Our Morocco trip was an amazing experience overall! The hotels were generally good, and the excursions were absolutely incredible. We got to see so much of Morocco and learn about its beautiful history and culture.
A special shout-out to Samir, our driver, who was truly amazing. He made sure we were safe throughout the trip, was professional and friendly, and provided us with so much interesting historical information about Morocco. He really went above and beyond to make our journey enjoyable.
Thank you also to Said for being so accommodating when we needed to make changes to our itinerary. His flexibility and willingness to work with us were greatly appreciated.
The one major disappointment was Hotel Le Medina Essaouira. In my opinion, it is absolutely not a luxury hotel and did not meet the standard we expected. The experience was so disappointing that I had to pay for another hotel because the accommodations were unacceptable.
Overall, Morocco was a beautiful destination with amazing excursions, wonderful experiences, and great people. I would definitely recommend the trip, but I would strongly suggest choosing a different hotel in Essaouira.

What an amazing experience it was to stay in the desert! This hotel was truly wonderful, with delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding staff who made our stay even more special. The outdoor space was absolutely magical and created such a unique atmosphere. Most importantly, the live music during dinner was incredible. Unfortunately, this was not my favorite hotel experience. The hotel did not feel like a luxury property, and there were several issues that made the stay disappointing. There was loud construction noise outside, which made it difficult to relax. I also had to wait a long time for my room to be ready, and when I finally arrived, the room was still being cleaned. Unfortunately, the room was not fully stocked with the necessary items either. The food was also not very impressive and did not meet my expectations. The room was very stuffy and smelly. Overall, I expected a much higher level of service and comfort from a hotel presented as a luxury property. There is definitely room for improvement.

The hotel was clean and amazing We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special appreciation goes to the manager Ashmae ( sorry i spelling is wrong) who consistently checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. That level of personal attention really made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. The food was also excellent, with a great selection and delicious meals. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Morocco. We truly felt well taken care of from beginning to end!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with KimKim, and so much of that was thanks to our travel advisor, Lisa.

Lisa was incredibly helpful throughout our trip. She expertly organized our hotels, museum tickets, train travel, and private guides—including a fantastic guide who took us through the WWI battlefields. She was patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help whenever we had a question or needed something adjusted.

Everything was handled so smoothly, which made traveling through several cities and countries much less stressful and allowed us to simply enjoy our trip.

And the local guides she arranged were exceptional. Our guides in Brussels, Antwerp, Ypres, and Brugge were all top-notch—knowledgeable, engaging, and extremely informative. They added so much to our experience and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the history and culture of each place we visited.

We had a fantastic experience with Lisa and KimKim. Lisa went above and beyond, and she was such a pleasure to work with. She was so good that we can confidently say we will use KimKim again for our next adventure. Highly recommend!

Adam came up with a great plan. The hotels were excellent. We did a self driving tour and the stops and activities he set up were great. There were plenty of options to choose from to keep our group happy. Adam kept in contact and helped out with our trip every step of the way.

We spent 3 days in Tortuguero at Tortuga Lodge & Gardens. Our time there was amazing. All the guides are fantastic but Johnny was our favorite. The first night we went on a night walk at the hotel. We saw many frogs, spiders and bats. The next day we did the Laguna 4 with Johnny as our guide. We saw sloths, red macaws, an otter, crocodile, cayman, birds, butterflies and lizards. Johnny thought we were very lucky because we saw alot of animals. Our luck with seeing animals continued throughout our stay. You could watch green Macaws while enjoying the pool and howler monkeys playing right outside our room. We did two turtle nesting tours. The standard tour was great for seeing the turtles actively laying the eggs because the guide makes the chamber larger for visitor viewing. Our private playa 3 turtle nesting the next night was also incredible. We found 6 turtles on the beach in 2 hours. 2 of which we helped our guide study and tag them. We will absolutely return to tortugeuro with our kids in the future. I would highly recommend Tortuga Lodge & Gardens. For the next part of our trip we moved on to La Fortuna. We stayed at Montana de Fuego. The first morning we went on a bird watching hike and saw very few animals or birds. We did get to see the top of the volcano because the clouds cleared briefly, which can be rare to see. I would say overall the animal sighting at this hotel and La Fortuna is much less than Tortuguero. We went on a chocolate and coffee tour. It was a really good tour even in the pouring rain. La Fortuna/Arenal is full of adventure. We did zip lining and sky walk with Sky Adventures Arenal which was breath taking. We hiked around the volcano and visited the La Fortuna waterfall. Everything was beautiful! Montana de Fuego hotel was very nice. We enjoyed the hot springs and the large buffet style breakfast. The room here was much smaller than Tortuga lodge and the air conditioning constantly had to be adjusted. Overall, I would recommend Montana de Fuego.

The hotel is very nice. We stayed in a standard Bungalow. The room is on the smaller side. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning required frequent adjusting but kept the room cold once we finally figured out the right setting. We enjoyed the hot springs and large buffet breakfast every morning. All of our tour companies picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel . We had a really good stay and enjoyed all the adventure tours we had booked.

