When we walked into this hotel and saw the view, we felt like we had reached paradise. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The views are unbelievable! The restaurant is also very good! This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in EVER!

This hotel is in a great location. The room was a little small, with no closet or dresser for your clothes, so if you have large pieces of luggage, it is a challenge.

Great location

The room we were in (Pipit) was fabulous. Lovely and only one of two rooms in the building which made it very quiet. Lovely view over the lily pond.

What a unique property! A straight up castle- it was very cool.

I wish I could give this place 8 stars. The service was impeccable, the rooms were very nice and the location was very central to the parks we were visiting.

This was one of our favorite properties on the trip. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, and also enjoyed dinner there on one of the casual nights. Very very nice. The property and the room we were upgraded to (Fuschia) were spectacular. The pub was warm and cold and we spent much of one rainy afternoon there by the fire. Perfection.

This property was amazing. The grounds were just spectacular - we spent most of one afternoon just hiking the very well maintained trails on the property. Over 5 miles by our count. There is a lovely perfect walled garden and kitchen garden that was one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. Our room was nicely situated with a river view. Perfect orientation.

Wonderful hotel in the perfect location for Dublin. Breakfast was fabulous and our garden room had a lovely view. Very centrally located near a couple really fun pubs.

I would like to give 5 stars to our sheepdog Mac as well. This was amazing and one of my favorite activities. Well worth the drive!

Amazing entertainment as well as food!

We did not go on this cruise as it was raining and the seas were rough. I would suggest it as an activity but not book it in advance. There were lots of spots available and could easily be walk up.

Our guide Emma was fantastic- not saying anything wrong with her at all. However we would have gotten a lot more out of it going through on our own. This is not an activity or museum where a guide is needed at all.

Really cool experience and our driver was super nice and knowledgeable about the area.

Brian was great and we enjoyed his banter and stories of fairies and fairy trees! He modified the trip for us and was very flexible.

Wow! Beautiful scenery and the meal the crew cooked was delicious.

The wineries made the experience. Food was fantastic. Aldo was a great tour guide.

Our guide gave a very good history of everything he showed us and made it much more impressive and I could appreciate it better.

Absolutely stunning and we got to see not only Kotor Bay including Perast and 'Our lady of the Rocks', but also a submarine bunker, and swam in a coastal cave.

highly recommend this adventure. The entire area is breathtaking and the boat ride gives you a totally different perspective. Shala River was impressive and the water so clear.

Beautiful to see and experience but the driver was like a race car driver.

This hotel was close to the Old Town with a variety of restaurants near by.

The Masseria Grieco was a beautiful spot that unfortunately we only had one night at. The staff were very nice and the restaurant for dinner was outside with a unique menu each night.

Staying in a hotel built into a cave was a highlight of our trip! The staff here were very helpful and the included breakfast, very tasty, was presented to our table in small plates of a variety of foods. Such fun! A great location with many restaurants within easy walking distance. A unique experience!

Hotel La Bussola was in a good location, a little bit away from the main shopping area but close enough to easily walk to. The hotel restaurant had a beautiful view and was good quality.

Hotel Continental was very nice and in a good location. Breakfast had a wide variety of food available.

A small boutique hotel, the Palazzo Venere was perfect. It is well located, within easy walking distance to sights and restaurants. All of the people we met were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, particularly for such a small hotel, had a wide variety of foods and held something for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Visiting this site is a very emotional experience. Hearing about the daily lives of the people of Pompeii and imagining their horror as the Volcano erupted is difficult. A visit not easily forgotten.

Another hidden gem in the Puglia area. Ostuni is called "la cotta Bianca" which means white town. A lovely town.

Visiting this winery with Mt. Vesuvius in the background was amazing. The wine tasting with lunch was a highlight of the trip.

The Masseria wine tasting and lunch was a wonderful experience. The wine was very good and the lunch delicious. We wish we had more time in this location.

We enjoyed the tour of old Bari with its maze of alleyways and the Saint Nicola Cathedral. A highlight was the Nonnas making orecchiette pasta from scratch on the street!

