Rodrigo was my personal guide for three days. His historical knowledge of Argentina and Cordoba is outstanding. His presentation was professional and warmly personal to my curiosity. He made it feel like I cruising around with a new friend.

Leny did a great job helping us organize and plan a Tokyo trip for our group of 7 people. Managing a group of this size takes a lot of coordination, and she kept us well-organized throughout the process.She provided us with a solid variety of activity options to choose from during the initial stages. We really appreciated her flexibility during the planning phase, as she listened to our suggestions and was very accommodating when we needed to make changes to the itinerary.Thanks to Leny’s thorough preparation and responsiveness, our trip to Tokyo went smoothly. She is a reliable planner who truly listens to her clients' input.

Our fun activites included go-karting on the streets of Tokyo, visiting the Tsukiji Fish Market, participating in a Japanese traditional tea ceremony, kimonos and all! We also visited a local garden.

Leny created a group chat on WhatsApp for our trip and was available throughout our journey.

Our driver Oussama was with us for the whole 7 day tour. Always on time, always polite, respectful, courteous, helpful & great driver. Oussama was our steady rock, full of great info in between all the different guides we had. We’re sure Oussama would be a great guide himself given the chance.
In Marrakech we had Ashraf as our guide & he set a bar so high that our other guides couldn’t reach. Sharif in Fes was also excellent & knows & loves his town so well. Abdul in Chefchaouen was difficult to understand & just wanted to take photos of us but knows his town. Tangier was self guided so those guides were also great 😅.
Planning by Kimkim needs to be tighter & itinerary followed. If there are changes they should be advised to clients asap.
Cave of Hercules is a tourist trap & shouldn’t be included unless requested.
Open air/zero sun protection sites like Volubilis in summer should be visited outside the peak heat of the day.
All in all a tremendous experience that we will remember forever.

Our guide Abdul was very difficult to understand in English. Luckily he speaks some Italian & between that & English we understood about half of what was said. Abdul wanted to grab our phones & take pictures of us everywhere which isn’t what we thought guides are paid to do. Chefchaouen also has a major cat problem, much worse than Fes or even Marrakech. Keep Chefchaouen to a maximum 2hr visit.

Our driver Oussama was great. Meknes was a nice interesting stop. Volubilis was a surprise as we were unaware this had been added to our itinerary. We arrived at Volubilis without sunscreen as we were unaware of the extra stop. Unfortunately we got a little cooked & it made the rest of the day a bit uncomfortable.

Our driver/guide Oussama was great. Sadly, the Cave of Hercules (which we had not asked to visit nor were we informed) was a tourist trap. Standing in line for tickets (which should have been pre-purchased online) we baked in the sun for an hour, without sunscreen or hats as we were caught totally by surprise by the stop.

Each of our guides in the various parts of the trip were superb. We really enjoyed our two guides in Lisbon - especially the guide from "We hate tours" as he was really knowledgeable, hard working and informative. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed our tour of the 2 palaces in Sintra. We also enjoyed Obidos and Nazare before going to Porto.

The accommodations were also wonderful - great locations and hotel selections.

Areas of improvement:
- Recommendations of restaurants or areas to visit when we had downtime; even scheduling some resevations ahead of time for us would have been helpful.
- We arrived at our hotel by 9am and breakfast was not included that day and we had a full day until rooms were ready at 3pm. They held our bags, but would have been nice to grab a meal included as most places were not even open yet.
- We had a full day in Lisbon on the day we arrived with no plans- would have been helpful to have our city tour this day instead of having that be day 3 of Lisbon. We ended up going to belem on our own but some guidance would have been helpful.
- Some of the Fado tour and the driving tour around lisbon overlapped so it felt a bit repetitive on where we went and what we did. Also the Fado location for restaurant and dinner was closed so our guide had to find another restaurant with Fado for us to go to. He worked hard and found a great place, but it was odd that our original place was closed without notice.
- The timing of the tours that were proposed were not accurate, especially the day trip to Sintra and surrounding areas. Due to high season, and major issues with finding parking in and around the palaces and town, we got back to our hotel 3 hours later than was intended on our guide. While we enjoyed the tours, we had to truly cut short our last city visit as we had dinner reservations that we would have been charged for had we not been there in time. In the future, the driver should either drop us off so he can find parking and we can walk around, or there should be better parking locations or have parking factored in somehow. It was more walking due to not parking close to city center in Sintra.
- would have been nice to have included a one day trip to the Duoro Valley. Our walking tour was great though and the port wine tour were great - they could have been combined on one day to allow for Duoro valley on one day.

The Pena Palace tour was wonderful and not busy when we attended The full day was 3 hours longer than was planned due to travel times, parking locations being far away and requiring a lot of walking to get to and from starting locations.

