The rooftop views, pool and bar were wonderful, although at times, the pool was overrun with small children. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Overall, we really liked the hotel. Our room was comfortable, but we would have liked a quieter location. We were on the 7th floor, right below the pool area. We could hear the movement of tables and chairs as they prepped for the day, although it wasn't too terribly early. The location of the hotel was great!!

We loved this experience. There were only 4 of us in the class, so we had a very private experience. The food was amazing!

We really struggled to understand what all there was to see and do on Montjuic and how to get there. I am usually very good at planning these kind of things, but I couldn't figure out how to manage the funicular/cable car option. We ended up taking a taxi up to the castle and then walked to the Art Museum, Magic Fountain and Plaza de Espana from there. While we enjoyed the views near the castle, we decided not to visit the castle. We decided not to go to Tibadabo at all.

We really enjoyed the winery visit. We were driven to the winery first, then we sailed back. While this was the opposite to what was originally planned, we really liked the order. We were expecting to be served a brunch at the winery as outlined in our KimKim itinerary, but all we got was pan con tomate (which, by the way, was my favorite tapa in Spain!). It was fine as we did have breakfast at the hotel; it just wasn't what was expected. It rained during our sailing trip (first and really only rain we saw in our 2 weeks in Spain- what are the odds?:(. We still had a lovely time and enjoyed our boat captain and the other 2 couples who were on the boat with us.

Our guide, Maria was outstanding!! She was very patient with us as we wanted to take a lot of photos. We loved all of the Gaudi locations we toured. We ended up taking a tour of Casa Batllo on our own later in our trip. It was great to be able to get quick access to the sites too, without having to wait in long queues.

Our pick up was not quite early enough for us photographers. Our guide was quite young and he walked very fast up the steep hill to the sunrise spot. We were slower and just made it to the top as the sun was coming over the mountain. We really had no time to set up our tripods and get a good shot. It turned out that it wasn't a very good sunrise that morning. The tour of the church and Black Madonna was very good and the funicular ride down the mountain was fun.

Our guide, Vitaly was outstanding!! His knowledge and passion for the city and of Picasso made the experience extra special. I highly recommend having guided tours of museums. They can get overwhelming and guides can highlight the most important works and the history behind them. This museum in particular was a wonderful chronology of Picasso's life.

Our guide, Alfredo was excellent. He took us to 2 outstanding tapas restaurants where they had everything ready for us. The Flamenco show was a lot of fun too. It was the perfect length.

We used an audio guide from Rick Steves which was very helpful.

This is a beautiful, chic hotel which perfectly accommodated my family of four. We loved all the outdoor seating options to enjoy the beautiful scenery and have a drink or a snack, and the pool was much bigger than we thought it would be from the pictures. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our whole trip! The hotel is also in a great location to walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel with the most gorgeous views of the ocean! Our room was large, bright, comfortable for my family of 4, and had the best views we've ever had. The pools were perfect, and one day we saw several monkeys hanging out down there. The front desk was very helpful with reservations and taxis, and whatever else we needed. Highly recommend!

The TreeTram, Hanging Bridges & Zipline Adventure was a highlight for me. I really loved the hanging bridges, although my family found them a bit shaky, but that was unrelated to the tour itself. The ziplining was great and the staff were very helpful, making sure everyone felt comfortable.

The Coffee, Chocolate & Sugar Cane Experience was surprisingly enjoyable. I was the one who wanted to do the coffee tour, and my family expected it to be boring, but they ended up enjoying it more than they thought. The tour guide was great and gave very good explanations.

The Monteverde Cloud Forest Night Walk was cooler than I expected. I felt very safe as we were in a big group and the path was paved. The guide went slow, so we didn't cover much ground but saw a lot of interesting things in the small area we explored. It was a nice experience, and better than a previous night hike I did elsewhere.

The Guided Visit to Nauyaca Waterfall was a good experience. We had a private tour in Manuel Antonio which was great because the guide pointed out many things and used a scope to show us wildlife. He also took pictures for us and gave them to us for free, which was a nice surprise compared to another tour where photographers charged for pictures.

The Manuel Antonio National Park Nature Hike was enjoyable. Although the park was much more crowded than it was twenty years ago, we still got to see a lot of cool wildlife and nature. Having a private guide made the experience better as he was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We did not know thjs tour can be done with dolphin viewing too. Wish we had given that option. We couldn’t do separate dolphin tour as they were sold out.

It was not all that and we could have done this on our own and felt like it could have been better with guide. What we did was something very basic.

It was not all that and rather do trails that specifically for hiking for views.

The personalized service was incredible. The hotel itself is awesome and we were in the biggest room, and the only one with a dehumidifier, which acted as an air conditioner. This was great, because we were there in some serious heat! The wildlife is everywhere, and a family of coati live on the grounds. We loved this place.

Our least favorite of the hotels we stayed in. The service was terrible and the restaurant was just OK and expensive. We did get lucky and the clouds cleared long enough to see the volcano, which was visible from our cabin. The cabin was nice enough, but the "hot" pools were not hot, not any of them.

