Majid was born into a nomad family in the Sahara Desert and began guiding tourists into the desert when I was a boy. Now with professional qualifications, fluent in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Berber. How did you get involved in travel?

"Born in Sahara Desert of Morocco, Since I opened my eyes I found tourists around me from all over the world. Since that time I started to have ideas about traveling and about the world entirely from the tourists. I have started to pick up words and sentences from deferent languages until I can speak various languages now. From that time I started guiding travelers around Sahara desert then I have worked in several local agencies in Morocco as a guide. now, I focus on escorted guided small groups around Morocco led by a licensed private tour guide."

"In the middle of Sahara Desert since 20 years ago. I encountered a French couple stuck their vehicle in the sand while driving in the desert to reach Merzouga Erg Chebbi sand dunes. I have come to rescue them. but, their vehicle was totally stuck in the sand; no way to move it. So I decided to give them a ride by my moto bike so as they would not miss the sunset in Erg Chebbi sand dunes. On the first ride, I took the wife to the hotel. then I comeback to give a ride to the husband. It was a unique travel experience for me. Now they are my best friends and I visit them time to time in Paris. "

We had an amazing time with Khalid as our guide around Morocco. Our guides in each city we visited made the trip a truly unforgettable experience. The three highlights for me were Fes, the camel excursion into the desert, and Marrakech. Enjoyed the variety of experiences but the medinas were amazingly memorable. For our trip I think it would have been better to have 14 or more days to cover the vast areas we drove. We did spend a good deal of time driving. Read more

It is so nice to have worked with Majid in planning the trip. Khalid was attentive, kind, on time, informative and definitely knew how to drive in Morocco!
We saw so much from ruins to mosques to the cities and the camels in the desert. The markets were oh, so unique. It was good to see the countryside and the towns and cities and diversity.

Our recent trip to Morocco was an unforgettable adventure filled with beauty, culture, and moments that truly moved us. From the moment we arrived, everything flowed effortlessly and we owe much of that to our incredible driver and guide, Ismail.
Having a private driver made all the difference. Ismail not only drove with the utmost care and confidence (his vehicle was spacious and extremely comfortable), but more importantly, he made sure we felt safe and cared for every step of the way even when we were off on our own in the souks, museums, or restaurants. His calm presence, local knowledge, and attentiveness gave us the freedom to relax and enjoy the magic of Morocco without worry.
Each city offered something unique:
Rabat surprised us with its cleanliness, upscale vibe and historical richness. A highlight was unexpectedly bumping into the Prince at dinner, it was a surreal and delightful surprise!
Fes was a true cultural immersion from the ancient tanneries to the intricate artisan workshops. Walking the labyrinth of Fes el Bali with a guide felt like traveling back in time.
Marrakech was vibrant and alive, we soaked in the rhythm of the medina, savored exquisite meals, relaxed in lush gardens, and experienced unforgettable moments like a hot air balloon ride which was soul quenching! Not scary at all!
We’re incredibly grateful for every moment, every connection, and everyone who made this journey seamless and memorable.

He was patient and responsive to the changes we wanted. Ultimately, we devised a trip that suited us, one that took us to our cities and areas of choice: Rabat, Mesnik, Fes, Essauria, Marakesh, The Atlas Mountains, The Saharan Desert. We were assigned to Mostafa as our overall guide and driver. He was wonderful, always available, and helped us understand the Moroccan culture and sites. We even enjoyed a most delicious Couscous with his family. His driving was excellent. Eric and I highly recommend him. Asram, our guide in Rabbat was exceptional, Rashid in Essuiaria was very good.

The Riads were wonderful and the hotel in the gorge was beautiful, modern and clearly the owners were paying attention to detail. the food the that hotel was excellent! We had a great experience working with Majid and kimkim especially as we arranged our trip without a lot of lead time. Majid helped us quickly plan a wonderful 10-day trip through a good part of Morocco (Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Boumalne Dades/Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh) which allowed us to experience many of the country's beautiful traditions, culture and people. He organised an excellent and friendly driver, Ismail, who spent countless hours on the road with us and was always happy to share facts, language lessons, tips, insights, and excellent restaurant recommendations. He quickly became one of our most trusted resources and good friend. Both Majid and Ismail were always keen to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves and seeing the best of Morocco. They were in constant touch from the beginning to the end.

Travelling in a small group of only two women, I was pleased with the accommodations selected by Majid. They were always beautiful, safe, and offered exactly what we needed in each city whether that was a beautiful view or a cool respite. Our activities were varied yet tailored to our requests and many of the associated individual guides/hosts always very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the cooking class with Rania, Latifa and their families who so kindly welcomed us into their home for the evening. We also appreciated Mohammed, our expert guide through the Dades Gorge, providing an impromptu opportunity to share mint tea with his Berber friend and learn first-hand about Berber families and culture.

This amazing dar is charm x 1000. Every detail - colour, textures, patterns - is found throughout the property. It is truly an immersive experience of Moroccan culture. The views of Chefchaouen from the rooftop are incredible and are thoroughly enjoyed while having a tasty breakfast with plenty of fresh juice, coffee and mint tea. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and of course matched the beautiful decor of the dar. It's location was well positioned for getting right into Chefchaouen, making it very easy to get out and explore on your own.

This was a beautful hotel with great amenities including a gorgeous rooftop pool. Our stay was very short but we found it very comfortable, clean, and well located to our actvities that day (a hike through the Dades Gorge).

Our biggest regret is that we were only there for one night having arrived in the late afternoon and then headed out the next morning. During our short time there, the staff were simply amazing. They took care of getting us across the desert to the camp, created a delicious meal for dinner, provided musical evening entertainment, and then were up again the next day preparing breakfast and getting us ready to head out. The camp itself was beautful and well appointed, with comfortable bedrooms, but I think it was the staff that made it all the more special.

During our entire trip we were very well cared for. Knowledge snd communication skills of drivers and guides made us feel very comfortable. Which enhanced our experience of beautiful Morocco
Ahmed our 1 driver was especially friendly and fun to be with. He made our safety his highest concern.
The 2nd driver back to Casablanca took us to FedEx. When well left he made sure to ask if we had all our belongs including getting passport back. Which was not given back to me. So I was able to go... Read more
