I live for my passion: travelling. I aim to travel to every country in the world and inspire you to do the same. "In 2014 I decided to grab my suitcase and moved to Scotland seeking for new challenges. I have been based up there for 8 years working on Tourism and at the same time traveling the world whenever I had the opportunity.

I combine my knowledge and background in Tourism with my personal vision of the world, to share with you my travel experiences in the most genuine and honest way possible."

Raquel and her several assistants put together the perfect trip to Spain to see the eclipse for 8 travelers. The hotels were nice, in the center of cities, the guides were very knowledgeable, and suggested restaurants and excursions were appreciated.
We enjoyed the next trip to Barcelona for just the two of us as well. I wish we had more days to explore the city. I appreciate the effort Raquel and her team put into finding the best hotels for our budget, and the best experiences to give us a sense of how wonderful Spain is.

Our trip was incredible!

From the planning of specific planned activities, to our “own” time, as well as all of our service providers such as the private drivers and the assistance from Espiritu Team through online messaging via the Trip Plan app. Every driver was professional, safe and vehicles were exceptional. Each of our guides from the food tours, wineries and olive oil estate were top notch. We loved the mix of small group events as well as the private guides we had on several of our experiences.

In Porto - we loved our guide’s (Joao) knowledge and the local establishments that we experienced; the Douro Wine & River Cruise was perfectly timed and our private guide’s (Tiago) personal winery experience was equally enjoyed.

In Lisbon - Our dinner with a local family was a unique experience that we will always remember. Our excursion to Sintra, Cascais was made special by our private guide (Nuno) was great. Also, our private guide (I no longer have his name) who took us on a walking tour of Alfama area of Lisbon was a joy to spend the morning walking the neighborhood.

In Lagos, Algarve the boat tour to the Benagil was a nice getaway for a few hours.

While our time in Seville was a bit compromised due to the excessive heat, the Flamenco event had a feel of real authenticity. The Olive Oil Estate also was a unique experience. Our day trip to Cordoba had beautiful sights but the heat caused us to shorten that day trip unfortunately.

Mallorca was amazing! From the accommodations at the Cala Fornells Hotel to the overall island. I think we’ll be back there in the future.

Lastly, Barcelona was so enjoyable. The Tapas tour was so much fun, the trip to Montserrat was nice as well. But the private tour of the Vins El CEP winery was a perfect end to our trip.

In summary, the timing of each stay, of each planned event mixed between our “own time” was simply perfect. The accommodations were wonderful - great locations and high quality. Without exception all of our guides and drivers made our experience a trip of a lifetime! Thank you so much for all your efforts in planning and assisting us throughout our trip.

The day was perfectly planned. The Douro River Cruise was timed just right (about 1 -1.5 hours on the boat). The going to visit an old, small winery and a newer, larger winery was a perfect mix.

4 girls in early thirties from Texas visiting Spain for girls trip. Pros: - good breakfast - great location, walking distance to a lot - we wanted early check in but our room wasn’t available so we were offered an upgrade and we took it. However, the room was extremely hot. Cons: - AC is NOT GOOD. This hotel is advertised to have AC however, the room stayed very warm and stuffy no matter how low we turned it down. The summer is hot so if AC is your priority, highly recommend looking elsewhere. - location in the city is loud, bring air plugs - rooms kinda small, but manageable!

Hotel is advertised to have AC, however the rooms were very very warm & slightly uncomfortable our whole stay. The rooms are TINY- had to play Tetris to get all of our belongings situated. The bathroom, shower, and sink all in the hallway was a little odd. However, we managed! Breakfast next door was the best breakfast we had. Very kind staff at hotel and the restaurant. Great hotel, just small and hot.

This boat party was rescheduled a day prior. Luckily we were still in town for our rescheduled day. Kimkim did not notify us of the change as I was notified via WhatsApp. I then notified Kimkim of the change. The departure port was not updated by KimKim in our app, resulting in us almost missing the boat due to this lack of communication.

This was a different hotel - guests were a lower class of people as compared to Granada, Seville hotels. Breakfast not as nice. Lobby and common areas not great. Weird smells. The rooms had poorer furniture. At best 3 star. Would have declined this hotel had we known the gap.

Throughout our family's experience planning our trip to Portugal and Spain, Raquel our travel agent, and the teams at both Espiritu Travel and KimKim were so attentive and helpful! In terms of planning our itinerary they were incredibly receptive of our input regarding the types of activities people in our family enjoyed. Be it cultural excursions, museums, food recommendations, hotels and more, they were responsive and asked pertinent follow up questions to guarantee we got the most out of our trip. We highly encourage anyone booking to follow the travel agent's recommendations/bookings to guided tours. The walking tour in Madrid and guided excursion to Toledo were some of the best experiences my family talked about. The main reason my family planned this trip was to visit me in Galicia, and although I personally planned the itinerary on those days as someone that currently lives in the north even I found Raquel's restaurant recommendations in Santiago de Compostela incredibly helpful. If anyone stays in the city we also heartily recommend the Hostal de Reyes Catolico Paradores---it was the best hotel of the trip according to my family.

During the trip, the travel agency was also responsive to cancellations/last minute changes on our end to the itinerary. This was especially helpful because of the transport that they arranged for us. Additionally, they advised us on the appropriate travel insurance before the trip was booked and because of this my Mom was able to get some much needed medication from a doctor when she unexpectedly became sick. Overall we simply cannot recommend this service enough! They made our trip so much easier to enjoy, and relax. Thank you!

This was our family's favorite hotel! Between the comfort of the rooms, the quality of breakfast, and the history behind the building's construction it was an incredibly special stay. It is also conveniently located diagonally from the Cathedral of St. James---we loved hearing the pilgrims finish their walk in the square, especially with singing.

The rooms were a bit small, but they had a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean! The staff of the hotel was attentive, and the laundry service was swift. We had a poor experience eating in the hotel restaurant (the meal took hours, and everyone in the restaurant went large portions of the night unattended). This was a beautiful hotel, with spacious rooms and an incredibly welcoming, helpful staff. The breakfast selection was wonderful. The only frustration was the slow elevator, but we don't think that could be helped.

The food was delicious, and came with very generous portions. There was also plenty of variety on the menu, and the waiter was attentive. The musicians were absolute showstoppers, and we felt like everyone who visits Lisbon must experience fado live.
