My wife and I had an incredible honeymoon through Thailand and Vietnam, making stops across Phuket, Bangkok, and Nha Trang. We owe a huge part of that experience to our specialist Bella. From the very beginning, Bella was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us create a special & personalized trip.

Bella did an amazing job putting together an itinerary that balanced adventure, cultural exploration, and relaxation across many food tours, wildlife and oceanic exploration, even a ring-side Muay Thai experience at Bangkok's famous Rajadamnern stadium.

One of Bella’s biggest strengths was her communication. She was consistently prompt, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever we had a question or wanted to make an adjustment. Even with a trip spanning two countries and multiple destinations, we always felt like we had someone in our corner who could help us navigate anything that came up. My wife also has a severe nut allergy which Bella made sure all of our guides, vendors, and experiences, were more than prepared for. That peace of mind was invaluable, especially for such an important trip.

We also want to give a huge shoutout to the local guides and drivers who helped make the experience so memorable! In Phuket, Nui took us through a great food tour, Mr. Uncle and his team showed us an incredible time through James Bond Island, Mr. Man was an excellent driver, and the team at the Elephant Sanctuary were incredibly sweet! In Bangkok, Chaloo gave us an incredible tour of many beautiful temples, Chef Nam was an incredibly teacher during our cooking class, and Amp was a fantastic TukTuk Food Tour guide! Mr. Chin was also a great driver, being communicative and prompt each and everyday. In Nha Trang, Van was the perfect host, even stepping in when his driver got sick! He and his partner Mr. Tony added to our itinerary by showing us spa and food spots loved by the locals to make sure we had an authentic experience. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Our guides did a fantastic job bringing the history and culture of Thailand and Vietnam to life, while our drivers made getting around each destination feel easy and stress-free. Their warmth and hospitality really added to the experience.

Our family vacation to Thailand was beyond what we expected. The planning and detail to each excursion was exactly on point.

An Amazing Thailand Family Trip

Thank you, Minah, for organizing such an amazing family trip to Thailand! We truly had a wonderful time and created so many unforgettable memories.

Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. From the airport pickups and hotel arrangements to all the transfers between destinations, everything went smoothly and was very well organized.

Our Bangkok tour guide, Gifty, and our driver, Sunshine, were both knowledgeable and wonderful. We learned so much about Thailand’s history and culture from them. One thing we especially appreciated was their punctuality—they always showed up on time for our excursions.

Our Chiang Mai tour guide, Joe, was fantastic! He was funny, personable, and shared even more fascinating history and culture with us. His food recommendations were phenomenal and definitely added to our experience.

Our Phuket excursions were wonderful, relaxing, and enjoyable. The only excursion that felt a little overwhelming was our Phi Phi Island trip. The itinerary described it as a “small group,” but there were approximately 80 passengers on one speed catamaran. It felt very crowded, and at times we felt rushed compared with what was outlined in the program. If we were to do it again, we would definitely choose a smaller group or a private tour for a more relaxed experience.

As for the hotels, the only disappointment was our final accommodation at Thavorn Resort and Spa. We had discussed and confirmed two beachfront cottages next to each other, but unfortunately, that arrangement did not happen. Instead, our cottage was one cottage away from the rest of our family.

Overall, our experience with Kim Kim and with you, Minah, as our travel agent, was great. You did an excellent job organizing and coordinating our family vacation.

As they say, there is always room for improvement, but these few concerns did not take away from the wonderful memories we made.

Three comments though on the process:
1. Estimated travel time to and from events should be included in the itinerary. Too many events were so far to and from our location that we would have made different decisions had we known that ahead of time.
2. Itinerary items should include cost during planning phase. There were some events that I imagine I definitely would have skipped or altered had I known the cost.
3. Sometimes the guides were too much. It felt like having a babysitter. I imagine this approach is necessary for large group tours, but for just two of us on our honeymoon, it felt a little oppressive sometimes. We would have preferred a "let's meet back here at xx time" approach.

Poukie was an absolute delight. Fantastic guide.

Car ride to the dinner was way to long to be enjoyable. I imagine we were also jet lagged. After dinner, we went to a rooftop bar that was just sort of mid. Our trip to Thailand was very well organized by Bella. When guides were expected to meet us at 10AM, they showed up by 10AM, same with taxis, etc. Traveling was made simple and enjoyable. I had never used a service before, but took all the anxiety away. Should I travel to Asia again, I will definitely use KimKim.

We had an incredible family trip to Thailand with a group of nine ! Planning travel for a large group can be challenging, but KimKim and our local specialist, Bella, made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

Bella put together a fantastic itinerary that catered perfectly to everyone in our group. Throughout the trip, our local guides were wonderfully informative, friendly, and exceptionally accommodating to all our needs.

