Doris was exceptional. She remained the center of our wheel throughout our trip. She checked in and made sure all the moving parts were cohesive. Her kindness and clear investment in our experience made everything magical!

Overall we had a wonderful trip. There were several miscues regarding accommodations and one attraction but Said addressed them quickly. Our driver, Tayeb, was wonderful. Could not have asked for anyone to be more attentive to our needs. Offered terrific restaurant suggestions and was very knowledgeable about various attractions. Enjoyed all of our tour guides -Mohammed and Sharif and another person in Marrakech. My only complaint was that Mohammed decided we would rather end the tour than try the last two places. I would have appreciated being asked. Special shout out to Sharif for helping me avoid being overcharged for an item.

We had a great time. Guomundur Òli was great. He helped us navigate some pretty crazy weather and kept the trip fun. His suggestions were great and helpful.

Overall, the arrangements were excellent. The hotel was lovely and as long as folks are walkers like us, it’s well located. Otherwise, folks would be taking taxi or Metro which is fine too if they are comfortable with that.

Tours:
• Saturday - Walking/eating tour. Nathan was very personable, knowledgeable, with good sense of humor, coped well with our request to speak in French and we enjoyed the tour. Good introduction to the city. Food stops were great. Just two other people with us on that tour, a local French couple who don’t come into the big city too often and were delightful company.

• Sunday- we were on our own and walked and walked trying to find the market which turned out to be a long, uphill walk. The market was colorful and full of fresh veggies/fruits mostly. There was a large portion of the area that was dedicated to carnival rides, attractions and fair food. Because it was Sunday the area was full of young families enjoying the day. It was interesting, we saw a lot of the city but we probably needed to do more research to focus our day.

• Monday- E-bike, 4-hour tour. Bruno, our guide, was wonderful. He does need to know when to stop talking about politics but otherwise, sensitive to our needs, knowledgeable about the city and its history, architecture and best views. Despite the separate bike and pedestrian paths, construction and vehicle barriers and city traffic made navigating on an unfamiliar bike challenging. We would say that one needs more than a passing level of skill with an E-bike. The beautiful park Tete D’Or with bike avenues was much easier. The choices were either 2- or 4-hr tours and only 3 of us chose the 4-hour tour. We did the food stop, warmed up (it was cold and rainy); then Bruno suggested we take the funicular to the Basilica due to rain (ponchos included with the bike) and the steep climb; the rest of the tour was on foot. Bruno showed us the gorgeous church upstairs and down providing lots of details about the history. Our tour ended up being a total of six hours. Though we loved the tour, we were flagging by the end and had to walk the whole way down because the funicular was closed for repairs.

Our guide Francois
One common denominator of our last two tours, both of which were private, was the outstanding skill of our guide, Francois. He bore up so well under our fledgling efforts to speak French, he shared his passion of the subject(s) and he shared immense amounts of history, culture, architecture as well as knowledge and appreciation for French local wines. Those last two days in Lyon were so valuable and enjoyable because of his gentlemanly manner and broad knowledge.

• Tuesday - French Resistance Tour 4-hour private tour.(it was reported in our itinerary to be a 3-hour tour though we were happy to spend four hours on the subject) This is a “don’t miss” tour because the history of the war years, the valor of the French citizens who sought to defy their occupiers and the cause of the French republic is a Lyon story that we all should know.

• Wednesday - Beaujolais and Burgundy wine tour. Previously we did not have a good impression of Beaujolais wine, perhaps because of drinking only Beaujolais Nouveau in the past. We’ll look for Beaujolais now that we’ve tasted wonderful examples. As we drove further north, the wines were more interesting to us, Chateau Pierreclos was fabulous, for the chateau itself and, of course, the wines. Our last stop was Burgundy white wines that were fabulous. The variety of wineries- small, family run with the tasting led by the owner, the chateau with its wonderful buildings and welcoming staff (red and white wines) and the more modern looking Nadine Ferrand -Le vin au feminin, with the tasting led by the owner’s daughter and ending with its Premier Cru white wine - was excellent and a totally enjoyable day.

Bella was very nice, easy to communicate with, and she always made herself available for questions before and throughout our trip. If we had any issues or miscommunication with the hotel or guide, she was on top of it! We were so lucky to find her for to help plan our adventure ❤️. Our guides were also great, Nina was very fluent in English so that made everything go smoothly. She kept us on schedule and was very knowledgeable about the city and history. Ben was our final guide for the last day and she was very sweet. She made sure that we made enjoyed the short time we had for our last tour in Phuket. I would definitely us this company again and recommend to everyone.

Our trip to Greece was an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were beautiful and within easy walking distance. Each of the excursions and guides exceeded our expectations. I was especially pleased with ease of using the app and having tickets and boarding passes readily available. I was also pleased with the ease of communication where ever we were.

