Elena was a dream to work with and flawlessly dealt with our shifting numbers, optional day activities and requests all the way through the trip. We dined at a long list of amazing places including a family home and Michelin-star restaurants. Highly recommend!!

We loved our guides. In Bangkok, Nana took great care of us. My daughter and I added an afternoon with her to see “local neighborhoods” and it was our favorite. Highly recommend. She took us to the flower market; we saw great street art; a unique tea shop and a small chocolate shop.

In Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, we loved our time with Pong. We learned so much from her and felt her love for Thailand through her stories and interactions with local people. She also helped me navigate food since I am celiac and eat gluten-free. She is a true host with a warm and caring manner.

We loved learning about Buddhism and the history of Thailand from both Pong and Nana.

We particularly loved our bike tour in Chiang Mai (thanks Hockey). And loved the Elephant Sanctuary - highly recommend. The cooking school was perhaps our all time favorite cooking class - and we have done them all over the world. Again, great attention to my need to avoid gluten by our chef Tom.

We would not recommend the floating market outside Bangkok. It was way too touristy for us.

We finished our trip in Koh Samui. The hotel manager Aimee was so good at welcoming us and making sure we had a perfect stay. And we had a lovely lunch at The Cliffs and a beautiful dinner at The Four Seasons.

We did wonder about accommodations on the other side of the island where the water seemed a bit clearer and more blue bc of the rock and sand. But we had a lovely visit to that side of the island.

Everything worked out well and we got to custom our experience to what we wanted to spend time more on.

I would say that the planning for Phuket was the least successful because traffic from the landing day was not taken into account which changed the first day Itenerary. The island hopping was also not anticipated to fill the whole day. If we knew, would have been fine skipping this. The tour guide did amazing with all the changes though!

Bangkok tour guide lady was exceptional! She was very accommodating and took all of our wants and really catered to how we want to spend time on.

We wish we had skipped the railroad and floating market in Bangkok. The side itinerary she planned for one of our late arrivals was great!

The hotel in chang mai was nice but not having a bar was a draw back and we thought it could have been located in neighborhood closer to eating places etc.

I would not recommend using Kimkim based on my recent experience planning and traveling in Japan.

The issues began before my trip even started. My original itinerary contained errors, including incorrect information and links that did not work. After those issues were corrected, I continued to find inaccurate dates on the itinerary, which created unnecessary confusion and required me to repeatedly verify details on my own.

Communication was also a significant concern. My original specialist, Bastion, left the company, but there was little proactive communication regarding the transition. As a traveler visiting Japan, I expected clearer guidance and support, especially around navigating the train system, understanding timing between destinations, and other logistical details that are critical when traveling in a country with a complex transportation network.

Unfortunately, the problems continued once I arrived in Japan. The time for my ramen food tour was changed, but I was never informed. As a result, I was unable to participate because no one showed up at the scheduled time. Ivan later indicated that I would receive a refund, but I have yet to receive it.

I also had a concerning experience during my Hakone tour. The guide informed me that I was expected to pay for his lunch, as well as his admission fees for the pirate ship tour and the ropeway. This was unexpected and not disclosed in advance. I raised the issue with Ivan, who acknowledged my concerns and indicated he would follow up. However, I have not received any update or resolution.

What is most disappointing is that many of these issues occurred within the first few days of my trip, creating unnecessary stress during what should have been an enjoyable vacation. While Japan itself was an incredible destination, the planning, communication, and customer support I received through Kimkim fell far below my expectations.

Based on my experience, I would not use Kimkim again, nor would I recommend the service to others.

My time in Thailand was the best experience in all aspects! I don't believe there was any "specific" part of the trip that stood out as my favorite. I enjoyed every Temple, Market, Interaction with locals, Thailand Culture and the beautiful landscapes of Bangkok and Pattaya. Mae Klong Railway, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Mangrove Forest visit was a wonderous experience, as well as China Town and the various markets. Learning the history of the Temples and Thai culture was an exceptional experience and my guides were well versed with their presentations of all the sites that I visited. I enjoyed the food from the various vendors throughout Bangkok and Pattaya. Everyone that I came in contact with, from my guides (Ms P Leena and Mr P Golf, drivers Chen, Mr P Golf and Pumin J), locals, hotel staff and vendors, were very pleasant and always willing to assist to make my stay in Thailand spectacular! I experienced first hand why Thailand is called the "Land of Smiles" and how very true that statement is in every aspect!

