Arion Athens Hotel is perfectly placed for a proper Athens experience. Set right in the heart of amazing cafés and restaurants, it feels authentically local while still being within easy reach of all the major historic sites. Despite the central location, it’s remarkably peaceful, we woke each morning to birds rather than traffic. Our room had lovely views of the Acropolis and overlooked a charming little church and courtyard, which added to the sense of place. The rollaway twin bed for our son worked perfectly, and breakfast each morning was just right to set us up for a full day of exploring. Comfortable, clean, and attentive. Exactly what you want from a city stay.

Klymeni Traditional Homes in Nafplio is the sort of place you book for a night or two and quietly wish you’d arranged your life around instead. Beautifully done, new, and extremely comfortable, we found ourselves spending most of our time simply relaxing there. The terraces offer stunning views, surrounded by orange trees, and the whole setting is wonderfully peaceful. When motivation strikes, it’s easy to call a taxi into town or have food delivered. The host was extremely helpful and always on hand. We could quite happily have moved in permanently!

Our Ardamis Traditional Guest House in Monemvasia was exactly what we'd hoped for and actually better than we expected. Historically historic, full of character, and set in a genuinely perfect location. The host provided remarkable care and attention, making everything feel effortless, comfortable and personal. Five stars, without hesitation.

The Nafplio eBike Adventure was a brilliant way to explore beyond the town itself. The bikes were excellent, high-quality, all properly sized, with helmets included. We were even picked up and dropped off at our accommodation. The e-bikes made the surrounding hills feel surprisingly effortless, opening up parts of Nafplio we’d never have reached otherwise. We rode to a historic monastery, up to the main fortress overlooking the town, and then down toward the coast, stopping for a thoughtful picnic of homemade food at a small cliffside church. It felt remote, peaceful, and rather special. Hurcules himself made the day. Warm, personable, and generous with his time, he shared stories about the town, his life, and his family that gave us a much deeper sense of place. Along the way, we even stopped to pick and eat fresh oranges straight from the trees. A memorable, beautifully paced day that combined just enough activity with plenty of moments to simply take it all in.

The Private Tour of the Villages of Mani was one of the most relaxed and enjoyable days of the trip. Kostas and Maria made it feel entirely unhurried, shaping the day around us rather than the other way round. We explored Gytheio, the Diros Caves, Areopoli, and finished in the beautiful seaside village of Limeni, each stop offering something different, but all equally memorable. The pace was perfect, giving us time to take it all in without ever feeling rushed. What stood out most was their generosity with time. Like the rest of our Greek experience, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with people who genuinely cared that we were enjoying ourselves.

The Private Tour of Monemvasia Castle with Wine Tasting was, without question, the standout of our entire trip. If one day captures our trip for us, it’s this one. Effi met us at the castle gate and guided us all the way to the top, sharing the history as we climbed. As a former archaeologist on the site, her connection to the place was so authentic, you simply couldn't take it from a book. On the way back down, she introduced us to friends who run a small shop along the main street, where we were treated to local wines, olive oil, and delicious food. They were generous, warm, and completely our people. The kind of experience you can’t plan for, but hope to stumble into. A truly special day, and one we’ll be talking about for a long time.

The Private Delphi Day Trip was a highlight of our time in Greece. We were picked up from our hotel and driven through some genuinely stunning scenery, our first real glimpse of the Greek countryside, which set the day off beautifully. Marcos, our driver, shared thoughtful insights into Greek culture and daily life along the way, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination. At Delphi, Theodore brought the site to life with a clear and engaging explanation of its history, all set against those extraordinary views. The day finished with a wonderful meal at a family-run restaurant overlooking the mountains and olive groves, simple, authentic, and exactly what we'd hoped for. Seamlessly organised, truly memorable, and a perfect intro to Greece beyond Athens.

The Ancient Athens Acropolis & Mythology Walk was a great way to experience the essentials. We joined a small English-speaking group and covered both the Acropolis and the lower town, which made for a well-paced introduction. Athena, our guide, was excellent, bringing the stories and myths to life in a way that kept everything engaging and memorable. The tour leaned more toward mythology than architecture, which worked well for the group, though I’d have personally enjoyed a bit more detail on construction and design. That said, it likely struck the right balance overall.

A bit disappointed in the room. No coffee maker, not always hot water. Ceiling fan very dusty. We didn’t spend much time in the room, so it was satisfactory.

