Great location, wonderful staff and a nice breakfast buffet. The only downside was the offensive odor in our room on 2 nights that seemed to come from the AC unit and matched the sewer odors we encountered walking around Barcalona.

A do not miss when visiting Barcalona. The history of thus cathedral and the visionary mind of Gaudi is amazing. The lighting inside, the stories told in tge statuary outside is unbelievable.

All our connections and booked excursions went well and we enjoyed our time in Spain. Cooking school was a lot of fun.
A special note, we modified the original itinerary of our Montserrat excursion from the original 5:30 AM pickup to 7:00 AM. We are on vacation after all. The original itinerary featured arriving before dawn, hiking an uphill trail in the dark for 20-30 minutes in time to see sunrise at the cross then visiting the Basilica followed by lunch.
Our modified itinerary started with a visit to the Basilica followed by our hike to the Cross. We were early enough to the Basilica that there were no crowds and our hike to the cross was in daylight, affording us many beautiful visas. Our guide, Antoine, was congenial, knowledgeable and flexible with our preferences. The visit to the site is highly recommended. Anyone with physical handicaps or not in normal physical condition may not want to avail themselves of the hike. Even without the hike, the visit to the Holy site, the journey up the mountain by car and down by train and the excellent Catalan lunch are well worth going! The early start avoided the large crowds later in the morning adding to a great experience.
Our guides Maria (Gaudi), Alfredo (Tapas and Flamenco) and chef Johannes (cooking class) were all excellent, knowledgeable and professional!
Lastly---The Kimkim team did an excellent job in hotels, transportation and arranging activities that were great fun and covered the "must sees" of Barcelona. We especially appreciated the pacing allowing down time as well as affording time to explore on our own.

All our guides were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the tours with Enrique in Madrid and Ruth in Barcelona. It was a smooth and seamless trip despite all the cities involved. Hotels were great. We loved Spain. We have already recommended Kimkim to others. You guys did a wonderful job in putting this memorable trip together for us.

Bea, Rachel, Maria, etc were all extremely helpful. Our favourite stops were Madrid, Cordoba, and especially Granada. Granada is amazing! We would have preferred a bit more input on the car rental and timeline in Mallorca and a suggestion to stay in Malaga or Granada longer with a shorter stay in Mallorca. The departure transfer time from Madrid was too early due to a time change so another day in Madrid at the end may have been better.

The guides were amazing, we loved Barcelona Cooking and the Gothic quarter and Tapas walk! Such great memories were made, and no stress of planning!! The hotels were amazing, in great locations, and so friendly.

Bea did a wonderful job of putting together our trip to Portugal and Spain. When we had a major change in plans she fixed it and created a new itinerary for us. Bea made sure we had an excellent plan and all details were covered. All of the hotels were chosen with care. We did not have a car so it was important to have hotels centrally located. Our guides and drivers were excellent. Everyone of them showed up on time and were professional in manner. The trip was filled with highlights and we would recommend KimKim travel to anyone.

We had a great and memorable trip to Spain, visiting Barcelona, Granada, Ronda, Seville, Cordoba, and Madrid. The personal tours were great .In Madrid our guide was Enrique who took us to these great little intimate Tapas restaurants that are local favorites.His knowledge and passion about art was incredible,pointing out details we would not of noticed.In Toledo Mario was our guide took us to family owned shops and away from the tourist crowds and great restaurant.Our driver To Toledo Wilson was friendly knowledgeable and punctual.In Barcelona Diana took us to La Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi works.Having art history guides gives so much more perspective to the tour .Mierko took us around the local tapas restaurants then the Flamenco show. Beirnart took us Hilking to Costs brava and Tossa De Mare and had great patience and skill on the hike as we are not hikers.Craig took us to Monserrat which was amazing again his knowledge of the tour was incredible.He took us to a local restaurant for a Catalan breakfast which we will never forget.

Trip time in Vigo was good. The NH hotel, although well appointed, was odd due to the fact that there were no windows in our room due to the hotel re-design around a former courtyard/skylight. Somewhat confining.
Good tour guide.

Enjoyed Santiago de Compostela. Our guide was pleasant, but information overload. Vey knowledgeable historian..
Our cooking class and market tour was great. Maria and Chef were lots of fun and very educational; and good teachers.

