Born and raised in the vibrant country of Ecuador, I am the ideal person to craft a unique and unforgettable trip within my homeland. My passion for travel and exploring new and exciting places knows no bounds. From the enchanting landscapes to the captivating culture, I wholeheartedly believe that Ecuador, Galapagos, Colombia, and Peru are exceptional destinations that offer a treasure trove of experiences.

Ecuador, despite its modest size, boasts an incredible diversity of sights and sounds. From the majestic Andes mountains and lush rainforests to the pristine beaches along the Pacific coast, our country is a paradise for nature enthusiasts. The Galapagos Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer an extraordinary opportunity to encounter diverse wildlife found nowhere else on Earth.

As your travel planner, my mission is to ensure that every single traveler has an extraordinary time exploring our beautiful countries. I will meticulously design an itinerary that aligns with your interests, taking you off the beaten path to hidden gems and ensuring you soak in the essence of each place we visit. Together, we'll create memories that will last a lifetime, and you'll carry a piece of our culture and natural wonders in your heart wherever you go. So let's embark on this exciting adventure together, and I promise you an experience like no other!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

" I'm all about creating amazing experiences in the beautiful regions of Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, and the enchanting Galapagos Islands. What makes me unique is my knack for designing personalized adventures that go beyond the usual touristy stuff. If you're a solo adventurer, a couple seeking some romance, a group of friends, or a family looking for an unforgettable journey, I've got you covered! Let's craft a one-of-a-kind trip that will leave you with memories to cherish forever. Get ready for an exciting adventure like no other!"

How did you get involved in travel?

"Travel has been a huge part of my life from the very beginning. I've gone to simple places like the beach with my entire family and even ventured alone to far-off destinations thousands of miles away. Let me tell you, each and every place I've visited has given me so much - it's like my life and the whole world suddenly became so much bigger and richer. After years of gaining experience and learning the ropes, I'm now thrilled to be a part of an incredible travel company. But it's not just any company; we're like a tight-knit family, exploring the world together and making unforgettable memories. Life is truly one amazing journey!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Choosing just one experience is tough, but if I had to, there's one that stands out, and I believe everyone can relate to that feeling. It was my first solo trip, a moment I had eagerly planned for months, saving up every penny to make it happen. When I finally arrived at that special place, Cuenca, a charming town in the southern part of Ecuador, life felt nothing short of extraordinary.

Cuenca holds a unique place in my heart, and I always encourage anyone visiting Ecuador to include it in their itinerary. The warmth of its people, the delightful cuisine, and the enchanting ambiance at every corner make it a truly magical destination. That trip marked a turning point in my life, and the memories I made there will forever remain some of the most cherished moments in my heart."

This was my 5th time using trip planning services through Kimkim. I continue to use Kimkim because of the great service the company provides. I don't have time to plan the type of detailed trip I want with everything set up in advance, but Alvaro took great care of me. He listened to what I wanted and made sure all the details were addressed. I didn't have time to arrange the domestic flights, so he took care of those, too. He did a great job of putting together a fun trip. I love how Kimkim is also constantly available on a day-to-day basis -- explaining what we can expect, making sure guides assist with every transfer and all transportation, and ready to make adjustments or answer questions as needed. Sebastian helped us on the mainland and Carolina helped us on the Galápagos and both were readily accessible. All of the guides Kimkim hires are knowledgeable and helpful and, on every trip, we have at least two or three guides who go above and beyond and are absolutely amazing. If you're in Quito, ask for Francisco! He made great suggestions, knew a ton about the city and its fauna, brought us treats in the morning, and even took his by his house to taste a traditional drink that his mom makes. In the Amazon, Marcelo was exceptionally knowledgeable and helped us see birds and monkeys I know we would have missed on our own.

Hotel Reviews
El Barranco
Santa Cruz

This was, by far, our favorite hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, the rooms were lovely, the AC was perfect, & the staff was friendly & helpful. We loved that we could take our breakfast outdoors. The patio & area by the pool & bar was lovely, & Denzel, the bartender, was the best. It was clear how much pride he took in his work & he made our evenings a lot of fun.

