What you'll do

Your flamenco and tapas private walk begins from Plaza del Triunfo, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods. You'll meet your guide and, together, head over to catch a performance of flamenco. A song, music, and dance style originating in Andalusia, you'll settle into the intimate venue, captivated by the passionate rhythms and energy of the performance, where talented dancers and musicians pour their hearts into each step and chord. Learn about the traditions, expressions, hand and wrist movement, and clothing behind the dance, and enjoy the show (about an hour)!

After the performance, you'll walk through a historic Seville neighborhood of your guide's choice, learning about the city's long, diverse, and complex history. You'll view monuments and architecture established by various cultures over the centuries, such as the Romans, Christians, Muslims, and Romani, before your foodie guide will lead you to snack and drink.

Expect to visit two to three authentic tavernas, where you'll savor a variety of local delicacies paired with four carefully selected drinks, which could include local wines or liquors. Your guide will share the rich history and cultural significance of tapas, offering insights into how these dishes have evolved over time. Your host will recommend dishes and Spanish wine varietals if you wish to share a genuine tapas experience.

I was hesitant about this because it was 4 hours long but it didn’t feel like 4 hours. We enjoyed the seeing the flamenco dancing followed with visiting 3 tapas bars. Our guide was fantastic. She knew where the good tapas bars were and more importantly what to order for us to eat. It was one of our best dining experiences for amazing variety of tapas.
