We had a short 5 days and a long wish list of ideas. Majid helped us narrow down the itinerary to get the most out of that time and he delivered more than we imagined. Every detail was thoughtfully considered from the locations to explore, unique and authentic stays, specific activity options and overall timing to ensure we did not overbook our time nor have unnecessary lulls. Our driver and guide, Youssef, was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He kept us on schedule while also indulging our desire to be spontaneous in our explorations. His advice was always spot on. We HIGHLY recommend the KimKim team and will certainly work with them in the future.

We had a wonderful experience in our 10 day trip from Marrakesh, to Agafay, Rabat, ending in Fes. The Riads were all enchanting, specially for its beauty the Elegance in Marrakesh and for its majestic arabic palacial environment and distinguished personnel the Hanel garden in Fes. The visits of the beautifull gardens, magnificent Medinas, Volubilis, learning the history and traditions, was a lifetime experience, all timely toured and nicely personalized . Most importantly, and what I would say provides most of the merit for a relatively high priced trip, was the extraordinary care, diligence, amability, and problema solving of our driver/host Ismael. We always felt very comfortable and safe and well taken care of with my wife, daughter and grandaughter throughout the 10 day visit/drive from city to city and within the city. Overall food menues specially in the desert glamping can be improved for a more luxurious experience (specially for 10 data were Food becomes rather repetitive)..but nevertheless we managed by searching for restaurants with great help from Ismael (as well as for shopping). The trip to the hills was interesting but excesively crowded during the short hike (this tour can be improved). These Small limitations, which we enjoyed anyways (the food and the trip to the Atlas hills/mountains), did not affect at all a great family experience in Marrocco; thank you very much.

We went on this trip rather last minute after other travel plans fell through. Thanks to Majid everything came together beautifully within a week. He created a truly memorable vacation for us. During the trip Majid was always available to change things around and check in on us. The highlight of the trip? Our driver Yussef! If you are spending hours with somebody in a car you better feel comfortable with that person. Yussef was a great driver (I tend to get car sick and even in the mountains I was fine!). He was super punctual, reliable, entertaining, and genuinely friendly. He waited for us while we had dinner to drive us to the hotel, brought us to places that weren't even mentioned in the itinerary and always kept his good humor even when the weather and traffic were awful. I highly recommend him to anybody planning a trip to Morocco.
We saw a lot on this trip - Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volublis, Meknes, Fes, Merzouga, Dades Gorge, Boumaine Dades, Ait Benhaddou, Marrakesh, Essaouira and every place was a wonderful experience and I am glad we didn't skip any place because of the sometimes long drives. Besides the cities it was the cultural experiences and guides that made this trip extra special.

Glamping in the desert? This is the place to go. The tents are like hotel rooms with comfy bed, small sitting area, and bathroom. They even provide short djellaba which was appreciated in the cool evening. They provide dinner and breakfast in a beautiful dining room with fire place. Staff makes music around the fire pit in the evening. Only thing to improve could be the quality of the meat in the main course.

Charming Riad, beautifully designed. Staff was super friendly and enthusiastic, trying to make us comfortable. The room felt like the honeymoon suite with large bathtub and rose petals everywhere. The dinner was very good - you have to order an hour before you would like to eat which is the case in many riads. We had a drink by the fireplace before dinner and the young man serving us was rearranging the furniture to make us more comfortable.

This was such a let down as the last hotel of our trip. I almost thought of checking out and going somewhere else. The place is plain dirty. Hair and crumbs everywhere. Stains on the carpets. I don't know when someone last wiped down the surfaces because there were spills and gooey marks on everything. The breakfast room wasn't clean either. Total disaster. The staff was nice enough but the hotel itself can not be recommended at all.

Essaouira is very small and easy to navigate so you don't really need a guide. Our guide was very nice but the information was rather limited and I felt like I had to ask questions. I wished there would have been more story telling.

Standing inside the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca was breathtaking—the sheer scale and beauty of it left us in awe. And in true Morocco fashion, the diversity amazed us: we went from snow in the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert in just 12 hours.

