We were paired with Sydney as our Greece specialist. It was the trip of a lifetime and I can’t stress how great Sydney was! EVERY place we stayed was in the perfect area. EVERY tour we went on was amazing! EVERY ride showed up right on time! We couldn’t have used a more knowledgeable and helpful planner. Perfect to a tee. Already thinking about what other country we will use KimKim for. Can’t wait!

We had a wonderful family vacation to Sestri Levante (Cinque Terre)and Rome. We were very thankful to have had a local specialist plan this trip with knowledge about which activities would work best for all members of our family. We enjoyed our stay in Sestri Levante, away from crowds, yet still on Ligurian sea and an easy trip to explore the 5 towns of Cinque Terre. We loved the restaurants there and we even ended up adding a local cooking experience to our stay in Sestri Levante at Trattoria da Turin. We would highly recommend the pasta experience to others. Family friendly, wonderful staff, and getting to eat our completed pastas at the end. We had to cancel our boat tour due to the changes in location (weather was windy and sea was choppy) but we very much appreciated Leslie’s help in making this happen. Sometimes we realize that things won’t work out as well on a trip and it was nice to have a knowledgeable person helping along the way. Ending our stay in Rome felt like it would be rushed, but we enjoyed all of the tours and recommendations that Leslie coordinated. The Coleseum/Roman forum tour was excellent and even our youngest was entertained by the information shared by our tour guide, Gigi. He was personable, knowledgeable, and comedic. The Vatican/Sistine chapel tour was an experience we were glad to have done but we did find that we were more tired during this time and the tour was probably a little long for the 10 year old. Our tour guide, Patricia, did her best to share info on the highlights and was helpful at end of tour in sharing recommendations. My family would probably say the bike tour to Apian
Way was the highlight of the trip. I also enjoyed the bike tour but I was slightly nervous about using e bikes in the city. Our tour guide, Alessandro was conscientious of this and helped us feel safe. He also shared interesting facts along the way. We enjoyed our stays in both hotels and how each one had a very different feel. It was great to have transportation to various locations figured out for us so we did not have to spend too much time figuring out tickets and transfers. Overall a great and memorable trip and we are happy we went with booking through KimKim.

All I can say about our trip to Greece is that it was wonderful . . . The Kim Kim Team was amazing and truly made a difference all the way through — from itinerary development, to planning and logistics, and responding to questions and issues along the way. Regardless of time — day or night — Kim Kim responded very quickly and was always helpful. All of the logistics from the US to Athens to Naxos to Santorini were flawless!! With all of the drivers and guides and passes/tickets involved in the trip it was amazing that everything worked exactly as planned. The Kim Kim app with the itinerary, contact names and phone, tickets etc along with the chat feature was tremendously useful. The hotels were great, the drivers were prompt and courteous, the guides were knowledgeable and very easy/flexible to work with. I can’t say enough good things — probably the best trip that we’ve ever taken and Kim Kim was a key contributor. Will definitely use them in the future.

From the very first interaction I had with KimKim, I was very pleased. The right questions were asked to create the perfect plan to explore Greece. A dream trip come true. A couple minor hiccups, however did not diminish overall joy of the trip. The drivers provided were very good. The visit of distilleries were numerous and also outstanding. Most distilleries provided a keepsake. You can trust KimKIm to set up a great trip.

Wow what a great place to visit. We had a one on one tour guide that crushed it. Got to utilize the “copper dog” ourselves. Generous portions of single malt to taste.