Tortuge Lodge is in a great location, it is directly across the river from the airport. Our Miss Evelyn Balcony Suite was spacious. Because our room was the last building of rooms we frequently had monkeys right outside of our room. The monkeys never came close and left anything we left on the balcony to dry alone. The hotel had one restaurant. It served all 3 meals. The food was good. We did wish that they rotated options on the menu by the end of our stay. The tours they offer and their excellent guides really make this place amazing. Tortuguero is amazing for wildlife! On the dusk hike at the hotel we say so many turtles, spider and bats. The laguna 4 tour was full of animals too. With Johnny we saw red macaws, clothes, crocodile, cayman, otter, butterflied, birds and lizards. All the guides were fantastic but Johnny was our favorite. He believed one or both of us were lucky because every tour we did was packed with animal sightings. Our main reason for traveling here was to see the sea turtles nesting. The standard nesting is great for actually seeing them lays eggs because the guide will make the chamber larger for better viewing. On our private playa 3 tour, we saw 6 turtles in 2 hours. We were able to help our guide study and tag 2 turtles that were nesting. We are very happy that we did both tours as they are very different experiences. We are looking forward to returning here with our kids in a couple of years

The water was too strong to allow swimming in the pool around the waterfall but people were swimming down stream from it were the current was less intense.

I absolutely cannot recommend this enough!!! In the 2 hours on the beach we found 6 turtles. 2 were nesting and we were able to help study and tag them. We learned so much from our guide. On the hike out to the beach you can use a flash light to get to the beach. Once on the beach no light is used. the guides are amazing at locating the turtles in the dark. They taught us so much.

Moonlit Nesting: An Authentic Wildlife Wonder in Tortuguero (Tortuga Lodge)

You are taken to the beach and sat under a pavilion until your guide is notified of a turtle you are assigned to on the beach. once you get assigned a turtle, the guide goes back and forth until the turtle is actively laying eggs. Once they are actively laying you are moved to the turtle and groups of 10 rotate through. we had 4 total groups we shared a turtle with . the guide makes the laying chamber larger so that the laying is visible to the entire group once behind the turtle. Very cool to see and the reason we came to tortuguero

This was the first time that I let someone else organize a trip for me and Olman did a great job. The itinerary was easy to follow and everything went exactly as planned. I enjoyed a trip full of fun, mostly outdoor activities with my family.

We took our granddaughter to Greece for her 16th birthday! We had used kimkim last year for a trip to the Lofoten Islands for her brother's 16th. Their service is impeccable from the initial planning to helping you when you are abroad. You work with agents who have traveled extensively to the places you are planning to visit and they tailor the trip to the needs of the group. Our trip took us to Athens, Nafplio, Paros and Santorini. Nafplio was a total surprise and probably one of our favorite places. We had our best meal there and had a fabulous guided kayak and snorkel trip with George. It was the first capital of Greece and the old town is totally charming with great restaurants and shops and not crowded with tourists. The catamaran cruise in Paros was also a highlight especially for our granddaughter. She loved the stop where she could jump off a 30 foot cliff into the water. The grands loved taking the pictures and also swimming in the crystal blue water. Santorini sunsets are amazing and we could go on and on. If we ever had a problem or were worried about a driver being late, we just texted and had an answer in less than a minute. Thank you for making the entire vacation so seamless.

Kayak & Snorkel Adventure in the Sunken City of Epidaurus

George was amazing! We loved being on the water and we loved snorkeling over the sunken city. I have to admit that I thought the sunken city was going to be huge, but it's not. You get up close and personal to the old jugs and walls of the city. George and Lucy (his dog who kayaks with you) made the whole day!

I cannot express the amount of ease and comfort we had with our trip to Crete. Effie listened to everything I requested and stayed in my budget. The hotels she chose were absolute perfection. A big shout out to the team over at SanSal in Chania, what a great place to stay! Every driver we had provided so much additional knowledge to our journey. Bill made the drive to Elafonisi beach an absolute highlight of our trip - so much care and comfort went into making sure we had a good time and the conversation along the way was a once in a lifetime, that is probably the most standout day among many stand out days. Kimkim rolled with some last minute schedule additions, some forgotten items at a hotel earlier in our trip, and they literally had our needs addressed before we even realized what we were going to need. We are at the stage in our lives that organizing a trip like this independently would add more tension and more stress during our vacation, having to navigate the tiny ancient streets and windy mountain and costal roads would have made the trip a point of contention and stress for us. Knowing that we had assistance when we needed it and safe and thoughtful tour groups and drivers was such a gift.

Janelle and the KimKim team provided an amazing experience for my parents. They were extremely satisfied with the accommodations, itinerary, drivers and guides.

The best part of the trip was my guide and my driver. Both were knowledgeable, pleasant, and extremely helpful. Lisa did a great job arranging the trip late in the season. The experiences she arranged were excellent. My only disappointment was the hotel at the beach. There was very poor air conditioning, the towels were AWFUL and the staff was not particularly helpful. While the location was great, I would not stay at that hotel again.

Amsterdam has a great public transport system.

