Since 2015, I’ve called Córdoba, Spain, home after making the leap from Montreal, Canada, and I’ve been with Just Explore since 2017. My background? Economics and banking—but honestly, switching to tourism was the best decision I ever made! Born in Algeria, raised in the UAE, and having experienced the magic of living in a multicultural world, I developed a passion for travel and exploring new cultures. It’s this passion that makes tourism the perfect fit for me.
I believe that every traveler deserves personalized attention, and I’m here to ensure that from your first contact, you feel like family. Listening to your needs and crafting the perfect experience for you is my top priority. I’m absolutely in love with Spain and consider it a privilege to share its incredible history, vibrant culture, mouthwatering food, and stunning landscapes with you.
When you book with Just Explore, you’re not just booking a trip—you’re joining a family that believes in authenticity, individuality, and crafting unique journeys just for you!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialize in creating private bespoke itineraries and fully escorted luxury tours for individual travelers and small groups in Spain, Portugal, and France (Bordeaux and Arcachon)."
How did you get involved in travel?
"After moving to Spain, I quickly fell in love with its beauty, fascinating history, and the charm of its language. This deep connection made me want to share everything I loved about Spain with others. Working at Just Explore gave me the perfect chance to do that.
That’s why I put so much care into designing each trip—not only to capture the essence of Spain but also to tailor it to our clients’ specific interests and needs. It’s not just a job—it’s about creating real, personalized experiences that truly reflect what each traveler is looking for."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"A gorgeous experience was the time I went on a "desert safari" in Dubai which included, dune bashing and dune boarding (like snowboarding but on sand!). We got to see camels in their natural habitat before arriving at the glamping site, a fabulous traditional nomad tent. Here, we enjoyed a lovely traditional homemade meal of biryani (a local rice dish) and listened to live traditional instrumental music before heading to sleep in our individual tents... what I'll never forget? The incredible desert sky with no lights around for kilometers, it felt like you could reach out and grab the stars right out of the sky! "

Hi Judy,
Thank you so much for your kind message — I'm really glad to hear that everything went smoothly and that you enjoyed your introduction to Spain! It was such a pleasure to meet you during the wine and olive grove tour — I'm happy you enjoyed it as much as I did.

It was good to have quick phone access to her during the trip when we needed a doctor and when no one could direct me to the car rental place. Best of all, she found two excellent bird photography guides for John who took him to great locations he could never have found otherwise. The other guides were good too, especially Marco, who led us on a walk through La Breña Natural Park and knew about all the local plants, and Joaquin in Cordoba.

Thanks so much for your lovely message! It was really fun designing this trip for you both, and I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed the mix of places and experiences. Vejer is such a special spot, and I’m glad you made it out to the sculpture garden—it’s definitely one of those hidden gems! I'm thrilled John had such a great time with the bird photography guides, and that your walks with Marco and Joaquin added something special to the trip; they truly are excellent at what they do. Traveling with a group of 14, including children ranging in age from 2 to 14, who have a variety of past travel experiences (and opinions) was challenging, but met more than satisfactorily in every way. Details were anticipated and planned, and Dalia was always available and responsive to handle any changes or special requests. Our personalized itinerary to fully explore Andalucia included windmills, great food (a cooking class which was a highlight for all), castles and palaces, fishing (a must for this family and another highlight), interesting museums (music and art!), a National Park, wading in the Mediterranean, and a fun New Year's Eve. The local guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and engaged well with the kids. Grandma and Grandpa were very pleased, and we are certain all our children and grandchildren were not disappointed after all the anticipation!

The location was beautiful, information interesting. Unfortunately, the guide was a distraction. She said she was a trained Opera singer and preceded to sing at inappropriate times. She also had exaggerated gestures and was a bit over the top, really. When we'd try to cut sections short, she was insistent that we had to follow her lead.
Our driver on the other hand was wonderful. Excellent, safe driver.

Planning our first trip to Southern Spain was enjoyable and productive with Dalia. We had several phone calls so that we could decide the type of trip we wanted to take. The selection of activities, hotels and general logistics suggested ended up in an itinerary that we both enjoyed. As the KimKim portion was the last week of our month European adventure, it was a relief to have this adventure planned out with the level of details we could not have done ourselves. KimKim and the local resources were top-notch.

Sevilla guided tour with Horse Carriage ride
Seville
We got to see beautiful areas of the city, especially the enormous cathedral, and really learned a lot from Sandra the guide. She was funny and knowledgeable and gave us good amounts of time on our own to take photos and wander. The horse carriage ride meant we got to see more of the city than we could have on foot, but it is also a horse carriage going into four lanes of traffic which was a bit nerve-racking.

Cordoba is beautiful and the guide was fun and very knowledgeable. We were really happy with the tour. We wished we had had more time to wander after the tour though, because there were more spaces we had wanted to see. We were lucky that our driver, John, was happy to take us to get some photos of the city.

The hike itself was beautiful, and our driver/guide who got us there, Alex. However, we hadn't realized beforehand that the hike wasn't just a hike, but that it was a state-run and state-controlled walk. Basically it was very crowded, you had to wear helmets and trudge along with a group on a very set path, from the entrance to the exit. The hike itself was lovely but we probably would have done a different hike had we known how controlled and crowded the experience would be.