Nadia and Daniela, our trip specialists, were a great team. In January, Nadia helped us plan our trip to Spain, and she and her colleagues created an itinerary that took our particular wishes and requirements into account. The trip was a good balance of guided tours and free time to explore. Logistical support through the app was excellent — chat replies were prompt and responsive, all our tickets were available on my phone, so I didn't need to carry a lot of paper, and the app updated when there were changes.
The hotels were all well chosen — good locations, comfortable and clean.
We were particularly pleased with our guides, who were knowledgeable about their cities, history, and art history, and very personable. Mario, our tuk-tuk driver in Madrid, was charming — he told us he was training to be a museum curator. He will be good at it. Although our Prado tour was cancelled for some reason, Daniela advised us to buy the three-museum Art Walk ticket, which worked out well since we didn't have to specify a time to visit. Manuel Salinero, our guide in Toledo, was terrific — and on top of a great tour, he knew the best places to take our photo, a nice bonus. In Seville, our guide Ferran was a trained archaeologist and history teacher, patient and engaging. Our Córdoba guide David was knowledgeable and thorough, and seemed as impressed and delighted by the Mezquita as we were. In Granada, Nacho took us on a fabulous tour of the magnificent Alhambra. It is hard to believe he could give the same tour ten times in a week, and still make it feel so fresh and personal. In Málaga, Gloria showed us the city she clearly loved, which was preparing for Noche en Blanco, a night of concerts and free museums.
The next day's tour of megalithic dolmens and the otherworldly landscape of El Torcal, guided by Justine, was a high point among many high points. She was passionate about prehistory and nature, charming company, and sensitive to our capabilities — the hike was fun but not exhausting. She suggested we stop for lunch at Art of Tapas in Antequera. So good.
We only had an afternoon in Barcelona, and it was raining, but Mari made it worthwhile. So many things I'd like to see again. She was the perfect guide for the Sagrada Familia — a place she clearly loves and knows deeply.
Thank you for all your good work and planning. It was an unforgettable trip.

Amazing trip to London! Kateryna was a great planner and checked off our list of things to do in London, Bath, the Cotswolds and Oxford. Kate was always available at a moments notice and stepped in when we needed help along the way. She called ahead to our hotels so that they would be prepared as we arrived and she sorted out any touristy questions that we had as we arrived and departed each location. We've used kimkim before for our trip to Spain (and it was also great), but Kate made us feel like we had someone we could reach out to at any time. We also ventured into The Netherlands for four days, but the planning on that segment did incur some problems. Tickets to museums were not pre-purchased and we had to scramble needlessly. "Self Guided" tours in several Holland cities left it us to research activities on our own. In review, we should have stayed in the U.K. for the whole trip as Kate has that country figured out completely. We would use and will use kimkim again for our next trip

We had such a magical time time in Greece. Having everything planned out for us really took the stress out of traveling. The hotel in Athens was perfectly located so we could get right out into some great neighborhoods. Our tour of the acropolis and food tour of Athens were a special treat. These tours gave us new insights into Greece that we would never have gotten on our own. Our stay in Corfu was just as wonderful. Even though we had to cancel 2 tours due to weather, which was remarkably easy and with a quick refund. The hotel we stayed in in was run by a wonderful family that provided us with anything we needed. Even getting us a rental car delivered to the hotel so we could explore the island. We really had a great time. This was the first vacation we have done were everything was set up by an agency. I will definitely use KimKim again.

We had an incredible trip to Italy!!! Every guide we had- Giarda in Venice, Ezgi in Florence, Jessica in Florence, Francisco at Pompei- were all fantastic. They were knowledgeable and engaging and so much fun!! All of our drivers were prompt and courteous and the Tuscany wine tour with Andrea was absolutely breathtaking and delicious!!! I started booking a 5 day long weekend trip with Long in March. We texted, had video chats, and tweaked the itinerary over two weeks. He was exceptionally receptive to my desire to cram as much in as possible and that I wanted history, culture, and some relaxation. My daughter and I landed, were expedited through immigration and customs, immediately met by our guide and driver. Long secured us a reservation at a Michelin Star restaurant for our first night. Our accommodations at GM Premium Hotel were lovely, the staff is excellent. Annie especially. She greeted us warmly each day and provided personalized suggestions via WhatsApp. We had a full day history tour. Then the were transferred to a beautiful cruise aboard the Lyra in Ha Long Bay. We stayed one night. Our driver Viet was always on time. Our transport van was very comfortable and always had water. Tin, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a good tour our last night that ended on train street. Truly and wonderful experience start to finish. Long evening came to meet me at our hotel on day 1 to welcome me to Hanoi in person. I highly recommend Long and Kim Kim.

