The driver never met us in the airport when we arrived in Rome. That was disappointing, but we connected and got to our hotel. Giorgia booked us great hotels with local flavor and great locations. The small group tours were worth it to have an intimate tour. We took the Food Lover's Rome tour and Lily was an amazing tour guide. Colosseum and Vatican tour guides were great too. The Florence Tuscan Wine tour was excellent and the 3 wineries were the stars of the show. We ended our trip with a Sunset boat tour of Cinque Terre. It was fantastic.

Overall, amazing trip. We truly enjoyed the whole time we were there with Kotor, the Shala River, Alpeta Winery, and the incredible views of Kruje really standing out. All of our guides were incredible with Natasa in Kotor and the hosts at Alpeta Winery really leaving an impression on us with their knowledge and hospitality. All of the hotels were truly impressive with amazing views and all of the staff were very helpful, especially the hotel staff at Hotel Leon Coronato and Milo at Lake Valley. Looking back on the trip, there isn't a single thing that we would change, as the trip was truly top-notch.

Communications and response times were excellent with the Kim-Kim staff. They really helped us mold this amazing vacation. All transports, ferry, and plane travels were easy.

Tour guides were fantastic especially the Acropolis/Agora tour (Sept 8), the Crete tour with lunch (we learned so much history -Sept 11) and the Naxos tour (Sept 16). Loved the wine tasting (Sept 13) and boat excursion in Santorini (on Sept 14 - the captain and mate were exceptional)

Accommodations were great in Athens, Crete and especially Santorini. The accommodations in Naxos were OK - could have been a level up.

Our two week trip to Italy as planned for us by Andrea was fabulous. Every step of the way went as planned, with drivers and guides on time and where we expected them to be. Andrea was a pleasure to work with and after two zoom meetings, and many emails, he helped us plan the perfect trip. He was always available before and during the trip to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend him more highly. Our trip started with four days in Rome where we visited the usual sites along with The Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, Palace Gondolfo, and Basilica San Clemente along with a food tour. We then traveled by train to Naples where we stopped at a winery for lunch and wine tastng on our way to Pompeii. Our next stop was Sorrento where we stayed for two nights and spent one day on the Isle of Capri. Our driver then took us to Amalfi, stopping in Positano, and Ravello on the way - stunning views! After two nights in Amalfi we continued on to the southeast arriving in Matera, the city of caves. We can now say we slept in a cave as our hotel was built into the canyon wall! After Matera we traveled on to Alberolbello with its Trulli houses, Locorontondo with its white washed buildings and Ostuni, the white town on a hill. Each of these stops were unique in their own way and very interesting. Lunch and wine tasting at a local Masseria made us wish we had more time to spend there. We ended out trip in the east with a guided walk of Bari, where we observed Nona's make orecchiette pasta from scratch. A relaxing train ride took us back to Rome for our next day departure home. A truly memorable trip that could not have gone better.

She is incredibly responsive to questions and concerns and always provides additional suggestions tailored to your interests. We found Violaine to be not only extremely knowledgeable, but also reassuring and comforting throughout the planning process.

I was particularly nervous about driving in Albania and Montenegro, but Violaine gave me a very accurate picture of what to expect, which put my mind at ease. As it turned out, driving there was absolutely fine! I also really appreciated the estimated drive times between destinations, along with recommended stops along the way. This turned each transfer day into an opportunity to explore and enjoy the journey rather than simply getting from one place to another.

This is a family run hotel and winery. Each villa is a self sustained home. We had a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and covered front porch. At 6pm, the husband provides a wine tasting event in his winery. They also provide you with a complimentary bottle of their wine at checkin. The villa is very comfortable. We decided to hit the market and make our own dinner that night and eat on the porch. It was lovely. The breakfast is made to order and delivered to your front porch (which has a dining table). There is a menu and you let them know the night before what you would like and when. Super nice family.