Emerson is the best travel agent. He was wonderful at helping us plan our trip to Finland. His knowledge of the country and its environment is superlative. He was quick to understand our preferences and gave us great advice on where to go, how to get there, where to stay and what to do. He is patient and responds to questions and requests quickly — almost immediately — starting with my first communication with him and continuing through planning the trip and even during the trip, when he would check in with us just to see how we were doing.

Once, at about 10PM, we decided we needed a driver for early the next morning. I messaged Emerson. I heard from him 20 minutes later—he scheduled our driver!

He also booked wonderful guides for us, one of the best aspects of our trip—Jonna in Helsinki (she is a historian and seems to know everything about her city), Felipe for the Helsinki design district tour, and Emmi in Tampere. These guides were the best!

We hope to return to this beautiful part of the world. As I told Emerson, when we do — he will be the first to know!

Alicia put together a fantastic adventure for us - I can't sing enough praises. Lots of options, lots of brilliant suggestions, endlessly responsive to our questions and changes in plans. We had the most amazing week.

All of our transportation, travel and bookings went well. If anything, we could have done more on a day than what was planned or coordinated to make some trips more efficient.

From picking up the car to every stop on our itinerary, everything was well thought out and there were no issues with accommodation's which were all in great places. Even though it was cloudy for the eclipse, our trip was amazing! Hannah had our hotels and rental car booked and everything went smoothly with all the hotels and picking up the car. We stayed in Stykkishólmur for 3 nights at the Foss Hotel and saw amazing waterfalls, mountains, sheep, horses, beaches, cliffs, a lighthouse and lava field on one of our day trips. Hotel staff were great and they have a community cat who visits. We got to also explore the area around Fudir and Vik as we had great hotels in those towns too. Our hotels had a large spread for their continental breakfast. Horseback riding on the black sand beach in Vik was a highlight. The real surprise was being able to see Puffins on a walking path near Dyrhólaey. The culture and vibe of Iceland was amazing. Be prepared for a large hold to go on your credit card when you gas up. And you’ll need to pay for parking anywhere you stop that is not your hotel (waterfalls, beaches, cliffs). There are cameras everywhere, so budget a little extra for parking (versus getting a ticket). Also bring a cloth bag or two if you plan to shop at the grocery store. Restaurant food is expensive so snacks are a good thing to pack.

Gabriela did an amazing job creating the perfect vacation for our 41st wedding anniversary in South America. We requested a skiing and great food itinerary and she delivered! We started in Buenos Aires with a day to explore and a tango experience. In the morning, we flew to Ushuaia, also known as the end of the world, where we skied and had an awesome Fuegian dining experience at the Rincon Gourmet where Chef Ariel prepared us an incredible dinner for 2. The town of Ushuaia was great to explore with many culinary surprises. The skiing was great and the transportation was perfect.

From Ushuaia we flew to Bariloche where we skied for three days at Cerro Catedral, (thank you for the snow storm). We were treated to a very unique dinner with Lucas Mallmann. We participated and learned about fire cooking techniques on a chapa. The food was delicious.

We spent the remainder of the trip at Valle Nevado. The skiing was amazing and the hotel staff catered to our every need.

Kimkim was completely new to us and we didn't know what to expect, but we are SO glad we used this service. After spending a few hours on our own trying to figure out a reasonable travel itinerary for a 10-day trip to a country we knew nothing about, we figured there had to be a better way. Othman and the kimkim service was absolutely fantastic. Othman listened to our ideas and goals and was able to put together an itinerary that was full, exciting, logistically reasonable, and gave us flexibility to choose or skip suggested daily stops and things to see. Seeing everything laid out in the kimkim app ahead of our trip was such a relief - just knowing we had a complete travel plan in place allowed us to focus our pre-trip planning time on personal things - like pet care and packing. Then, within the first day of our trip, it really dawned on us how valuable this whole planned experience service really was. There simply was no way we would have figured out a travel plan like this on our own - one that made logistical sense and gave us so many opportunities to see amazing things. Was like have a daily guide and a smart road map in the palm of your hand, but also gave us just the right level of flexibility.
We saw dozens of spectacular waterfalls, got up close to glaciers on a zodiac boat ride, saw hundreds of Puffins up close on a coastal walk, explored a lava cave, enjoyed several lagoon hot springs, saw Atlantic salmon ascending a waterfall, explored the beautiful city of Reykjavik, and had amazing meals and experiences with locals. And if that wasn't enough, Othman put us in the perfect position on the southwest peninsula of Iceland for the 8/12/2026 full solar eclipse! An absolutely spectacular trip, and I highly recommend kimkim to anyone! Thank you Othman!

Kate was an excellent resource in planning our recent trip to the UK in August! We traveled all around Scotland and England. There were 11 people in our party and she did a great job at coordinating all the details and ensuring that all the key things that everyone wanted to do fit into our agenda. She was organized, very responsive to all my questions, provided great input and insights, and was available to answer questions during our trip. I highly recommend kimkim especially for large group travel planning. And, I especially recommend Kate. She was great!
