The views are to die for but beware there are many stairs!! Can’t have cliff side views without putting some work in. Food was good at the restaurant but you can get better in town

The bedrooms are to DIE for, from the double rainhead shower to the high tech blinds and the personal hot tub. We didn’t want to leave!! Quiet area and lots of privacy

Our tour guides, jiannis and Nolan, were extremely friendly and fun to be around. They had as much fun working as we did being on the tour!

We did not know that we had a private tour until the day of, which made our day! Having your own private driver and tour guide makes you feel somehow famous

We absolutely loved our stay at The Davenport Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the front were amazing, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. The dining area is huge and really impressive and everything felt well organized and relaxed. A lovely touch was the little snacks available, like gummy candies and chocolates, small details, but they made it feel extra welcoming. The location is also perfect, right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of Dublin. We were so close to everything, which made it really easy to explore the city on foot. Overall, this was one of our favourite hotels from the trip, comfortable, well located and full of thoughtful touches. We’d happily stay again.

A small, older boutique-style hotel that feels very classic and elegant, almost like the kind of place the Queen herself might stay. It has a lot of charm and character and overall gives a very classy impression. One thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk from the main downtown area where all the hustle and bustle is, so it’s slightly removed from the centre if that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, our daughter’s room had a strong smoke smell when we arrived. We didn’t end up mentioning it at the time since we got in late and just settled in, but it did take away a bit from the experience. What really stood out, though, was the front desk lady, Maura. She was genuinely the sweetest, kindest person and went out of her way to be helpful, she really made a difference to our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Galmont Hotel & Spa especially using the pool, hot tub & sauna after a long day. The location was honestly perfect, we could walk everywhere we wanted in Galway, which made everything so easy and stress-free. It was about a 3–5 minute walk to Eyre Square and very close to buses. The hotel felt comfortable and welcoming right away. Our room was clean, quiet and a nice place to come back to after a busy day out. What really stood out for us was the food and how large the dining area and food area was. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was very classy without feeling stuffy, just really well done, beautifully presented and enjoyable.

Enjoyable stay at a Glasgow hotel. The location was convenient for getting around the city and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Just a few blocks, we ended up catching the hop on hop off, which we had a lot of fun with. We also ate dinner and had breakfast at the hotel, and both were very, very classy, beautifully presented, great quality and really added to the overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay at The Marmalade Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtfully designed and high quality, with stylish interiors, comfortable rooms and little touches that made it feel special rather than just a standard hotel. The breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day, with the overall service was warm, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care has gone into the details here. The only thing to be aware of is the location is a bit of a walk uphill from the main town area, but honestly, it ends up being a good little workout and doesn’t take away from the experience at all.

Wilde Apartments in Edinburgh was one of my favourite stays of the entire trip. It’s a trendy, modern aparthotel just a block away from everything and right across from the castle, the location couldn’t be better. You’re steps from all the main sights, which made exploring so easy. The rooms are super modern and really well designed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, coffee, toaster and kitchen basics that make it feel easy when you’re traveling. The buffet breakfast included was also really good, one of the best we had on the trip. It has that cool, simple, stylish feel to it without trying too hard. I would 100% stay there again.

Enjoyed the comfort of the hotel and central location where we Could walk into town. The breakfasts and drinks were amazing, the dinner was ok, not great. Perhaps it was what we ordered…. Nice bar and amazing drinks!

In short, this hotel had us wanting to go home. We had requested a LUXURY trip, and as part of this, we expected an excellent and comfortable hotel in Rome. We wanted to be well taken care of, and were paying for this experience. Our agent picked Eitch Borromini. When looking at the photos, we were pleasantly surprised. However, the reality did not match what we saw online. The one and possibly the only thing we appreciated was the location. The hotel was in Piazza Navona, and walkable to many of Rome’s fantastic attractions. We did not get to have the breakfast, but the boxed breakfast provided to us could have been a lot better. We were given crackers, jam, Nutella, and a packaged croissant. I’ve had the privilege of being at several high end hotels and asking for boxed breakfasts in various countries (including our phenomenal accommodation in Tuscany), and they were all far more nutritious, fresh, and enjoyable. However, I cannot speak to what breakfast at the hotel would have been like. Our biggest gripe was the room. The room was not very clean, it appeared dated, and unkempt. There was a lot of dirt and dust on the floor, and there was a bug problem. We killed some in the shower room, and there were flies around the room as well. The room with the toilet smelled badly as well. We were supposed to be in a luxury suite, and there was really nothing luxury regarding it. We didn’t even have any proper windows to look out of, and the iron didn’t work. Perhaps we were supremely unlucky with the room. While I understand Eitch Borromini is an old palace and has character and charm, the issues we encountered were not secondary to it being an old palace. Also, an odd thing, but in the room with the shower (the toilet/sink and shower were in different rooms), there was a locked glass door and a dark staircase that could be seen. It was quite disconcerting and as a trio of three women, we didn’t feel very comfortable. I know I would not want to stay in that room alone. Finally, the hospitality wasn’t great either. We requested some water in the evening, as they provide a complementary bottle, which we finished after a long day walking around Rome, and were told to drink the ones in the mini fridge…which they would then charge us for. We had to call twice and explain that we would not be paying for the mini fridge water, and finally about 30 minutes later, someone came with the provided complementary water. When we asked for help with luggage in the morning of our departure, they told us to bring it to the elevator first (which wasn’t that close to our room). I’ve had less “luxurious” hotels send people to help with luggage’s, or deliver a luggage cart. We were shocked that there would be no help. For a hotel that claims it’s a 5-star luxury hotel, there was nothing 5-star or luxury about it, and we should not have paid the price for staying here (assuming they were luxury prices as we did not see the breakdown when we paid kimkim). I will be coming back to Rome, and I will not be picking this hotel again.

