We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The places and experiences that made up our itinerary were excellent. We particularly enjoyed El Calafate/El Chalten. The kayaking/hiking day was amazing. And also the area around Salta - just stunning scenery. In Ushuaia, we loved the day of hiking and rafting. We did not have good luck with weather but enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. The hotels & breakfasts met our expectations - nothing disappointing. The internal flights and all the transfers went very smoothly. And the guides we had for the various things we did were really excellent. Well-informed, easy to understand, fun to be with.
The only thing we might have liked more of was a chance to walk or hike during the four days we spent in the north around Salta. We realize there were long distances to cover by vehicle and so maybe not enough time for that.

It was a wonderful trip a couple hiccups, but they’re bound to happen on a long trip like mine was. One thing I could mention is that flying from Quito to Baltra Island. I was not told there was a stop in between. I was very tired and I was dead asleep and didn’t really hear or understand the announcement and consequently when we landed I thought we were there and I got off had to book another flight myself and a hotel and get on the flight the next morning to go to Baltra while at the airport, I talked to a girl the same thing happened to her. She was not told there was a stop over and she had gone to sleep as well so.
But for the most part, the trip was wonderful. I was always picked up on time brought back the guides and the drivers were wonderful. The hotels were excellent except in QUITO I had to have cold showers. Other than that my showers were all hot, but that hotel was very nice even with the cold showers. The quality of the tours were terrific. I enjoyed every one of them one person who is very instrumental in helping me was Leo QUITO who came to the hotel and explained several things to me that I didn’t understand and that made a world of difference. I have told many many people how my tour was organized because as travelling alone, I spoke to everybody and they all wanted to know about my tour for one person for such a long period of time so I told them Kim Kim was an excellent company and I had used it a couple times before and would definitely be using it again. Weather was excellent so that was a good time to go. Things weren’t as expensive as I thought they would be food was excellent all in all. It was a trip of a lifetime thank you Dorothy McConville Vancouver Canada.

The planning done by Johanna and Kristy was very helpful, saving us time and aggravation. The logistics done by Kristy during the trip (Johanna became unavailable two weeks before the trip) were also excellent. She always quickly responded to questions or logistical issues and we could contact her at any time when needed. . When, due to previous miscommunication, a few small snafus occurred during our trip to Iguazu falls, Kristy quickly acknowledged the problems and addressed them. She was very helpful , pleasant and professional.

Everything worked like clock work. Making the plan was easy and service and execution to the plan were perfect. Response to the provided emergency number was almost instantaneous. trips are highly customizable and suggestions provided by the team were great. My second trip with Kim Kim and I recommend them to anybody.

Guides in Iguazu were informative and supportive, I would leave my greatest praise for Selena who guided us through most of the Mendoza visit.. an excellent job done by her.

Simple and smooth entry to the park, program ran to time, guide managed ticketing for those that hadn’t already purchased entry tickets. (Do buy ahead if you can, it makes things simpler). The sites are amazing, mostly from the top of the falls, but take the boat ride that takes you under the falls, it’s brilliant, but prepared to be wet.

Superb, wonderful, well planned and just what we had requested.
The one "hiccup" (delayed flight) was handled quickly and efficiently by Joaquina Alvarez. She provided responsive feedback during the trip.
The guides were excellent especially Claudio in Buenos Aires.
The drivers were all on time and helpful.

The hotels were all very good as expected but the Iguazu Pristine Luxury Camp was incredible.
The food was spectacular and the service was wonderful.
The surprise to me was how interesting Salta was. The hotel was pleasant but the manager Petal was particularly lovely and helpful.
Some wonderful dinners in the Balcarce area.

Our last night was spent at the Argentine Diner Experience and was an excellent cap to the vacation. In the future one could consider that as a beginning and save the Tango night towards the end.

Communication with Say Hueque was responsive and many of our questions would have been answered if we opened the Vamoos app sooner. I suggest making it very clear to new clients how important and comprehensive the app is.

