As HR and Operations Manager, I do a little bit of everything — and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every day looks different, which honestly feels pretty fitting at a travel company. But just like the best trips, it's the people that make the experience. I get to work with an amazing team every day, and that makes all the difference.
How did you get involved in travel?
"Growing up, road trips and camping were just part of life — and somewhere along the way, that turned into a genuine love of exploring. There's something about discovering a new place or connecting with someone you never would have met otherwise that fills my bucket.
My first trip outside the US was Costa Rica in college, and honestly, it kind of ruined me in the best way. The culture, the landscapes, the people — I came home a different person. But the real turning point was backpacking through Europe for four months with the man who would become my husband. Four months, a backpack, and no real plan. That trip changed everything."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Picture this: an absolutely packed train in Italy, mid-summer, bodies crammed into a narrow aisle, and everyone jostling for even a sliver of space. We were hot, beyond exhausted, wearing heavy backpacks, and on a mission to find somewhere — anywhere — to sit. That's when we spotted the dining car.
The catch? You had to be eating or drinking to take a table. So naturally, we committed. We ordered snacks, drinks, more snacks, more drinks... and just kept going. We laughed until our stomachs hurt, took turns dozing, and woke up to the waiter setting down the next round. It went on for hours.
At the time it felt a little ridiculous — but honestly? It's one of our favorite memories from the whole trip."
