Kim Kim and our agent Mathia recommended, organized and made all the arrangements for our ncredible Norway trip.
It was incredible value for a 5 star experience. It was the perfect mix of train and boat travel. Well paced but scheduled to maximize our 12 days with sufficient down time for relaxation and to explore on our own.
The boutique hotels were some of the best we have stayed at in Europe. All well located and unique. The guides for our personal citytours were exceptional.
All of the recommendations for the itinerary, activities and restaurants were perfect and allowed us to really experience Norway and everything it offers in its diverse geography, culture and history.
Particular highlights were the Flam Railway, Fijord Ferry cruises, Hurtigruten overnights and the City of Trondheim.
We have no hesitations in giving the highest recommendation to Mathia and his local Norwegian team and Kim Kim as the broker and platform for the easy arranging of such a wonderful custom self directed travel experience.

We absolutely loved our trip to Greece! Everything was planned so well, and we felt like there was the perfect balance between having things scheduled and still having plenty of flexibility to explore and do things on our own time. We never felt like there was too much planned or like we were being rushed, but we also always had something to look forward to.

All of the food recommendations and options were amazing, and we had so many great meals throughout the trip. The transfers were also extremely helpful and made getting from place to place so easy and stress-free, especially since we were traveling to multiple places.

Any time there was an issue or something came up, it was handled and solved very quickly. Everyone was always extremely helpful and accommodating, which made the whole trip feel so much less stressful.

We especially loved our hotel in Paros — it was incredible and definitely one of the highlights of the trip! Overall, everything felt very well thought out, and we loved being able to enjoy Greece without having to worry about all of the little details ourselves. We had such an amazing trip and would definitely recommend KimKim and will be using them again in our future adventures!

We really enjoyed our stay here overall! The hotel had a beautiful view of the caldera, and we really loved staying in Imerovigli. It was such a pretty area and a great location for our time in Santorini. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part, although there were a couple of things that could have been handled better. We were told that we were going to be moved to a different room, but that never ended up happening and we weren't really given an update about it. We were also told someone would come help us with our bags when leaving early in the morning, but no one ever came, so we ended up taking care of them ourselves which was difficult given the stairs you have to walk up. Neither of these things ruined our stay, but the communication and follow-through could have been a little better. Overall, we still really enjoyed the hotel, especially the beautiful caldera views and the location in Imerovigli!

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this hotel! It was absolutely gorgeous, in an amazing location, and by far our favorite hotel of the entire trip. Being so close to Naousa made it really easy and fun to go into town, but the hotel itself still felt relaxing and peaceful. The staff was INCREDIBLE. I truly cannot say enough good things about everyone who worked there. We arrived pretty early in the day, and they immediately worked on getting our room ready for us so we could check in early. They were so helpful throughout our entire stay and helped us book reservations at restaurants and beach clubs they recommended, while also giving us suggestions on what to do and see around Paros. Every recommendation they gave us was great! Our room was right next to the pool, which we were a little worried about at first because we thought it might be loud, but it wasn't at all. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and so nice. There was also a public beach only about a five-minute walk away, and we had so much fun hanging out there the day we arrived. Everything about our stay was amazing. Between the beautiful hotel, perfect location, and especially the incredible staff, this place was easily one of the biggest highlights of our trip. I genuinely could have stayed there forever and would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was great and made it so easy to get around and be close to everything we wanted to see and do. The receptionists were also extremely helpful and gave us some great local recommendations, which we really appreciated. One thing that really surprised us was how quiet the room was. Athens can feel pretty busy and loud when you're outside, but as soon as we got into our room, it was completely silent. We never had any issues with outside noise, which made it really nice to come back and relax after being out all day. Overall, we had a great stay and really loved the location, helpful staff, and how peaceful the room was!

This was such a fun experience!! we loved it. the water was really calm until the end. it was so fun to see different parts of santorini you couldn't see without going on a boat! wasnt many fish to see snorkeling and we only stopped at 2 spots and you could really only swim in one of them. We rented a buggy and would definitely recommend this for seeing all of Paros. It made exploring the island so fun. We got to go to a beach club for the beginning of the day and that was really nice to relax there, but it definitely was pretty busy. We went to the Monastiri beach club.

