Our time in Iceland was fantastic. A lot of the thanks goes to KIMKIM for setting every up for us. We tried to set up our Iceland trip ourselves and it was overwhelming. The itinerary for our trip was great we never felt rushed. Our hotel accommodations were very pleasant and we were very happy with them. The suggestions on where to eat were appreciated, we did eat at quite a few of the recommended places. We were set up with a WI-FI HOTSPOT to use so we were always able to research things as we were going. Having the hot spot also meant our navigation was spot on and we were able to drive around with ease. Our pre-planned trip was extremely enjoyable. Iceland is a beautiful country to visit. Everyday was like being in a post card.

We are a family of four (two adults and a teenage boy and girl) and all of us had an amazing time during our stay in Morocco, thanks to the thoughtful itinerary Maryem put together and everyone involved in making us feel so welcome. Ismail, our driver, deserves special mention: he made us feel safe on every journey, shared wonderful insights along the way, and was always thoughtful about the family's comfort, whether making quick stops or offering guidance on the best places to eat and shop.

One of the highlights of the trip was our cooking class. The preparation was outstanding, the family who hosted us was so welcoming, the food was delicious, and the dining room setting was stunning. We spent a beautiful afternoon sharing stories and learning together over a wonderful meal.

Our camping stay in the Agafay desert was stunning and exactly the right change of pace after a couple of lively days in Marrakech. And our time in Essaouira offered a perfect retreat of sea, sand, and culture at a more relaxed rhythm. Ismail's recommendations there were excellent, and we loved strolling along the beach each evening on our way back to the Riad.

The accommodations Maryem selected were wonderful — beautiful, clean, and perfectly sized for the whole family. Breakfast at every hotel and Riad was delicious and the perfect start to each day.

In short, our five days in Morocco were truly unforgettable. The locations, accommodations, activities, and people who made it all possible were absolute top class, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to this incredible part of the world.

I'll definitely trust Kim Kim again for future travels — whether back to Morocco or elsewhere. Thank you!

Everything was wonderful! We especially loved the guides - Katrina and Kristina. They were so nice and knowledgeable. Katrina (in Bergen) had a great list of restaurants, and we really loved the lunch spot, but the one we checked out for dinner sort of "shooed" us away. Maybe they were having a private event. It was a Norwegian restaurant with a hunting vibe. I don't remember the name of the restaurant.

The hotel in Bergen was so worth it! We hung out in the great lobby, and the bartender, Anders, was so friendly! We even checked out the sauna in the basement - my girls have never checked out the sauna.

The towns we visited were wonderful! Ålesund was beautiful and we enjoyed their art museum. The Art Nouveau buildings were fantastic! Thanks to your local contact here, we arranged to stay an extra day because we missed the Fjord boat - poor planning on our part. Geirangerfjord was so worth it - even though we had to buy another trip and another hotel night. Loved every minute of it!

I could probably have done without the giant Jet ski ride - would rather have kayaked. The guide though was a good driver and very friendly. I would add that the tourists in Alesund along with the locals did stare a lot at my daughter - she's from New York and an alternative dresser! - but I did read on Reddit that the smaller towns have a "staring problem", haha.

Oslo was a great city - enjoyed the Munch museum so much! (Nobody stared either) I think it is my new favorite museum! Kristina steered us to a less-traveled part of the main drag, and we found an amazing Italian restaurant. It was fun being there during the World Cup as well! We captured some amazing photos - both my daughters are wonderful photographers. I'll try to send you a link to my album!

We had booked a 2 week trip to Jopan in June/July 2026. . We enjoyed the trips with the guides Ayumi San ( trip to Nikko ), Sunny San ( Kyoto ) , Yoshido San ( Nara and Osaka ) and Mayumi San ( Hiroshima) providing much needed background information on the place so we could get a broader perspective and have a richer experience.
A special thanks to Sandy who worked with us patiently, built and implemented an itinerary which worked for us. The accommodation, connectivity with trains and personal transports made the trip enjoyable so we could look forward to the places rather than logistics.