The one thing that made my decision to go with KimKim Travel is their commitment to have a personal Travel advisor (Benjamin) located in Thailand. This was a big plus in my book to have someone available to answer questions, make changes or offer personal advice without a time delay. Ben's attention to detail and his listening skills made my visit to Thailand the best experience of my life! Great job to everyone and I thank you all!

I enjoyed every minute and every excursion that was set up with such a wonderful personal touch. I will remember this trip forever as the best trip of my life? We just returned from Thailand and it was absolutely amazing. From the start of the planning of the trip to the day we returned. Elena my trip advisor had everything planned perfectly from the private car pick ups to the sight seeing tours, cultural experiences, and island jumping to Phuket. I actually broke my foot in the airportdeplaning the airline that took us to Phuket and although I didn't get to attend everything Elena had planned for us in the itinerary I still enjoyed the ambiance, environment and atmosphere. Our tour guide Pom was fantastic, I love his people personality. He was very informative, taking us to some great temples and eatery places. This was definitely one of my favorite trips thanks to Elena and pom.

The Night Street Food Tour After Dark by Tuk Tuk was quite an adventure. We got to experience the lively night markets and taste some authentic Thai cuisine. Although one noodle dish wasn't exactly to my taste, the shrimp with jasmine rice we had at another spot was fantastic. Overall, it was a delightful way to explore the local food scene.

Everything from the planning stages until flying home at the end of our trip was seamless and well executed by kimkim. I started working with Hoa during the planning and booking but then Phuong stepped in before the trip and they were both wonderful. We had a great time with our guide Ron and driver Cow in Bangkok and Kanchanaburi. The excursions to the Elephant sanctuary and pig island/snorkeling was also great. Thank you so much!

My 21 year-old daughter and I had an exciting and memorable trip to Bangkok and northern Thailand. The entire trip was great, especially as our first time in Asia. We were met with warm welcomes from the moment we arrived to when it was time to leave. Phuong and her team were great. Our greeter, tour guide for the night food tasting was also great and allowed us to make the stops we needed. The entire team was able to also accommodate changes to our trip due to my husbands unexpected ankle injury prior to us traveling. Overall a great experience and we will use KimKim again for our next SouthEast Asia adventure!

The only complaint is there was too much commute time on this trip.

The description of the tour sounds nicer than it is. No inflatable mattress or others, boats are very old and not very clean, they had to look for life jackets as most of them were broken. After we wanted to leave the first island earlier (beach was full of waste) we had to wait 30 minutes as our boat was gone (maybe for other passengers?) We had a great experience working with Bella through KimKim for our trip to Thailand. This was our first time using a service like this, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations.

Bella was extremely responsive from the start and did a great job collaborating with us to build an itinerary that actually fit our family—not some cookie-cutter plan. She was flexible, attentive, and made adjustments along the way so everything felt dialed in.

One of the biggest highlights for us was having local guides. That completely changed the experience. Instead of feeling like tourists trying to figure things out, we always felt taken care of and confident in where we were going and what we were doing. It took a lot of the stress out of traveling and allowed us to actually be present and enjoy the experience.

I was a little hesitant to use Kimkim because I hadn't heard of it and couldn't quite tell even what it was. First, I want to assure anyone reading this that it is a totally legit site/service! I think people from different agencies can sign up on the platform, and they receive the benefit of Kimkim marketing and receive inquiries from the Kimkim site. Meaning, our agent was not "from" Kimkim but rather used their platform. This is not a bad thing! We got a local agent but with a really good communication platform and app.

