Over all our trip was amazing. Morocco is an exceptionally beautiful country both in natural beauty and artwork Majid always responded to me very quickly both in planning and during the trip. Highlights were our hike with Mohammad in Dades followed by lunch in his house, the trip to the Sahara desert and the Todra gorge. If I had realized how much time I would spend in the car I probably wouldn’t have booked this trip but almost all of the trip is done driving in stunning Mountain Views so totally worth it! Having a driver made everything so much easier although we wish he were more communicative. He changed the route without telling us so we didnt understand why we weren’t stopping at the places on our itinerary. He also would stop and we’d get out of the car and have no idea why we were stopping there. Once we thought we were a hurry so we spent less time on the stops only to get to our destination 2 1/2 hours early to wait for our camel ride Another disappointment was the e-bike ride we booked in the Todra gorge. Our hotel was a short ride to the gorge, we could have biked from the hotel but instead we were taken a half hour away There were no e-bikes and after about an hour into the ride in a very uninteresting garden of wheat fields I asked for the second time what about the gorge and he said it would be a 3 hour RT bike ride from there and way too hard without e-bikes. It was a wasted day. There’s a great hike in the gorge we would have preferred to do but it was too late in the day at that point. Another disappointment was that we booked the most expensive tour but noticed that although we were usually in wonderful hotels we were in the less expensive rooms, smaller rooms without terraces or fireplaces.

Each step of our trip was flawless! While traveling in a foreign country, KimKim made sure that everything was in place for us, from transit to/from the airport, to the delivery and pickup of our auto rental, to the hotels and activities! I would recommend KimKim to friends and family.

What a great trip.
It took a long time to get the trip right, but with the great help ofCami we got there, Cami was very patient as this was a special trip for myself and my wife, getting the balance right between having enough time in one place and getting the accommodation right all took time and Cami was very knowledgeable and helpful .
We spent the whole of February travelling the Philippines and hit was wonderful, saw so many places, great trips and excursions, all private as well which was great.
All pick up from hotels, airports, ferry terminals all went great and according to plan, not one thing what wrong which was amazing
Would defiantly use KimKim again and a big thank you and shout out to Cami.

Lorena did an amazing job communicating, being responsive and clear regarding our 8 day trip to Chile in February. Every single transport, accommodation and tour was really well done and reliable. We had weather issues in the Atacama that caused some reworking of itineraries and they were handled greatly. Shoutout to the Hotel Desertica who handled the numerous weather related power outages really well, even serving dinner by candlelight. Overall a great experience with Kimkim and its on to Morocco with them! Thanks again to Lorena and all supporting staff.