One of the biggest highlights was visiting the elephant sanctuary—it was truly an amazing, ethical, and unforgettable experience for all of us. We also spent time on the wonderful island of Koh Samui, which was absolutely beautiful and relaxing.

Beyond the sights, we were blown away by the genuine warmth and friendliness of the Thai people everywhere we went—and, of course, taking advantage of the wonderful and very affordable Thai massages!

We had an amazing experience with the whole entire trip/tour. The experience from the driver, the places and things we have done. The elephant sanctuary was something I truly enjoyed, feeding & bathing this huge gently giants. We truly were amazed on how huge the Buddhist temples and their status. The one in Bangkok (WOW!!!)
The foods were all so delicious. My daughter got hooked with the Mango sticky rice while my Son enjoyed all of the food. I loved my Iced Tai Tea - refreshing

Overall, the trip was truly amazing, and we really appreciated all the thoughtful details and extra touches along the way. The fast-track airport service was fantastic, and we were very impressed with the quality of the hotels throughout the trip. It was clear that a lot of care went into the planning, and our family came home with so many wonderful memories.

A few suggestions for future trips: the Bangkok food tour was a little challenging with such a large group. We would have enjoyed smaller, more local venues rather than Chinatown, which was difficult to navigate with a group of our size.

The Shangri-La Chiang Mai was a wonderful choice for families, and the kids really enjoyed the hotel. However, I would probably recommend dining outside the hotel, as some of the best food we had on the entire trip was at the local restaurants in Chiang Mai. Exploring the local dining scene was definitely one of our highlights. We loved the Melia Koh Samui and the highlight was the speed boat tour and lunch on the beach.

Since we booked so far in advance, we had also hoped our rooms could have been located closer together. With a large family group, having rooms near one another would have made things a little easier.

These are relatively small suggestions in the context of what was truly a fantastic trip. We are so grateful for all the planning, attention to detail, and special touches that went into it. It was an incredibly memorable experience for our entire family, and we really appreciate everything you did to make it so special.

Bella did an amazing job setting things up for us and adjusting to our needs. Our diver from the airport, for a tour of the island, and delivery back to the airport as well as the other drivers, tour guides from Mr. Tu's and the Elephant Sanctuary were exceptional. Mr. Tu's team was especially thoughtful, ensuring everyone stayed hydrated and safe. The team from the Elephant Sanctuary were very courteous and took pictures as needed so those on the adventure could enjoy it to the fullest, even if it felt a little rushed.

Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the staff was extremely helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and peaceful for a beachside resort, which made the experience more relaxing than the hotels I have stayed at in the past.

The location is great. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, though it is a bit out of the way and pretty far from the touristy area, so transportation is needed unless you enjoy long walks on the side of the road.

We didn't interact with most of the staff other than at meals, but the ones we encountered were courteous and motivated to help in whatever manner they could.

As stated above, the room was spacious. It was also very clean and the AC made it a comfortable place to relax after a long day.

The snorkeling on this tour was great, with a good amount of reefs and fish to see. Don't expect Great Barrier Reef quality, but it was great to finally see some fish after our first day not seeing anything. This was a great start to snorkeling. There wasn't much to see and the time we got to snorkel was short, but it gave my wife and I the ability to learn how snorkeling is done before we missed out on future snorkeling experiences. The kayaking was great. The hiking was good, but we came to learn that Thailand doesn't really know the difference between ladders and stairs 😂

We really enjoyed seeing three distinct parts of Thailand, Bangokok, Koh Sumai, and Chang Mai. Leena, our guide in Bangkok, was great and listened to our feedback. We didn't have a guide in Koh Sumai. Our guide in Chaing Mai, Lilly, was also wonderful and provided a lot of interesting information about the areas we visited. If I had to change anything about the intinerary, I would trade one day in Koh Sumai for another day in Chaing Mai. The accomodations we stayed at thoughout the trip were very comfortable and nice quality. It was a good mixture of a guided and self-led vacation.

I did not know exactly what I had hired until I got on the trip and I was supported through every part of the process. I appreciated the private guides in Bangkok and Chiang Mai (Giftsy and Timmy). They were incredible throughout my time in both cities and allowed for flexibility in our tours. It was so personalized to what we wanted to do and how much time we wanted to spend. Day was the true MVP of this process and helped us navigate changes in our schedule and clarify anything that was needed. He would respond within minutes to any of my requests. It was incredible. I would have probably liked more private tours when I was in Phuket versus the small group tour I took to Phi Phi Island. I did not request this so it was not the fault of anyone at Kim Kim. The work of the Kim Kim staff made it so I could just enjoy my vacation and not worry about what was next. It was seamless and effortless and overall wonderful!

