We really appreciated all the transfers during our trip, given road conditions and signage. All the drivers were friendly and on time, if not early. All the lodging arrangements were great. We had excellent nature guides in Monteverde. When there was a glitch in reserving a guide at Treetopia, having our confirmation # came in handy, and someone from KimKim called us in the moment. The only change I would make is to spend 2 nights vs 3 at Hacienda Guachipelin. It was a great place, but there wasn't enough hiking in the local area.

This park is VERY busy and there are limited trails but very interesting to see fumaroles, mud pots and water pots. Our group was fairly large and the guide was fair, but not superb. The Oropendola waterfall hike was great!

Our guides, most of them, were outstanding, knowledgeable, and helpful on educating us. One guide in Manuel Antonio Park was fairly new and he was basically following the other guides and setting up his scope near them, relying on their information. He was very energetic, though and we could tell he loved his job.

Our hotel in Quepos, Tabacon -- was simply outstanding and our room was THE NICEST SUITE we have ever had. The view of the volcano from our balcony was beautiful.
We realize now that we should have stayed longer in some areas, and less in others.

I so appreciate your on the spot messaging... it was nice to receive your emails quickly and you were so on top of everything. Great trip. We want to do more trips with KimKim!!

Often in entering the lobby, I felt like I was interrupting their day, and that they did not really want to assist us or offer any touristy information. We had a great time in Costa Rica. The zip lining/hanging bridges and the white water rafting were amazing activities. If you go, expect long drives to go anywhere on hard gravel roads, that part wasn't fun.

Adam provided us an excellent structure for our visit to Barcelona. He took all of our wishes into account and scheduled specific tours with amazing guides, from whom we learned so much about Barcelona's history, art, architecture, food and culture. Highly recommended!

One of the wishes that we communicated to Adam was our wish to hike uphill to the Montserrat Natural Park above the Monastery. Our guide, Anthony, provided excellent transportation to the Monastery, arriving just before sunrise, so that we could see the sun rise as we hiked. Anthony had no problem hiking with us up a very steep trail, which was well maintained but totally quiet at this time of day. The tour of the Monastery and brunch afterwards made for a perfect morning!

I've travelled to other Central and Latin American countries, and Costa Rica was by far the easiest and friendliest. All the moving parts of the trip that kim kim set up worked smoothly (except one that was quickly fixed).

Ride CR transportation was prompt, friendly and scenic. The drivers gave us multiple rest stop opportunities that we usually didn't take, and also pointed out sights and scenic/photo opportunities that we did take. The best ride was between Monteverde and Arenal on a somewhat stormy day that made for great views passing over the mountains and across the lake. The hugely time saving and beautiful option to cross the lake instead of driving around it was brilliant!

Accommodations at the Cloud Forest Lodge and the Arenal Manoa were comfortable and convenient in a way that was very appropriate for the location. Very friendly and helpful staff certainly helps, but the addition of monkeys and toucans in the trees around the hotels was a wonderful surprise. Our favorite moment in Arenal was when the woman checking us in asked if there was anything more she could do, and we jokingly said we were really hoping to see a sloth. She turned to a young staff member nearby and said "Kevin, can you please show them the sloth", so he walked us across the parking lot, gave us his binoculars, and pointed to the sloth moving through the tree twenty feet away. We also especially enjoyed the trails available at the Lodge in Monteverde. Both places had good restaurants with amazing views and plenty of dining options that highlighted Costa Rica (but also played American/British instrumental pop music covers, aka elevator music, that was distractingly un-Costa Rican). It wasn't on the itinerary, but the San Lucas Treetop Dining Experience in Monteverde was one of the most enjoyable meals we've ever had.

All of the guides were knowledgable and excited about their work, balancing detailed wildlife information with local history and culture. Surprisingly consistent considering there is no formal training. The guide at the Hanging Bridges in Arenal was pretty quiet, but that was a much more commercial venue and it was pouring rain most of the time. If we were doing it all again, we would ask for longer tours. Our last day there, the tour company had our reservation, but didn't put us on their operations schedule, so no one picked us up. Since everyone else had been so prompt, I called after about 10 minutes, and they quickly got a driver and guide out to us and added a trip to some nice hot springs to the tour. The important thing was the guide offered us the option to take a much longer trail than normal, and that was a more thorough and satisfying experience.

We certainly enjoyed the lower stress and workload of having kim kim take care of all the arrangements. We're looking forward to using your service again, especially for trips like this where the area is unfamiliar and there are a lot of moving parts. Thanks!

Spain Trip over 12 days, Madrid, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Toledo. The scheduling and guided tours were very good. The local guides were generally very knowledgeable.
Make sure your mobile phone is connected to cellular, one would be completely lost without it!! Any changes or updates are communicated thru the KimKim App, and your travel advisors keep it well updated.
During our trip, the train system in the whole of Southern Spain was shut down due to train derailment. All our train travels from one city to another were cancelled. KimKim arranged for private car transportation so not to interrupt our schedule. Although they could have asked us to reimburse the much higher cost of chauffeured private transportation, using the excuse of Force Majeure or Act of God, they did not, and they absorbed the costs, and I give them lots of credit for that.
Overall, very satisfied with the service I got on this trip. Special thanks mostly to Summer, but also to Adam, Alejandra, Olivia.

My wife and I had a great trip to Costa Rica -- we didn't have time to plan it, but had some ideas. Adam was very attentive and had great suggestions as starting points and adjusted the plan to our desires. Kimkim's communication with us was just right -- not too much but just enough. Once we were in Costa Rica and had travelled some, we realized we needed to instead rent a car and drive ourselves (my wife suffers from motion sickness, but if she drives it's much better) -- Kimkim came through for us with the adjustment and got us a car for the rest of our trip. We enjoyed all of the guided trips we went on and saw lots of Costa Rican wildlife and birds. Our trip was amazing from start to finish. The whole team helped make our dream vacation come true. We ran into unforeseen circumstances before our scheduled departure and everyone did everything they could to help us move things around so we could still do the trip.
