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a hotel in Casablanca at the Sofitel. It was in a great location and the rooms were exquisite. There was just a minor misunderstanding, giving us only one bed (I traveled with my son), when Brahim assured we would get two beds. I explained this to the hotel reception and they kept insisting that it wasn’t pointed out by my travel agent, and that they were full so they can send me a cot. I said no, I’m not sleeping in a cot when I paid for two beds. They eventually gave in and got us a room with two beds.

My only complaints in my trip is that I think I paid a ton of money for only six days. Although we stayed in nice riads, I would suggest that with the price I paid, it should include the entrances for every point of interest we went to. It’s not much but it gets really annoying that I have to pay on top of it then give a tip to the guide. Also, in some places that didn’t require a guide such a volubilis, I had to pay 200 dirhams for one. But this is ok it’s not my biggest problem. My biggest problem is when I’m being brought to a coop and have to waste my time in things I wasn’t interested in. In Fes we went to a ceramic place and was duped into buying a tagine that cost me $260, an outrageous amount even here in the states. I honestly think I should have the freedom to choose to go (or not) to places (especially where they are forcing me into buying things I don’t really need and the problem with that is you’re thinking you’re in Morocco so why not get a tagine or whatever they are selling). This things shouldn’t be part of the tour since I’m not in a big bus with 50 other tourists.

One more thing, if you could tell the guides to ask beforehand where I would like to have lunch because there was definitely a restaurant in Fes I wanted to go to but instead was forced to go to a mediocre restaurant with full of tourists and food was seriously lacking in taste. I’m only in Morocco once and I want the best experience and eat the best foods. Anyway these are only suggestions and hopefully you can rethink of applying it in your future tours.

Speaking of guides, I was happy with Said in Fes. His English was so fluent it felt like home to me. Other than the restaurant he chose for us to go 😂, he was an excellent guide! The one guide in Marrakech (an old gentleman) was okay. His English was good enough to understand but he wasn’t very personable but that’s maybe because he was old. Lol!

Overall, I had the best time in Morocco. The people are friendly (even if I was getting duped by peddlers lol). I really enjoyed working with Brahim and will definitely choose Said again for my driver. You will have to give me a discount next time I go back since I’m a returning customer lol!

Each driver is doing his best so the travelers that are with him are safe, happy and well educated about the best of Morocco. We took a camel ride into the desert (about one hour) and slept in a rather luxurious “tent” in Merzouga which was quite fun. If we had more time, I would spend it in Chefchaouen and Fez and spend some time on the coast. All in all, we had a terrific time and saw more of Morocco than we could have on our own in the amount of time we were there. We learned a lot about the country’s history and the many cultures that have become part of it over the years. The vendors in the souks were eager to sell their wares but were not really aggressive about it and we felt very safe throughout the trip. Thank you Brahim and Mohammed for a great time.