So pretty! It was advertised as a place to see the volcano, but sadly, rain and fog obscured it. The restaurant meals were good. Their breakfast was amazing. Not a negative thing to say about the Lodging.

It was so good. Beautiful sunset, plenty of time to jump in the water and enjoy the ocean great dinner and drinks.

Because there was a miscommunication with the pick up time with the driver, we missed the tour. Requesting a refund. Except for this bump, everything was very smt

It was so good! Equipment was top notch. Exciting. Even as an 80 year old, I was able to experience the thrill of it Staff so good.

I learned a lot about herbs and organic gardening. Guide was so knowledgeable and shared much information with us. We collected many of the items found on farm. They were added to a sugar cane drink. Dinner was good. We cut up the items for our meals. Made corn tortillas. Fun

It was fun. Water was low on the river, so maybe not as exciting as other times of the year. But still worth it. Fresh fruit served to us in the middle of float and a good meal after was included

Spent the morning at Majorel Gardens, Yves St Laurant museum and the Berber museum. Highly recommend! Beautiful gardens and interesting museums all in one location. Spent the afternoon at our driver’s home. Priceless experience. Soufiane is now family! Much love to him and his wonderful family!

Our guide Mo (can’t be his real name) was very good! He knew everything and everyone. We called him “mayor”. He showed us the mosque, Bahia palace, and so much of the souls. Great experience. I would vote for Mo!

Our driver took us to a carpet place where high quality Berber rugs were made. Great suggestion. We purchased. Two rugs there.

Our guide Fatima was a wealth of information. She went above and beyond to make our tour special. Highly recommend this guide!!! The tour of the pottery/ mosaic place was awesome. So too was the tour of the tannery. Learned so much.

Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong is centrally located and has very friendly and professional staff, with excellent food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful location and it's fun to personally visit a historical set where many K dramas are filmed. The guide, Anna Kim, was very friendly and helpful.

Just steps away from the airport. Very nice breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and roomy.

Thos hotel is over the top! It is connected to the sports stadium which is unique. The rooms are almost futuristic with lighting and amenities. Great location in downtown.

Nice views of the mountains from most rooms. Nice buffet for meals and an ala carte Cafe as well. Since the hotel is in the natio al park there are no other restaurant options other than those at the hotel. Staff was exceptional.

Old building remodeled into a nice boutique hotel. Rooms were very nice. Bedroom was smallish but there was a nice sitting room as well. Very close to restaurants and the city.

Not too many hotels to choose from, but this one is nice. A little older, but you wouldn't know that by looking at the nicely appointed rooms.

Hotel is built on a hill. Very awkward routes to get to rooms including two elevator rides and a walk though the parking garage. There is a shuttle to town that is very responsive to requests, but personally I would have preferred staying closer to town.

Older hotel. Absolutely no human interaction as keys were left in the doors with a sign directing us to our rooms. Breakfast was just ingredients left in refrigerator for us to make our own breakfast.

What a find. One of our favorite stays on our trip. Staff was super friendly. Rooms are unique and very well appointed.

Sara was an excellent guide and was really good at ensuring we were at the Forum early (which wasn't quite as busy) and the Colisseum afterward. She was also really good at checking in with us regarding taking photos, resting, getting drinks, and keeping us on time. It's all amazing but more than you can see in the tour. We are putting the Forum back on our list for the next visit.

Due to some changes, we did the Basilica on our own and then the Vatican and Sistine Chapel with a guide. Roberta was knowledgable and really enthusiastic about everything. She was really good at explaining what we were going to see before we saw it and helping us understand historical themes. Basilica was amazing. We went to a small mass during our visit. The art is incredible. Just an amazing building.

I loved that we ate things that were not the normal things you have everywhere. My favorite was the cheese, meat, bruschetta at the first restaurant. All of the food was excellent and Marta was great at explaining everything and ensuring we were all organized and enjoying ourselves.

Giulia was our instructor and was so good at giving us information about buying the ingredients, the cooking techniques, etc. We also loved the family we shared the experience with. So much fun. One of my favorite things.

Claudius was our driver and was so fun and engaging. I loved that he pointed out things on the drive. The tour guides at each location were informative and we appreciated learning more about Chianti Classico wine. San Gimignano was incredible and we liked the loose schedule - we could walk around at our leisure.

Our guide was educated in historical architecture and gave us such a good understanding of the place and importance of the different areas.