Another centrally located hotel, makes walking a breeze. Thank goodness for the parking permit provided with the room. You park at a private lot about 5 minutes walk away; but honestly if you didn't have this there would be nowhere to park. I appreciated that lot! The room was less than desirable. Ours had a tiny high window that looked at a wall- thus it was dark. Even with all the lights turned on; it is a dark room. The walls are stone, which gives it the authentic flavor; but, it also provided spots for cobwebs and little critters. However - the breakfast was the best we had! And it just coming. This is a sit down breakfast where they just serve you platter after platter of items. We felt guilty that we simply could not eat it all. The reason to book this hotel is 1 - BREAKFAST and 2 - parking lot provided.

Another hotel with an amazing view + onsite parking. The rooms was very comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly. The restarant here is very good and quite popular. Reservations are a must - the first night we couldn't get it. But made sure to enjoy it our 2nd night. It is a special occasion place; most everyone dressed up for dinner here. The only down side - laundry service. Upon check in. I asked if they had laundry service which they confirmed and advised me to bring my laundry down. When I did, they escourted me into their laundry area and showed me how to use the machines. Obviously, a miscommunication. I thought I would pay for the service and have that time to explore town. Instead, I spent a couple of hours doing my own. Oh well - got clean laundry.

This hotel is located right at the base of the Castle - you can walk out the back gate by the pool, take a left and you are at the entrance. Take a right and follow it down the hill directly into the Old Bazaar area. The location couldn't be more perfect PLUS they have on site parking. The staff is super friendly and the view from the terrace overlooks the entire city and valley. We were lucky enough to have a double rainbow spanning the sky. The only reason it is not 5 star; is because the minisplit struggled to keep up. Thus it was a little warm.

This was such a personal, fun, and memorable experience! We were the only people booked that day, so it felt very special and personalized. Our teachers were two wonderful young men who made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We baked bread, made stuffed peppers, Berati beef, and a delicious custard dessert—all while joking, laughing, and listening to music. It felt less like a formal cooking class and more like spending time with friends who were sharing their food, culture, and traditions with us. Afterward, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor. And let me tell you—there was TOO MUCH food! Everything was delicious, and the whole experience was relaxed, authentic, and full of fun. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and an experience we will remember for a long time!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When we checked in, the staff member looked at our Teva sandals and told us they were appropriate for the tour. Shortly after starting, Sarah’s sandal broke, and our guide, Lionel, was clearly unhappy about it. We had already heard Lionel tell someone that he didn’t want to do this tour, and unfortunately, that attitude seemed to carry throughout our experience. He told us that our shoes were completely wrong, but we explained that the person who checked us in had specifically told us they were fine. How were we supposed to know otherwise? I asked if there was any possibility of pivoting to another activity, such as tubing, but he said no. To his credit, he did have an associate bring us river socks, but after that, he simply walked in front of the group. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of information or engagement. There was no explanation of the gorge, the surrounding environment, or anything else that would have made the experience interesting or educational. The entire tour felt boring, negative, and lacking in enthusiasm. Given the beautiful setting and potential for a great experience, we left feeling very disappointed.

Lucid and Audrey planned an amazing trip through the south of France. We were pleased very much with all the accommodation's. They were responsive and helpful!

This was our first time using Kimkim, and we found our travel planner, Coraima, to be delightful. She was very responsive and knowledgeable about the areas we wanted to visit.
However, we will not be using Kimkim again after being mislead about their markups ! In our first conversation, Coraima told us that they would pass through their costs from hotels, tours, transfer, and rental cars, and add a 9% fee. In the middle of our trip we were booked into very bad hotel rooms in San Sebastián and we asked Coraima for a detailed list of everything thing we were billed for and she quickly provided that list which showed each vendor and the 9% markup applied to the total. We then asked our hotel what Kimkim had paid for our rooms and found Kimkim had marked up the rooms by 100% in what they charged us !!!!
We have tried to get the prices paid by Kimkim for our other two hotels, and so far have not succeeded.

I would not recommend using Kimkim, but if you do, you should demand transparency for all their pricing.