Our entire experience with KimKim was effortless. From the initial and follow-up planning with Yassine to the final follow-up was a great experience. We were met at the Marrakesh airport by a young man named Ismael. We could not have asked for a better person to be our driver and to spend the trip with. He was engaging, courteous, helpful and a very cautious and competent driver. Interacting with him was one of the highlights of our trip. We checked into the Riad Melhoun which was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. The next morning we were met by our tour guide, Mohammed. He spent the entire day taking thru Marrakesh and showing us the highlights, along with some very local spots such as the community baker and community Tagine oven and caretaker. He also introduced us to local craftsman who made ironwork, leather products etc. He ended the day with us at the main square in Marrakesh awaiting sunset. The next day we headed to Ouarzazate, the drive was very scenic and kept our interest. We stopped for a pleasant lunch and then climbed to the ancient village, Ait Benhaddou. The views were spectacular from this ancient village. We stayed out Le Temple Des Arts which had “themed” suites. Once again, the staff was very kind and accommodating and we had a very nice dinner at the restaurant there. The next morning we were off to Merzouga for our camel trip into the Sahara. Along the way we stopped at Dades Gorge which was very scenic and a nice walking break. We had lunch in the local village just outside the Gorge. We arrived in Merouza around 5:15 to begin our camel ride for our overnight stay in the Sahara. The ride was about two hours and our guide into the desert was personable and he took great photos for all of us. We stopped before reaching camp so we could enjoy the sunset. We arrived at Luxury Camp Chebbi, and everything was set up for us. After a nice sit around a fire, we were ready for dinner. The dinner was amazing, and our favorite was a tomato, eggplant and goat cheese dish cooked in a tagine. We decided we wanted to take the chef, Omar, back to the USA so we could have his delicious food again. The next morning we went back to Merouza via 4 wheel drive since we had a long drive to Fes. We wanted to ride the camels back but the two hours would have made that difficult to arrive at a decent time. Along our journey, we stopped at a local weekly market that had all kinds of produce, fruit, etc. We never knew there were so many different type of dates. It was very interesting to see how the locals come to these weekly markets to get their goods. We later stopped in Ifrane which is a completely different, but was a nice stop for a coffee and a stroll around town. Later in the day we arrived in Fes and went to Dar Roumana to check in. This Dar is absolutely beautiful. Later that evening we were taken to a local restaurant, Dar Hatim. This restaurant served us perhaps the best Moroccan salad and a lamb tagine that was so tender and tasty. The next morning we met our guide, Hakim, to begin our tour of Fes. We first took a drive to see the Medina from above and then went back so we could start walking thru town. We went thru the blue gate and wandered thru the souks and stopped at the tannery (use the mint leaves), then later stopped at a weavers store. The craftsmanship was amazing to see. We later went to a tile shop/school where they make the most beautiful pottery, mosaics, vases, etc. This place was also a school that trained locals to become artisans. Our guide then took us back to Dar Roumana around 6 pm. The staff arranged for a guide to get us the Clock Cafe where they had some local music and a nice dinner on the top terrace. The alleys and streets with the Medina of Fes are overwhelming and easy to lose your way so we appreciated the assistance, otherwise we might still be wondering around Fes. The next morning we departed to head to Chefchaouen. Our first stop was at Meknes to take a look at the ancient stables where they had 12,000 horses. We then motored along to the the Roman ruins, Volubilis and walked around the area for a while looking at the layout. The area was very scenic and had great views. Our next stop was Moulay Idriss. We checked into a very charming place called Dar Mez which was very quaint and colorful and had absolute great views of the city. We then wondered around the beautiful Medina of Chefchaouen till around 10 pm. We the tried to make our way back to the Dar but were hopelessly lost. Our young local man kindly guided us back to the Dar. A tip to him was money well spent! The next day we wondered back thru the Medina and souks. The shop keepers in Chefchaouen are much more laid back then Fes and Marrakesh so that made browsing a bit easier. We had a nice lunch in town before heading back on the road again. We headed to Rabat and once we arrived we checked into Riad Ziena. We walked the area again and then headed out to eat at Dar Nani Medina. We then continued walking the markets and stopped at an outdoor pastry shop for a couple of sweet desserts to celebrate my birthday. This time we actually found our way back to the Riad without assistance. A major victory for us. The next day we headed to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II. The traffic in Casablanca was the worst we experience but as usual Ismael handled it effortlessly. The mosque is absolutely beautiful and spectacularly large. The mosaic work around the mosque was worth of many pictures. We then headed back to our final destination, Marrakesh for another night. We stopped for a nice lunch along the highway before reaching the final accommodation, Palais Khum. We immediately, left to visit the square on more time, get lost in the Souks and enjoy one more meal overlooking the square. We lingered long into the night and reluctantly headed back knowing we would be leaving the next morning. The next morning before Ismael picked us up we wondered the local alleys and shops. Ismael met us at 11:30 am for our ride to the airport. We sadly said our goodbye is Ismael.

I visited Morocco 2 weeks ago with my 14 year old daughter. We had an amazing experience. We are truly pleased with the services provided by KimKim. The tour was arranged by Brahim. He had always provided timely, courteous responses to my questions and helped me every step of the planning process. We reached Marrakech later than scheduled due to flight delays. I had failed to inform Brahim of the delay. Brahim exhausted every resource available to him trying to make sure we were ok/ safe. He even checked in with us during the trip to make sure we were having a great time.

Our driver Amine was awesome. He was pleasant, safe and very punctual (we were the ones who made him wait :)). He tried to keep us informed in advance about the places we were visiting/ stops en route. It took him a couple of days to warm up to us, but when he did he was a lot of fun. We spent one evening playing cards after dinner, my daughter had a great time learning card tricks/ games from him and teaching him card games. He was very accommodating and stopped any time we requested a stop. He appeared to be quite knowledgeable of the places we visited and took us to some fantastic restaurants for authentic Moroccan lunch. He took us to places (women’s co-operatives and workshops) where we learnt in length about the fossils, argan, rose and carpets. The vendor at the rose products shop was very friendly, not only did he sell us some good quality rose products, but he also taught me how to make tajine and gifted me a bag of spices that he had bought to make his own meal. That was so very generous of him and his tajine smelled so good :)