This 8 km hike is through beautiful massive landscape with just us and our guide with stunning geology changing every 100m and our guide Quito was a proffessor of Geology so was fascinating experinece as well as amazing for photography. We started off in Buenos Aires with a walking food tour. Lucy was a fantastic guide, she explained their culture with such passion. Highly recommend the food tour. We enjoyed the tango dinner and dancing. Loved Palo Santo Hotel, it was quaint and comfortable. Bariloche was an incredible experience. We really enjoyed Facu, our guide for the few days we were there. So kind and personable. He went all out on our boating trip for the day, I would highly recommend the boat trip. El Chalten was stunning! Our hotel Los Cerros was very nice. Super friendly staff, the restaurant and bar was delicious . The Selena Hotel in El Calafate was a great hotel. The Glacier Trek was out of this world cool! The guides were informative and very good at what they do. The only issue we had was our pick up at the hotel was 30 minutes late so we ran the entire tour late. Leaving El Calafate and heading to Torres Del Piane was a long drive but well worth it. Our driver (we had private transfers hired through KIMKIM) was erratic and we had a few scary moments in the van., I would not recommend this driver but we don't know his name. Torres Del Piane was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Las Torres Hotel was an incredible experience. The rooms were great, the food was outstanding as were the drinks. We did the Lookout hike , Tenga Forest hike and the Lagoon excursion. All were incredible.
Leaving Torres to Puerto Natales- Our van pickup was 40 minutes late leaving us to try and find other transportation. He finally arrived and drove in a very unsafe manor to get us to the airport on time. He was going way over the speed limit. It was not appreciated at all. I would not use this driver again. Our hotel in Santiago was great. Paulo worked a miracle and got some champaign for my birthday. Hotel Ismael was very nice with great staff.
Paulo was a great tour director for our entire trip. He communicated with us often and helped us with some flight issues when the strike in Argentina occurred. It was nice to meet him in Buenos Aires, it put a personal stamp on the trip.

The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of our transportation issues with the vans.
Wonderful trip!

The Aldebaran Hotel & Spa was very good overall, but we chose not to spend an extra night there because it was located about seventeen kilometers outside of Bariloche. We preferred being closer to town with more amenities. We were aware of its location beforehand, so it was expected. The hotel itself was great, just not as centrally located as we would have preferred.

I was lucky that I had time to travel Argentina for 9 weeks. I knew before that I wanted to visit Buenos Aires, to hike in Patagonia, to enjoy wines in Mendoza, to explore the region around Salta and to see the amazing falls of Iguazu.
With this information I started here on this site (kimkim) and asked for support. Micaela did an amazing job by putting all the things together, she even added Santiago de Chile, Puerto Varas, Bariloche and Puerto Madryn to my trip which were not in my focus. She booked all domestic flights, all accomodations and transfers (hotel <–> airport) and of course the tours.
Everything went as planned .. and whenever something changed or was not perfect (due to unforeseen circumstances) Milagros took care about it, organized it and led me know of the newest state.
There were no negative surprises .. all went as expected. For me it would have been nearly impossible to put all the pieces together and to deal with changes during my trip .. you made my travel so easy! Thank you, Micaela and Milagros, for your work and effort before and during my trip!

Camila and Flora were fantastic. All the various excursions were executed to the utmost degree. If meals were included they were so delicious and bountiful. What we appreciated most was when there was an Aviation Labor Department strike and our flight was canceled, Camila stepped in and rebooked us the next day while we were still enjoying our day excursion.
From pickups at the airport to transfers to the next place, every service was on time and led by friendly knowledgeable staff.

Camila was excellent: consistently responsive AND informed/connected in designing a trip to Patagonia that exceeded our expectations. In short, she listened well and curated an excellent trip based on our wants/needs. Her contacts/selection of local guides in Bariloche, Calafate, and El Chalten were excellent, especially that of Julian in El Chalten!