We had a wonderful trip to Iceland and really appreciate the help that Gummi and KimKim gave us in planning this adventure for us. We went for 2 weeks and did just about everything we could think of to get the full experience and we still only saw a fraction of what there is to see. We went to Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon, rode Icelandic horses, went whale watching and saw loads of whales, visited ice caves, a volcanic crater and went kayaking in a glacier lagoon. We also went snorkeling in the Silfra fissure which was breathtaking (wear extra socks!). We saw endless beautiful waterfalls, all unique. For this trip we opted to rent a car and drive ourselves which worked out really well. The exception was a private jeep trip into "Thors Valley (Thórsmörk)" and I can't recommend that enough. We had Ragnar as our guide and he not only led us on multiple hikes, he also shared in-depth information about the park as well as about Icelandic culture in general. He was fantastic AND we got to drive through rivers in a big jeep. We also took the ferry over to Heimaey Island for a day to see the Beluga Whale sanctuary and see the museum to the volcanic eruption that happened there is the 1970s - well worth it. I recommended leaving a day or two to explore Reykjavik as well - we enjoyed walking the city and seeing all the public art and the giant church.

Othman was our travel guide and he was outstanding. My husband loves to do all the travel planning and Othman was so helpful and offered excellent suggestions whenever we had questions. The only issues that arose during the trip were bookings we made ourselves. Because we are both seniors, we have some mobility limitations but we are able to access and make the most of the sites we visited. We particularly loved the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, the South Coast and the Westman islands. I give KimKim and Othman my highest recommendation!

While the guides were good, this tour company is overpriced and tough to work with. Despite confirming information several times they really had everything wrong - passport numbers, pick up times, number of people, dates. It was really disappointing based on how much they charge. I wouldn't book with them again.

Everything was smooth and professional and really exceeded our expectations! It felt like we were there for two weeks because of all the really good activities. I have to admit that I did try to plan by myself at first but I would never have been able to plan a well balanced, worry free trip just by myself even with ample research.

We travelled between Oct 20- Oct 30 , we did the W circuit 5 days, trip guide Julieta helped with organizing. Our stay at the Hotels were simply astonishing with excellent quality food and accommodation. Day 2 was the mot difficult as we got hit with a surprising snow storm near the three peaks and it was extremely windy, Our stay in Puerto Natales was good . Patagonia one of the most beautiful un touched places on Earth, must visit list .

Thanks Taylor and the Kimkim Team. Taylor planned a great trip for us, having spoken with us and heard our needs, likes and dislikes. Also to Nick and Maria who kept in touch when we were there. Communicated all the time, and made us feel really welcome and looked after. Luckily we didn't have any emergencies or need too much looking after, but it was great to know there were people there to call if needed. Anytime. Thank you.

Things we especially liked/that went well:
the app is great. Love having the details to hand, links to different transport we're using (flights, trains, ferries) and name and details of pickups and drivers. So obvious but not always provided by travel companies. Loved it.
The quality and location of the hotels was great. We're a bit spoilt and like the luxe end of the hotel market, but felt that KimKim got it right - the hotels were nice/better than nice AND extremely well places to schlepp ourselves and our bags across to a station, ferry port, etc. It made a huge difference, especially since it was raining a lot of the time.
Suggested activities and guides were great. Sven in Oslo and Sandra in Bergen were fab. Informative and easy to be with.
We loved the apple cider tasting in Balestrand, and the buffet at the Kviknes Hotel was the best buffet we've encountered for a very long time. We ate there both nights of our stay in Balestrand. Loved the oldy-worldy feel and it didn't feel overwhelmed by the large number of tour parties who were there too.
Oslo - two highlights - the Public Library is very special. It's a workspace for everyone, filled with books for everyone. Also the National Museum is fabulous. The feel, the curation of the exhbits - great. And you get a good taste for Munch from their smaller collection. (vs. a major feast (if it's to your taste) in the Munch Museum across the river.
The train to Flam on the Flam Railway was lovely. A bit of a tussle to get a window seat (which we didn't manage) - but still a fun, beautiful ride. The most surprising bit was a fabulous plate of fish and chips at the Flaam Bistro (Canteed). Don't miss it. Another couple we met said the Viking lunch at the PUB in Flaam was great too.

What was less great:
TBH, nothing.
We'd have liked it if it rained less, but it's Norway (and Bergen is renowned for rain :-)). And it didn't stop us doing anything.

The ferries were a bit of a bun fight - understandably as it's peak tourist season. If you are on a ferry - get there early. You won't be the first in the line but you'll get a decent seat and sit together. Ditto the Flaam Train. But if you go in peak season, you have to be chill and roll with it. There are a lot of people wanting to experience the beauty of Norway. It's so worth it.

Thank you Kimkim for creating a great trip. We had a lot of fun and got a real taste for Norway.