Walking through historic Rome with a knowledgable guide is an unbelievable experience. We learned so much from our experienced tour leader, I wish I could remember ever word she said.

The trulli houses of Alberobello are truly exceptional with their conical roof shaped buildings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the summer residence of the Pope. The Secret Garden was lovely and the tour of the palace was very interesting. Gandolfo is a nice town.

A delightful town with whitewashed buildings atop rolling hills.

Visiting this church with it's three levels of history is amazing. You'll find a 12 century basilica, a 4th century church below it and, deep below ruins of ancient Roman buildings.

The tour covers about 3km with some uneven walking. Be prepared for the many, many stairs on the way out!

The Sassi of Matera - a UNESCO World Heritage site is an amazing place, with buildings build into the rock of the canyon walls. Truly an experience you shouldn't miss.

A lovely way to see the whole island. Frank, our driver, did a great job of manuvering around all the other water traffic!

We sampled a variety of local foods. Luca, our guide, was from the area and introduced us to some new tastes - I'd never had potato pizza before!

A smooth ride over to Capri.

What can you say about visiting the Vatican, St. Peter's and the Sistine Chapel other than it is a must see when in Rome.

The Hotel Astoria is in the heart of Old Town Kotor. Our room looked over the bay and outer wall. The room was large and well furnished with a lovely modern amenity bathroom. We had to leave early the next morning; so they provided us with a box breakfast the night before. Quite nice.

This is a family run hotel and winery. Each villa is a self sustained home. We had a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and covered front porch. At 6pm, the husband provides a wine tasting event in his winery. They also provide you with a complimentary bottle of their wine at checkin. The villa is very comfortable. We decided to hit the market and make our own dinner that night and eat on the porch. It was lovely. The breakfast is made to order and delivered to your front porch (which has a dining table). There is a menu and you let them know the night before what you would like and when. Super nice family.

The Panorama Kruje is the most modern of our stays. The room is HUGE - we could have a dance party in it. The bathroom is also large as the balcony. Our room looked over the old bazaar and castle. The view is stunning! Location also 5 star.

Another centrally located hotel, makes walking a breeze. Thank goodness for the parking permit provided with the room. You park at a private lot about 5 minutes walk away; but honestly if you didn't have this there would be nowhere to park. I appreciated that lot! The room was less than desirable. Ours had a tiny high window that looked at a wall- thus it was dark. Even with all the lights turned on; it is a dark room. The walls are stone, which gives it the authentic flavor; but, it also provided spots for cobwebs and little critters. However - the breakfast was the best we had! And it just coming. This is a sit down breakfast where they just serve you platter after platter of items. We felt guilty that we simply could not eat it all. The reason to book this hotel is 1 - BREAKFAST and 2 - parking lot provided.

Another hotel with an amazing view + onsite parking. The rooms was very comfortable and the A/C worked perfectly. The restarant here is very good and quite popular. Reservations are a must - the first night we couldn't get it. But made sure to enjoy it our 2nd night. It is a special occasion place; most everyone dressed up for dinner here. The only down side - laundry service. Upon check in. I asked if they had laundry service which they confirmed and advised me to bring my laundry down. When I did, they escourted me into their laundry area and showed me how to use the machines. Obviously, a miscommunication. I thought I would pay for the service and have that time to explore town. Instead, I spent a couple of hours doing my own. Oh well - got clean laundry.

This hotel is located right at the base of the Castle - you can walk out the back gate by the pool, take a left and you are at the entrance. Take a right and follow it down the hill directly into the Old Bazaar area. The location couldn't be more perfect PLUS they have on site parking. The staff is super friendly and the view from the terrace overlooks the entire city and valley. We were lucky enough to have a double rainbow spanning the sky. The only reason it is not 5 star; is because the minisplit struggled to keep up. Thus it was a little warm.

