I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for a couple things that happened on the trip, but I won't mention them here.
My husband and I were in Morocco for 14 days. We had one driver for the entire time. Youssef was there for us day and night. He got to know us and we truly enjoyed him. He always made sure we went to clean bathrooms, stopped for good food along the way, and was very knowledgeable about the places we visited.
Most of the guides and experiences were wonderful. The highlight was the desert camp and riding the camels to see the sunset.

We only stayed for two nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The only strange thing was that the bathroom sink was in the bedroom. So if you needed to use it in the middle of the night, there was no way not to disturb your partner.

The highlight of my Moroccan trip was the desert camp. The tent was comfortable with air conditioning. The surroundings were incredibly beautiful with the endless sand dunes. The food was good. The people were friendly and welcoming. The evening music under the stars was wonderful.

As this was our first trip with Kimkim we were not sure what to expect in terms of service and quality of experiences and accommodations. After completing our two-week trip to Morocco though, we were in large part exceptionally pleased with the entire trip experience, although a couple of the accommodations might have been less than advertised. However, this was Africa, so our expectations were mostly commensurate with our locale. From the very beginning of the planning and all through the time we were in-country, our local specialist Majid was always available and checked in with us almost every day to make sure we were enjoying our trip and to offer advice and assistance whenever needed. We made a few on-the-spot changes to our schedule, and he was always accommodating. While we actually never met with Majid in-person, we spent considerable time every day with our driver Yosef. As it turned out, Yosef was probably the most impressive aspect of the entire trip insofar as he made everything run seamless, all the while being a perfect host, ambassador and overall delightful! He truly made us feel as though we were long-time friends, and his warmth and hospitality shone through as bright as the Saharan desert sun! We give him 6 stars for his effort and strongly recommend you request him if you have the opportunity.
We did have one problem that arose regarding a hike Kimkim arranged in Dades that was labelled an "easy" walk. It was anything but, with treacherous rocky and slippery terrain at every step. One of us suffered a serious fall and incurred an unfortunate injury as a result. The lesson here was to be more informed about such outings, and also for Kimkim to be more accurate about the level of a walk they arrange for their senior citizen customers. Aside from this unfortunate accident though, the rest of the trip was fantastic, and we will not hesitate in using Kimkim for our future travels.

As the henna slowly fades from my hand, and the last trace of desert sand from the Sahara falls out of my shoes, my mind still dances to the rhythm of the Berber music that embraced my trip.

The smell of the campfire, the warmth of the mint tea, the smiles that met my eyes in every direction I looked, the warm culture, and that constant peacefulness in the air, have become memories that make my heart flutter.

That feeling of being one with nature, intertwined, fully connected, and grounded to my core, will stay embedded in my soul forever.

The kindness that I received, the kindred spirits that I met along the way, and the many hours of laughter that I shared with everyone I met, will now become a part of my smile that I share daily.

It’s hard to put an adventure like this trip into words to explain to others when they ask “How was your trip?”. I believe strongly that everything happens for a reason, and people are put into our lives on purpose. The people I met along this journey, the connections I made, and the friendships that formed into family will stay in my heart forever!

All I can say is Morocco is stunning, vibrant, and extremely beautiful, and the people are some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my life! Our driver Moha was the absolute best driver anyone could ask for, and we couldn’t have done this trip without his expertise! Moha was extremely nice, forgiving for our lateness, and beyond helpful and accommodating no matter if it was for a pit stop or finding something in particular that we needed. He told us a lot about the country, helped us learn some of the language, laughed with us, and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. By the end of our trip Moha felt like family to us!

The accommodations were spectacular beyond measure! The beauty and the attention to detail blew my mind at the Riad and the Tiziri Desert Camp. Both places had exquisite food, some of the best I’ve ever eaten before. Tiziri Desert camp took me to a new level of happiness I’ve never known, a peacefulness I am excited to revisit!

All in all, this was a trip that dreams are made of, and I couldn’t ask for anything more, except more time there! I can’t wait to go back!!

We were thrilled to find out he would also be taking care of us during breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Yedir’s service was nothing short of anticipatory and impeccable. He timed every meal perfectly, and treated us with a level of genuine warmth and professionalism, all with a smile, that you rarely find. Beyond the perfect service, the culinary experience was spectacular, with every meal beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The nights were equally unforgettable—gathering around the campfire dancing and listening to amazing traditional Berber music under the desert stars was the perfect way to wind down. It is clear that the entire team works in flawless harmony to deliver an exceptional stay to their guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip to Morocco!! From planning the epic trip to final execution, the process was flawless.
Our guide, Mohamed, made certain every aspect of our vacation was exactly what we had been dreaming about. He made every effort so that we had everything we needed even down to finding a store open during siesta for the extra luggage we needed for our purchases! This includes stops for sodas, incidentals, two trips to find my perfect minerals and rearranging our camel ride to the next day so we would experience a cloudless sunset ride!! We could not have had a better guide, he is a true gem!! Of course, he was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer any and all questions about the local culture and cities we visited.

Dar Rihana Dades was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Every aspect to this beautiful Riad was thoughtfully planned from the floors to the ceilings. It was magnificent. The food there was the amazing, probably the best of the entire trip. I would have loved to have been able to stay an additional night. Mohamed at Dar Rihana was amazing and he even took the time to show us the new pool and additional rooms the riad was in the process of building. I’m definitely looking forward to a future visit here, hopefully soon.
The Desert Camp was beyond all expectations!! The staff, excursions, food, entertainment and Berber hospitality were top notch. We could not have wanted for a better experience and would not change a thing about our vacation. I honestly feel we have friends in Morocco now and look forward to seeing everyone again.

We had a wonderful trip to Morocco thanks to Majid and his team. He was on too of everything, responding to our requests and needs right away, and he worked within our budget. We enjoyed the company of our driver Hamza, and our various guides who were knowledgeable, punctual and very polite. Some hotels were better than others, but the staff was always very accommodating and lovely people.
We would absolutely plan another trip with KimKim, and highly recommend Majid to help plan your Moroccan adventure!

Our 7 night adventure was a perfect immersion into the history and culture of Morocco. Majid gave us the best program to see and explore the old cities and experience the food. Zaid was an amazing driver and saw that we had smooth transitions. The individual guides in each city gave us local knowledge and took us to see the best places. Hakim, our guide in Fes, was amazing and our favorite. Ishmael, our guide in Marrakech, helped us explore the old market. We had a private dinner prepared by chef Madi. We loved our overnight in Agafay. Mohamed spent time telling us about life in the Sahara desert. And last was a perfect ending with a wonderful experience doing a traditional Hamam.
We totally recommend KumKim for a great Moroccan adventure.

Hamsa was a wonderful guide and I had a great time. I didn’t have very long but he made sure I got to enjoy the city, the Mosque, and we had an excellent late breakfast at a local restaurant. The hotel Majid arranged was really nice, comfortable and a wonderful breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend. Five stars all around and I will definitely be back for a longer tour of Morocco when I have more time. Two big thumbs up!!