We had a wonderful vacation and all went smoothly. All of the tours and transportation were well planned with no issues.
Day 1 - Arrived in Sydney. Shangri-La Sydney is a wonderful hotel.
Day 2 - Chef Led Hunter Valley Gourmet Food and Wine tour was great. Jimmy owns/operates the tour and prepares food to pair with the wine. Highlight was going to the new Sydney Fish Market where Jimmy picked up fresh fish and oysters for our food later during the wine tour. The wineries and food were great.
Day 3 - Walking tour, Sydney Opera House tour, and Sydney Bridge Climb Summit. Craig led the walking tour and provided a wealth of information on the beginning of Sydney and concentrated on the botanical garden and how Sydney came about and significant events. The Opera house tour was very good and we were able to the wonderful architecture. It was raining during the Sydney Bridge Climb but rain coats were provided. It is not a hard climb and our tour guide, Nico, kept the group motivated for the climb. The guide has a transmitter and we had ear phones to hear him during the hike. We were drenched but enjoyed it.
Day 4 - Blue Mountain tour - It was raining and couldn't see much. Can't do anything about the weather. We did see another couple on our trip that went on the tour and they showed us pictures that looked awesome.
Day 5 - Travel to Cairns/Port Douglas - Ground transportation and flight went great.
Day 6 - ABC Reef Safaris - The snorkeling was wonderful. We spent about 1.5 hours at two different spots and were led in the water by ABC who also have Marine Biologists on the tour. We saw a Manta Ray which is very rare. The food supplied on the boat was great and plentiful.
Day 7 - Daintree Rain Forest and Nocturnal Tour - Another great tour led by our guide Nicki. We went out on a river boat looking for crocodiles and found a few along the shore. We saw a cassowary bird that is only found in Australia. We had dinner in the rain forest and able to try kangaroo. We did a nocturnal walking tour and spotted quite a few different animals/birds/frogs. Nicki was a great guide and loaded with information.
Day 8 - Bump Track Mountain Biking - This was canceled due to so much rain. The guide, Steve, for the bike ride was willing to do a different tour but the road was flooded. Steve was great to deal with and he was trying to give us a memorable tour but had to cancel.
Day 9 - Travel to Uluru/Ayers Rock with 4wd Mount Connor tour - No issue with ground/air transportation. We stayed at Sails in the Desert Resort and it was very nice. Mount Connor tour was very good but the highlight was having dinner with the cattle farm owner, Amy, where she explained the operation of the cattle ranch and growing up on a million acre cattle ranch.
Day 10 - Uluru/Ayers Rock tour - very good tour with history of the area learning the history of the aboriginal people. A net to cover your face is a must with the flies when it is hot out.
Day 11 - Transfer to Melbourne - No issue with ground/air transportation. Had a wonderful dinner at Hopscotch on Riverside Quay.
Day 12 - Yarra Valley Grazing Tour - We got on a bus from Go West Tours and Ashleigh was our guide/driver and was fun and very entertaining. We sampled wine, cheese, gin, and chocolate on the tour. Wonderful day with beautiful scenery.
Day 13 - Laneways of Melbourne - John was our tour guide and did a wonderful job explaining the history of the city and setting up lots and roadways. He was able to show us how the shops moved goods into the warehouses and the wonderful architecture that you would never see if you didn't know where to look for it. The public library was our last stop and a must see.
Day 14 - Great Ocean Road Tour - This was a tour with just the 4 of us in our group. Cory was our guide and did a great job explaining how the GOR was built by WW1 veterans to help them get over shell shock/ptsd. The coast was beautiful and stopped at a the 12 Apostes. (not really 12) We toured a wildlife sanctuary and spotted a couple of Koala Bears in the trees swaying in the breeze.
Day15-16 - travel back to Sydney and home to USA.

Overall, the trip was fantastic. The transportation within Australia was all planned by Vicky and we had no issues. Everything was planned very well and we loved all of the tours. Highly recommend Vicky!

We booked our Galapagos trip with Paola through KimKim. Itinerary was amazing! All of our guides, and naturalists were full of knowledge and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time.
Danny greeted us at the airport in Quito and guided us through the city. He knew exactly what we wanted to see and do.
In Santa Cruz our naturalist guide was full of knowledge on the history of the island, the turtles and the volcanic tunnels. We visited the Charles Darwin Centre and again he could answer any question we asked.
Next we travelled to Isabella Island-Diego, Julio and all the guides again were amazing. I highly recommend using KimKim and definitely will for my next adventure!!

At first, we were worrying about the length of this trip and the fact that it said 80% on land and 20% in water. But this was one of the most memorable excursions we did. Our guide Diego had years of experience doing this excursion. It was nice to snorkel at your own pace and someone always had an eye on us to ensure our safety.

Would have liked a hotel in Tromso that was a bit closer to city center, in part because walking in the city was a bit difficult with all the ice, and our activities all started from city center.

Kimkim's system for letting us know the time the driver would pick us up was hard to figure out at first. Two much technology -emails, what's app, kim kim website. Pick One! Unrelated - we had like a 12-15 passenger van, and there were only 2 of us . Kind of wasteful!

Michelle planned a fantastic trip! We loved New Zealand! Everyone has heard about the spectacular natural beauty - it is that and much more! In every corner of the country there are more awe inspiring views, fascinating microclimates to explore, gorgeous and well designed paths and treks (tracks), reserves and parks and open space, rural beauty with sheep - so many cute sheep! - and cows and horses, and rare protected species, - it makes your heart sing. What you may not know as much about are the people - their quality of life, the collective commitment to and appreciation of all the native flora and fauna . The steps they keep taking to more fully respect and integrate and honor the Maori. The pace is slow. People are patient, kind, easy going, generous. Your nervous system slows down. You realize it's possible to find a place where people live by different values and are proud of where they come from. Four 60-somethings, with two us celebrating our 70th. 3 weeks so we could see north and south islands. Our only regret - we should have planned a month. A few highlight places and excursions, thanks to Michelle. Milford sound. Stargazing in the hot springs of Lake Tekapo/Wanaka.. Farm and off-road tours. Hiking in Abel Tasman Natl Park and Mt. Cook. The Queenstown House B&B. Newton Heights B&B., visit to Flea Bay. The Te Papa Museum in Wellington. Te Karaka Lodge in Waikato. Kaikoura. And great food and wine everywhere. Thank you KimKIm, Michelle and the people of New Zealand for an uplifting adventure.

