We had a safe ride and the driver was easy to find at the airport. We did have to walk with our luggage to find the road which was okay for us but others may not enjoy that. Arriving in ages can be intimidating and Google maps doesn’t work perfectly in the Medina.

We loved this gorge! We went with Mona to the rug co-op and garden. It was beautiful. We had a great experience and Ishmail was always there at the end of the excursion. He made sure we got the bathroom and explained a lot of the history of the place.

We know this was a long drive and the movie studio is a reasonable stop but it wasn’t very interesting to us. The Kashab was beautiful from the outside. It was a crowded and touristy place though and we did t get education on how people lived there we only learned about movies so it did t feel authentic.

Half-Day Guided Tour of Fes Medina

We appreciated Ayoub and his knowledge of Fes. Unfortunately we weren’t prepared for a 6 hour tour and lunch at 3:30 pm. We were told we were doing a 3 hour tour so we got a bit tired and then we went to one of the rug sellers which was not a great experience or one we asked for. We missed the most impressive part of the rias the tanneries because it wasn’t told to us that it was coming and we were too tired after the late lunch to continue with Ayoub. This was mostly a communication problem from Majid because we would have been better prepared for a full day tour if it was told to us.

Again Hammid took great care of us and made the walk interesting and relaxed. He amended the time in the 2nd palace when we expressed our desire to spend time in the market. The team should let him know that we are at the end of a week in Morocco so seeing every palace in depth may feel like overkill. But we thought the world of Hammid and really enjoyed his company. He’s a great guide!

We really loved Ishmail and getting to know him. We felt safe, well informed and accommodated with any needs we had (mostly bathrooms). He understood that we didn’t love crowded or Hollywood type attractions and made sure to prioritize time in the spots we cared to spend more time. He was always on time and super pleasant to be with. We wish he was our guide the whole time!

The highlights of our trip were definitely the tour of the Fes Medina and the camel ride to our luxury camp in the desert. Once in a lifetime experience. Between 2025 December 8th and December 13th, we visited Morocco. During the trip Planning process Majid was very helpful to create a route through the imperial cities of Morocco that fitted our schedule and preferences. The experience of the trip was fantastic. We created amazing memories about Morocco, we were fascinated by their vast culture, their gentle and welcoming people and their astonishing and beautiful cities. Everything runs perfectly. Ismael, our driver during the whole trip, treated us as an old good friend, he filled us up with engaging talks, recommendations about food, curios facts etc. We always felt secure and comfortable. The guides in the different cities were friendly, they looked to us highly prepared for their job, they made it with grace and engaged to communicate the main highlights of each city, building or Medina in order to create an unforgettable experience. The stay on the Riad helps us to make our travel experience closer to Moroccan Culture. We loved it. Finally, we’d like to thank Majid and his team and recommend them to plan your trip to Morocco. Last cue, the weather at this time of the year is fantastic.

Our general guide/driver was Mouad. He was super great, very nice and knowledgeable. He knew when to take breaks on longer drives, without us asking. His attitude was especially nice, friendly and welcoming. He seemed more like a friend showing us the country, than someone paid to do so. Especially important was that he made us feel safe, & he was totally trustworthy. He helped a lot with pointing us in directions that were good when we were on our own. Every place he suggested to eat was great. My wife's birthday dinner exceeded any expectation. He set up surprises for her, like a bouquet of beautiful flowers. He contacted the restaurant & hotel to set up a cake at both places, along with "Happy Birthday" songs at each place. The restaurant was one of the best - Le Cuistat - small, intimate, friendly, and one of the best meals on our trip.

In order to be honest, I need to add that the written itinerary was very detailed and sounded amazing at first glance. It was 39 pages & so detailed that we overlooked some things we needed to question or that should have been pointed out. We choose a trip that included some drives longer than we understood. The itinerary listed some great plans, but there was not enough time to drive and stop at every location listed in the plans. What we saw and did was fantastic! The plans had too much listed & very little time to try some of the options suggested. Some information or suggestions were written twice & listed at different places in the itinerary. We were able to figure this out after we traveled to different places or asked Mouad. Also, the plans did not clearly & simply tell us what meals were included, an easy thing to simply list for each day on the summary itinerary. It was obvious that each stay included breakfast, the other meals were usually not obvious.

Our family trip of 16 was absolutely incredible, and we loved every suggested location and hotel. Our guide, Hamid, and our driver were truly the BEST! They went above and beyond to make us feel safe and to ensure that all of our needs were taken care of — including those of my 5-year-old son. THANK YOU for making this trip unforgettable!

We had an amazing time with Khalid as our guide around Morocco. Our guides in each city we visited made the trip a truly unforgettable experience. The three highlights for me were Fes, the camel excursion into the desert, and Marrakech. Enjoyed the variety of experiences but the medinas were amazingly memorable.

For our trip I think it would have been better to have 14 or more days to cover the vast areas we drove. We did spend a good deal of time driving.

Our recent trip to Morocco was an unforgettable adventure filled with beauty, culture, and moments that truly moved us. From the moment we arrived, everything flowed effortlessly and we owe much of that to our incredible driver and guide, Ismail.
Having a private driver made all the difference. Ismail not only drove with the utmost care and confidence (his vehicle was spacious and extremely comfortable), but more importantly, he made sure we felt safe and cared for every step of the way even when we were off on our own in the souks, museums, or restaurants. His calm presence, local knowledge, and attentiveness gave us the freedom to relax and enjoy the magic of Morocco without worry.
Each city offered something unique:
Rabat surprised us with its cleanliness, upscale vibe and historical richness. A highlight was unexpectedly bumping into the Prince at dinner, it was a surreal and delightful surprise!
Fes was a true cultural immersion from the ancient tanneries to the intricate artisan workshops. Walking the labyrinth of Fes el Bali with a guide felt like traveling back in time.
Marrakech was vibrant and alive, we soaked in the rhythm of the medina, savored exquisite meals, relaxed in lush gardens, and experienced unforgettable moments like a hot air balloon ride which was soul quenching! Not scary at all!
We’re incredibly grateful for every moment, every connection, and everyone who made this journey seamless and memorable.

Majid worked with us closely to craft our fun 2 week itinerary in Morocco, asking us many questions and truly customizing for us. He was so responsive and helpful, and we are so grateful he connected us to Khalid, who was our amazing tour operator. From picking up up in Tangier, driving us all over the countryside to the coast and to many cities and gorgeous sights, to our trip end in exciting Marrakech, Khalid was patient, kind, and very enthusiastic. His love for Morocco really shines and he's a wealth of knowledge himself. We enjoyed our conversations and learned a lot, and Khalid also arranged many fun and interesting individual tours for us in each locale. We hope to have Khalid as our guide again!