My weeklong trip to Croatia with two friends was spectacular! Everything about Croatia far exceeded our expectations and this was largely due to, Laurent, our KimKim travel agent. We were based in Split and spent several days touring the island of Korcula, as well as traveling to the Cetina river for an epic rafting adventure. We biked around Korcula, visited a local winery, and spent the day on Mjlet Island riding bikes around the stunning lake. Mjlet National Park is one of the most beautiful spots I've ever seen. Laurent made every aspect of our trip easy and stress free. From arranging all of the transportation logistics, making dinner reservations at delicious restaurants, booking us in amazing boutique hotels, arranging all of our activities, and being available to help us 24/7, Laurent was a true gift. I cannot say enough about what a fabulous experience we had with the KimKim team. Thank you for making our holiday so special!

We traveled with my mother-in-law (74) and daughter (8) and each activity was tailored to the group perfectly. We worked with kimkim and Claire to plan our honeymoon in Ireland. Kimkim made the process easy, I appreciated the questionnaire at the start of the process to get a better idea of our wants for the trip and I am glad we got to connect with a local specialist. Claire was lovely to work with, she was readily available for planning and she listened to our vision for our honeymoon. She provided an amazing itinerary within our target budget. When we were on the trip, we had no issues with any of the bookings/reservations that were made by Claire. We had some slight difficulties on our trip (due to no fault of kimkim or Claire) and we were able to use the on-call number for assistance and we received great support. Since we did a road trip, our itinerary felt pretty full but still had plenty of room for seeing things on a whim. I was hesitant to use a travel agency but I am so glad I did! I will definitely use kimkim again in the future. Our favorite parts of our honeymoon were horseback riding in Dingle and kayaking in Killarney. We loved that our trip was adventurous and Claire really understood our vision.

We loved this hotel! We had an amazing room, I have never seen a room like it. We loved the property so much that we spent the entire day lounging in our room or walking around the property. There are two restaurants on site and a cafe/pub. We loved that we were able to order room service for breakfast and dinner and did this twice. There is also a spa on site but they were booked full so we could not use it.

This hotel was lovely! There was a castle on site and it and it had a fantastic restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The property was well-maintained and the rooms had an antique charm. We only stayed here for one night, but would have loved to stay longer. The only downside was that it was about 10 minutes drive from Doolin so we had to drive into town for food, shopping, and other excursions.

Horse Riding trek in Dingle Peninsula

The horseback riding was one of our favorite parts of the trip! We were a little nervous since the photos show people galloping on the beach. We have both ridden horses before, but were not comfortable with a ride like that. The horses were well-trained and calm. We had a peaceful ride through the mountains with amazing views. We enjoyed our guide and he gave us great recommendations for food in Dingle!

Doolin Cliff Walk experience

We loved this experience! Our guide, Murph, was very informative and taught us a lot about the Cliffs and Irish history. I was worried about being able to walk for 4 hours but the pacing was perfect and accessible for people of many different fitness levels. Because we were part of this tour group, we also got special access to private property for the iconic view of the Cliffs. There is only one other tour group that has this access.

I took my 3 kids on the trip age, 18,16 and 14. They absolutely loved it. We went for 18 days, started in Hanoi and ended up in Saigon. We had plans almost everyday booked through Trang. Everyday was new and it seemed like everyday was better than the last. I have done 2 trips with KimKim, the other to Costa Rica and they were both brilliant. The kids enjoyed Vietnam more as it was more culturally interesting. Having the tours booked everyday , usually for about 5 hours and having the meal, breakfast and lunch included made it very easy. Otherwise i would have to be trying to book it all myself and it would ruin the trip and also the amount of logistics is staggering. The transportation was great and we had our private van everyday with driver. The country is long so sometimes we would be in the van for 1.5 hours each way but the kids enjoyed it as they listened to music, watched videos etc. I have to say Trang was excellent, There werent any issues, she came to meet us the first day and brought us welcome to Vietnam gifts. There was no standout place as they were all stand out. I highly recommend Vietnam and Trang as she was incredible. Thank you again KimKIm

Day one was great to keep moving…our tour with Deliane was great, it did not match the description at all but what she covered we loved, my daughter especially since they have similar interest…she was a lovely lady and really knows her history, especially detailing Dickens. The Tea at Savoy was wonderful, we were somewhat Zombies by then, but it was amazing.