Great experience, we just wish we had an English speaking group. Our tour guide spent a lot of her time speaking to the Italian group before us, and we felt we were losing a lot of information when she translated.

It was nice to have two nights in a regular hotel as a contrast to the lovely riads other nights. This was a lovely property.

An oasis of quiet in a bustling medina.

The location was first rate. It helped to be close to the gate and also close to access the medina which was much easier to manage than some of the larger city's medinas.

We wished we could have spent more time here. Our dinner was the best of our entire vacation. It was indeed a wonderful experience.

We stayed here on our final night before departing. The hotel was beautiful, and the room was spacious and very accommodating. I especially loved the large bathtub, which was a wonderful treat after a two‑week trip. We spent our last day relaxing by the pool after touring the incredible mosque, which was a perfect way to unwind. While the pool service could have been a bit quicker and our dining experience at the outdoor restaurant was average, the stay overall was comfortable and a nice way to end our journey.

I wish I could remember the name of the manager who was so kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, he truly made breakfasts and dinners feel special. Every member of the staff was fantastic, and the meals were absolutely amazing. I especially loved taking a few peaceful walks behind the hotel along the river. Seeing the locals tending to their gardens and graciously welcoming me as I strolled through was a truly memorable and authentic experience.

The staff here were so friendly! Everyone that we encountered truly wanted to make our experience special and memorable. So many smiles!! Our tent/room was comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend staying 2 nights. The guided day trip in the area to visit with Nomads and look for fossils was a highlight of the trip.

Highlight of my trip!

Ilyace was hands down one of the highlights of my entire trip! Having a private driver for nearly two weeks was such a treat. From beginning to end, he was incredibly helpful, informative, fun, and genuinely engaging. His 12 years of experience really showed and made me feel completely at ease on the road. We traveled more than 1,650 miles together! I would highly recommend specifically requesting Ilyace as your driver for your Morocco adventure. Saying goodbye at the end was truly hard, as it felt like I had made a new friend.

A comfortable place to stay, walkable to the core of PDL. Kind and helpful staff. Great wifi. Great breakfast. The spa, and its associated amenities, were superb.

A purely touristic hotel. While nicely located within the city, it lacks any kind of local vibe. Staff were generally uninterested and disengaged. Wifi was stable and breakfast was okay - the same offerings each day. If you like consistency and predictability, this is a fine hotel. If you prefer a more tailored, boutique experience, look elsewhere.

A purely tourist hotel. It is conveniently located within the city; within walking distance of a lot of sights and activities. However, it lacks any local charm or character. Wifi is mediocre. Breakfast was good though. Staff were attentive and kind. Construction works next to the hotel were disruptive, with noise and vibration that began early in the day and continued to the evening.

A beautiful reconstruction of an old sanitarium. Nicely situated within the park. Wifi strength was good. Breakfast was very good, although in the bar, food and service were both lacking. Staff were generally kind and helpful. It would be nice if tours were offered of the property given its history; to learn more about its use, layout, and reconstruction.

If you get the right room, the views can be amazing! Otherwise, it is a highly touristic hotel that lacks personalized service, and any cultural charm (views excepted). Wifi strength is marginal. Breakfast is a standard buffet. You are not centrally located within the Algarve,

A unique and quirky hotel that is very well located, with a tremendous staff that is quick and eager to please, and support its guests. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the hotel itself is historic, with a great vibe.

Mr Bruno is an excellent guide (seems to be a recurring theme here!). We enjoyed our time with him as he walked us through the main sights of PDL, which is not an incredibly vast city. In that way, we held a more leisurely pace, taking our time at each stop to really engage, learn about it, and enjoy some local bites and drinks. Bruno was friendly, fun, and funny! Listening to him was a real delight, and he was happy to entertain the questions we asked.