Muxia , worth the side trip.

Lugo. Playa de Las Cathedrales was an awesome scenic trip along the beach area at low tide with the eroded stone arches.

Monteforte de Lemos wine tour was very interesting, and a good lunch.

Ourense was a good final stop within the ancient Roman walls around the town. Our very eclectic hotel, very museum like, was noisy from the outside late night activities.

Our drivers and guides throughout were top-notch, except for our conveyance from Porto to the airport. Our scheduled pick up was too late, so we took an Uber to the airport instead.
Special commendations to BORHA, our driver for 6 days of our days. Highly recommended to all. He's very personable, knowledgeable; and efficient.

Hotels were in very good locations for walks thru older parts of Lisbon, Porto ,Grenada and Barcelona. Hotel staff were very helpful on suggestions for restaurants. The tour of wineries in the Douro Valley was an amazing day thanks to our guide. We regularly relied on Rick Steves walking tours to navigate thru cities and sites of interest, supplementing your information on places to see. A detailed map can be very helpful. We really enjoyed two and a half days of hiking in the Pyrenees Mountains near Sort with a wonderful guide. We also had a morning of birdwatching there with a guide, seeing kettles of Vultures over the mountain ridges. We also really enjoyed listening to Fado music performed at the hotel in Porto. We went to flamenco performances on two nights in Grenada. All in all we had a wonderful, very enjoyable trip. Thanks for working so well with Ruth and Adrian in setting this up.

The whole trip was unbelievable. Well planned out and completed for the most part without any hiccups.
We had two excursions in Lagos but felt the second one that you planned was too similar to the first. We felt this should have been picked up by one of your staff and we could have ordered something different. The sunset tour which took place first, was quite uncomfortable for that long of a drive and we were advised a picnic was to be provided but we were given a full meal which was great. Our only problem with this tour is we were not advised of the length of time and we were not prepared with jackets or sweaters to be driving late at night - a note should be sent to people taking this to advise to bring something warm. The jeep was quite uncomfortable for the length of time as well. The second tour our guide Rue was very accommodating. We experienced a wonderful unplanned trip after he spoke with uas and it was decided that the previous days excursion was too similar. He took us to some wonderful areas in the region and showed so much passion for what he was showing us. We called it "Rue's Romantic Tour" He was awesome and
so was his boss for allowing him to do something different with us. Thank you - It truly was a trip to remember.

Absolutely stunning hotel - extremely comfortable and staff were exceptional. I would take one star off for a service which was provided for us. One thing negative it was the price of the laundry service - We received it back and it was still too damp to pack and compared to all other locations their prices were at least 3-4 times higher. That left a bad taste.

Beautiful scenery - long drive. Not sure what happened but we had a driver who could not speak English. He tried very hard. Two drivers showed up and he was given us. Felt it should have been better organized. Not fair to him but he was unable to tell us about what we were seeing.

First time to Barcelona and Sitges and we needed to work around a busy wedding schedule.
Raquel was able to understand my needs, identify the appropriate schedule to maximize our experience.
To complicate things my wife fractured her foot. So last minute changes and bookings had to be made. The Kim Kim team made it happen.
Our driver Saed who met us in airport and stayed with us throughout trip as we moved from Barcelona to Sitges and back to airport was outstanding. prompt attentive despite having to travel around protests sweeping around city.

Our City guide and driver were very good, again understanding my wife's mobility issues they provided us with a great half day overview of Barcelona and a wonderful tour of the Sagrada Familia. Much appreciated.

Our Catalan tour guide who took us to the winery and to Montserrat was also very understanding and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the region and gave us a great overview. His knowledge of Montserrat and his ability to share that knowledge made for a very memorable trip.

Montserrat is an amazing place. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and was excellent at sharing his knowledge. Given my wife's mobility issue he gave us options and recommended the cable car which limited the walking and turned out avoided traffic delays due to a pilgrimage group. He was tremendous. the winery tour took us to a beautiful winery where the tour was just the right amount of time and provided us a insight into the regions winery trade. A very pleasant morning.

This trip was excellent! Anita did a fantastic job accommodating all of our needs for our journey through Spain.