The arrangements exceeded my expectations most of time. The arrangement at the bivouac in the Sahara desert deserves a special mention. The tent was very comfortable with washroom and shower facilities. Our camel man Sayeed deserves a special thanks for making our experience a memorable one. The food was plenty and the entertainment was fantastic. He helped me up and down the massive dunes and even gave us company while we were star gazing in the dark trying to explain the stars and life in the desert. The Riads were clean and comfortable. The hosts/ riad staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dinner served at the Riads (Dar Sofar, Hotel Amazir and Makhtoub in Ait Ben Haddou) were fresh, delicious and plenty, often too much for us to finish. Moroccan breakfasts are different from what we are used to in North America, but the freshly squeezed orange juice made a huge difference, delicious 

The only thing I would like to mention is that some Riads charge you for bottled water, but they don’t tell you that until when it is time to leave. This I thought was a little inconvenient especially since I had bottled water in the car, and I ended up paying almost 3-4 times the cost unnecessarily. Also, I had exchanged only limited $$ for each day and this resulted in my budget being messed up for tips, etc. Perhaps it would be a good practice to let the guests know in advance that there is a cost for the bottled water, so the guests can make an informed choice.

All in all it was a fantastic experience, I would recommend Brahim and his team in a heartbeat. You can trust them for your travel needs. Thank you Brahim and team!

Amine our driver was good and very safe as an added bonus he new the local areas quite well, thanks to him we enjoyed late night street food in Fes and other foods that we may not have had the opportunity to try. Amine, was very accommodating and he was willingly available for us at night when there were things we wanted to do like going to Rick’s Cafe. It was quite enjoyable having someone that could take us to local spots to watch football (he’s a Barca fan fair warning to Madrid fans). With Amine it was like having another member of the family with us, we were very comfortable, and all three of us would highly recommend his services. He was very pleasant and enjoyable to be with. On a side note Amine really went the extra mile when my mother left her jacket in our hotel in Casablanca, he arranged to have picked up and delivered to her in Marrakesh. We really appreciated everything Amine did for us.

The tour guides we had were all very good and very knowledgeable. In Fes we had Saïd and in Marrakesh we had Mohammad. Overall we had a fantastic and safe time in Morocco.

We had an amazing trip to Morroco. We are really pleased with the services provided by kimkim. They were fast and reliable before the trip and during the trip. The cities proposed and the accommodations were great. There is a special mention to all the people who helped us have an amazing trip.

Hassam Fes tour guide - He gave us a short but effective tour of the Medina. We were able to see the most important places. During the tour, we visited artisans workshops we felt they were interesting but repetitive. Not a lot of information on the history of Fes and the Medina

Samir driver - He was really nice and attentive. He got us safely to each location. Moreover, he was constantly making us aware of the scams to tourists. He was punctual and provided information about the places we were visiting.

Hassan Marrakech tour guide - He gave us a great tour, we saw all the points of interest inside the Medina. He gave clear and interesting explanations. Also, he gave us amazing recommendations on what to do after the tour.

Abdellah trip planner - He was a great trip planner. He was very friendly and extremely effective with our plan, four days before our trip we had to cancel another agency with whom we were planning to make a trip to Morroco. Abdellah rapidly organized us a wonderful trip in 4 days which was fully customized to our preferences and budget. He was also available on the phone at any moment to resolve any issue before and during the trip.

Our driver Rachid Chaif was excellent. He had a lot of information to share about the culture, history and places. When in need, he loaned us with local currency! Yeah, thats right! He was awesome. We shared a lot of good songs on the road trips. He was very kind and took a lot of pictures of us and shared it through WhatsApp. He even gifted me with a tagine! Big thanks to the team for taking such good care of us. The guide in Fes, Hafid was excellent. He was a tower of knowledge and too us through the Souks and made us feel safe. He had a lot of good advice and suggestions, which is really appreciated.
On the whole it was an excellent trip and I look forward to working with Kimkim again.

It's been a marvelous trip and highly recommend Abdellah our expert. I wasn't very specific with my travel request he planned it perfectly and more. So thank you! Everyday there was something different. It showed us beauty of Morroco and warmth of its people. We will definitely have to come back!

We love our driver/Tour guide Said. He took great care of us. Took wonderful pictures. He is knowledgeable passionate about his country. We now count him as a friend.

From Said and to our day guides who are knowledgeable and proud of their heritage and country and riad owners/managers family atmosphere it was memomarble once in lifetime experience.

Chechouan blue city was something out of a fairytale.

Volubilis brought us to ancient times. Brought to life by our guide Mohammed.

In Fes our guide Hassan showed us scope of city and we learned a lot the different craftsmanships handed down for generations and workmanship. Pottery, Looming, Carpetry, Tanneries.
The drive to Fez to Merzouga though the longest we barely noticed as we had stops on picturesque sights.

We got to interact with Barbary Monkeys. And one day experience four seasons in middle atlas.

Sahara was just magical. If you can manage spend two nights. We are forever changed by meeting family of Nomads. We also learned to play Berber instruments and music.

Souks in Market day, was a great experience.