This trip was rich, diverse, thoughtfully planned, and truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend KimKim to anyone considering Morocco—especially travelers who want depth, authenticity, and unforgettable experiences.

There was so much more we explored and experienced. 2 weeks was a great length of time to experience what Morocco has to offer. Anything shorter I think you would be missing out.

We loved Morocco and felt the planning done by Jayway was perfectly suited to our needs. We loved not having to pay for each service and stay and the flow of care provide by our guide and driver Ishmail. The other short term guides were local and e appreciated that. Ishmail and Majid worked well with us to make sure we were comfortable and adjusted for our early arrival and our requests for times for our excursions. We know this was a long drive and the movie studio is a reasonable stop but it wasn’t very interesting to us. The Kashab was beautiful from the outside. We appreciated Ayoub and his knowledge of Fes. Unfortunately we weren’t prepared for a 6 hour tour and lunch at 3:30 pm. We were told we were doing a 3 hour tour so we got a bit tired and then we went to one of the rug sellers which was not a great experience or one we asked for. We missed the most impressive part of the rias the tanneries because it wasn’t told to us that it was coming and we were too tired after the late lunch to continue with Ayoub. This was mostly a communication problem from Majid because we would have been better prepared for a full day tour if it was told to us.

Again Hammid took great care of us and made the walk interesting and relaxed. He amended the time in the 2nd palace when we expressed our desire to spend time in the market. The team should let him know that we are at the end of a week in Morocco so seeing every palace in depth may feel like overkill. But we thought the world of Hammid and really enjoyed his company. He’s a great guide!

Between 2025 December 8th and December 13th, we visited Morocco. During the trip Planning process Majid was very helpful to create a route through the imperial cities of Morocco that fitted our schedule and preferences. The experience of the trip was fantastic. We created amazing memories about Morocco, we were fascinated by their vast culture, their gentle and welcoming people and their astonishing and beautiful cities. Everything runs perfectly. Ismael, our driver during the whole trip, treated us as an old good friend, he filled us up with engaging talks, recommendations about food, curios facts etc. We always felt secure and comfortable. The guides in the different cities were friendly, they looked to us highly prepared for their job, they made it with grace and engaged to communicate the main highlights of each city, building or Medina in order to create an unforgettable experience. The stay on the Riad helps us to make our travel experience closer to Moroccan Culture. We loved it. Finally, we’d like to thank Majid and his team and recommend them to plan your trip to Morocco. Last cue, the weather at this time of the year is fantastic.

Our general guide/driver was Mouad. He was super great, very nice and knowledgeable. He knew when to take breaks on longer drives, without us asking. His attitude was especially nice, friendly and welcoming. He seemed more like a friend showing us the country, than someone paid to do so. Especially important was that he made us feel safe, & he was totally trustworthy. He helped a lot with pointing us in directions that were good when we were on our own. Every place he suggested to eat was great. My wife's birthday dinner exceeded any expectation. He set up surprises for her, like a bouquet of beautiful flowers. He contacted the restaurant & hotel to set up a cake at both places, along with "Happy Birthday" songs at each place. The restaurant was one of the best - Le Cuistat - small, intimate, friendly, and one of the best meals on our trip.

In order to be honest, I need to add that the written itinerary was very detailed and sounded amazing at first glance. It was 39 pages & so detailed that we overlooked some things we needed to question or that should have been pointed out. We choose a trip that included some drives longer than we understood. The itinerary listed some great plans, but there was not enough time to drive and stop at every location listed in the plans. What we saw and did was fantastic! The plans had too much listed & very little time to try some of the options suggested. Some information or suggestions were written twice & listed at different places in the itinerary. We were able to figure this out after we traveled to different places or asked Mouad. Also, the plans did not clearly & simply tell us what meals were included, an easy thing to simply list for each day on the summary itinerary. It was obvious that each stay included breakfast, the other meals were usually not obvious.
