Brief stay - not close to amenities or restaurants

Good hotel - helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, walking distance to old town and shopping

Perfect location to the beach and short walk from town, this hotel offered a lot of charm. We also enjoyed the pool and a wonderful morning breakfast.

A really nice and authentic experience with music and dinner. Food and atmosphere were great!

This hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from the canal for convenient water taxi transportation. It was close to excellent restaurants, yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. Our room featured large windows overlooking one of the few private gardens in the area, providing a beautiful and tranquil view.

Located in the heart of Florence, this hotel was spacious, clean, and perfectly situated for exploring the city. Being right next to the square was incredibly convenient, although it was a bit louder in the evening than I would have preferred. The breakfast room was fantastic, and the croissants were absolutely delicious—the perfect way to start each day.

Our room was quiet, clean, and centrally located, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

This tour was definitely helpful in understanding the rich history of Florence. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job bringing the city's history to life. The experience gave us a much deeper appreciation for Florence and its incredible cultural heritage.

It was clear that our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and well educated on the subject. She shared a wealth of fascinating information throughout the tour and even extended our time together to show us a few additional sites. My husband asked plenty of questions, and she answered every one with confidence and depth. Her expertise and enthusiasm made the experience both informative and enjoyable, and we left with a much greater appreciation for the history and culture.

Matteo was a fantastic guide and introduced us to a less touristy part of the city, where we were able to experience some of the region's most delicious and authentic foods. It was such a fun and flavorful experience and a wonderful way to explore neighborhoods we might never have discovered on our own. We also enjoyed meeting some of the local people who live and work in the area, which made the tour feel even more authentic. This was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip.

Throughout the tour, Andreas shared fascinating insights into the local culture and history at every stop. In Lucca, we learned about the village's rich past, visited the home associated with the story of Pinocchio, and explored the lively market square that was once an ancient Roman gladiatorial arena. We then enjoyed lunch and a wine tasting at Fattoria Enzo Carmignani, where our gracious hostess introduced us to several excellent white and red wines. It was a very different experience from the smaller, family-owned winery we had visited a few days earlier, giving us an appreciation for another side of Tuscany's wine culture. The day concluded in Pisa, which was the highlight of the tour. Andreas provided an in-depth history of the Leaning Tower, explaining both the era in which it was built and the remarkable engineering efforts that have preserved it over the centuries. His enthusiasm, expertise, and storytelling made this one of the highlights of our visit to Tuscany.

Elena was so engaging, friendly, and welcoming. She shared so much about the local culture and history, making the tour both informative and enjoyable. Burano was an absolute gem and was definitely the biggest surprise of our trip. As we traveled through the canals, Elena pointed out each of the islands we passed and was a wealth of knowledge about them. Her enthusiasm and expertise made this one of the highlights of our visit to Venice. The perfect ending of our week in Italy.

While Siena and San Gimignano were both amazing medieval villages to explore, the highlight of the day was our private winery tour and lunch with Martina and her family. The homemade food and Chianti were absolutely delicious, and the setting was breathtaking—like stepping into an Italian painting. It was a truly authentic and unforgettable experience that we will always remember.

We learned so much about the history of ancient Rome on this tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and engaging. Her passion for the subject made the experience even more enjoyable, and we came away with a much deeper appreciation for the history of Rome.

Cannot emphasize enough that this should be a highly recommended activity.

This is a wonderful hotel with excellent and helpful staff. The restaurant meal was delightful but suggest booking a table. Great musicians just outside the main dining room and when booking perhaps ask what tine the start. 5 Minute drive to the pier and beach.

About a 10-15 minute drive into Galway. Room was great with a very small bathroom. Host was excellent and informative including music, eating and sightseeing (and laundry). Good morning view. Excellent breakfast. Amazing garden.

Location is the best thing about this hotel - Right next to the visitor center and a short walk to the giants causeway. Service in the restaurant was quite slow. Room was comfortable and clean.

Exxcellent room, Location and Staff. Would happily stay there again. Note because of the location on St Stephans Green there is no parking and limited place to stop and drop off luggage. Parking is available in close by (10 minute walk) and subsidized. Vey helpful staff and good breakfast.

Wonderful location - outside town so quieter but within a 10 minute flat walk. Excellent facilities including an indoor pool and a play area for children. Great food and an excellent breakfast (best of the trip). Traditional music in the bar. Room had an great view. Note that this is a wedding venue as well so sometimes I expect that there will be louder music.

Used the big red bus to get around. To really visit you need a few days. Don't miss out on the visit to the Guiness Stonehouse tour

Fantastic place to wander around. Magnificent gardens. Very busy.

Great fun overall and learnt quite a bit about Irish music. Hosts were quite amusing.

Seeing the dog working a large group of sheep 200 yards away while the shepard was vocalizing the commands with a normal voice level was amazing. Sheep shearing was demonstrated. Got to feed and hold the lambs as well.

Weather was not very cooperative. Spent most of my time outside of the town. Visited Glenveagh National park which I highly recommend and then drove back roads to the Slieve League Cliffs. Unfortunately shrouded in mist. Irish friends recommended these over the Cliffs of Mohr as they are higher and far less crowde.

Connor was fantastic - took us to many places that were a bit off the beaten track especially as he knew I was interested in photography. Make sure he takes you to the restaurant that has Seafood chowder!

Dee was an excellent guide - funny, entertaining, a good singer, very informative. Gave me lots of tips about what I should see the following day.

