Morocco Immersion Tours and Adventures

Our tour guide was so much fun and so knowledgeable which I truly appreciated. He was amenable to all of my grandfathers needs and kept an extremely positive attitude throughout the entirety of the tour I had a great time and I strongly recommend this tour and guide.

This was such a fun activity everyone was so nice and friendly the food tasted amazing and I especially enjoyed going g to the local market to see a look into the city.

Beautiful building but a bit outdated. Drain in shower was clogged, wifi was weak, but these are minor issues. It’s location is great.

Great experience for those that do not camp. Desert experience was awesome. My son and I sand boarded :)

Probably our favorite hotel. The host was awesome - the most engaged with us. He kept us laughing throughout our time there.

Location- great! Rooms - okay but a bit crowded (probably our fault as we had two adults and two children in a room). Pool was nice break from the heat.

Perfect place to begin transition back to our world. And truly just 5 min from hotel. Rooms were extra cold- which was great :)

We were exhausted from travel - and this was the best first step as if kept us awake which allowed us to adjust to the local time. The mosque is absolutely beautiful. The tour was really minimal but I can’t say a guide was needed to have the full experience.

We definitely want to go back to Ifraine! Don’t get me wrong- the other parts of the drive were great (eg, Atlas monkeys) too. But Ifraine is so different by being lush and green within that Atlas Mountains.

Without a doubt- Fes is the city to see! Authentic! We felt like we were experiencing the daily life of someone that lives there. Markets are phenomenal! Tannery is great!

Marrakech is definitely touristy - after experiencing Fes first - Marrakech was just “ok”. Then again, it was at the end of our trip so we had already seen a lot of what it had to offer and we were a bit exhausted.

was a bit far from the university where I was attending a conference but very quaint and excellent restaurant!

I was the only one at the riad for my one night stay. The one man staff was amazing. Wasn't the best location but wasn't bad either.

A few things were interesting, but overall not terribly exciting

Ikram was outstanding. Really knowledgeable and communicative. I only wish the tour was longer, but we needed to cut it a bit short to make the next stop on time. Not Ikram or Omar's fault-- just the way things worked out with everything going on.

Said was phenomenal. His command of the English language is that of a native speaker and his knowledge and experience of the city shows you many hidden insights.

Great guide in Volubilis, though I forget his name. Perfect amount of time aloted to see the sites. Meknes was largerly under construction, but Omar showed and explained enough to get a feel. We stopped to take some photos of what was possible to see.

Again, Omar was great. It was stressful (for him) to get me to the Hassan II mosque on time to catch the tour, but we made it just in time, comfortably and safely.

Wonderful Riad. Well appointed rooms. Our three older kids stayed in one room and my husband and I stayed in another. Breakfast was amazing. The employees were very friendly and professional. The location was very well situated within the Medina.

Michelle runs an incredible Kasbah in the mountains. Rooms were very comfortable, the layout of the property was authentic and allowed for room enjoy the property from various perspectives. A wonderful place to go after a busy day touring. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Everything about this particular stay was so memorable from start to finish from the camel ride across the Sahara into the camp at sunset, to sand boarding down the dunes, followed by dinner and drumming.

We were very pleased with our stay here. It was a more western style hotel. Very nice pool and dining set up near the pool was also lovely. Staff were very professional and friendly.

We toured Atlas Studios, and our local guide there, Mohammed, made a couple of movie trailers starring our family! We had such a blast there. We could appreciate many of the sets from gladiator one at gladiator two at this studio. I got to be Cleopatra in a movie trailer.

Return trip to Marrakesh via Atlas mountains. New landscape to enjoy.

Spectacular landscape. Riding the camels at sunset into the luxury stars camp, and the entire stay at the camp was the highlight of the trip if there had to be one highlight. This is a do not miss experience.

Unique environment and you will recognize it from the movie, Gladiator. Our driver/guide, Omar, brought us to meet an elderly lady who lives in the settlement. She gave us a tour of her home, complete with courtyard full of goats and sheep. It gave us a glimpse into the life of a local woman who makes this famous old city her home.

Great location and friendly staff. Hotel is located very close to the Dar El Bacha and Bacha Coffee and the souks. It was very cozy and very quiet with security along the side streets leading to the Riad. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and always willing to help. Would recommend this if you like a cozy place to stay that is near the souk.

Lovely hotel with great location and friendly staff! They even offer yoga sessions next door. Breakfast at the rooftop deck was also amazing.

A beautiful riad and a very attentive staff. In addition, the location was great. It was just outside the medina and there were lots of restaurants close by.

This hotel is just a few feet from the medina and the fort, which made it an easy place to jump off from. The rooms were nice.

This hotel felt as if it was new: everything was in perfect condition. We particularly liked that it had a pool. We just wish that we had gotten there earlier so that we had more time to use it. Because the hotel is not near anything, dinner was included, and it was very good.

The "tents" were huge, and well appointed. I was surprised that there were no limits on the use of the showers, which had great hot water and water pressure. The meals were very nice, and we enjoyed the company of the other guests. In addition, we thoroughly enjoyed the drums around the fire.

Of all the places we stayed on our month-long trip to Morocco, this was my favorite. The owners did a fabulous job refurbishing the Kasbah: our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and squeaky clean. In addition the Kasbah had beautiful public spaces, both inside the Kasbah and outside. Adding to the charm, were the donkeys that walked by in the early morning on their way to the fields. The best part of the Kasbah was the owner, Michelle, who was from the United States, and who could help me understand what it had been like to purchase and renovate the Kasbah and now to run it. We had several long chats over tea and, while my partner went hiking, she had one of the members of her staff teach me how to make msinenmen.

While this Kasbah was fine, it did not have the character or warmth of the other kasbahs in which we stayed. Parking was difficult, there were weeds growing out of steps, and a tea set sat on a table for two days. The manager also did not interact with us in any meaningful way. Thus, although the kasbah was fine, it was not anything special.

Dar Eau Vive is an upscale hotel on a cliff overlooking the river. Because there was a large group there the weekend we were there, the hotel was not as quiet or as romantic as it might have been on a weekday. Although the rooms are nice, our was small and we ended up putting our suitcases on the balcony, which was covered. The pool is small but nice and the gardens are outstanding. On one of the nights we were there, a group of drummers was there, and we had a great time dancing with them.

Because the riad is in the medina, you have to walk in, and it took us a day or two to figure out how to get out. The staff was, however, very helpful and even walked us to the main gate to meet our driver. Our room was on the second floor (actually the third)) so we got some exercise. We enjoyed chatting with the staff about their villages.

Based on other reviews, we asked for a room with a balcony and, although there was noise, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony people watching. The only downside was that breakfast was on the rooftop, which meant we had to walk up 64 stairs before having our morning coffee.