Although we were pleased to have AC, this was probably our least favorite hotel, although I can't entirely say why we felt that way. The location was great -- very convenient to shops & restaurants & the pier -- & the rooms were spacious. My room had an amazing view. The manager was surprisingly gruff when guests were asking for towels for the day. Although I was able to get some for the day, the manager refused to give them to other guests, saying that the tour boats were obligated to provide them -- but they did not. The to-go breakfast was also inedible & a lot of the baked items & breads were stale at the regular breakfast. I also ended up with ants in my toothpaste....

Yasuní Ecolodge
Quito

A great team & great service. Nice bar, too. We were definitely glad that we stayed here & not the lodge that was another two hours upstream. Although we had been encouraged to stay for 3 nights, I'm glad we only stayed two because I'm not convinced we would have seen much that was new with another day (& it was HOT & buggy). The food was decent.

Mercure Alameda Quito
Quito

Nice hotel, but nothing special. Not in a particularly interesting area, but it felt safe. The hotel does not have AC, which was fine in my room since my window didn't face the main street, but it was a problem for my daughter, whose room faced a busy street. Breakfast was good, though, & the service was great.

Not one of our best dinners. Decent, but not impressive. In retrospect, we should have planned more of our own meals, especially since I was traveling with people who were good at doing that.

Welcome Back to Quito
Welcome Back to Quito
Ecuador

I've already covered how we didn't do the experience that had been planned for us on this day & went to Papallacta instead of returning to Quito. I'm giving this portion of the day just 2 stars because the hotel arrangements for this evening frustrated me. One place in my detailed travel plan stated that we were going to be staying at a hotel at the airport on the evening between Yasuní & San Cristóbal. I didn't notice, however, that the actual hotel planned for this evening was in Quito. With an early morning flight, we saw no reason to be in Quito for the night, so I ended up paying an extra $300 to stay out at the airport. The travel document shouldn't have contradicted itself. That still bugs me. And even if we had gone into Quito for the afternoon (& dinner), staying near the airport made much more sense for this evening between the two major portions of our trip.

Good Bye Dinner in Quito
Good Bye Dinner in Quito
Quito

We did not need this activity. By the end, we were too tired to do a 90-minute round trip for a meal. Plus, the restaurants that had been picked for us were not up to the standards the foodies in my group had in mind. Fortunately, Sebastian was able to allow us to eat wherever we chose & applied the money I had already paid to the meal we chose to have in the hotel at the airport. I very much appreciated Sebastian's willingness to modify activities and, when possible, to apply funds for one activity to another activity. That was definitely concierge-level service.

Speedboat to Santa Cruz Island, Highlands -Charles Darwin Station (Small group)
Speedboat to Santa Cruz Island, Highlands -Charles Darwin Station (Small group)
Galapagos Islands

Charles Darwin Station gets 5 stars, but the speedboat gets 1 star. I'm not sure there was any other way to get from San Cristóbal to Santa Cruz, however. It's a really long & grueling boat ride -- choppy, lots of fumes, cramped -- especially if you have someone with you who's prone to seasickness. The drive into the highlands was lovely, though, & it was fun seeing the Giant Tortoises. The food at the farm was also very good. Aside from the boat ride, my only complaints about the day were that breakfast wasn't really figured into a day that started very early (because the to-go breakfast was a thin slice of cheese between two small pieces of toast) & the day ended too soon. It seemed like there could have been recommendations for what to do in the afternoon (although we loved Santa Cruz a lot & found lots of interesting art shops to visit).

Welcome to San Cristóbal Island! Visit the Interpretation Center, Tijeretas Hill, or La Lobería
Galapagos Islands

I'm not sure we did all these things this day & I don't know if we went to Tijeretas Hill at all. All I'm sure we did was snorkel & that was probably at La Lobería. The Interpretation Center was a definite waste of time, but the snorkeling was excellent. Our guide in San Cristóbal was Esteban & I would definitely say that he was the one guide that did not impress us. I understand that he had recently returned to work from a serious motorcycle accident, & he has my deepest sympathy for his injury, but it's odd to pair a guide who walks with a cane with a traveler who has emphasized how active & busy a trip she wants. We definitely had to slow our walking pace down for Esteban. In addition, Esteban was the only one of our guides throughout the trip who really struggled with English. We would ask him a question, & he would answer a completely different question. He did not seem to know as much about flora, fauna, and Ecuadorian history as, say, Francisco or Marcelo (our favorite guides).