Accommodations:
The hotels were excellent overall, with just one exception on our final night in Madrid. That issue was related to the hotel staff, not the trip planning itself.

Transportation & Guides:
The drivers were outstanding—each transfer was perfectly on time, and the Mercedes vans made travel very comfortable. I especially appreciated that all drivers and guides contacted us on WhatsApp ahead of time to confirm arrivals, which gave us peace of mind. The tour guides were excellent, and I loved the small-group format of the tours.

Overall Experience:
Our 8-day itinerary was full and exciting, with visits to different cities almost every day. It was a wonderful way to see so much of Spain in a short time. My only recommendation would be to allow a bit more downtime to relax and soak in each destination.

Final Thoughts:
I would 100% recommend KimKim and will absolutely use them again for future trips!

This apartment was excellent. Great location. Clean, and easy to find. Keep in mind, if you get here prior to check in, you can store your bags at their office 5 minute walk away, and they charge $5 per bag. Also, if you can check in early, there is a $30 ealy check in charge. (one or the other cost will be incurred). The office staff was amazing, friendly and incredibly helpful desite how busy they were. One note, if you use the washer/. dry and DRY your cloths, the dry will completely wrinkle your clothing..so much that an iron or steamer will not remove wrinkles. It may not be worth using it. My jeans were like a crumpled ball of aluminum foil at the cycle end. despite this, Overall - 5 star.. Loved it and would recommmend!

The Barcelona Highlights tour was fantastic! Our guide, Ramon, was incredibly enthusiastic and made the experience so special. He had so much energy and excitement, it was contagious. He truly loved what he was doing and it showed in the way he guided us.

The guided Tuk-Tuk tour in Lisbon was a great choice, especially with all the hills in the city. It gave us a wonderful overview and made navigating the city on foot later much easier. The Tuk-Tuk took us to all the must-see places, and it was convenient to know how to revisit them afterward.

An Evening of Flamenco

The Flamenco night was a lot of fun. We had front row seats, which was fantastic, as it felt like we were right in the middle of all the action. It was an entertaining and captivating experience.

Our excursion to Sintra and Pena Palace was made exceptional by our guide, Miguel. He was like a walking encyclopedia and had an impressive depth of knowledge about everything we saw. He answered all our questions and was so informative. It was a pleasure to be guided by someone so well-versed and intelligent.

Overall our trip was fantastic and we appreciate all of the work you and your team put in to it to make it so, Our lodging in all three cities were great and located perfectly for walking and getting to places we wanted to go. Some of the transportation didn't run as smoothly as planned but that happens and it all worked out in the end. The two guides in Madrid were fantastic and we enjoyed them immensely. Both were informative, easy to understand and kept us entertained. We especially enjoyed the "market" tour, which really became a pub crawl but Carlos? was so good and entertaining we all had a great time. The guide in Seville was a little dry, but still informative. Hard to compete with the two we had just had in Madrid. Our time in Barcelona was also grand. The football game was a highlight as it was fun to see the passion Spain has for their teams. Transportation back from there left a lot to be desired but we eventually made it so alls well. Our guide in Barcelona was also great and We would have no hesitation in recommending her.

We loved allllll our guides especially Nuria and the gentleman who took us to the amphitheater in Merida.

The buses were great- minus the pick up in Madrid- the man was a tad gruff with us. But we loved allllll our the sights and tours and guides

Private Extended Visit to Sagrada Família

Our visit to the Sagrada Família in Barcelona was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and provided insightful information. However, having two tours in a day made it a bit overwhelming, with lots of walking and information to take in. If I were to do it again, I might book just one tour per day to have a more relaxed experience.

Our trip to Spain was wonderful! We thought all of our hotels were exactly what we asked for. Breakfast in Granada and Seville were both a little thin on options but that just might be the average in Spain. All of our guides were very good (would recommend all of them) but Ruben at the Alhambra was the best. Jesus was an amazing driver and human and we really enjoyed our day with him. If we had a do-over, we would have not gone to Nerja and Frigiliana - there wasn't enough for us to do there and both were more touristy than we like. Instead we would have done an additional day in Seville - both of us wanted more time there. Overall, a great trip - Anita did a wonderful job at planning it for us. Any changes we would make are only because we know more now that we have visited.