Landed at Heathrow and were taken straight to Windsor. Castle tour and wandering through town. First (and best) cheese toastie of the trip (and we had several). Then off to Henley. A cute little place and Tanya was a wonderful guide for the next few days. Hever castle, Highclare and then a night on the water at Leeds. There is a great market next to the train station for lunch, snacks, gifts…
Landed in London and had a short walk to our very centrally located hotel in Covent Gardens. Had a wonderful pub tour, went to Michelin star restaurants, and found it quite easy inconvenient to walk or take the tube to get everywhere.
Then back on a train and off to Scotland. A couple of nights in Edinburgh with a city and castle tour, walk of the royal mile and more good food. Off to the countryside with a stay at a lovely hotel with its own Michelin starred chef, right next door to a world renowned chocolate shop. Had a wonderful and educational tour of the Dewars/Aberfeldy whisky distillery and trips to Blair and Stirling castles.
A short flight over to Dublin where we had a wonderful city tour with Seamus and then a standout connoisseur’s tour of Guinness. A drive over to the Atlantic coast with a tour of Galway and a couple of nights on the water. Fortunately we had no rain the entire two weeks, unfortunately until the last day. Our trip to the Cliffs of Moher was disappointing due to no visibility, but I should point out that the visitor center was well worth stopping in.

Jun was our guide for four days in Seoul. He was lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. He humored all of our requests, including driving us to an obscure part of Seoul with very NARROW streets to see where our mom used to live (in the 50’s).! I would say he became a friend during our time with him. Jiyoung
was our guide in Jeju and drove us all over, showing us the things that only a resident of Jeju could know. The trip was well planned and the hotels were spectacular! The Parnas on Jeju had an outstanding pool with a view of the ocean and the Lotte and Conrad in Seoul had extensive and excellent breakfast buffets. Overall a most memorable trip that I will remember forever.

Our 2026 European vacation, planned through KimKim, was absolutely wonderful!

Stephen created an amazing 14-day itinerary through Vienna, Switzerland, and Italy. From arranging all of our private drivers to booking all of our first-class train tickets, every detail was taken care of. He planned all of our excursions, prepaid the tickets, and provided easy-to-follow directions for every destination. Our hotels were all very nice and prepaid as well, making the entire trip stress-free.

Some of the highlights of our trip included the Sound of Music Tour in Salzburg, Austria, the Golden Round Trip to Mt. Pilatus, and the unforgettable Jungfraujoch excursion. Every experience was fantastic.

Lake Como was absolutely stunning. We spent one afternoon on our own at the Mandarin Oriental Lake Como, where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, breathtaking views, and explored the beautiful grounds for about three hours.

Then came the Dolomites—they are simply AMAZING!

The only disappointment was the location of the hotel booked for our stay near the Dolomites. If Stephen had never visited the area himself, he probably wouldn’t have known, but the hotel was located in an industrial area about 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Dolomites. As a result, we had to hire a private driver for an 8-hour tour, which cost us an additional $1,000. Although it ended up being an incredible day, we wish we had stayed at a hotel much closer to the Dolomites so we could have enjoyed more time there.

This was our second trip booked through KimKim, and we highly recommend them. They truly take the guesswork out of planning a vacation, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy the experience.

We will definitely use KimKim again and again!

My husband and I wanted to a celebration trip to Iceland for him finishing his medical residency, and Adam was the perfect person to help us plan it! We wanted to drive around and visit key sights, but also relax and enjoy ourselves. Adam's guidance was crucial, and his expertise really helped us figure out what places to visit and what to skip. The driving instructions for each day were amazing, and it was a seamless experience to have all the bookings for tours/hotels done in advance. It took a lot of pressure off us, and it was a fantastic trip!
The highlights were the Skaftafell Glacier Hike, RIB Whale Watching, Westman Islands, and Sturlureykir Horse Riding!

Bella did an amazing job setting things up for us and adjusting to our needs. Our diver from the airport, for a tour of the island, and delivery back to the airport as well as the other drivers, tour guides from Mr. Tu's and the Elephant Sanctuary were exceptional. Mr. Tu's team was especially thoughtful, ensuring everyone stayed hydrated and safe. The team from the Elephant Sanctuary were very courteous and took pictures as needed so those on the adventure could enjoy it to the fullest, even if it felt a little rushed.

Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the staff was extremely helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and peaceful for a beachside resort, which made the experience more relaxing than the hotels I have stayed at in the past.

The location is great. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, though it is a bit out of the way and pretty far from the touristy area, so transportation is needed unless you enjoy long walks on the side of the road.

We didn't interact with most of the staff other than at meals, but the ones we encountered were courteous and motivated to help in whatever manner they could.

Cleanliness & Comfort

As stated above, the room was spacious. It was also very clean and the AC made it a comfortable place to relax after a long day.

This was a great experience, though it felt a little rushed. Most of the activities were shorter than I thought they would be, though we did do everything I thought we would other than a tour of the sanctuary itself.

Koh Tao day trip from Koh Samui by speedboat

The snorkeling on this tour was great, with a good amount of reefs and fish to see. Don't expect Great Barrier Reef quality, but it was great to finally see some fish after our first day not seeing anything. The Japanese Garden was a little disappointing, but did not take away from the experience as a whole.

Angthong Marine Park Tour by Speedboat from Koh Samui

This was a great start to snorkeling. There wasn't much to see and the time we got to snorkel was short, but it gave my wife and I the ability to learn how snorkeling is done before we missed out on future snorkeling experiences. The kayaking was great. The hiking was good, but we came to learn that Thailand doesn't really know the difference between ladders and stairs 😂