This was such a personal, fun, and memorable experience! We were the only people booked that day, so it felt very special and personalized. Our teachers were two wonderful young men who made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. We baked bread, made stuffed peppers, Berati beef, and a delicious custard dessert—all while joking, laughing, and listening to music. It felt less like a formal cooking class and more like spending time with friends who were sharing their food, culture, and traditions with us. Afterward, we enjoyed the fruits of our labor. And let me tell you—there was TOO MUCH food! Everything was delicious, and the whole experience was relaxed, authentic, and full of fun. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and an experience we will remember for a long time!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When we checked in, the staff member looked at our Teva sandals and told us they were appropriate for the tour. Shortly after starting, Sarah’s sandal broke, and our guide, Lionel, was clearly unhappy about it. We had already heard Lionel tell someone that he didn’t want to do this tour, and unfortunately, that attitude seemed to carry throughout our experience. He told us that our shoes were completely wrong, but we explained that the person who checked us in had specifically told us they were fine. How were we supposed to know otherwise? I asked if there was any possibility of pivoting to another activity, such as tubing, but he said no. To his credit, he did have an associate bring us river socks, but after that, he simply walked in front of the group. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of information or engagement. There was no explanation of the gorge, the surrounding environment, or anything else that would have made the experience interesting or educational. The entire tour felt boring, negative, and lacking in enthusiasm. Given the beautiful setting and potential for a great experience, we left feeling very disappointed.

The Great Chimera canceled our trip without notifying us, so we showed up at the dock all ready and excited for our adventure—only to find that no one was there. We were understandably confused and disappointed, especially since we had received no communication about the cancellation. A simple phone call, email, or message would have saved us the time and inconvenience of making the trip to the dock. Definitely not the way we expected the day to start. Hmmmm...

This is a very good city hotel as one would expect from Marriott Autograph collection. The front desk staff, bellmen, and restaurant staff were excellent. They have a very nice top floor terrace bar with great views of Bilbao. The rooms are a bit dated and we only had a standard double bed instead of a queen.

This hotel has a nice location overlooking the bay at San Sebastián. Unfortunately we had the worst rooms in the hotel. They were on the first floor with no views and a patio that was tiny for 2 people. The patio was facing a 50 foot high rock wall about 5 feet from the patio door . It felt like we were at the bottom of an elevator shaft. The lobby and restaurant area were quite nice, and the front desk and restaurant staff were great !

This small hotel in the middle of the Rioja region was delightful. Interesting art and architecture with a small hotel feel. Nice clean rooms and a very good breakfast service.

We had a wonderful guide but we had 8 in our group and it was a logistical challenge to visit crowded pintxa bars and stay close enough to our guide to hear much.

We did a one hour tour of the museum with a guide named Ichia who was outstanding.

8 people in a crowded van, and a mediocre tour guide

Our guide Adolfito, or Fito was great. Very personable and knowledgeable. We did tastings and tours at two wineries. The first was a small family owned winery and the tour and tasting were among the best we have ever had !

Staff friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee available 24 hrs in lobby. Comfortable rooms and good location.

This hotel is in a convenient location, comfortable and attended by accommodating staff. It was easy to get to bus for our return home. My husband found the room to be a little small (our luggage took up a fair amount of room) but I was fine with the size.

Our room looked out at the glacier, and had trails directly from our deck where we sat for aurora viewing, as were stars in that dark sky! Staff, restaurant, breakfast and location were excellent. Waking up to sunrise on the glacier was the cherry on top!

Charming, welcoming and excellent location for our travels and the breakfast was superb!!

We were relocated to Center Hotel Laugavegur due to a fire. We were well accommodated. Our review is for that site

Great location in the old city and it has a lovely pool for relaxing . However the room we had overlooked a venue that played loud music into the night. When I raised this matter the next day we were immediately moved to another quieter room.

I had not expected to enjoy this as much as I did. We were taken by minibus and we boarded a boat at Kekova. The day was spent viewing the underwater and above water ruins of Kekova Island and 5 swims in the aquamarine waters of the area. We also stopped at Simena Castle where people could climb to the top for spectacular views. We were also given a lovely lunch . All in all a great day!