We combined a visit to Athens with six days of sailing in the Ionian Sea. KimKim made planning so much easier. The transfers to and from the airport were timely. Our transfer from Athens to Lefkada was with George from Epirus Adventures. George was personable and made the long drive pass quickly even with our two stops. He was an excellent driver too! All portions of our trip went smoothly thanks to Sienna. It was nice knowing that if anything did go wrong, we would have a resource (KimKim) to help with any problems.

The Athens Ivy is located in the heart of Athens, near a lot of shopping and dining. A few of the rooms have a view of the Acropolis , but most don't. It is within reasonable walking distance of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The included breakfast is better than most. The breakfast is served in an on-site restaurant and allows many choices. The restaurant is also nice for late night relaxing. Other than the restaurant, there are not really any common areas. The lobby is tiny. The rooms were all updated, clean, and tastefully decorated.

This is a small hotel that has obviously been in existence for a while, but everything is updated.

The hotel is near shopping and many dining choices. The Acropolis is an easy walk.

It was easy to make arrangements for a breakfast to take with us for an early trip to Delphi.

The accommodations that Kate selected for us were wonderful—easy walking distance to the castles and other attractions that we planned to visit. Every one of them was quaint, historical, and provided excellent breakfasts! The staff at each one were courteous, professional, and helpful.
Our drivers John and Ollie were terrific! They were knowledgeable, personable, and excellent drivers. We did a LOT of touring and felt completely at ease with them. Driving around the south coast of England in a London cab was a bonus!
We requested viewing an extraordinary number of sites in the time that we had available, but Kate was able to design a tour that exceeded our expectations. She’s awesome, and based on her performance, I would not hesitate to recommend Kimkim to others.

Iconic Oxford Private Walking Tour

Athens guide, Evita, was very knowledgeable , accommodating, personable and provided a great suggestion for a restaurant. Santorini guide, El, was also very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating. Sifnos guide, Stephanie, was personable and accommodating. She did not provide relevant historical knowledge, which was disappointing considering that this was a cultural & historical walk through three villages. Sunset cruise in Santorini was wonderful, as were the captain & his first mate ( both named, Demitri). The sailing cruise in Paros is highly recommended; the captain, Costo, was very accommodating; a particularly caring when one member of our group didn’t feel well. All transfer drivers were prompt and professional, & added their knowledge of the area. Our experience with the hotels was acceptable but less than ideal. We learned that it’s important to better scrutinize hotel selections. In Athens the hotel was in a great location. The staff was accommodating, the breakfast, delicious. However, the room was tiny. Would have selected an upgrade if we were able. In Santorini, the room was comfortably, however it required walking down a flight of stairs, within the room, to access the bathroom - this was unpleasant for seniors. Also, in retrospect, we would have preferred a hotel closer to the ocean. In Sifnos the hotel was beautiful, the staff was accessible but we were given a room with THREE LEVELS. The living room, kitchen and bedroom were each on a different level, accessible by flights of stairs. Again, not very accommodating to senior citizens. On Paros the hotel was very nice, walking distance to the beach with good breakfast. And on Naxos the hotel was very comfortable, good breakfast and walking distance to town and the beach. I would highly recommend carefully reviewing hotel accommodations for a trip of this nature. (We neglected to do that). There were more luxurious hotels at most locations, with ocean front accommodations, and some with private pools on the balconies. It would have been worth the additional cost to have those accommodations.
In general Kimkim was very helpful, provided excellent service prior to and during the trip.

The tour was well organized and the emergency support was first class. The hotel in Alesund was bit disapointing where as the hotels in Oslo, Bergen, Tromso and Lofoten islands were very conveniently located and decent

Valentine was very detailed and helped us along the way when we had questions. She planned an amazing trip and made our lives easier!