I only give it a 4 out of five because the rooms that were booked did not exist. Alternatives were given and all worked out fine. Also: Hotel 3 Puntas Valle Nevado had the only night time bar/lounge and the noise was constant - however if the men were in the age group - all would have been fine and they learned to live with it.

No air conditioning, and no hot water. Beautiful and nice people but AC is a must.

Our family trip to Costa Rica was truly one we will never forget, and Casa Fantastica played such a special part in making it so meaningful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, relaxed, and cared for. Carlos and Sarah, the concierges on the property, were so helpful. The beauty of the home, the incredible views, and the peaceful surroundings gave us the perfect place to slow down and enjoy time together as a family. The cleaning staff, laundry staff and maintenance people were great and so attentive to our needs and requests. A huge part of what made our stay so memorable was Chef Sarah, and her assistant, Natalia. Sarah wasn't just an amazing chef, she became part of our experience. Her warmth, kindness, and attention to every detail made us feel like we were being cared for by a friend. Every meal was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. Sitting around the table sharing those meals became some of our favorite moments of the entire trip. Casa Fantastica gave our family the gift of unforgettable memories, laughter, connection, and time together that we will always treasure. We are so grateful for the hospitality and care that went into making our stay extraordinary. Costa Rica will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope to return to Casa Fantastica again someday.

This was a wonderful family activity. Sailing aboard a pirate ship in the ocean. What could be more fun. Brian on the staff made our time at sea an adventure and so much fun. We had a wonderful dinner and drinks. Took time out to enjoy the ocean snorkeling, or paddle boarding, or just lounging in the ocean with a pool noodle. We were also able to see dolphins swimming next to our boat. Highly recommend this experience.

Ciala was a beautiful place with many amenities. The staff were attentive and took good care of us.

Our room looked out over the lake. It was beautiful. There were baboons all over as well as hydrax on the lawns. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I woke up one morning with a kidney stone and there was a nurse on the property who helped me so much. It was an amazing experience.

This yurt type room was fun and felt like we were in the wilderness. There were monkeys in the trees that were fun to watch. It was beautiful. The staff were attentive and helpful. I could have spent days there.

It was beautiful. Zebra came up to the rail on our patio. Being able to look at the lake from our room was gorgeous.

Everyone attended to every need we could have possibly had. We especially enjoyed Maureen

I would have left this experience out. We have fed giraffes at our local zoos. They are beautiful animals and I didn’t realize there are different kinds. It was educational but again, I would have forgotten e this one.

When we got to the lake we thought we would be on a boat like a pontoon or equivalent. This boat was a rowboat with a motor. It ended up being such a great experience. Made us a bit nervous at first. Highly recommend it.

We really appreciated putting this in our schedule. Joseph was very accommodating of our wishes.

This was so fabulous. We saw so many different animals and had the unbelievable pleasure of seeing the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Our first experience with Safari. It was beautiful.

Wonderful cruise ship in the Galapagos. Comfortable rooms, excellent food, and great staff.

Em and Uncle Sherd were the best. We really enjoyed learning.

We were very pleasantly surprised that this visit to the Family Farm included a cooking class. We were served two locally made cheeses and bread, almonds, dried figs with some iced cherry juice (we don't drink alcohol, so didn't try the local wine). We then began our cooking class. We made a family recipe for chicken cooked with olive oil peaches, plums, onions, garlic, cherry juice, salt, pepper, rosemary and bay leaves. We toured their garden and picked up rosemary, bay laurel leaves, tomatoes, cucumbers, arugula, parsley and fennel. They grow their own limes and grapefruits, pomegranates, almonds, figs, olives and much more. Back in the kitchen, we learned to make a twirly pasta by hand, and a peach & plum topped cake. After that we ate the dinner we had prepared. It was truly delicious (including a chicken soup with carrots and farina dumplings).

Swimming in the Adriatic, especially the caves we swam into, was great.

Was under construction when we were there. Our room was pretty small but we still had a great stay. I believe the new lodges will be larger.

The rooms seemed slightly dated but the experience with the animals up close more than made up for it. I would gladly stay here again!

Would gladly stay here again. It was clean, check-in was easy, and the suites were huge. There was some noise from the nearby city but the hotel offered earplugs. Also very nice to have a washing machine in the suite!

This ended up not as sunrise but midday with lunch. Regardless, it was amazing! The food was incredible, the staff fantastic, and the drinks were flowing. It was a really relaxing experience nestled between game drives.

This was such a fun way to kick off our trip. Our guide, John, was incredible and we saw many animals due to his knowledge and skill.

Beautiful Riad in upscale and tranquil setting for dinner. Great service and good food. Was skeptical beforehand but was happy to have done it.

You have to include Ait Ben Haddou in your trip.

AMAZING. Make sure you buy a proper Moroccan desert scarf for practical reasons and to feel the authenticity of the experience.

Nice guide and shared lunch with in authentic setting in the Souk which was nice. However we felt like there was too much focus on taking us to different shops.

This hotel appears to be very chic and swanky. The rooms are very updated and feature a kitchen. Unfortunately, you could not lock the doors once in the room. I ended up putting our suitcases in front of the door to keep someone from coming in. They gave crazy directions about how to use an Icelandic lock but we stayed in several places that had plain old deadbolts. Would not recommend or stay there

This is a great hotel - best breakfast we had in Iceland too! Nice people and very comfortable room.

This experience is truly one of a kind in the world. If you like snorkeling, then you should definitely try this experience. There is no wildlife but the water, rock and depth of sight is amazing

We did see whales so that was the main goal. The person telling us about the things we were seeing was very good. The whales were pretty far away so it would not be an experience for someone who wanted to see whales closer up.