It is a good restaurant, although I would suggest a lunchtime visit as opposed to a dinner one as they do not accept reservations. The food, service, drink, are all on point. The atmosphere is a little bland, though.

This was a great way for us to visit places we wouldn't have been able to access short of keeping the rental car. Still, to have someone else drive was kind of nice. Ricardo was once again phenomenal as he greeted us on time, and brought us to the places on our itinerary, sharing some of his knowledge about each location, and a few of the sights in between. We were all able to have lunch together, which was wonderful, as it gave us an opportunity to get to know each other a little better. The sights we visited were as we had requested, and I appreciate that Ricardo gave us time to explore at our leisure, while also offering suggestions on how we could make the use of our time. It was a great day!

This was an incredible experience to be offered. Thank you! Ricardo picked us up as scheduled in front of our hotel. He was delightful! As we drove around, we made a few stops, per the general itinerary. Here, I would have liked some more input to determine which stops would be made. Nevertheless, Ricardo was responsive to a few of our requests, which was greatly appreciated! We spent a lot of time in one location in particular, and Ricardo communicated to our hosts that we would be a little late. Once we arrived we were greeted warmly, and with Ricardo and their son ably translating for all of us, it was a wonderful evening. The meal prepared was delicious, and a vast spread of local dishes. The wine, and fire water, flowed easily, and in spite of the language differences, we were able to share our experiences in Portugal to that point, while also learning about our hosts, their backgrounds and experiences. In the end we ran out of time. It was such an enriching, joyful, dinner - one of the most impactful of our trip, and a lifelong memory! Thank you!!!

Bernardo is an excellent guide! He met us at our hotel on time, and introduced us to the main highlights of Porto on a route that was easily managed, and complete, considering the relative vastness of the city. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and fun to be with and listen to. He also made recommendations regarding other sights to see, places to eat, and addressed any questions we had along the way.

Tasty regional food that's worth the effort to get to! The cooking method embodies the region, and imparts a particular note that's very good. The restaurant bottles their own wines, which accompany the meal especially well. Good service, adds to the overall enjoyment!

To begin, I didn't know this was booked as a private activity. Maybe it wasn't and we got lucky that it was just the two of us and our guides. But if it was booked as such - thank you! Our guides, Daniel and Wolf were phenomenal! They took great care to assure our comfort and safety. For Lilian, this was especially important as this was her first canyoning experience. The course itself was great! Beautifully scenic, and challenging enough without being (too) overwhelming. Again, to Daniel and Wolf, your efforts in making the day safe, comfortable and fun, were much appreciated. The experience itself was great! We enjoyed witnessing the beauty of Madeira from an entirely unique perspective.

This was easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. Highly elevated, exceptional dining in a beautifully situated and sophisticated dining space.

This experience was incorrectly booked as just the boat trip, and not the boat and kayak trip combined. This was not a big deal and is not the reason behind my rating. I greatly appreciate your response to that situation. Rather, the boat is, just a boat. The ride upriver is scenic and that's really it. You don't go all that far. I'm glad we did not go upriver with the boat and then kayak downriver back to town. It's the same view, and the river channel is busy with a lot of boat traffic. It would not have been very relaxing. Doing the two separately allowed us to kayak down the other arm of the river which was, frankly, dirty and smelly. Not super great. I would skip this activity overall, and would rather do a private boat hire with a wine and cheese tasting that would travel a greater distance along the river. No kayaking. And spend more time exploring the wineries along the valley.

Nuno is an outstanding guide. It is clear he is passionate about the park, taking great pride in its beauty, diversity and fragility. His knowledge of its history, and biodiversity, was impressive. He took great care to assure our safety and comfort while in the park. Our lunch together was wonderful. He packed ham, bread and cheese, with jam and a bottle on wine (he forgot the glasses but that was easily handled). Sharing the day with him was a delight. I am glad we added more time, and that Nuno could accommodate us. Three hours would have been seriously limiting. He was willing to share suggestions for further exploration, and offered us insights on our hotel that the hotel staff themselves couldn't do.

A great way to experience this dramatic coastline. The equipment provided was of good quality, and the staff were each excellent! I was grateful the boat captain enabled us to take a quick swim on our return to the harbor. Our kayaking instructor was fun, kind, helpful to those in the group that needed assistance. His knowledge of the area was great to listen to. I would have enjoyed more time on the water, but for what it was, no big complaints.

This was a phenomenal restaurant! Well designed, curated, nice touches in plating and silverware. Attentive service. Delicious food! Great atmosphere. Terrific all around!