Lorenza did a great job creating a wonderful vacation with us. It helped that we had a video call at the beginning of our planning, and that was a nice connection. We flew into Catania and drove right up to Taormina for 3 nights, then Siracusa, Modica, Agrigento, Marsala, and finally Palermo. We booked 2 hotels on our own and Lorenza recommended and booked the rest. The day tours were terrific and high quality, and all ground transportation she arranged worked very well. There were some blips, mainly relating to the app that the agency uses call Vamoos. For example, one hotel was changed for good reasons and we weren’t aware of it, so we arrived at the wrong hotel. Lorenza thought we would look in the app, but we were working from the printed itinerary. Even with that, it was a wonderful trip, with Lorenza available on WhatsApp throughout.

I had the most amazing time in Barcelona thanks to the wonderful team at Kim Kim. Everyone I interacted with for any questions or concerns was always answered quickly and efficiently. Everything was planned to the smallest detail. They really listened to my preferences. Any adjustments needed was taken care of immediately. The tour guides and hotel choice were outstanding. It was my first time in Spain and now one of my favorite and look forward to coming back again thanks to Kim Kim. I will never travel again without them and will definitely recommend to all my family and friends. I was in good hands with Kim Kim!

Popi Georgopoulou, our guide to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum was excellent. Her knowledge and the information she shared with us in both places was exceptional. She enjoyed telling the history of Athens and the Acropolis. She not only told us the main points but also some of the side stories which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend her for all of your tours.
All of our hotels were ideally located, within walking distance of many restaurants and sites.
All of our transfers were punctual, the drivers friendly, helpful and very professional. The vehicles we had were
excellent and provided more than enough room for us and our luggage.
When we needed to keep Eirini or the staff informed about situations, they were always quick to reply and offer help when needed.

We cannot recommend Be A Greek enough! From start to finish, the trip was completely worry-free. They were available anytime we had questions or needed help, and they even rearranged our first day when someone missed their flight. Originally, we planned this trip for 2024, but due to some issues, we had to move it back a year, and they handled everything seamlessly without any stress on our part. Thanks to Be A Greek, we had such memorable experiences. Our food tour in Naxos was incredible, especially the orange cake, and we loved learning about the city’s history. The Naxos cooking class was by far our favorite activity, exploring the farm, picking fresh vegetables, and doing traditional Greek dances and plate breaking. In Santorini, the cultural highlights and wine tasting tour gave us a perfect mix of history, local flavors, and small-crowd sightseeing, plus we found some amazing gifts for friends. And the sunset catamaran cruise with BBQ was breathtaking, romantic, and offered some of the best photos of our trip. • A spectacular food tour in Jemaa el-Fnaa square at dusk — so much delicious food!
• Scenic drives through the Atlas Mountains, complete with feeding wild monkeys on the roadside
• Coffee stop and tour at Sir Richard Branson’s incredible Kasbah Tamadot property in the mountains
• Witnessing a massive, emotional national celebration in Marrakesh as the territory of Western Sahara officially became a part of

This probably was our favorite hotel. In the heart of the Marrakesh medina, this hotel's tile work and furnishings were amazing and our room was so beautifully done it made us feel like we were in a room at a palace. We were a little skeptical as we rode down the lane to get to the hotel as it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere. However, the minute the front door opened we were enchanted! It was a true oasis with flowers and vines surrounding a lovely large courtyard and beautiful rooms. The rooftop had a Hammam and BOY DID WE LOVE THAT! We ate dinner there and it was wonderful, as was the breakfast. A truly delightful place to stay in Ouazazate.

This adventure was one of the highlights of our trip. From the camel ride at sunset in the sand dunes to our luxury tent to the delicious meal and the exuberant Berber drum circle - it was all perfect! Thank you to the manager Hassan for spending time chatting with us and outlining some of the Berber traditions and cultural highlights. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Totally amazing experience! The location of the Saraha Sky Luxury Camp is absolutely perfect as it is set within the spectacular sand dunes. The camel ride was so fun, and we really didn't think we would like that part. The camel guide was charming and knew all the photos to catch in order to capture the beauty of the sunset. The camp itself had really nice tents with super comfy beds. Dinner and breakfast are served and the staff does a Berber drum circle after dinner around a camp fire. An absolutely wonderful place and experience.

We did get an excellent overview of Taiwan and learned a lot about it. The mountain resort was amazing and the nature very beautiful. The infrastructure of the island is excellent by all means. The Japanese Heritage is surprising. Also suprising is, that there are not more really historical sites to see.

Nikola put together the most amazing trip to Croatia for our family. Every detail was outstanding: the hotels, the terrific guides, the drivers, the tips for restaurants and additional sightseeing. We loved every aspect and can't wait to work with Nikola again on a future vacation (Venice?) His daily communications and incredibly delightful way of interacting also added to the experience. Thanks Nikola - you really are the best!

We did not have a guide in Rabat, which we found out once we were in Rabat.
Our driver Mohammed was great. He was always on time. He was courteous and always enquired if I was getting car sick. The vehicle was clean. He invited to his home for Friday lunch couscous., which was very kind and welcoming.