For the actual trip planning, we first thought we would use Kimkim for our entire trip, but I ended up wanting more direct say over our flights and hotels. So I planned those myself. But even after I did that, Bella asked if she could still help to plan our trip. She was mostly responsive (delays over the weekend and of course due to time zone), and we had our final plans a number of days in advance (maybe a bit late for anxious planners, but I am not so that was fine for us).

As for the actual activities:

Pickups/dropoffs: They were hit or miss. It was a little tough finding people at the airports, and there was some waiting involved. (Find them, wait around, be walked to a door, wait for the van.) In my other trips, a person met us coming out of security and walked us straight to the vehicle. BKK is a much larger airport, but there were even some delays in Phuket (where the transportation service went to the international terminal instead of the domestic terminal, even though we had arrived from Bangkok). The vehicles were also hit or miss -- some nice and new, other older ones and one even with some cobwebs around the curtains. I liked that we generally had the same drivers each day so we could spot them and vice versa. I'd give a 3/5 for transportation.

Longtail Boat Canal Tour: This was fun, a nice way to see different parts of the city. We stopped at a cute market and got to see some sights from the water. Our boat was fine, and we enjoyed that we had a private boat so we could come and go as we liked. 5/5

Midnight Tuk-Tuk Food Tour (Bangkok): We loved this! Ice the guide was amazing - funny and informative. We covered a lot of ground, ate some delicious food, and got to see Bangkok in a different way than we had before. Highly recommend! 5/5

Half-Day Temple Tour: It was very hot this day, and we with our kids wanted to kind of speed it along. Our tour guide did not read the room very well. We kept asking him to go faster or leave certain sites earlier, but he kept on talking. SO much. Even in the van. This made the tour a little frustrating, as we wanted a more abbreviated version given the heat and our personal travel preferences. But we did see some nice sites, so we were glad for that. 3/5

Island hopper boat tour: We have done similar trips where we have a private boat and visit different locations in a number of different countries. We visited the Khai islands because we didn't want to travel too far from Phuket. I'm honestly not sure I would recommend this for travelers. We only got out of the boat at one of the islands. It was pretty but very commercial. The crew led us to their favorite vendors, and we did end up having a nice relaxing time. But I wouldn't call these islands "must see." The snorkeling is terrible, not even worth trying because there is nothing to see at all. I might have seen 1-2 fish. Also, in our prior trips, the boat itself was part of the fun. You could tan on a ledge, hang out on a swimming mat or tubes attached to the boat, dive, from its side. This boat was for "transportation", not fun. Its only purpose was to drive us around, very industrial and no amenities at all on or with the boat. (Life jackets and snorkels/masks.) We were disappointed. We did love the lunch on a floating dock, and the crew was quite good. Funny and engaging. But there was no food and no place to even lay outside on the boat. 3/5.

General: It was easy to work with Kimkim. I did really like their app and the convenience of having everything in one place. Bella communicated well with us and reminded us for things like travel documents. We had local contacts everyplace we went, so we felt well connect and knew whom to contact if we needed anything. I would probably use them again, but I would be more specific about what we wanted, to ensure that the services met our expectations in real life.

Took my trip to Thailand back in February 2026. Kimkim takes and holds your hand every step of the way. The guides, the personalized excursion, and the quality of service was simply flawless. The team at Kimkim, Bella and Tina, were there for whenever I needed them. You're in great hands with them. The guides felt genuinely happy to be there, and often went the extra mile to make our trip as smooth as possible. Thank you, Mr. Betty, for a spectacular tour of Bangkok!

I booked my trip to Thailand literally 10 days before departure and it couldn't have happened without the support and guidance from Phuong. All questions were answered promptly and everything was taken great care of, from drafting initial itinerary, finalizing itinerary, providing tips and details of the trip to checking in with me everytime I was in a new city. From the moment I landed there wasn't a moment I felt out of place or didn't know what to expect for each day of my trip. Day 2 of the trip was my birthday and I lost count of the cakes I got from the hotels and local guide.

Shout out to Pong, my local guide in Northern Thailand who did her job with great care and attention to detail. She felt like a local friend than someone who only wants to tick the boxes to get the job done. Thanks to her I had a relaxed time in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai which was what I needed.