My husband and I usually plan our own trips but we are so glad we had KimKim plan our Patagonia trip. Our transportation, tours and hotels (loved Lago Grey) were organized for us and we avoided traveling with a large group, wearing matching name tags, and following a umbrella carrying guide. It was the perfect compromise. KimKim did the big planning, offered suggestions for things do, but gave us the freedom to explore on our own. Erin adjusted the itinerary to fit our choices and once we were on our trip, Jessica handled every detail and responded quickly to our many questions.
Our favorite tours involved glaciers (we did four and loved them all) but if you only have time for one glacier, Perito Moreno Boat and walking tour is the tour you want, This glacier is spectacular.
Our Torres del Paine Private Wildlife Tour was another highlight. We had a hike over gentle hills and then it got wild! Our guide, Armando, spotted a puma across the river and our driver, Juan, pulled the car over. We all watched the puma swim across the river to where we were standing and watched it leap up the mountain side! Armando took videos for me!
Even more amazing was the concern Armando and Juan had about the hike we had planned for the next day. After our hike across the gentle hill, they realized that we should not attempt our planned hike. They had a private chat and came up with an easier hike with as similar view. It was perfect and even had a lake view for our picnic lunch! Their quick planning was an example of how great it was to have such personal attention.
Our only regret is that we planned our trip to Iguazu Falls instead having KimKim do it!

We had a great experience in Peru with KimKim and the local tour company Peruvian Soul. Jimena worked with our preferences in setting up our trip, made great suggestions, and patiently helped us to make changes and add ons as we finalized our plans. She helpfully answered many questions that we had prior to our trip.
We did a city tour in Lima with Nancy as our guide. She was great and was willing to tailor the tour to our interests
After Lima, we flew to Cusco and won the lottery with our amazing guide Julio who we were fortunate to be with for the next 8 days. I would give Julio a 15 rating out of 5 if that was possible. Super knowledgeable about every area that we toured and able to answer our numerous questions but also amazingly patient, kind and friendly. KimKim is lucky to have Peruvian Soul as their local travel company (maybe they contract with others as well?) and Peruvian Soul has a gem in Julio as their customer facing employee. Julio went the extra mile daily and we couldn't be more grateful for the time that we had with him.
Guido was our driver and was also great; friendly and kind with a great smile and also able to handle many narrow roads, switchbacks, and hairpin turns in our travels with ease. We were returning from the Rainbow Mountains and came to an area that was under construction: Guido got out and helped to shovel so that we could continue on our way back to Cusco.
We had such a good experience with Julio and Guido that all six of us (including my 20 something kids and their significant others) had tears when we had to say goodbye at the airport.

We overall loved this hotel; beautiful setting with an amazing green space surrounded by mountains. We read somewhere else that the rooms were dated, but the place was built in 1810, so I'm not sure why people would expect a modern look. The hotel was clean and staff was gracious. We had several hours free one afternoon and were able to enjoy some relaxation time by the pool with the mountain views

Nice location in Miraflores. We got to our hotel around 6:30 in the morning and allowed all of us to check into our rooms immediately which was very much appreciated after a long night of travel. They had pillows and blankets in the van for us so that we could nap on the way; this was much appreciated. We were the first people there which made this even more of a special hike. Today, we returned to the Machu Picchu site by bus and toured the actual site (rather than the overview following the hike the day before). Again, so much history here and in Peru in general. We felt lucky to get a second day at the site with good weather on both days. What an incredible experience

Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu: Ollantaytambo - Km 104 - Aguas Calientes

