Madrid/Seville/Lagos/Lisbon trip was well planned and well executed, nice whether helped as well.
Madrid transfers and guides were on time and professional, hotel was good, a bit noisy. Tuk-Tuk tour has room for improvement like better vehicles suspension and adding display with city map and interactive vehicle location.
Train ride was a pleasant experience.
Seville transfer to the hotel was OK, driver could use some training. Seville hotel should not be allowed to operate until underground comprehensively marked. Seville guide was on time, extremely knowledgeable and likable.
For transfer to Lagos was planned Tesla Y, instead was used Toyota Prius, substitution luxury car with economy car is not an acceptable practice, money back should be considered.
Lagos food tour guide was excellent. Lagos hotel was great, unconventional shower/toilet design would benefit by addition to toilet bidet and waste bucket. Lagos water tour was 30 minutes late, boat driver could be more respectful.
Transfer to Lisbon was good. Lisbon hotel was great, Lisbon tour guide was amazing. Tuk-Tuk tour had the same issues as Madrid one. Transfer to the Airport was seamless.

All 3 of our guides (Lucia, Miguel, Raul) were excellent. Their knowledge and passion of the cities and villages we toured was something my wife and I will never forget!

With a large family group of 9, including a mix of adults and teenagers, it was great to have our trip to Spain planned for us including transfers, train tickets, and hotels. The excursions we particularly enjoyed were the TukTuk tour in Madrid, the Gaudi experience tour in Barcelona and the cooking lesson with Maria at Solera, her private kitchen location. The KimKim specialist met with us and then set up activities based upon our preferences. Many things we would not have known to do on our own. Having someone familiar with the locations made all the difference!

With one exception, everything ran very smoothly. All the guides were highly knowledgeable, and we enjoyed each of the hotels. I was amazed at the size of the Mezquita in Cordoba, and we got to the Generalife in the Alhambra right when it opened, so I have numerous pictures without any other people in them! Special kudos to our driver/guide Carlos of Not Just A Tourist on the Ronda day trip. He was informed, solicitous, and funny. The glitch: the train you reserved for the Cordoba-Granada leg did not run the day we planned, so I had to book one leaving three hours later and tell our afternoon guide we wouldn’t be there for the tour. Be sure to recheck shortly before. But again,, overall it was well organized by kimkim.

Las Casas de la Judería

Staying at Las Casas de la Judería was a unique experience. The place is a charming collection of buildings with an intriguing layout. It took us a day to get our bearings, and it was a bit confusing at first, but it added to the adventure. We were fortunate to have a room close to the lobby, which helped. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay, but definitely not your standard hotel design.

NH Collection Granada Victoria was a great hotel experience. Although it had a western style feel, the flexibility and kindness of the staff made it stand out. They allowed us to stay beyond the noon checkout without issue, which was incredibly helpful after our visit to Alhambra. This courtesy allowed us to relax before our train, making our stay pleasant and accommodating.

Hotel Madinat was a lovely place to stay with very nice staff. One aspect that stood out was the shower design; it had no walls and was quite open to the bedroom. Though modern, it was not really to my taste. Despite this, the water remained in place, and it didn't bother us much. The overall experience was enjoyable, and the hotel had a genuine local charm that I appreciated.

The Private Ronda & White Villages Day Trip was an incredible experience. Our guide, Carlos, from 'Not Just a Tourist,' was wonderful. He was not only very knowledgeable but also genuinely connected with us. Carlos was very sweet, and his enthusiasm added an extra special touch to the day. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

We had a great trip to Spain. The hotels were nice and tours were good. However I am quite disappointed in the service provided by Kimkim and would not plan another trip with you all again. My main issue is that we needed to make a change during the trip, and I was never told that Kimkim would not support overnight changes. As a result we had to do this all on our own. But furthermore, you all weren’t even able to cancel existing reservations even after I said we were making a change. So our drivers were waiting for us and texting me wondering where we were, and we didn’t receive any refund for services that we didn’t use. I think one of the big value adds for agencies like yours is to help with flexibility during a trip. With current technology and especially AI, the trip planning is easy and I can do this entirely on my own. For the fee we are paying I expect better service during the actual trip- and I’d highly recommend you adapt and provide this otherwise I’m not sure your company will survive.

We just got back from a trip to Andalucía and Madrid that we planned through Kimkim, and overall it was a really good experience.

Before the trip, the communication was super helpful. We had a lot of questions, and they always got back to us with clear answers, which made us feel more comfortable—especially since we’d never used a service like this before.

What stood out was how easy everything felt once we got there. Transfers, day trips, connections—it all just worked without us having to think too much about it. That alone made the trip more relaxing.

They also did a nice job balancing their suggestions with what we wanted. We had input on the itinerary, and they actually listened and adjusted things to fit our interests.

The day trips were comfortable, and the vehicles were great. Our drivers, Carlos and Joan were both friendly and easy to talk to. Joan made the drive from Seville to Granada (with a stop in Ronda) more interesting by sharing music along the way and Carlos added a special-stop in Carmona which added to our day in Cordoba..