This hotel has a nice location overlooking the bay at San Sebastián. Unfortunately we had the worst rooms in the hotel. They were on the first floor with no views and a patio that was tiny for 2 people. The patio was facing a 50 foot high rock wall about 5 feet from the patio door . It felt like we were at the bottom of an elevator shaft. The lobby and restaurant area were quite nice, and the front desk and restaurant staff were great !

Mathia was amazing to work with in planning/executing our trip. He is an excellent communicator and responded in a timely manner when we had questions or concerns.

There were minor scheduling things we would have done differently, but all in all it was a wonderful trip.

We had a great trip to Iceland in early September. Our specialist Gummi was wonderful; we could not have planned this trip so fast and so well without him. Overall, we liked every hotel and activity that he suggested. Every reservation was booked correctly and it was so easy to follow his directions and plans for the day.

After we booked, he helped us tweak our plans a bit more ... mostly to help us reduce the amount of driving. We did not do the whole Ring Road, but saw multiple areas from the peninsula to the east.

While we were on the trip, he alerted us to the Northern Lights on a certain day and gave us a last minute recommendation of another (!) waterfall to visit.

I would definitely recommend him!

Our trip was perfect, from beginning to end. Goumundar reached out to us by phone so we could communicate our interests and questions. We experienced Iceland with our amazing guide Bessi, who gave us an adventure of a lifetime!! Iceland is like no other place on earth! It’s spectacularly beautiful in all weather. We will no doubt return - maybe a winter visit!

I had not expected to enjoy this as much as I did. We were taken by minibus and we boarded a boat at Kekova. The day was spent viewing the underwater and above water ruins of Kekova Island and 5 swims in the aquamarine waters of the area. We also stopped at Simena Castle where people could climb to the top for spectacular views. We were also given a lovely lunch . All in all a great day!

We recently returned from an unforgettable two-week journey through Morocco with Morocco Immersions, and we came home with so many wonderful memories.
Nihad worked with us to create an itinerary that allowed us to experience so many different sides of Morocco—from Rabat and Fes to the Sahara Desert, the Dades Valley, Marrakech and Essaouira. We really appreciated the ability to personalize our trip and make adjustments so that the itinerary reflected what was most important to us.
A very special thank you goes to our driver, Rachid, who was with us throughout our journey. After spending nearly two weeks traveling together, Rachid became much more than simply our driver. He was kind, patient, dependable and always looking out for us. There were some very long driving days, yet he always made us feel comfortable and safe and never made us feel rushed. He answered our many questions, helped us along the way and shared pieces of everyday Moroccan life that we would never have experienced traveling on our own.
Some of our favorite memories happened along those drives—the changing landscapes, seeing the monkeys in the cedar forest, little stops along the way, conversations and even the music in the car. Those moments became part of the experience itself.
And what an experience it was! Walking through beautiful Fes, riding camels across the Sahara at sunset and spending the night in the desert, traveling through the mountains and valleys, cooking and sharing a meal with a local family, experiencing the energy of Marrakech, and ending our journey by the ocean in Essaouira. Morocco gave us so many moments we will never forget.
What we appreciated most was that this trip allowed us to experience more than just the sights. We learned about Morocco's history and culture, met wonderful people and had opportunities to experience everyday life and traditions along the way.
Thank you, Nihad, for putting together such a memorable journey, and a very heartfelt thank you to Rachid for taking such good care of us from beginning to end. Saying goodbye after traveling together for nearly two weeks was bittersweet.
Morocco is a beautiful and fascinating country, and we are very grateful to Morocco Immersions for helping us experience it. We returned home with wonderful stories, beautiful memories and a much deeper appreciation for Morocco and its people.

We had an incredible holiday in Vietnam, made even more special by the amazing people who looked after us along the way.

A huge thank you to Hien for the trip planning and ongoing support. Everything was so well organised and made the whole experience effortless.

Our Hanoi tours with Que were fantastic. We loved exploring the history, food and culture of the city with such a knowledgeable and passionate guide.