We had to start at marker 106 instead of 104 as part of the Inca trail was washed out which meant we missed the first archeological site of Chachabamba which was a bummer but also could not be helped. It also meant that we had to use the very steep switchback trail that is used by the porters. This was a touch trail, but we are so glad that we experienced it and were quite impressed with the fitness level of the porters running up and down the steep trail with heavy packs. We had a nice lunch at the mid point and visited the site of Winay Wayna which was an amazing site on a very steep hillside The second half of the hike was less grueling but still physical. Getting to the Sun Gate to our first view of Machu Picchu was spectacular. An emotional and somewhat spiritual moment as this is a trip that we haven't wanted to take for several years. The mountains and ruins of Machu Picchu are everything but also much more than what was expected. It is hard to describe the beauty of the site in words. Completing the difficult hike first, made getting to the site so much more rewarding

We can't thank Julio enough for his patience and kindness on this hike. Breathing was difficult for a couple of us and he always stayed behind with whoever was struggling a bit. He is full of great Peru facts and legends and this was definitely appreciated for the information as well as for the distraction as we climbed. He was so encouraging the entire time. We also appreciate all the pictures he patiently took of all of us.

Guido had a lot to do today with driving us to the train, getting out overnight packs on the train and then getting our main luggage to our next hotel in Cusco which was in San Blas on the hill of which he could not drive fully to the door meaning, he had to carry luggage for 6 people up a long steep set of stairs and then down a street to get our luggage in storage until the next day. He is also such a nice and kind man. And obviously very strong.

Discover Traditional Farming in the Andes: Amaru & Pisac arqueological site

We started the day with a hike around the archaeological site of Pisac; another amazingly beautiful setting with Inca ruins and so much interesting information shared by Julio. We were also lucky to have some of the local llamas and alpacas on the trail so were able to get some great photos next to them. We then headed to Amaru to have lunch with a local family. They were all kind and welcoming. They taught us about their farming and we were able to cut down some of our food and also able to help prepare the food a bit. We saw how the women made some of their crafts; it was a group of highly talented people and the food was delicious

Both of these areas are a must see. We were at the salt flats of Maras near sunset which made for a beautiful setting. Julio also took us to a nice shop where we were able to buy some of the salts. The chocolate at the same shop was amazing The "experimental laboratory" of Moray was also a great experience. Amazing the knowledge that people had so many years ago and the setting was gorgeous

We started the Lima tour with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana archaeological site and were surprised that we didn't go in. We just stood outside for some information. We should have asked about it, but just assumed that it was not allowed. We looked it up later, and you are able to go in with a guide. We then went to the Larco Museum which was super interesting This was followed by a visit to the El Centro district with historical buildings and churches as well as a visit to Chinatown with lunch at a Chifa restaurant Nancy was our guide and was great

Basically, this was the pick up at the airport which was seamless. Our daughter and her boyfriend arrived late the night before and four of us arrived at 5AM. We appreciated that someone was there for two different transports at odd hours

Everyone we had was great..Bogdan in Rome was so passionate and informative about the art and history, Hilaria introduced us to great Rome food, Valentina gave us a excellent intro to Florence art, Ezgi's private food, Gelato and wine windows tour really highlighted the Best of Florence, Marco showed us Venice with great tips, Guida shared so many hidden gems during our private tour and took time to map out out places for us to go, and Carlos' food tour of Venice was some of the best food of our trip! In addition, the two standouts for us were Luca and Erika's Tuscan cooking class and our private days with Andrea. He took so much time to explain everything to us and his personal connections to the area and wineries made it truly special.

Fabio's attention to detail made us feel so cared for and we loved that so many of our guides and pick up/transfers knew Fabio personally.

To specific places gave us wonderful suprised— the Reef Hotel’s presidential suite was spectacular ( watch out for the cockatoo’s )— so spacious and what a view.