All of our guides were great-knowledgeable but also easygoing. The food tours were a highlight. It didn’t feel overly structured, more like spending time with a group of friends and trying different foods together.

Guadalupe made the Seville Cathedral and Alcázar much more engaging, and Matias did a great job at the Alhambra, helping us appreciate the details and history without it feeling overwhelming.

Overall, Kimkim made the trip easier to plan and enjoy. It was a very positive experience, and we’d definitely consider using them again.

My wife and I signed up to go on a transatlantic cruise from Spain to the US. Since we had to fly to Spain we thought we would take advantage and spend a week in Spain prior to boarding the cruise in Barcelona. I did an internet search of travel agencies that specialized in Spain and Kimkim was one of the ones that popped up. I sent the request and a short time later I was contacted by one of their representatives by the name of Coraima. She was one of their Spain specialists. We discussed the things we would like to do, see and experience while on our trip. She took the information and said she would get back to us with some options. The next day she sent us various options and suggestions to review. After we reviewed them, we discussed with her which ones we preferred and which hotels we were interested in reviewing. Shortly thereafter she sent us a revised itinerary to review. After a couple of tweaks we finalized the trip details. She also made sure that our passports were current and other such details. This was about a month prior to the departure date, As the date became closer she and another agent named Summer would keep in contact to make sure that everything was proceeding according to plan. They were also very responsive in answering any questions that we may have thought of during the period leading up to the departure date.
In one instance the tour company we had booked a tour with had to cancel our scheduled tour at the last minute due to the venue having to close on the day we were to tour. Summer quickly notified us and shuffled our itinerary so that we could still do the tour we desired.

There is always concern when you select a travel agency “in the blind” without a recommendation from someone that you trust. In this case we could not be more pleased with the results. Both Coraima and Summer demonstrated a complete knowledge and understanding of the areas we wanted to visit. They perfectly balanced a professional attitude with a very friendly demeanor. They were always responsive in a timely manner and very patient with our numerous questions. During the trip they contacted us through the Kimkim app to make sure everything was going per plan and that we didn’t run into any problems. We can’t praise and thank them enough for their efforts which resulted in the perfect trip we hoped for when we first planned it. We would not hesitate to use them again should the opportunity arise nor hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asked our opinion of Kimkim.

This was hands down my favorite place from the entire trip. It truly offered the best of both worlds. We had the extra space and comfort of an apartment (similar to our stay in Valencia, with separate rooms), combined with the ease and convenience of a hotel, as we experienced in Málaga. It was the perfect balance. The space itself was modern, clean, and very easily accessible. The location couldn’t have been better, right across the street from the beach and just minutes from a stunning cathedral, parks, the town center of Palma, great restaurants, and the marina. It was also only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made travel incredibly easy. There’s a great restaurant right downstairs, a rooftop pool and bar, the staff was wonderful, and the underground parking was a huge plus. It also never felt too crowded or busy, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. Overall, this was the highlight of our stay, and I would absolutely return.

Our stay at Valenciaflats Ciudad de las Ciencias was overall good, especially depending on what type of experience you’re looking for. The space is an apartment, which was great in terms of having a kitchen and extra room to spread out. However, it doesn’t offer the same ease or convenience you might expect from a traditional hotel, so that’s something to keep in mind if you prefer full-service accommodations. One of the biggest highlights was the location in relation to the City of Arts and Sciences. It’s within easy walking distance to the aquarium and science center, which were amazing to experience. That said, it is a bit removed from the main city areas. If you’re new to Valencia, having a car can be helpful. If you're open to using the bus system, it is easily accessible and manageable, but for certain things, like getting to our guided tour, we preferred to use Uber in a new space. Overall, this is a good option if you’re looking for more space, a quieter setting, and a more cost-effective stay. Just be prepared for a bit more planning when it comes to getting around.

We initially had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel, as there isn’t direct driving access. You have to park nearby and walk in. That said, once we arrived, it was worth it. We were in the heart of everything, unexpectedly, during a widely celebrated Holy Week. ICON Malabar is a charming, boutique-style hotel located right in the heart of the city center. Everything was within easy walking distance: restaurants, shopping, the beach, and the boardwalk, which made exploring Málaga incredibly convenient. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Check-in and check-out were smooth, breakfast was included and delicious, and they offered great recommendations for local food (including some of the best churros in the area!). They were also very patient and accommodating, especially with our limited Spanish. Overall, a wonderful stay in a perfect location. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Málaga.

Palma de Mallorca Food tour

This is one I can’t fully speak to from start to finish, but I still wanted to share our experience because it says a lot about the quality of the tour and the guide. We visited on a Saturday during Easter weekend, and the area was extremely crowded, with multiple cruise ships in port. Parking was very difficult to find, and we ended up running about 30 minutes late just trying to park. In hindsight, I would highly recommend taking a taxi to the meeting point, as this area is not very car-friendly and requires walking. Because we were late, we initially struggled to find the group and almost gave up. We even took our kids to a nearby park, thinking we had missed the experience entirely. However, our guide truly went above and beyond. He stayed in contact with us, texting and calling to help us find him, and never gave up on us. After about 10 minutes of searching, we were able to meet up with the group about an hour into the tour. Although we missed the first half, the guide made sure we still had a meaningful experience. He had thoughtfully brought food from the earlier stops, wrapped and ready for us, and welcomed us in as if we had been there the whole time. The guide was incredibly kind, patient, and tenacious. Even joining late, we were able to enjoy the second half of the tour, and it ended up being a really memorable experience.