Beautiful hotel but also aging somewhat. The breakfast in the morning was not great and one morning despite it starting at 7, no one was available to do eggs or coffee for about 25 minutes and it took them 45 minutes to make pancakes. It was frustrating because there were limited other options to eat for breakfast and we had an excursion.

The Tuk Tuk ride was nice but the description of this event does not match what we did. It sounded like we would be getting small tastes all over the city and we went to one noodle restaurant and had one street vendor food and that's it. I asked about going to a roof top bar but was told that wasn't apart of it. I did get to go to a hidden bar which was cool but it was not included.

We were picked up very early and then did not get on the speedboat until over 2 hours after we arrived and it was not clear that we would be sitting around. I would have liked to just stay at my resort and enjoy the amenities there. They then go into a sales pitch of all these things you can do but have to spend extra money on which was frustrating but they scare you into thinking that you have to but water shoes and hats and they only accept cash so that was also frustrating. It was a pretty rushed experience and crowded with all the other participants. I would have liked to do this privately.

I think I was spoiled by the private activities and this was a larger group. It made it so we ended up in a not great spot in the boat. No one was good about sharing the space. I would have liked to be more private or been allowed shift around to see things on the boat. We got soaked sitting in the back. Food was a bit cold on the floating restaurant but tasty!

This was a highlight of our trip. Really a wonderful small group experience. I did not know that there was an option to raft down the river which I would have liked the choice of doing. I did enjoy the medicine ball making activity though.

We could not have asked for a better person to work with to plan our honeymoon than Bella.
​Before the trip even started, she was incredibly patient as we described countless iterations of what we wanted to do, and she managed to accommodate all of our out-of-the-box requests for activities and hotels. She also provided invaluable insight into the scheduling of our proposed itineraries, ensuring we didn't plan ourselves into tight timelines that would leave little to no time for rest and relaxation.
​The outstanding level of service only continued once our trip began. When we arrived at our first hotel in Bangkok, there was a gift bag from Bella welcoming us to Thailand, which we found to be unbelievably thoughtful. Whenever we had questions about the itinerary or local customs, she would always reply via WhatsApp within minutes.
The tours and activities themselves were also top-notch. We ended our trip feeling that we came away with far more knowledge and context to all of the sights that we saw than we ever could have if we had planned things ourselves. Our tour guide in Bangkok, Leo, was especially knowledgeable and made us feel like we were truly receiving an immersive look into the Thai culture.
​We did experience a hiccup with one of our flights to Phuket, which was pushed back several hours without us or Kimkim being notified. Even though Bella had zero control over that, she still went out of her way to arrange accommodations for us during the newfound downtime and even helped reschedule the tour we ended up missing because of the delay. All of this required zero effort on our part. Truly great service.
​Throughout the entire trip, Bella was remarkably communicative. Between her and the Kimkim app, we felt so prepared that we could comfortably move from activity to activity without ever having to give a second thought to tickets or confirmations. All of the information we needed was conveniently located in a single place within the app.
​I would recommend Kimkim to anyone looking to plan a trip, and I would absolutely recommend Bella for anyone planning a trip to Thailand. My wife and I truly feel like we had the honeymoon of a lifetime.

My daughter and I recently used Kim Kim to help us plan our trip to Thailand. We spent two days in Bangkok and three days in Phuket. We also went to the Khao Sok National Park. At every step of the way, there was a representative that was there to let us know what to expect and help us get from one location to the next. We were allowed plenty of time to explore and do things on our own, but also booked several guided trips. We were helped at every step of the way to make the best of our trip. I could not be more satisfied.

Trip was fantastic. Had an amazing time and everything was arranged so well. Very happy and would recommend.

The entire trip in Thailand was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime must! Kien from Kim Kim planned our trip perfectly. We flew into Bangkok spent a few days there, then flew into Chiang Mai and spent a few days there with our last destination in Phuket.

Our guides were phenomenal. "Ae" took special care of us in Bangkok and Lisa did the same in Phuket.

We stayed at the most amazing hotel in Phuket where we upgraded to a super luxury villa which made our trip more memorable! The Slate is the most beautiful hotel, ever!

Some of our most memorable activities include the elephant sanctuary and cooking dinner with the locals in Chiang Mai, eating out in Bangkok and checking out the floating and railroad market, getting tailored suits made and daily massages and of course Phi Phi Island in Phuket ! We enjoyed being picked up by our guide at each airport too!