One piece of feedback: the booking of flight travel and transport to/from airport pick up times could have been improved. Specifically, (1) when we decided to extend our KimKim Argentine travels with a new trip to Iguazu Falls at the end of our travels from Patagonia, a new ticket should have been issued for a flight from Bariloche to Iguazu, with a stop in Buenos Aires. Instead, a second round trip ticket was added for the travel from Buenos Aires to Iguazu. This necessitated a stressful dash thru BA airport to pick up our luggage and recheck our bags to Iguazu. (2) While all drivers were excellent and always punctual, pick up times should have been better coordinated in the transports between Calafate and El Chalten, and again from El Chalten back to Calafate. Both times had 7:00 AM pickups which created slack time in El Chalten without access to hotel room (from 9-3) and at the airport in Calafate (from 9-2).

The time to transition thru customs between Argentina and Brazil, plus the actual travel time to/from the hotel to the falls (about 4 hrs total) , coupled with the crowds on the Brazilian side diminished the experience. The Brazilian falls felt very commercialized when contrasted to the Argentinian side and less well maintained.

EXCEPTIONAL! Hard to describe the contrast of landscapes and climates experienced during this trip…Often, it felt as if we were hiking between differing planets; at other times, it was as if we were in a movie setting where a dinosaur or caveman might make an appearance! Also, the packed lunch and the location for lunch: EXCELLENT ! In addition, the boat was a magnificent vessel and the captain took extraordinary care to provide multiple viewing access points to the icebergs.

The boat trip to view the glaciers up close and to experience the floating icebergs is difficult to describe: the beauty, the clarity of the ice/waters, the contrast of sea and sky yielded innumerable pictures and memories for a lifetime. We had an exceptional guide with solid scientific grounding peppered with humor !

Great trip, great guides, all the transfers and meet-ups worked out perfectly!

I am writing this review as a first user of the KimKim platform for booking a trip. I have travelled with several other luxury and boutique companies. Here is my feedback regarding the overall experience:

- The travel agent should inquire regarding the interests of the guests and suggest places of interest. Here I was suggesting the places after my research and they were enabling it.
- Kim Kim travels has a very opaque pricing policy. You can review our text chat - you will note that when I added an extra day the pricing was increased by $3000 . I had to point it out and then it was brought down to the original estimate. That's not trustworthy.
- Travel agent did not highlight that the US citizens need Brazilian visa since April 2025. I had to scramble to get one.
- I called before reaching Iguazo falls regarding airport pick up- when I did not get a response I called the hotel to pick up- cost me extra for the pick up and buy the Iguazo Park tickets.
- We were promised a jazz show dinner on December 25th- when I reached Buenos Aires and inquired- they stated it was closed for the holiday- made me a hurried reservation for elsewhere for Jazz- there was no jazz there that night.
My trip to Iguazo falls was made memorable because I booked the Gran Melia hotel on my own. That was an amazing hotel with great views and excellent hospitality.
This was my most expensive trip abroad and I will hesitate to recommend Kim Kim - the company needs to have transparency and more engaged agents.

Camila was our planner and we loved working with her. Great suggestions and local insights, very communicative, and answered our many questions. Helped us build an incredible trip.

Our guides were invaluable and made traveling comfortable and smooth. This was especially helpful since our Spanish is limited and basic. From airport arrival to drop off to everything in between we felt completely taken care of.

Hotels were amazing with one exception- did not care for the Novotel Buenos Aires but it was only for our last night after we arrived back from Antartica and were flying home the next day.

We loved Buenos Aires and all the activities from neighborhood tours to food tours to the incredible Tango show Camila set up (others we talked to about the shows they went to that they coordinated through their hotels had lesser experiences so we were lucky to have an insider like Camila).

We also flew to Mendoza for an incredible 4 days - Camila set everything up and even adjusted our schedule back in BA when a flight was changed. In Mendoza we once again had an outstanding experience with our Guide Lucia and driver Gozalvo- wine tastings, an incredible lunch at Zonda, horseback riding, a cooking class where we made and ate empanadas! We loved all of it.