All the drivers were great & right on time. They were also patient about waiting for us when they needed to do so. They were extremely helpful. Sometimes, though, we didn't really need car transportation in the Galápagos. We were happy to do a 5- or 10-minute walk on our own. We had traveled light so we could also easily do a half-mile walk with our luggage. If you're going to hike for 2.5 miles, you don't need a car for the .5-mile walk to where the hike starts.

Kayaking Adventure in Tortuga Bay & Afternoon Bay Tour of Santa Cruz Island
Kayaking Adventure in Tortuga Bay & Afternoon Bay Tour of Santa Cruz Island
Puerto Ayora

The kayak trip was great. The walk out to the kayaks was lovely, too, although we should have been informed that we'd be walking probably 5-6 miles in total because, once again, some of us did not have the right shoes on for the distance. We saw a lot of birds, fish, & sea turtles & Tortuga Beach was a lovely place to kayak. I would give that activity 5 stars. We were less satisfied with the afternoon snorkel trip. The visibility & what we were able to see during the snorkeling was great, but the trip itself was not entirely great. First, there were too many people in the group (15) so the boat felt crowded, & too many of them had never snorkeled & weren't even capable swimmers. There was only one guide in the water & it was impossible for him to manage 15 people with varying abilities in choppy water. I've never been kicked while snorkeling so many times in my life. Plus, the guide didn't provide enough information as to where we would go once we were in the water, so everyone was a bit confused. There was also a weird occurrence when we got off the boat. Someone from the agency came to pick up our gear, but we didn't have any gear from a dive shop. All we had was what was on the boat & those snorkel masks were annoyingly cheap (no valves, poor fit) & we didn't even have flippers, which definitely would have been nice to have. Also, the hike to the lava formation was nice & the formations themselves were beautiful, but that spot was way too crowded for any swimming or snorkeling. We ended up at the bar along the way.

Kicker Rock: A Snorkeling Adventure
Kicker Rock: A Snorkeling Adventure
Isla San Cristóbal

This day was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. We loved that there was a place where the divers in our party could dive but where those of us who could only snorkel could snorkel. The divers loved that they got two dives, thought they had a great dive master, & enjoyed what they could see (including sharks!). We all saw sea turtles, lots of colorful fish, &, of course, the ubiquitous sea lions. It was also great that we got outfitted the day before so we were prepared with well-fitting gear for the dive & snorkel trip. The young people also loved the chance to swim to the beach & have a little beach time. My daughter is an avid sheller & loved the shells she could find (but accepted that she couldn't keep them).

Return to El Coca - Flight back to Quito (Napo Cultural Center)
Ecuador

I'm going to use this space to address internal flights & our replacement activity for July 29th. First off, I was grateful that Alvaro took care of making the internal reservations, but I wish I had given him information about our seating preferences on airplanes. Also, it became clear that our afternoon activity was really something we'd already done -- i.e., a visit to Old Town with a food tour. Fortunately, Francisco recommended a replacement activity -- a trip out to Papallacta & the young people loved that. I know they love hot springs & massages, but I didn't know there was an option for that near Quito. Along the way, Francisco also gave the young foodies a chance to try some type of cane sugar cocktail & they enjoyed that a lot. My favorite part of the outing was the absolutely lovely 2.5-mile hike behind the Papallacta hot springs. I've already recommended Papallacta to my sister, who travels to Ecuador a lot, because her husband loves hot springs & massages. The kids loved the price on the massages.

Adventure Day at Yasuní National Park and mystical Night walk (Napo Cultural Center)
Adventure Day at Yasuní National Park and mystical Night walk (Napo Cultural Center)
Ecuador

The whole Yasuní experience was fantastic. We had two wonderful guides, Marcelo & Lucas (sp?), who worked hard to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. One highlight of the Yasuní trip was the sunrise bird-watching & the skill the guides had at finding birds, knowing what they were, & making sure we saw them. The canoe ride where we saw caimans & several species of monkeys was the other highlight, but we also enjoyed our visit to the women's cultural center. It was interesting to learn about the work the women are doing & aspects of Quechua culture, & the small shop was a terrific place to get small souvenirs. We all tried cooked palm larva (not as bad as beetles). I strongly recommend bringing along someone who is willing to eat raw palm larva, as that will entertain everyone. We had thought we were going to do something in the village at 4:30 am on our last day, but the guides didn't seem enthused & we were tired because the sunrise bird watch had been really early, so we skipped that. The lodge & the food were basically what we expected -- not luxurious, but fine. And the staff was incredible.