Day2
Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey were both amazing and worthy of the visits. St James Park was good. We saw a lot of it with Deliane on day 1

Day3
St Paul Cathedral was magnificent. A fair warning of the climb to the top might be good for those not in any type of physical shape, we were all winded and legs burning but we enjoyed immensely, Borough Market….OH YEAH! The chocolate Strawberries definitely worth the time. The Tower of London was beautiful and only started our beefeater tour when a young girl passed out from heat and dehydration. My wife is a nurse and provided aide. For my wife’s heroic actions and help, they invited us back that evening for a 700 year tradition. It was amazing and unbelievable that every night for 700 years, this ceremony is carried outs! We never actually finished our guided tour due to fainting distraction but that led us to something very special in the retiring of the keys ceremony.

British Museum…I want to be positive here, but we didn’t really see any British History and that was what we were looking for…it was extremely crowded and amazingly Hot inside…we couldn’t handle the heat and left early for the shopping between Oxford Street and Harrods. The day was saved and we enjoyed ourselves. Can’t give a good recommendation for the British Museum

Day5. The tour of Parliament and Westminster Palace was our favorite, it is unfortunate that we could not have the guided tour, but understand staffing. This was everything to my daughter as her University Major is Public Policy and Leadership which fits right into Parliament. We did not go to the Tate museum so I cannot rate it. We instead went to the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square…it was great! We loved it and would recommend.

Day 6. Notting hill and all the markets were great….we asked to go ona Saturday and it didn’t disappoint with merchandise and crowd. Hot and tired after many hours in the markets, we did not venture to Little Venice.

Overall we truly enjoyed our itinerary ! Thank you. We love a structured environment as a family, so this worked well. Everyone has different tastes, but if you wanted to include possible recommendations for food at the conclusion of the day, I am sure it would be appreciated by your clients in the future. We found ourselves looking around and wasting a lot of time to find dinner at the end of the day, but managed to find many different types of cuisine.

Finally a shout out to Aleksandra for her communication during the building of the itinerary, she was awesome and during the actual holiday, she was always a message away and willing to go the extra mile got what we needed.

We just returned from a 12-day family trip to Vietnam planned through Realistic Asia/Kimkim, and it exceeded every expectation. From beginning to end, everything was seamless, thoughtfully organized, and executed flawlessly. The itinerary struck the perfect balance of culture, history, adventure, relaxation, luxury, and authentic local experiences. Every destination felt completely different from the energy of Hanoi, to the breathtaking landscapes of Ninh Binh, the serenity of Lan Ha Bay, the beaches of Da Nang, and the charm of Hoi An. We genuinely loved every single activity and never once felt like there was anything we would have changed.

One of the highlights was the people. We had two different drivers and three different tour guides throughout the trip. Each had a unique personality and guiding style, yet every one of them was warm, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing Vietnam with us. They didn’t simply take us from place to place, they brought the country’s history, culture, traditions, and daily life to life in a way that made the trip incredibly meaningful.

The logistics were equally impressive. Every transfer, hotel check-in, activity, and timing was perfectly coordinated, allowing us to simply enjoy ourselves without ever worrying about the details. Traveling with children can sometimes add complexity, but everything was handled with such care that the trip felt effortless.

The person who truly made this experience exceptional, however, was Hien. From the very beginning of the planning process, throughout our travels, and even after we returned home, Hien was nothing short of extraordinary. She was unbelievably responsive, proactive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead of any question or need we had. It genuinely felt like having a trusted friend in Vietnam available whenever we needed assistance. That level of service is incredibly rare and is one of the biggest reasons this trip was so enjoyable.

We’ve traveled extensively around the world, and this was one of the best organized trips we’ve ever taken. We would recommend Realistic Asia, Kimkim, and especially Hien without hesitation to anyone considering Vietnam or Southeast Asia. We will absolutely be using Hien and KimKim again for future travels, and we couldn’t be more grateful for such a memorable experience. Five stars simply doesn’t feel like enough!

I did not know exactly what I had hired until I got on the trip and I was supported through every part of the process. I appreciated the private guides in Bangkok and Chiang Mai (Giftsy and Timmy). They were incredible throughout my time in both cities and allowed for flexibility in our tours. It was so personalized to what we wanted to do and how much time we wanted to spend. Day was the true MVP of this process and helped us navigate changes in our schedule and clarify anything that was needed. He would respond within minutes to any of my requests. It was incredible. I would have probably liked more private tours when I was in Phuket versus the small group tour I took to Phi Phi Island. I did not request this so it was not the fault of anyone at Kim Kim. The work of the Kim Kim staff made it so I could just enjoy my vacation and not worry about what was next. It was seamless and effortless and overall wonderful!