Then we connected with our separately planned cruise to Antarctica.

The handoff and return were seamless. When the inevitable bumps, delays and curveballs came, we had a local agency we could WhatsApp with and Flora was amazing. Everything flowed smoothly. I can’t emphasize enough how helpful it was to have this service. It made all the difference for us having an incredible bucket list trip that flowed smoothly.

What a fun experience! We did it with another couple and had a blast. Made empanadas and bread and a dessert I can’t remember the name of. Delicious. Then we walked over for a tour of the winery. This is a bigger, more industrial type winery but fascinating and the tour guide was great! Very informative and we loved the young wines and the tasting (but was not a fan of the sweeter wines). Then back for an incredible lunch. But the portions were huge and we were so full we couldn’t really enjoy it fully. Very fun and would do it again for sure!

We had the most incredible day. We started at the Alta Vista Winery and it was incredible. Great tour, super informative and great wines. Then onto Bodega Vistalba - beautiful winery with excellent wines. Finally a lunch and wine at Zonda. Absolutely incredible meal! Wines were excellent. Toured the organic garden. As Big foodies, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Mendoza. Love the whole day and our love for Argentine wines is redoubled. Again, our guide Lucy and driver Gonzalvo we fantastic. We were chauffeured around so comfortably and loved talking to them and getting to know more about their home and the region

The best part was the ride and sunset. Our guide was great and explained some of the flora and fauna of the region. We are horse people and really enjoyed it although the riding was very “trail ride” oriented. The BBQ afterwards was mediocre and a bit too long. We were able to hit the Changing of the Guard at the Metropolitan Cathedral just right and learned a lot about the history of Argentina while driving. We really had an excellent experience. The guides were terrific. Full of knowledge and often went beyond to make everything went well and everyone had a good time.
The only time we had an issue was one guide was delayed due to other people in the group being late. We weren’t contacted and thought they forgot to pick us up because we were waiting over a half hour.
I would just recommend to please contact the guests if guide is running late. Other than that everything was really good.

While we typically love researching and planning our travel, given the last minute decision to go to Argentina and the country's size and need for domestic flights, off loading the itinerary details to Mery was the absolute best decision we made. Because booking asap was critical - especially given the high season and the holidays - she thoughtfully listened and efficiently considered our itinerary wish list. She compiled one that we all thoroughly enjoyed and will never forget. We know it was no small feat to book all these flights, accommodations and tours, and we totally appreciate her efforts. Shout outs to Gerado who expertly trekked with us to a glaciar lagoon (Glacier Sur), Hector at Iguazu Falls/Argentinian side, who stepped in last minute and was happy to share every single detail about this incredible World Heritage Site, and also Martin, who enthusiastically escorted us to local tango halls, delivering a true sense of Buenos Aires culture. Mery, our kikkim specialist and Melagros, our local coordinator, were amazing. Every detail was well-managed, dates were coordinated and doubled checked, pricing was clear and fair, and there was ongoing communication throughout our adventures in Argentina. Our local guide in Buenos Aires, Natalie, was superb. She loves her city, and it shines through at every site. Natalie not only pointed out numerous sites on our 4 hour tour but explained the history, architecture, origin, and neighborhood of every location. Lots of opportunities for dialogue, questions, and experiences were provided. The time flew by and really helped to familiarize us with this beautiful city. Additionally, Natalie, provided numerous recommendations for restaurants, museums, and shopping opportunities to visit later.

Our driver, Michelle, was incredibly competent. She navigated the city as an expert, getting us safely to each location, slowing past 'drive-by' sites, and accommodating quick nearby 'add-on' sites.
Equally complicated was our adventures at Iguazu Falls on the Argentina and Brazil sides. Our guides were very knowledgeable of the falls and rainforest, and gave us lots of time explore and take photos. We did a boat trip to the falls, which was an adrenaline rush, and an authentic Brazilian lunch were unexpected additions that were incredible.
What an incredible team and completely enjoyable experience!