Mindo Cloud Forest
Mindo Cloud Forest
Ecuador

This day was a little confusing. The day turned out great, but it was another day when I wasn't sure what the options were or how to choose between them. The butterfly garden & bird sanctuary were amazing & fun. The drive out to Mindo was lovely. I thought we were going to go tubing, but we ended up zip lining at the recommendation of our guide & I guess that was okay. At first, I thought we would have time for both, but that didn't work out. We should not have tried to squeeze in the chocolate factory, as we didn't really have time for the tour. Instead, the guide suggested that we use the $40 allotted to purchase chocolate & souvenirs. Since I didn't know what else to do, we did that, but I wasn't really happy spending $40 that way. And since we did the upgraded zip line, I had to spend $40 there. I would have preferred the $40 to be applied to the zip lining (which was great, even though it was not, as billed, a way to see birds or wildlife). I also want to mention that Francisco was a fabulous guide. The young people in my group especially loved him. He was fun, funny, knowledgeable, made great suggestions, & recommended little add-ons (especially opportunities for my young foodies to try local foods) that were great. His English was outstanding, too. Since we had basically done the post-Yasuni afternoon on our first day, he also gave us a great recommendation for that afternoon -- Papallacta.

Cable Car & Parque Metropolitano Guangüiltagua
Cable Car & Parque Metropolitano Guangüiltagua
Quito

We enjoyed the view of the city & the ride up in the cable car. This is one activity, though, where we would have benefited from having more information. Alvaro made it sound as if it was an easy hike. It was, but only because we barely hiked, as we weren't prepared for the altitude or the distance. I would have liked to have hiked farther, but since Alvaro made it sound as if it was a short hike (which it definitely didn't need to be), I didn't have my walking sticks with me, & the kids didn't have the right shoes. In addition, had I thought about the altitude, I would have asked for this activity to be scheduled for day 2 to give us a chance to adjust to the altitude. Once we finished the hike, it didn't make sense for us to go to the park (which didn't look terribly interesting when I finally googled it) because we needed to eat. So we ended up going to Old Town, which was great -- a nice lunch, a tour of the churches (the Basilica was stunning), and then an artisan market. I needed to have looked at activities in more detail before I left for the trip, but that was hard to do. Overall, I would say that I asked Alvaro various times how long activities would take & when we would start & finish the day, & I didn't get enough information from him to be helpful. Also, on this day, I had asked Alvaro to make reservations at a specific restaurant & discovered that he hadn't done it -- & that he hadn't done so for subsequent evenings, either. That turned out not to matter much, but it did bother me that he said he would do that & didn't.

Our kids gave the trip a 9.5/10 which is a huge win. This was our first time using a travel service and Kimkim and our overall experience was fantastic. Alvaro helped us plan the initial logistics and create an itinerary that covered a lot of ground in Ecuador. Sebastian was super helpful at coordinating all the logistics on the ground and even came to meet us in Quito. We were so lucky to have Christian as an incredible tour guide for the first week. He felt like part of the family and even watched World Cup games with us. He has an incredibly kind heart and is a pleasure to be around and really cared for every detail of the trip. He is also a foodie and took us to some delicious meals and always had great recommendations. He did great with our teens as well. Lastly, he has an encyclopedic knowledge of birds, flora and fauna and I wish we had done the cloud forest or the jungle with him but he still managed to share a ton of info. Our itinerary was aggressive from a driving/distance traveling standpoint and we could not have done it without the input of our guides/team. We started in Quito, went to Mitad del Mundo then Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, before heading to Baños for a few days (so fun!) then drove down to Cuenca where we sadly said goodbye to Christian. Genaro took over guiding duties and he was delightful as well- very knowledgeable, interesting, kind and did a great job. We especially loved our Cajas hike with him and were very grateful he was the driver in the descent to Guayaquil! Finally, Carolina helped Sebastian with the arrangements in the Galapagos and all of our guides helped make transit easy. We stayed on Santa Cruz for a few nights but Isabela stole our hearts! Hotel Abermarle was perfect.
Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend using Kimkim for an Ecuadorian adventure. Thank you Alvaro, Sebastian and all involved!