We had an incredible week in Argentina with 2 days in Buenos aires and 4 days in peninsula de Valdés.
Mili greeted us at the airport with a nice big sign and standing where we could clearly see her, and a nice big smile! The welcome was everything we needed to start the week of on the right foot.
We were tired from the flight and mostly rested during the day, but in the evening went to a home hospitality dinner with Diego and Mariana where we sat and dined with 3 generations of the family for a warm and homey regular family dinner. They even noticed that it was the evening of the Jewish new year, and served apples and honey for dessert! I don't have enough words to describe how welcome we felt 💖!
The next morning Agostina took us all around Buenos Aires, her knowledge was deep and she had patience for all my questions! And in spite of the cold weather agreed to indulge me in a quick stop for my favorite ice cream!
We were given great tips for how to spend our afternoon. In the evening we had fun at the tango and dinner show.
The next morning we were off to peninsula de Valdés. At our hotel in Puerto piramides the front a desk at first couldn't find our reservation, and the emergency contact at say Hueque helped straighten everything out and the room was just beautiful, with an incredible beach view.
The weather caused a change in our plans for the navigation, and Say Hueque helped us move things around so that we still were able to explore the entire peninsula, as we had hoped.
For our last night, we drove to estancia el pedral at punta ninfa, south east of Puerto madryn. I simple do not have words to express what a wonderful day we had there. We want to go back, as one day was definitely not enough time at the beautiful estancia with the beautiful warm and attentive family and staff. We were greeted by Sebastian and Mateo, then had a delicious dinner prepared by chef pablo. Every one of my food limitations was taken into account while keeping ingredients local and absolutely delicious and impeccably presented. The next morning after breakfast mateo took us to see the penguin rookery and the view and lighthouse at the point. We were very sad to not be able to do more activities, but had to leave to catch a flight to return to buenos aires.
Overall an amazing week and we can't wait to return!

The staff was great. Especially Pablo was helpful and really made us feel at ease. Note that there is no elevator, but the staff assisted with luggage. The room is a little dated, the safe took us a bit to figure out. I'm not sure we ever did completely understood all the modes of the A/C / heater unit. The breakfast was great, with a good variety, plenty of protein options as well as delicious local pastries, and a coffee bar. On the last day we had to leave early, and they made sure we could get food before leaving. I would have liked to get a map with a little more explanations of where exactly we were located, what local transportation is available nearby and what they recommend for the nearby services such as restaurants. (I did ask for a map and the only one they had did not include the location of the hotel)

This estancia stay was one of the highlights of our trip! The family and staff are attentive to every detail. The food is delicious. The main building, room and property itself are beautiful. One day was not enough, but was all the time we had, and we are grateful to have had this, albeit short, experience. Note that the drive there is quite long and the dirt road is bad at spots, so be prepared. Well worth the effort!

Right after immigration Deta make sure my driver is visible to me while I browse through the signage. The driver is helpful and drives us to the hotel.
Both our driver and tour guides did very good job and make sure that we enjoy the tours during our stay. I would recommend KimKim to anyone would like to have your vacation arranged for you without hassle.

We had a wonderful trip to Porto, Lisbon, Coimbra, Lagos in the Algarves and Madeira. Giorgia was excellent in helping to design and plan the trip of our dreams.

Our trip to Porto was amazing!! Adam chose the absolute perfect hotel for us. Our rooms had small gardens in the back, the hotel offered a delicious breakfast, along with a pool and lovely bar area. We took a cooking class where we learned to cook Portuguese dishes and had the best time. We got to explore the local market and learn about the local people that run the place. Overall, KimKim helped us make the most out of our trip!!

The places I visited in Patagonia were great. The tours that I booked were average. I searched out a few additional tours that were with smaller groups and more unusual excursions. I wish I had been offered more choices from the start.

The trip organized by Rachel and her team was perfect. The trip pacing was perfect and we really enjoyed all of it. The most astounding part of the trip was frankly the properties they selected . Every one was unique and perfect. Every time we showed up to a new property we were delighted. Of particular note was the sheepdog demonstration- a fascinating experience we wouldn’t have found on our own.

So this was also another wedding venue and there was one going on this day. As a result the next morning there were empty glasses and empty beer bottles littered about and one area (obviously the smoking area) outside the restaurant where the ground was littered with cigarette buts. My partner found broken glass on his seat at the breakfast as well.

What a unique property! A straight up castle- it was very cool.