This experience was absolutely awesome and a definite highlight of our time in Valencia. While we did have some flight delays, this activity couldn’t be rescheduled due to it being a group experience, so that’s something to keep in mind. But once there, you’re fully engaged the entire time, and it’s truly worth it. The experience begins with a guided tour, where you learn about the history of Valencia and the origins of paella. Walking through key spots tied to the story made it even more meaningful and engaging. After the tour, you head to the cooking location, where the experience continues with snacks and wine before moving into the kitchen. You’re guided step-by-step through making authentic paella, all while enjoying a variety of Valencian wines and small bites along the way. The best part is sitting down afterward with the group to enjoy the meal you created together, paired with more delicious wine and finished with a dessert and dessert wine. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about what they do, which made the experience even more special. Overall, this is a must-do when visiting Valencia: fun, immersive, and incredibly memorable.

We had a wonderful trip exploring southern Spain. Starting in Malaga, we had a delicious tapas tour with our guide Emilio. We had plenty of time to also tour on our own checking out multiple attractions including Castillo Gibralfaro and the Picassos birthright museum. The kayak tour in La Heradurra showcase the beautiful coastline of the area. Two of our favorite outings were the hikes to El Saltillo mountain village and to the amazing canyons of Caminino del Rey. Ronde was our favorite city to visit with it being perched on its elevated picturesque mesa. The trip offered a unique variety of activities and settings to explore. We loved it all.

What an amazing trip!! The team at Kimkim is the best out there.
Our tours in Barcelona with Lili were informative and fun. My sons 10 & 12 especially enjoued teh biking tour.
The fishing camp was fantastic, nice, clean and friendly staff. We caught some big carp and we will be back for the catfish!
Madrid was wonderful and the Real Madrid game was next level excitement! We would definitely use kimkim again!!

The trip was enjoyable because the main details were taken care of and we could thoroughly enjoy oursevles! Alfonso was responsive to our interests and suggestions as we planned the trip resulting in accomplishing our main goals while traveling. Once we arrived in Spain, we had all the details and tickets needed and an instant contact for any questions or concerns that came up during the week. I would highly recommend!

Cooking Class in Seville

Included a tour of the market as well as cooking main Spainish dishes. It included a large meal!

José was an exceptional tour guide. Knowledgeable is an understanding! And personable beyond expectations! I highly recommend if you want historical background and palace I intrigue, which I did!
Maria’s tour of Musé Sophia Reina was eye opening for this American! She is an awesome host and guide with detailed knowledge and passion for the modern art within the museum!
I highly recommend!

The itinerary developed by Alfonso was excellent! He & his partner communicated constantly before & during our trip. All of our activities from arrival to departure were flawlessly executed.
We spent 6 days with our fantastic guide, Jose’. He came to our AirBnb each day & took care of all of our needs. He was extremely knowledgeable (especially on art history) & personable. He had a passion for the history & culture of Spain which he shared with us. Our tours of Toledo & Segovia were great day trips. We had one day with another guide, Maria who was also fantastic!

Our travel specialist, Coraima, did a magnificent job discovering our preferences then creating the perfect travel experience for mother-daughter trip to Madrid and Sevilla. From the cooking class and tapas tour to the sherry tasting and Andalusian horse show, everything was top notch. We would have been overwhelmed choosing our own hotels, but she picked the perfect locations. THIS is the way to see a new country! We will definitely use KimKim again.

This is in a beautiful neighborhood close to everything you might want to see. It's a little noisy outside at night and one of the smaller rooms we had in Madrid but a good value with a nice breakfast.

I can't imagine a better location for staying in Sevilla. We were greeted with wine at check-in and given a quick guide for places to see. The rooftop restaurant/bar has delightful tapas and cocktails. Go at sunset for a picturesque evening. The pool is absolutely beautiful.

The ambiance is peaceful and artistic with classical beauty. The clientele looked to be over 40 with an appreciation for finer details. We walked to everything within 20 minutes. They have the most luxurious hotel gym I've ever been in. The restaurant and breakfast were the best on our trip. 5 stars for everything!

Cádiz & Jerez de la Frontera Day Trip with Sherry Tasting

This is an easy day trip to the coast. I had no idea that Cadiz has such a rich history. Add the Andalusian Horse show just to witness something you may never see again. I learned a lot about Sherry but didn't personally care for it. It is an interesting tour though. Prepare for lots of traffic on the way back. Our driver made the most of it and gave us extra history lessons. We returned around 6pm.

We loved the small size of the class (7 of us). We went to the market early so there weren't any crowds which was nice. Our chef was very knowledgeable, interesting and funny. I would recommend this for anyone who doesn't necessarily feel they are an experimental cook but would like to try. Hands on, easy and entertaining!
