Emma Darsu
I grew up in northern France but my roots are in the Basque Country, a region that sparked my love for wild landscapes, mountain adventures, ocean breezes and its rich culinary culture.
Over the years, I’ve lived in different parts of France and abroad, each move deepening my appreciation for new cultures and ways of life. I’m passionate about hiking, slow exploration and creating meaningful travel experiences.
When I came back to France, I realized just how fabulous my own country is : from windswept coasts and alpine mountain trails to historic villages and vibrant cities.
What drives me is helping travelers discover France with the same sense of wonder and connection that inspires me every day.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I create bespoke travel experiences throughout France from iconic Parisian neighborhoods and Loire Valley châteaux to the wild beauty of the Basque Country and the cultural heritage of Lorraine / Alsace. Whether you’re seeking hidden-gem discoveries or a relaxing city getaway, I’ll design a journey perfectly tailored to your pace and personal travel style."
How did you get involved in travel?
"During my studies in events and communications, I completed an internship in London in a travel agency followed by a student exchange in Vienna. These experiences strengthened my passion for international environments and cultural exchange.
Since then, I’ve worked for many years as a project manager in the MICE sector, organizing seminars and corporate events across France and abroad.
Today, I’ve joined the Trip My France team to design exclusive, tailor-made travel experiences for travelers eager to discover France in an authentic way. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I spent an unforgettable year in New Zealand and the experience was nothing short of magical. I had the opportunity to fly over glaciers, try ice climbing and travel the country in my own van as I explored both the North and South Islands. Along the way, I discovered steaming volcanoes, crystal-clear hot springs and pristine native forests, immersing myself in the country’s extraordinary natural diversity. That year shaped my adventurous spirit. "