Kathrin did a great job for us! We really enjoyed our trip.

A few activities needed to be rescheduled because of weather, but the rescheduling process went very smoothly for the most part. One minor glitch was that the folks with the Milford Sound tour were trying to reach us because of a weather cancellation, but they did not have contact information for us so we did not find out about the cancellation until we went to check in for the activity. It would have been helpful to know about the cancellation earlier in the day so we could have make some other plans for that day.

A few of our favorite activities were Skydiving in Queenstown, the Fly/Cruise/Fly trip to Milford Sound, and the Glowworm evening activity in Rotorua.

Kateryna planned an amazing vacation in Scotland! She was super responsive at all times. She planned the trip according to all my must sees and helped me keep it within the budget I had planned. We had what could have been a disaster while on our flight to Scotland from the US our hotel canceled us for our first three nights. Kateryna had us rebooked into a new, and better, hotel and had our airport transfers adjusted before we even landed. I would recommend Kateryna to everyone I know and hope to plan a future trip with her some day.

I had the most amazing time in India,starting in Delhi,the guide Ganesh greeted me with a warm welcome and took me to meet my driver Brijesh who then drove us to my first hotel,he also stayed with me throughout my entire stay and was very polite,helpful and punctual,Dharmender is a truly passionate guide and showed me the Delhi sights over the next 2 days which are amazing.
In Agra with Ronit who is so knowledgeable,the guru of the Taj Mahal!, totally stunning architecture,so decorative and detailed,great at sunset too,thd most magical day,love my marble elephant and trinket box from the marble factory,so interesting to see all the items made from marble.
Greeted by Sanjay in Jaipur for Happy Holi celebrations,emmersed in a truly amazing lively atmosphere,had a grear time there with Sanjay and his friends,great music and outfit too.
Loved the Hawal Mahal and of course the shopping of shoes,bags and jewellery!
In Jodhpur Anish was very pround to show me around is home city, great clock tower and paintings around the city and an interesting tuk tuk ride! The hotel in Jodhpur was like an oasis in amongst all the hustle,the massage I had was wonderful!
In Udaipur Tej showed me to the evening folk dance show in whoch there was such talented people,the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, Divya was also full of facts about the city,very interesting.
Ganesh again met me in Delhi to fly back home, he was great getting me to the correct place for my onward journey and gave a great send off.
Aditya was there if I needed any infomation or help during my stay and always got back to me.
Ravi is great! always keeping me informed throught out my Indian journey from booking to arrival greeting,fabulous!

We loved everything about our recent trip to Portugal, which included stops in Lisbon, Porto, and Coimbra. KimKim was great, and Emily crafted an amazing trip for our family's vacation. The private guided food tour in Porto, the private guided e-bike tour in Porto along the river until it meets the sea, the private guided walk in the Alfama district of Lisbon, the private guided day trip to Fatima and Nazare, the private food tour of Lisbon, and the private guided tour of Sintra and nearby attractions were highlights of the trip -- everything was amazing! It must be said that the boutique hotels chosen for us were universally amazing, and in awesome locations! I loved how they use local brands and small hotels -- places we'd never know about if we were to do this on our own. And the private car transfers that KimKim arranged were universally perfect. All in all, an amazing first experience with KimKim. We're already planning our next trip with KimKim -- it's been an incredible experience. Thanks to Emily and her colleagues at KimKim!

A friend and I decided to take a last minute trip to Puerto Rico, and reached out to KimKim to help with the logistics, since neither of us had much time to manage it on our own. We had used KimKim previously and had a fantastic experience, so were eager to take advantage of their services again. Isabel was very pleasant, and clearly tried to be helpful. Our trip, however, didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped it would. We were given incorrect and contradictory information on several occasions, and had to do some major scrambling when we discovered that ferry tickets to Vieques (a key part of our trip) had not been booked. The places that Isabel recommended were lovely, but it seemed like we spent a lot of time trying to figure out when and where we were supposed to be.

Our major issue was with the digital layout of the itinerary. We both found it very difficult to navigate. For example, the addresses for hotels were not listed--you had to go to an embedded link to a digital map, which required that you have a GPS system. To be fair, this might have been because we chose not to use the KimKim app. I ALWAYS bring paper copies of any necessary info, as I have been to enough places that do not have reliable cell service. But I could find no easy way to download the digital itinerary (I might have missed it). So I was shuffling miscellaneous pieces of paper all week.