Diego came and picked us up from the hotel at 6:30 for the water taxi ride to the mainland. Then we went on a bus to the other side of the island to catch Galápagos Shark - our boat for the tour. It was a 2 hour sometimes rough ride to the island. On board our guide for the day explained the day’s itinerary very clearly I appreciated. They started the trip with some snacks of bananas and crackers. On Bartolome island our guide took us on the hike to the topmost point of the volcanic island. On the way he provided us with a very good overview of the history and geology of the island. About 1 hour. We came back to the boat and then the boat took us to a sheltered cove where my daughter and others snorkeled. Since my husband and I didn’t snorkel- we stayed on the boat and had a pleasant time observing the views and chatting with a couple of others who didn’t snorkel either. This was a much better experience for us. We had lunch after the snorkeling was over and it was good with fish/ veggies/ salad and a dessert. After lunch we started our way back. Just before we reached home dock - the boat provided us with Champagne and another dessert to commemorate a successful day at sea.

Quality of Experience
The trip was a combination of hiking and snorkeling and we enjoyed the hiking while my daughter enjoyed both.

In Floreana we first went on a hike to the highlands where our guide gave us an excellent explanation of the history and geography of the island. We followed the footsteps of the pioneers of the island and then the first Germans who made their way to what they claimed at that time and is still true day “the last peaceful earth” After a yummy lunch in a local restaurant my daughter went off on a snorkeling trip. He also took us on a small circle around the Kicker rock to show us some of the best features from the boat but that was all he could do. Lunch on the boat was provided after the diving activities were over. Lunch was ok.

Quality of Experience
Its a good thing that we like to watch birds - because this trip was very boring for us. This was for the divers. However my daughter enjoyed since she could snorkel.

There was a mechanical problem with the morning boat so we went on the afternoon boat. Jose was very helpful and informed us about this problem the night before. He booked us seats on the afternoon ferry and also rearranged some of the trips that were scheduled on that day. We reached San Cristobal around 5. Angie met us on the dock and accompanied us to the store where Saveri got fitted on a wet suit and snorkeling gear. She then dropped us off at the hotel. She was very efficient. She explained what we were going to be doing on San Cristóbal for the next three days. This included when we would be picked up, who would pick us up and what we would be doing on the trip. That was very helpful.

AM interpretation center, beach and lunch at local restaurant. This was the rescheduled trip to accomodate the change in boat ride the day before. PM - speed boat back to Santa Cruz Christian picked us up and took us to the interpretation center where the history of the island as well as the contribution of Darwin was shown. He explained everything to us as we walked from one exhibit to another. This is what I would have expected from Enrique on Day 1. He also explained the natural history of the island very well. The walk to the beach was very interesting and we spent some time there but did not swim or snorkel. After lunch at the local restaurant (which was excellent) we were dropped off at the pier and took the boat back to Santa Cruz

Quality of Experience
Christian gave us a very good overview of the history and geology of the place. His knowledge of Darwin's journey in the area was also very good.
Food
The lunch at the local restuarant was very good.

In the water we, swam with countless colorful fish, sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, sea snakes, sharks and penguins. We were offered and tried traditional cuisine: fish-head soup and guinea pig. Some of our favorite memories came from swimming in a hidden beach with large waves. At night, sharks would circle our boat, sometimes having a feeding frenzy for all the flying fish attracted to lights. Sea Lions sometimes hopped on the back of our boat. Un unforgettable adventure.

I started planning my trip to Ecuador and Galapagos about 18 months before our travel date. I organized the trip for myself and 15 other people ended up coming too. I started with 4-5 different companies and ended up picking Alvaro at KimKim because he worked quickly, efficiently, and listened to what I wanted. I was extremely happy with the final itinerary and price.

There were a few tweaks that needed to be made, and once initial down payments were made, he didn’t respond as quickly as before. I was very worried, and others who had signed up were getting worried as well, but the trip was amazing.

Our guide throughout Ecuador was David. He was the best guide we could have asked for. He explained so much about his country, history, and culture. He was enthusiastic, passionate, and helpful. He made sure all activities were organized and enjoyable for all.

When we went to Mindo, two parts of the itinerary were left out, a coffee experience and ziplining. Alvaro made sure to add those items later in the itinerary.

Saul was an amazing guide in the Amazon rainforest. He was so knowledgeable about natural remedies and the forest. We all enjoyed the hiking, cave exploration, and indigenous experience.