Thank you again Phuong and Pong for putting together a trip so well and making it a memorable one. Less than a week back and I am already missing Thailand!

We are so happy we used Kimkim! Not only did it make our travel seamless, we received quick responses if any issues or questions did arise. Starting with getting picked up at the airport - our guide assisted us with checking into our first resort and gave us wonderful tips and directions. We traveled to multiple island while there and all transfers (including tuk tuks, longtail boats, ferries and vans) went without a hitch. 3 of the resorts we stayed at were amazing. Burasari in Phuket and Rawi Warin in Ko Lanta were great! Even saw wild monkeys in Ko Lanta! Our last resort was Koh Jum Beach Villas and we cannot say enough about how fantastic this place is! We had a couple of great island tours. The food tour in Old Town Phuket was beyond fantastic. The guide was amazing and we got to see so much! KimKim and especially Kien really took the stress out of our vacation. We will definitely will use them again!

Koh Jum Beach Villas

If I could give this more stars, I would. This place made me feel like I was on White Lotus. We were greeted the moment we stepped off the transport and given a full rundown of the resort and our room. The grounds are AMAZING. The beach was almost deserted and water was clear as could be. Easy to walk out pretty far and so many shells on the beach to look at. The sounds of the cicadas and birds were hypnotizing! We often had the pool to ourselves as well. The food is fabulous and the staff was attentive. This is off the beaten track, but we felt so tranquil here that we didn't get bored. The villas were magical - views of the ocean and the gorgeous flora. Did I mention the wine cellar? They will give you a tour - very well stocked. We would return here in a heartbeat! Great way to end our lovely Thailand trip.

Just wow! The villas fully opened up during the day (staff will open up in the morning and shut things down in the evening) and shuts up for mosquito time. The views from anywhere are amazing. Whether it's a beach view or of the grounds, it is all beautiful!

So serene. It's in the sticks, but a beautiful sandy beach that feels like it belongs only to you. The grounds are amazing! Can't say enough about the beauty here.

Took care of every need we had and were super friendly. Cleaning staff were like little faeries. Every time we came back from the pool or breakfast, our room was ready. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and waited on us hand and foot. We even saw them comforting and playing with a baby while the rest of the family dined. From check in to check out - they were on it!

So comfortable. Outdoor shower was great and the mini kitchen well stocked. Spotless everywhere.

Rawi Warin Resort & Spa

This was a beautiful resort. Rooms were great. Comfy beds, clean and great mini bar selections. This resort is very hilly, lots of stairs. This wasn't a big issue and you can call at any time for a tuk tuk to give you a ride. Food was excellent. Best part was seeing wild monkeys right outside our room. The grounds are beautiful and on the beach.

This place could use a bit of updating to be amazing. It was a bit worn down and the food was ok. It is a bit off the beaten path so not a lot to do. No poolside service, which would have helped a lot. The resort didn't work well with Kimkim on honoring our excursions (Kimkim promptly refunded us!) and weren't the most attentive. The restaurant staff was great, but the food was not fabulous, nor was it bad. Beds were hard as rocks and the pillows left much to be desired. Pretty scenery however.

We really enjoyed this resort. Super easy to walk to the beach and to other fun spots in Phuket. The staff was excellent and the food was amazing! The resort and pools are beautiful and feel like a little oasis in the middle of the city. There are two 2 for 1 happy hours - we didn't miss out on those! We enjoyed the hotel spa - went twice. Great place to stay and highly recommend!

Benjamin created an affordable and amazing itinerary for Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. We really enjoyed the diverse food, shopping cultural sites, and nightlife in Bangkok. Kodalay Seafood Buffet was our culinary highlight, great seafood by the river.

Transportation from airports to various destinations were seamless. Elephant Sanctuary tour in Phuket was an amazing experience feeding and walking amongst the elephants in their natural habitat. Also spent time on the beautiful beaches in Phuket and island hopping to Maya Bay.

Benjamin was always available to help in booking extra room or when I lost my wallet and key card. I would highly recommend him for any trip to Thailand.