Incredible location - just a short walk to town. There is a butterfly garden there with a few observation decks, and it is a very pleasant place to just hang around. Our room was small, but smelled like cedar, and was efficient for the two of us. The front desk was helpful, and we enjoyed out stay here.

OK for what it is. We regretted staying here as many days as we did, but that was our choice. It's quite a ways out of town, but close to a local call, so easy to get food or just shop a little,w high we had to do before beginning our trip.

WE probably shouldn't have started with such a long strenuous hike, but this was a VERY memorable hike! wE say so many animals and birds! The guide was so knowledgeable and great at finding animals! It was essentially two hikes, and they fed us lunch afterward that was probably the best "tour" lunch we ever had! Not deal with some out of the way hole that served us, no. It was a full-on homemade spread for picnic, accommodating carnivores and vegetarians alike! This is a strenuous hike, worth every moment.

VERY knowledgable guide! We really learned a lot of history about the volcano and surrounding villages. It's really quite a story! We didn't see animals here, but the amazing volcano is entertaining to keep us going! Not over strenuous, either, even though it rained the whole time.

We had SUCH a good time on this excursion! WE rode in with a great group, and most of us stuck together during the tour, and afterwards. That made it better. I was surprised at the hanging bridges; they were more than I thought they would be! The zipline!!! What an experience! You are literally IN THE CLOUDS! Not our first, but definitely a memorable one, watching people disappear into a cloud!

Hands down, my very favorite of the whole vacation! I'm so glad we asked Kimkim for a bird-watching tour. The weather was perfect, the hike is level and not too strenuous, and the guide REALLY knew how to track birds! WE say the elusive Bell Bird, some Toucans, and a list of other birds.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, fun hot springs pools, waterslide fun for kids. Ambiance was beautiful. Wish we could walk to other restaurants and shopping but that has nothing to do with the hotel, it’s common for the area I think. Uber was easy to use .

AC in rooms only works with a key that is welded to the room key so it can only be used while you’re in the room and it takes a good hour to cool down when you get back to the room - and that’s with all the fans on. I’m all for conserving energy but even keeping the room at 85° while we were out would have been wonderful to keep the humidity down and allow clothes/swimsuits to dry. The bathroom is never air conditioned. Imagine having an upset stomach in a humid 90° bathroom. Balcony and views were fantastic though and monkeys were everywhere which was fun. Food on the premises was just OK and expensive. Need to call a shuttle to get anywhere on the property or walk up hill on dangerous roads a distance. Staff was friendly and room was clean .

6 stars if I could. Beautiful grounds, fantastic food on site(breakfast buffet and restaurant), walkable to restaurants and a couple shops, friendly staff. Everything was above and beyond. Amazing views everywhere. Covered hot tub and pool so can be enjoyed when raining. Free marshmallows for the fire pit. Fun disco bathroom. I could go on and on. Whole family loved this place.

Absolutely beautiful hike with 2 waterfalls and lush scenery. Guide was great and took pictures to share with us afterward. Overall our family of 4 (2 adult kids) had a great time and consider it our favorite hike of our trip. Lunch was great as well.

Expected the zip lining to be cool but didn’t expect the beautiful nature walk through the hanging bridges. Guide was so sweet and knowledgeable and truly loved this land. Our family of 4 (2 adult kids)had a fantastic time.

Guide brought a Swarovski spotting scope and took pictures through it and shared them with us. It allowed us to really see animals close up. It was crowded compared to other “hikes” we did on the trip.

Guide was amazing-he gauged the kind of experience we wanted and tailored the trip to that. For instance, we were more adventurous than the other raft that went with us so our guide made sure to get us fully in the rapids where the other guide was a little more subdued. Guide was very safe and knew the river well. No one fell out unless we wanted to. It was the perfect amount of heart-racing fun. Great pics to buy at the end for $40USD so no need for a waterproof camera. Lunch was typical Costa Rican fare at the end.

Loved this hotel. It was right in the heart of town. We actually were close to the Portugal football viewing center for the World Cup just steps from our hotel. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast offered many healthy options.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Really close to hiking the Algarve cliffs which we took full advantage of. Also, fairly close to the old town which we did walk over for dinner one night. The property is clean and the water views are excellent. The pool was expansive and the breakfast was superb.

Great location. Not near the noise but close and walkable to the sites. Very uniquely decorated and very tastful.

Excellent day driving through the Duoro valley tasting local wines and viewing the site. Our guide Andrea was fantastic and really clicked with the group.

A must see. Really enjoyed the Palace and Sintra. Enjoyed the personal guide and all the history that was shared.

A guide Rodrigo was great. He knows Lisbon really well. What a great way to see the sites too!

Enjoyed the boat ride and going in and out of the caves and watching the dolphins swim along the boat. Took lots of videos

Stunning views along the algarve coast. Took lots of photos of the sunset along the hike. Easy path to view

The best way to see the Algarve is right from the water. We had terrific guides and we kayaked in all the nooks are crannies.

This place is so special and amazing. We all loved it. The people are also very friendly and food was delicious. We all want to come back.

We weren't able to do the snorkeling but the hike to the waterfall was a lot of fun. I would let people know to bring some cash.
