Our trip was absolutely amazing. We loved our Riad located in the center of the Medina. Every morning our little House Bunting friend welcomed us to the day The wonderful staff: Hicham and others especially were so kind and patient with all my bird questions. They brought our breakfast up four floors so we could have it next to our room. Our guide Selem was incredible explaining everything about places and peoples. Our driver Rasheed amazed us in how he was able to move around the crazy traffic in Marakkesh. The desert was so beautiful! As we familiarized ourselves with the neighbor hood of our Riad I started to feel like we were coming home every day to beautiful peace and tranquility. We wish we could have stayed longer. Our recent trip to Morocco was an incredible experience, made even more special by the people who guided us along the way. One of the true highlights was our driver, Omar. Not only was he highly professional and reliable, but his warm personality and deep knowledge of Moroccan culture and landscapes added immense value to our journey. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and engaged throughout the trip.

We were also impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of all the local guides we encountered. Each one brought a unique perspective and helped us better understand the rich history and traditions of the region.

Among the many memorable experiences, we especially enjoyed the vibrant souks and a hands-on cooking class in the city—both offering a sensory feast and an authentic taste of Moroccan life. In contrast, the rural part of our trip offered breathtaking topography and charming village markets, giving us a chance to experience the country's natural beauty and slower pace of life.

Overall, this trip was a perfect blend of culture, cuisine, and scenery—made exceptional by the people who shared their knowledge and hospitality with us.

The guided tour in Taroudant was quite disappointing. We wanted to shorten the tour from two hours to one due to fatigue, but the guide insisted on following the complete itinerary. It was a little frustrating as we were really tired after a long day of travel and wanted to rest in our beautiful Riad.

Private Cooking Class w/ Souk Tour

The private cooking class with the souk tour was absolutely fabulous. The hosts were incredibly nice, and the environment was comfortable. It was a perfect cultural exchange and learning experience. We cooked bread, a tangerine dish, and a pastry. I highly recommend it!

The guided tour of Marrakech was extremely educational. It's essential to go on a city tour to truly understand the culture and city dynamics. It provided a wonderful perspective of Marrakech, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

A true bucket list adventure that did not disappoint! Our driver, Abdel, was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, safe, and didn't miss a single wonderful activity. He made us truly feel like part of his family. Everything was wonderful including the excursions into different city markets, the beautiful Ryads we stayed in across the country, and of course the fantastic camel ride and night glamping under the stars deep in the Sahara Desert.

We absolutely loved this ryad in Rabat and wished we could have stayed there longer. Leaving Morocco after just 10 short days was incredibly difficult! We’ve traveled the world extensively, but this trip, meticulously crafted by Morocco Immersion Tours & Adventures, stands out as one of our most cherished experiences.

Before embarking on this journey, KimKim allowed us to Zoom with owners, Sharon and Abdou, and coordinator Nihad. We exchanged ideas and expectations, and the trip they organized exceeded our wildest expectations. Nihad kept us updated throughout the planning process, making adjustments and ensuring that we had everything we needed for our private two-couple vacation.

We travelled all over Morocco - Casablanca to Rabat to Meknes to Fes, Merzouga to Boumalne Dades, and finally onto Marrakesh, with so many places in-between. We even crossed the Atlas Mountains twice.

Morocco is a unique and intricate country, but our trip truly came alive thanks to our exceptional driver and guide, Abdelhadi Oulaid (Abdel). His care, attention to detail, humor, and knowledge made this experience unforgettable. Sharon and Abdou aptly describe their company as a family enterprise, and while Abdel may not be blood, he made the four of us feel like part of his family.

All the hotels and riads we stayed in, carefully selected by Morocco Immersion, were magnificent, especially the Eden Boutique Hotel in Dades.

Throughout our Morocco Immersion trip, their hand-picked, specialized guides led us on an enriching journey of learning and discovery. Exploring with these guides and Abdel, we were introduced to a vibrant tapestry of Moroccan culture and people. The Amazigh, the indigenous Berber people, exude warm hospitality, kindness, and generosity.

Choosing highlights is an arduous task, but the golden sands of the Sahara, the chaotic yet captivating allure of Fes and Marrakech, the tranquil beauty of the Atlases and Dades Valley, and Abdel’s infectious humor and genuine care all stand out. Owner, Abdou, met us in Dades with a heartfelt embrace and personally guided us through the bustling market. He led us on a winding, historical walk through an old kasbah and brought us to a private home where we were warmly welcomed with tea and lunch. Our hosts, two sweet Amazigh women, used our market purchases, and prepared the most delectable couscous of our entire trip.

Despite the vast distances we covered and the numerous places we visited, Abdel’s exceptional care and attention to detail ensured that our trip was an absolute delight. He went above and beyond, escorting us to evening activities, fulfilling every request, and ensuring our safety and well-being at all times.

We spent 15 days in Morocco booked through kimkim and Morocco Immersion. Our local specialist, Nihad, did a nice job of listening to our requirements, adjusting the plan and ultimately putting together an itinerary that was just right. Our driver, Omar, was excellent. When you know you are going to spend 15 days traveling more than 1000 miles in a vehicle you tend to be a little apprehensive about the person you are going to spend time with. He was personable, an excellent driver and more than fulfilled his role as tour manager by connecting with each city tour guide, riad or hotel to make the process seamless for us. Also, when necessary, he ardently advocated for us. Our favorite places to visit were Chefchaouen, Merzouga (Sahara Desert) and Dades. I indicated to Nihad I wanted a high end experience and the riads, botique hotels and the camp in the Sahara she selected were all excellent. Would highly recommend.

The guided food tour in Marrakech was superb. Our guide was incredible, providing us with an enjoyable and insightful journey through the culinary side of Marrakech.

First, Nihad did a great job organizing our trip and making adjustments based on what we wanted to do - - very flexible when we discussed different options. The driver / guide was excellent.

The real value of the team came into focus when we broke an ankle on Day 2. The team rushed to our side and worked with us to get to a hospital for care and stayed by our side and were able to interpret for us while the doctor was explaining various options for care. When we decided to cut a trip short to head home for more definitive care, they provide options on the best way to get home considering we were 9 hours from Marrakech at that point.

Omar our trip manager and driver was terrific. He was very friendly and easy going and very informative. Lodging was always conveniently placed for exploring Medinas. I liked visiting the local trades and seeing the rug weaving, ceramic making, fossil preparation, leather tanning, etc. The camel ride and desert scenery were spectacular as was the monkey fingers hike in Dades Canyon.