Just the fact it looks like and actual castle was cool. We stayed in the. Carriage house, but since it was attached to the main building it felt like you were staying in the castle. Another very cool item were the onsite escape rooms. We had a great time escaping the dungeon.

One of the things one should be aware of is that this is a big wedding venue. When we checked in the lobby was full of wedding guests and we literally had to wiggle our way to the desk to check in. They were also packing the bar, so getting a nice beverage after the long drive was impossible. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The music from the wedding was also quite loud, although away from the main building. It did not take away from our enjoyment but something to be aware of.

Gregan's Castle Hotel

This was one of our favorite properties on the trip. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, and also enjoyed dinner there on one of the casual nights. Very very nice. The property and the room we were upgraded to (Fuschia) were spectacular. The pub was warm and cold and we spent much of one rainy afternoon there by the fire. Perfection.

Ballynahinch Castle Hotel

This property was amazing. The grounds were just spectacular - we spent most of one afternoon just hiking the very well maintained trails on the property. Over 5 miles by our count. There is a lovely perfect walled garden and kitchen garden that was one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Our room was nicely situated with a river view. Perfect orientation.

Well- they mostly seemed a bit overworked and stressed. We didn’t really get the warm welcome or assistance with luggage we would have expected, and were quite surprised by that. The pub was lovely, but they had the poor bartender doing everything. He seemed extremely overworked.

We did not go on this cruise as it was raining and the seas were rough. I would suggest it as an activity but not book it in advance. There were lots of spots available and could easily be walk up.

We booked a 10-day trip to Brazil (Rio, Amazon/Manaus, and Foz do Iguacu). Ours was a group of 14 and our KimKim representative was Bruno Madeira. The trip was expensive-but we were willing to pay as we looked at this as once in a life-time experience for us.
From the beginning to the end, Bruno was excellent in responding to our messages. High points of the trip were:
1. Day 2: Visit to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf were fully worth it.
2. Hospitality of the Paroa Amazon Lodge Staff. Fillipe and Leilian were exceptional and went above and beyond in meeting our dietary needs. Food was excellent.
3. Foz do Iguacu was really wonderful, both from the Argentinian side as well as the Brazil side. Our guide Edson was very respectful, and he made sure that everyone was comfortable and safe from the time he met us until we got checked in at the airport. There was one issue that tainted this positivity and I am sure who was to blame for it (see #6 below).
4. On our request, Edson took us to Parque das Aves. We appreciated that he accommodated our request. We paid the entrance fee on our own. These little things should have been included in the package.

Here are the reasons why I did not give four stars to the Kim-Kim experience and to Bruno.
1. Kim-Kim app is very basic. We did not have access to invoices, hotel and airline vouchers via the app.
2. Our detailed daily itinerary was not available until a couple of days before the trip. At times (especially in Rio) we had to push the guide asking for the following day's itinerary.
3. Day 3 tour in Rio was tiring and we felt that some places were included just to kill the time. We felt that our guide their was pushy and disrespectful to our group members on more than one occasion.
4. We felt that we were not well informed about our Amazon experience. Even though it was termed "Amazon Safari" the actual experience fell short. We felt that a visit to the indigenous village should have been included for the price we paid, but it was not. Instead we visited a local village, which was not what we expected.
5. Except for the Arena Leme Hotel, the other hotels we stayed were just average. This is why we strongly felt that indigenous village visit could have been included to increase the value for our money.
6. Boat ride in the Argentina-side was not included in our package. Edson charged us a lot more than the price published on the ticket counter. When we informed Bruno, he asked us to resolve it with the guide. We were quite disappointed with Edson's action as well as Bruno's response.

The driver never met us in the airport when we arrived in Rome. That was disappointing, but we connected and got to our hotel. Giorgia booked us great hotels with local flavor and great locations. The small group tours were worth it to have an intimate tour. We took the Food Lover's Rome tour and Lily was an amazing tour guide. Colosseum and Vatican tour guides were great too. The Florence Tuscan Wine tour was excellent and the 3 wineries were the stars of the show. We ended our trip with a Sunset boat tour of Cinque Terre. It was fantastic.