The e-bike tour was definitely a highlight! So much fun, and a huge thank you to Kevin, who came to our rescue at the last minute and helped us navigate the traffic! We loved the egg coffee experience, banana plantation and learning about the history of the B-52 Café.

Finally, our time on Orchid Cruises in Ha Long Bay was incredible. The scenery was breathtaking, but the crew really made the experience. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming, with a special mention to Steve, who was such a wonderful server.

A truly memorable trip from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Vietnam holiday so special!

Our guides were amazing and tours just the right group size. Lorenza was our tour guide at The Vatican, Lorenzo, Marco provides some amazing insights at The Colosseum in Rome, Lorenzo was our food tour guide in Florence, and Luca guided us through tue streets of Pompeii. We also enjoyed a boat tour of the Amalfi coast, led by Captain Antonio. I mention all their names because they were memorable and enthusiastic about their subjects.

Our hotels were perfect. Well-located to enjoy the sights and sounds of each city and within walking distance of major attractions and historic landmarks.

All transfers were easy and the drivers and livery were first class. Response to our questions via WhatsApp were promptly and professionally answered.The most impressive thing is that we opted for a budget-conscious getaway!

We would definitely recommend KimKim to others seeking a worry-free vacation!

Our driver/guide Youssef made it such an incredible experience. He was so wonderful about sharing his local expertise and went well out of his way to make our trip special. He was very professional and friendly and nicely matched our pace and interests. We would highly recommend him to other people taking a trip to Morocco!
Our favourite part of the trip was our days in the Sahara desert, where we had wonderful accommodations and great local and unique experiences with the communities there.

I'm providing this feedback on behalf of the whole group, not just mine.
Bruno was very responsive, and always responded to any inquiries/questions in a timely manner. He also quickly addressed some of the issues we brought up. We are grateful for every positive thing he did.
People in the group felt that the trip was a little too pricey. This thinking is based on information available on Kimkim website and feedback from other friends who had done similar trips to Brazil with Kimkim.
Philipe and the crew at the Amazon lodge did an excellent job for us (gave us great food). Fabion, our guide at Amazon did a great job, too. The initial vehicle going to the lodge was not that good (AC wasn't working for people in the back), but Philipe got that addressed for the remaining trips.
Edson at Iguazu was an excellent guide. However, members of the group were not happy when they realized that everyone was charged a lot more than the listed price for the Argentina side boat ride.
There were some flight delays that made people tired. I think members of the group expected a little more for the price (hotel choices, drinks. meals, etc.)
Overall the trip was great, weather was nice, and everyone thought it was a successful trip. Because of the few hiccups and the cost, members of the group didn't want to give 5 out of 5 rating - but, it was a positive experience overall!

Nadia and Salty travel did an amazing job of organizing our time in South Africa. Our time was well balanced between distinctly different African experiences that made the trip a true adventure. We will be back and we will certainly use Nadia for future travel needs.

Our guide in Oslo was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. She provided a very good overview of the history and places to visit. This was helpful when we spent our last full day there.
The hike outside of Stavanger was beautiful but too difficult for me. Unfortunately I held up the other people on the hike. The guide was very nice but not as helpful for me.
The food walking tour in Bergen was great! The guide was knowledgeable and a lot of fun!
We really enjoyed the cider tasting in Balestrand!! The ciders were great along with the food, and the guide was very quirky in an amusing sort of way. The orchard was so beautiful. Great fun!!
We loved the ferry ride up the fjord to the glacier. The guide was great!!
We particularly loved everything about Flam!! The hotel was a nice spacious break from smaller hotel rooms. Our guide for the kayak tour made the trip lovely. My absolute favorite part about the entire trip was the RIB excursion. It was surreal!! And the guide; he couldn’t have been better. I was a bit tentative about the zip line trip, but it was the most exhilarating one minute I’ve ever spent.
All in all the trip exceeded our expectations!

Heike, our cologne tour guide, went out of her way to specialize the tour for our interests. Martin taught us so much and we're inviting to learn from.