Makarech has it's own beautiful flavor and flair. A great history 🇲🇦& Makarech lesson early morning with Makarech guide Youssef. But the highlight of Makarech is our cooking class at the Lotus Chef School. We learned to make Two salads and chicken tagine. They also showed breadmaking and thousand holes pancake and art of tea making.

I'm probably missing a lot of great experience in this review.

Friends and family are like is it really that beautiful in Morocco or just pictures. As we always look like we are having fun. I'm like yes it is. Come over!!

This trip was like a dream, everything went just perfect and as planned. Yassine was incredibly patient and accommodating, he listened to us, responded to every question we had and made sure we would be happy with our finalized itinerary. Our trip started in Casablanca, our flight was more than four hours delayed due to bad weather in Montreal, our driver Mohammed was patiently waiting for us and it was a relief to see him there and greeting us with a smile, we immediately felt welcomed and safe. He drove us all the way to Fes with a quick stop at Rabat. We spent two nights in Fes, our guide Hakim was super knowledgeable and funny, we had a great day of learning and exploring the medina. We then drove all the way to Marrakesh via Casablanca. One tip for next time, I would avoid Casablanca all together, we just spent a few hours there but with traffic in the city it was more than needed and not worth it. In Marrakesh we spent three nights but only two full days, we had an amazing time and our guide Ali was super fun to be with, he was also very accommodating with our last minute itinerary changes and just adapted to our pace. On our second day we went to Agafay desert in the afternoon, this was definitely a highlight of our trip, if you have the chance, don't miss it! From Marrakesh we drove to Essaouira, we only spent one night there and I wish we had more time, it was one of my favorite places of all. One tip is, buy all your souvenirs there, its way cheaper than any other place and they have everything. Definitely don't miss Essaouria. On our last day we drove back to Casablanca and had dinner at a fancy restaurant our driver Mohammed suggested, we had an amazing time and the food was delightful! Well, food was amazing every single day, from the most cheap to more pricey places!
All of our accommodations were unbelievable nice and charming, it was definitely a huge part of our whole experience, we mostly stayed at riads, which were the perfect selection for us. We were provided with a small cel phone for anything that we needed at any time. Our driver Mohammed was incredibly helpful and friendly, and most importantly, drove us with professionalism and great skills all around Morocco, which involved a lot of driving!
I will definitely will be using kimkim services again and would recommend to anyone planning their next adventure!

My father and I spent 11 days traveling around Morocco with kimkim and had an absolutely incredible time. Right from the start, our local specialist, Brahim, was attentive to our questions and priorities, responsive and very patient as we put together our itinerary. Our trip was planned last minute-- we only had about 3 weeks between the time we contacted kimkim to when we landed in Casablanca, and kimkim was able to cater to our spontaneity, customizing the perfect trip for us. Brahim checked in with us several times throughout our trip to make sure things were going well and we always felt looked after.

Our driver, Amine, was polite, always on time, and flexible if we wanted to change plans or linger in one place. It wasn't long before he felt like a trusted friend. Most importantly-- he was a VERY safe driver-- particularly in Marrakech we were impressed with his driving skills, where the roads are chaotic. Getting to know Amine was one of the highlights of our trip.

Our tour guide in Fes, Hafid, blew us away. He was knowledgeable, charming, and spoke English very well. He was also very flexible with how long the tour lasted-- we didn't feel rushed and he kept asking if there were other things we'd like to see. We couldn't have enjoyed the Medina nearly as much without his local insight.

We chose 3* accommodations and found them perfectly adequate for a father/daughter duo. Always central to wherever we were staying, sparkling clean, with friendly staff and a delicious, fresh breakfast. The riads in Rabat (Dar Alia) and Fes (Perle de la Medina) were breath taking.

It's difficult to pick a most memorable place-- but I think I enjoyed Fes the most. We stumbled upon Cafe Clock; we actually went there twice for dinner because we enjoyed the vibe so much.

Speaking of restaurants-- the only negative about the overall experience I can think of was the surprising lack of diversity in cuisine. It seemed like almost everywhere we were taken to, tagine was the main offering, and after the first 1-2 times of tagine I craved something different, but did not find much variation. We didn't often pick where we ate for lunch (and we would have no resources to know where to go anyway), so I don't if it's just the way moroccan food is, or if it was because of the specific places we were taken to. So unless you know you love tagine, try to make sure your meals have some variation, even if that means eating non-Moroccan food at times. I think we liked cafe clock so much (we went 4 times! 2x in Fes and 2x in Marrakech) because their menu had interesting things to offer besides tagine, and you could tell it had a youthful, cultural community vibe.

Overall a 10/10 for kimkim and all our guides and the people who made our trip unforgettable! Thank you so much!