Beautiful hotel but also aging somewhat. The breakfast in the morning was not great and one morning despite it starting at 7, no one was available to do eggs or coffee for about 25 minutes and it took them 45 minutes to make pancakes. It was frustrating because there were limited other options to eat for breakfast and we had an excursion.

The Tuk Tuk ride was nice but the description of this event does not match what we did. It sounded like we would be getting small tastes all over the city and we went to one noodle restaurant and had one street vendor food and that's it. I asked about going to a roof top bar but was told that wasn't apart of it. I did get to go to a hidden bar which was cool but it was not included.

We were picked up very early and then did not get on the speedboat until over 2 hours after we arrived and it was not clear that we would be sitting around. I would have liked to just stay at my resort and enjoy the amenities there. They then go into a sales pitch of all these things you can do but have to spend extra money on which was frustrating but they scare you into thinking that you have to but water shoes and hats and they only accept cash so that was also frustrating. It was a pretty rushed experience and crowded with all the other participants. I would have liked to do this privately.

I think I was spoiled by the private activities and this was a larger group. It made it so we ended up in a not great spot in the boat. No one was good about sharing the space. I would have liked to be more private or been allowed shift around to see things on the boat. We got soaked sitting in the back. Food was a bit cold on the floating restaurant but tasty!

We really enjoyed our entire trip, including little things like inner courtyard rooms in Vienna vs outside room (much quieter), curated tours (touring a cheese making farm with our family only-which meant interacting with the owner/farmer himself vs a tour guide), and access to Sara for a few specialized items (she expertly directed us to a laundry service in Vienna). This was cancelled due to weather, but when we arrived to the lagoon it was sunny and low wind, other vendors were on the water. We were a little disspointed. Atleast we were offered a full refund without hassle

Overall our trip was wonderful in every way, we had just enough guided tours and just enough time to explore on our own. The TRIP PLAN app was a great way to keep track of everything scheduled, tickets and notifications of who and when we were to meet our guides.

Connecting your travelers with bus/metro/transit would be most helpful, we used these services A LOT in our travels and struggled with the initial source of finding websites/apps and ticket tips, please assist to Trip Plan.

Tickets to Sagrada Familia we on a Saturday and the site closes early. we barely had 30 minutes at the site, so we missed the crypt, museum, workshop and much of the side chapels in the building. Really disappointing as this was my #1 place I wanted to spend time in Barcelona
Montserrat visit was too short, our guide was great.....starting earlier to allow for time to walk/hike would be great

Zaragoza ghost town visit was all in spanish our guide did his best to translate. There was an option for an app to use personal headphones on our phones in english, but we didn't know to bring them

We didn't get any help directing use to resources for tickets to balcony viewing of the running or the bulls, bullfights or suggestions. We managed from here but....

The experience was not great - there were many errors during all stages of the trip from planning to the actual days. Details were not provided properly and pricing was way above market. The guides were mediocre but nice. The transport vehicles were not up to the class they should be for the price we paid. The meal stops were not very nice.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent solo tour of Croatia. Overall, I had a fantastic experience.

My tour guide, Laurent, was incredibly well-informed and always available via WhatsApp whenever I had questions or needed assistance. The trip was exceptionally well-organized, and the excursions at each location featured knowledgeable local guides. Additionally, the 3- and 4-star hotels were very nice and situated in excellent locations in every city.

My only complaint is that none of my hotel rooms had a good view. I almost always request an ocean, sea, or water view when on vacation, and I was surprised this was not noted for the tour. However, this is a minor issue that I will be sure to emphasize for my next trip, as I adored Croatia and will definitely book with Kimkim again.

Day Tour to Krka National Park & Šibenik

If you are planning to visit Plitvice, then I recommend skipping this tour. The guide and the drive to Krka park was wonderful. But as a waterfall park it's redundant to visit Krka if you are planning to visit Plitvice. However, the swimming time after the visit to the park was fabulous! A tour to a beautiful swimming beach would have sufficed for me.