We were sad to leave David, as he was not going with us to Galapagos, and we got a new guide. As wonderful as David was, our new guide was the opposite. Although she was very nice, this was her first tour ever, and it showed. She didn’t give us any information about the places we visited. Anytime I asked a question, she either didn’t know the answer or gave an incorrect answer. The group felt that she was just on vacation herself as she let the local guides do all of the work and just participated in the activities. We didn’t really need her on the trip at all since we had local guides. In addition, she was sick, and a few people on the trip also started to show symptoms of the cold that she had.

We went to Santa Cruz, Isabela, and San Cristobal and loved the islands. Our guide in San Cristobal even gave the group an autographed copy of his book! Thanks, Ian! I can’t wait to read it!

Overall, the trip was wonderful and everything went very smoothly. We did so many different activities and I appreciate the work Alvaro and David and the rest of the guides put in to make this a fabulous experience.

Hello my dear Michele!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful review.

It was a pleasure helping you plan this trip, and I still remember when it started as a trip for a few travelers and eventually grew into a group of 16! I am delighted to hear that you enjoyed Ecuador, the Amazon, and the Galapagos, and that the itinerary delivered the experience you were hoping for.

David, Saul, and Ian will be excited and happy to read your comments. They are passionate about sharing our country, and I know your feedback will mean a lot to them.

I also want to thank you for the honest feedback. Looking back, I know there were times when I should have communicated more quickly, and I completely understand why that made you and the group nervous. Thank you for sticking with us and trusting that everything would come together.

I am also sorry that the Galapagos personal assistance experience fell short of expectations. After spending time with someone as knowledgeable and passionate as David, I can understand the contrast you describe. Your feedback is important, and we will be reviewing it carefully with our team.

Thank you again for choosing us and for bringing such a wonderful group to Ecuador and the Galapagos. It was a pleasure being part of this journey, and I hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Best regards,
Alvaro

We booked a one-week trip to Ecuador for 2 people through Kimkim, including Quito, a guided city tour, and 3 days in the Galápagos — and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish.

Our trip planner was Alvaro, and honestly, working with him was probably one of the best parts of the whole planning process. At the beginning, we only had a very rough idea of what we wanted to do. We were still unsure about the itinerary, duration, budget, and how to combine mainland Ecuador with the Galápagos. Based on that very vague starting point, Alvaro created an excellent first proposal with a concrete itinerary and transparent pricing, which immediately helped us visualize the trip.

What impressed us most was how easy and pleasant communication was. Every question and every requested change was answered incredibly quickly and always very professionally. For example, our first proposal was above our budget, and almost immediately Alvaro sent us an adapted version together with clear explanations of what had been changed and why. It never felt pushy — instead, it felt collaborative and genuinely personalized.

The payment process was also very straightforward and reassuring (30% deposit first, remaining balance later before the trip).

Another thing we really appreciated was that Alvaro kept checking in with us before the trip started, asking whether we still had questions and making sure we felt prepared. He also introduced us in advance to the local Ecuadorian partner responsible for the on-the-ground coordination (Sebastian from Responsible Travel South America).

This was honestly what made the whole experience feel so special: everything was incredibly easy and digital, but still deeply personal at the same time. Even though everything was organized online, we always felt like we had real people taking care of us.

I can 100% recommend Kimkim, and especially Alvaro, for anyone planning a trip to Ecuador.

A very special hotel, the decoration is very creative and present in all details of the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful (especially the ladies for breakfast!). The rooms are rather basic but clean. The pool is more a place to cool down rather than a place you can spend time to unwind. But it is very useful after a hot day exploring the islands! Our itinerary was perfect and we feel very lucky to have had the guides we did. We had David for our tour around Quito. He was knowledgeable, helpful & paced the day perfectly. For the remainder of the trip we had Chris and he was so amazing. We would not have wanted to do the trip without a driver and Chris was exceptional in this realm. He was a very defensive and great driver on the chaotic roads. He was always one step ahead of the weather & road closures which made our trip so much more seamless than we could have hoped for considering we traveled during the peak rainy season. We had such a good time and kimkim made it an easy & relaxing process. Our itinerary was jam packed and we saw so much but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We feel like the trip was a bargain for all it included. Would definitely use kimkim again & we are hoping to do a Galapagos trip in the future!
