Hervé Landetcheverry
While I was studying for my Degree in Tourism, I began to travel around Argentina, discovering the unique corners of this immense and varied country.
After several years working in Buenos Aires, Patagonia and India, I started my own business convinced that tourism can be a tool to generate the genuine development of the territories and their people.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialize in responsible tourism and always seek to provide our travelers with authentic experiences, respecting the principles of sustainable tourism as much as possible, both in its environmental and socio-cultural aspects. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"Besides my work in hotels, outbound and inbound tourism, I took some specializations courses related to heritage and sustainable management, in addition to being a professor of Tourism Sustainability in college since 2012."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"A trip visiting one of the less touristy parts of Northern Argentina: the Yungas region, a cloud forest with unique landscapes and small towns where rural families will welcome you. Nature, culture and archaeological sites make this trip amazing.
I'd like to share with the travelers one of the experiences that I will never forget: spending the night with a rural family in the Northern Region of Argentina, learning recipes of the Andean gastronomy and listening to stories of the ancestors of our hosts.
Community-based tourism is for them a factor of local development and genuine employment, so it is important to value this type of proposal that brings much more than income to rural families. "

I am a well-travelled individual and I have to say, the service Hervé at KimKim provided was second to none. He was able to listen to our intereste and build a detailed, custom trip to exceed our expectations. Not only was every last detail tended to (he would check us in for our flights without being asked, he would make every transfer confirm our pick up, etc) but everything he arranged was top notch. I literally texted Hervé every day of our trip with some question or new request, and he... read more