Iguana crossing is a beautiful beach side hotel. It embodies everything exceptional about the Galápagos island. Sun, sea and of course wildlife. The staff there was very friendly and courteous and our room was very clean and overlooked the ocean.

We spent the most time at this hotel and it was a great experience. It was close to shops and the amazing pier on Santa Cruz and also had a beautiful rooftop restaurant.

Really didn’t spend a lot of time there. It was clean, restaurant was good and of course very convenient to airport.

Sasha lodge is truly incredible and we do sincerely appreciate Anthony for recommending it. From the moment you land there after a “journey” which is an adventure itself, you appreciate what it takes for Sasha to run so extraordinarily well. From the Manager, to the guides, to the Chef there is a tremendous pride as there should be. Of course, It is not the place to go if you want to do your own hiking etc. for obvious reasons but if you find their daily agenda appealing as we did then you will have a once in a lifetime experience.

Although we didn’t have a long stay here, this hotel was in a great location. It was modern and the food and view from the top floor was terrific. Hotel staff also very accommodating.

All transportation was efficient and organized. No issues at all.

This snorkeling tour was an excellent last day activity for us. The snorkeling was great as we saw sea lions, turtles, sharks and other colorful fish and my wife was very confident in herself and our guide. There is a big stair climb but we did it with no issues.

We were excited to spend another day with the Tortoises and we were not disappointed. However, I think our guide could have shared more with us about the place and its inhabitants. It seemed like other tours were getting that experience.

This was an amazing hike and a truly fascinating place. Although the hike was labeled as easy to moderate the terrain was relatively easy with a major uphill climb at the end.

This was one of only.two excursions that we thought could have been improved for all on board. While tintoreras is amazing we thought the snorkeling could have been improved for weaker snorkelers. While my wife and I were confident in the first snorkeling site there and saw some amazing things, there was more of an open water swim to the other site. Since the boat went over there anyway, we thought those (about a half dozen) that did not want to swim over there could have been transported over by boat there to continue their snorkeling.

Not our favorite activity but necessary to get from one island to the next. Luggage coordination on this ride and every ride was very efficient and helpful.

This was a great experience. The hiking was a great overview to Galápagos wildlife and the snorkeling that day was excellent.

We thought this was a great introduction to the Tortoises in a very relaxed environment. Lunch was also great. Cave experience was just Ok. Nothing special although we didn’t go all the way through as our guide thought it may have been wet.

No issues. Easy and timely.

We had anticipated finding the hotel shuttle on our own but as an extra step, people were waiting in the terminal to take us to shuttle. This is an extra touch that KimKim does and one of the reasons why I will use them again.

You need to go out the same way you came in which makes you appreciate the entire experience. No issues with transportation or flights.

On this day we visited an indigenous village which was very enjoyable. We sampled food and drink that they had made and learned more about their culture in a pretty isolated environment. Very positive experience for us and the group.

Day 2 was somewhat similar to day one in that there was a hike and a pretty major stair climb up a Kapok tree. There was also the Chocolate experience which was also interesting as we learned more about history and ingredients. Piranha fishing also added some fun for our group.

As I’ve already said the Sasha experience was excellent throughout. Day 1 was about a reasonable hike. Lots of stairs. Beautiful overlook bridges and bird watching. If cousins it was also about the beautiful jungle around you and the phenomenal meals waiting for you.

Javier was a great guide for our day in Quito. The Middle of the World exhibition was a little touristy but clearly no trip to Quito Ecuador would be complete without out it. The rest of our walk was very pleasant and our guide was both friendly and knowledgeable. The Chocolate tasting is really just that. Not really much history(a few pictures) but the rest of it was really about buying something at the store. I am a chocolate lover so worked about for me.

Odd concept hotel, made me think of a hostel.

Everything you come to expect from a modern hotel, the rooms were well equipped and very well set up.

There is not 1 thing we could point to as being wrong, it was not really to our taste.

Very nice room. Gave us the traditional experience,

Mary was a delight to visit with and she went through the areas we wanted very well.

So informative, even though we do not have the religion it was amazing to learn about it.

This was a lot of fun and we had fun shopping.

It is 5 start hotel, but by Shanghai level: in comparison to accomodations in other Chinese cities we have been to, it would be max 4: smallest room, min free amenities

The 2nd bed for our 11 years old was more like for 5 years old with some toy story themed. More importantly the toilet and shower were right in the room with little sound and changing privacy

This is the best hotel we stayed during our trip. Super modern, rooms were big, breakfast had best selection and not far away from main street
