Since long time ago I have been travelling around the world discovering the different ways humans have organized their lifes. I was able to finish my communication studies in St. Louis, Missouri, and therefore had the chance to learn a different way of thinking from the european one: The "Why not?" mentality instead of the "Are you sure you want to do that?"
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"All over Spain; Northern Territory around the Basque Country, Pyrenees, and The diferent Ways of Saint James. The unknow Extremadura and Castile heritages. The light of the mediterranean coast, and the green mountains ranges in Asturias.
We design active trips for travellers, not tourists. Taylor-made programs close to our mother land and local traditions."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Going to America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania. Sometimes walking, sometimes cycling, sometimes with local transports, sometimes alone, sometimes with company. Always with my senses open. After being so connected with going abroad, I decided to show others in my homeland, the same things I was looking for when going outside; emotions. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"20 years ago discovering Cuba cycling from Santiago to Habana during one month using their local currency (not very legal at that time) and sharing experiences with locals. On new years eve we arrived to a very poor village by the north coast, and were invited to three different dinners on the same night. There was no way to say "no" to any of them, so we made our best eating and sharing like on a Groundhog Day."

Our tours in Barcelona with Lili were informative and fun. My sons 10 & 12 especially enjoued teh biking tour.
The fishing camp was fantastic, nice, clean and friendly staff. We caught some big carp and we will be back for the catfish!

Alfonso was wonderful at planning a trip without much feed back from me, as i was very pressed for time prior to the trip departure. The guides he hired were AMAZING! Jose was born and raised in Madrid, knew the city and the culture like the back of his hand, and his passion for art history and it’s links to the country were clear in his passionate tour of the Prado. Raquel was born and raised in SEville, and was a true ambassador for the city. Her love for her city and it’s history was clear, and she loved sharing it with us.

We had a wonderful time in Spain thanks to the services provided by our local specialists, Alfonso and team. They customized our visit to the way we enjoy vacationing, they were there for us all throughout the trip with reminders and to answer questions, they solved problems and issues when they inevitably come up and recommended the best activities even for our free time.