My takeaway is that we probably should not tried to book something as last minute as we did. I think Isabel did her best to create a cohesive itinerary for us, but we didn't take the important step of reviewing and fact-checking it to catch any potential disconnects until after we were already on our trip. A big lesson learned for us!

Kimkim helped to organize an amazing trip for us to Panama. Every guide and driver was punctual, warm, knowledgeable and made our trip both easier and more fulfilling. Special shout-outs to Julio, Juan Carlos, Roberto, and Mike! Our local specialist, Reyna, arranged unique and private tours for us of great venues and reserved lovely accommodations for us. She also went above and beyond to set up dinner reservations that I requested. Communication with the team was awesome throughout the process and every detail was attended to including homemade banana bread on our hike to The Lost Waterfalls. It will be hard to imagine travelling again in a country that is new to us and in which we don't speak the language without kimkim! The tour company lowered our stress considerably and enhanced our experience immeasureably.

Bocas Del Mar Hotel

The resort is pretty, clean, and provides a lovely oasis. It is a small, boutique establishment that is divinely serene. Even though it's on the water (a bay), there is not a sandy or swimmable beach. The 2 pools are pretty and refreshing and were quiet the days we were there. The dining area and meals are lovely. Our boating excursions were super fun and allowed for time on a white sand beach on a nearby uninhabited island, a tour of the mangroves, and views of monkeys and dolphins. Be prepared to wake up to the sound of howler monkeys at 6 am.

It's not so much authentic Panamanian character as it is character designed to appeal to well-to-do American and European tourists.

It is a very pretty location but remote if you don't have a car. There is another more casual hotel next door in walking distance (down a steep hill, then back up the other side) that has a good restaurant

The rooms are large, private and luxurious. The water in the shower is warm, not hot--but everything else felt super comfy and beautiful.

What a stunningly beautiful setting! The casitas are clean, spacious and private. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Yummy breakfast. It is about a 25 minute walk to downtown on steep hills. The walk there is downhill. We usually took a taxi back up the hill despite being in good shape.

The remoteness that makes the view amazing, also makes it a little harder to get to town. If you are good with walking steep hills or arranging a 5 minute taxi ride, it is well worth the serenity and exceptional care!

Cloud Forest Hike: The Waterfalls Trail

This is a somewhat challenging steadily steep hike--a much enjoyed workout with beautiful views. I'm 64 and in good shape. I decided not to go to the 3rd waterfall as we were told it can be more slippery and you need to hold ropes to come down.

Kimkim arranged for a private tour for us of the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal. This allowed us to move to the front of the line, to have a private guide who gave us history and explanations of the technology, and gave us access to stand right alongside the edge of the canal (vs. further back behind a gate).

This was a super fun and relaxing tour. There was a delightful breeze as the boat whizzed past tankers and cruise ships to explore the little islands in the middle of the canal. We saw monkeys and sloths up close.

It was so delightful in a foreign country where we didn't know our way around or speak the language to be picked up by friendly, courteous drivers and guides. We learned so much from our conversations that enhanced our trip!

We had such an amazing trip! All the accommodations were wonderful, but the Sunday Morning Resort and Northern Lights Ranch were especially great. We would return to Finland just to stay there again (as well as for the incredible nature and kind finnish people).
The private sauna experience was an especially nice touch, and we had a blast Snowmobiling, with done in Pyha at the lucky ranch nearby.
Thank you for a truly unforgettable trip, can't wait to go back!

The trip was great. Driver, Illyace, was terrific. Guides were great. My only suggestion for improvement would be more proactive engagement with the local planner. While I had done some reading, I didn’t have a full grasp of options around various cities. For example, Ali might have asked what we liked best when we travel, museums, historical sights, food, outdoor experiences etc.. the plannner could then make suggestions of things to do in each city/region.

Outside of that suggestion for improved planning, out trip was great. No logistical problems and quality services provided.

We had a terrific experience planning our trip through KimKim. Our agent, Leny, was fantastic to work with. She provided excellent hotel and travel suggestions and helped us design a wonderful itinerary. When we needed to make changes to our trip, she handled everything quickly and smoothly, which made the process stress-free.

One highlight was our stay at the FuFu resort in Hakone. It was absolutely amazing. The food and the onsen were 5 stars! The private driver and guide Lenu arranged were also delightful and made exploring easy and enjoyable.

We would definitely use KimKim again for future travel.