In hindsight, I should have communicated our plans more accurately. Timings for some of the places we wanted to get to weren't clear. For example. the Convent of Our Lady of Arrabida, was closed. The Forte de Albarquel had limited hours. Had we known those in advance we could have made better use of our time. We ended up visiting the Forte de Sao Filipe which was outstanding! From there we drove to Setubal for lunch, taking your suggestion for the choco frito. It seemed like there was a fair amount to see in Setubal, but again, it really wasn't discussed so we didn't know. We walked around a little before we continued our drive to the hotel.

Rui showed up to the hotel on time. Brought us to the rental car directly, and offered to stay until we were set up.

The Fado, was sublime. Beautiful. Haunting, in a way. You could close your eyes and feel the music. It was truly beautiful. The Portuguese guitar is a striking instrument, both in looks and sound. And those creating the music, playing the guitar, singing, were soulful, talented, and a joy to listen to. The dinner itself was okay. Good. Not as exceptional as the music. Restaurant staff were kind, but disorganized and rushed. In the end, they got everyone seated, meals and drinks ordered, and it all worked out. But it seemed like it was their first time doing it. The venue itself is nice, although I would suggest being seated away from the front entrance where the musicians will ultimately perform, as you're inches away, the music and singing would be loud.

This was great! To learn how to make this iconic pastry was a real "treat"! The class was good. Small enough to be personal and move along at a steady clip. Everyone was engaged and having a good time. Our instructor was funny, well prepared to teach the class, and helped all of us succeed in our endeavor. There were steps that were completed in advance, both for ease and timing. Personally, I would have liked to have participated in each step, even if that meant a longer overall class. But still, a really good time.

Sintra is a must-see destination if you're in Lisbon. We were paired with Rita once again, which we both were pleased with. The skip-the-line tickets were enormously helpful! Guides are not allowed within Pena Palace, which was a little disappointing, however, Rita was keen to answer our questions before and after our tour. Throughout the day, she was kind, eager to share her knowledge, and helpful. The only downside, for me, was the lack of visiting the Moorish Castle. I felt like there was time within the day to do so, being respectful of our timed entries elsewhere. We made a stop for lunch, which could have been shortened or skipped outright to make time for the castle. Rita didn't feel it was a worthwhile destination, but I disagreed with her assessment. Still, she and our driver Rui fulfilled our request to visit Cabo da Roca, which was also very appreciated as it lengthened the day.

Rita was an excellent guide. Funny. Engaging. Knowledgable. She put together a loop that traversed each neighborhood, sharing historical and cultural highlights along the way. I asked specifically if she knew of any Vhils works, and she was able to incorporate one as we walked, which was greatly appreciated. She introduced us to many foods and shops, making stops so we could sample them as we went. It was a wonderful introduction to Lisbon!

The driver dropped us off about 1/2 a block away from the station and we had to lug our luggage and walk the rest of the way which was tedious for my parents.

Always awesome to see Stonehenge. Plan to return during the solstice when one is allowed to be up close and personal and partake celebrating the solstices with the Druids.

Chris was great!! He was very informative. Initially we had a hard time following his accent but then we got the hang of it and he used the Mike on the second day so that my parents could hear him better in the back.

Once again, Sebastian and Vijay made a great team!!!

Stately Venetian mansion tastefully turned into a 15 room hotel. Interesting details such as indoor pool, glass floor in entry to showcase remains found and excavated below, incredibly high ceilings in gigantic bedroom - might be hot in the heat of summer (too many active pigeons outside to leave windows open for air)

Prime location with beautiful views, hospitable staff and great service; preordered breakfast delivered to our doorstep each morning. As with much of Oía, steps are everywhere and very steep. The dark cavern of the bath which featured black lava rock, black commode, and minimal lighting was less than desirable BUT it gave insight into layout of old cave houses that are sprinkled about the island. We were surprised we had to climb 3 steps to get onto the foot of the bed which was elevated quite high off the floor (to accommodate a view to the caldera if one chose to sleep with open window?). It was a once in a lifetime stay here but we wouldn’t choose to stay here again…not a negative, just not a repeat for us.

Fun time cooking alongside a native woman in the comfort of organized outdoor space to learn about Cretan foods and then sitting down to enjoy lunching on our efforts alongside additional food prepared by the hostess. She and her husband were warm and welcoming, we were happy to have done this as a private tour event.

Made to feel like family or good friends while sailing with accomplished 23 year old captain and his first mate mother. Took the hike to top of Gramvousa Island and walked the edge of Balos Beach…no doubt a fabulous summer activity too but we had the spring views of wild flowers and greenery

Long drive for a short tour of Corinth’s ruins although the guide was a gem and very knowledgeable. Napflio featured lots of shops on pretty streets, many still closed early in the season but we don’t have an interest in shopping so seemed a waste of time for us. Lunch at a seaside restaurant was okay (delivered there by driver who seemed friendly with management/staff). One and only snafu of the entire trip on details in Napflio that the driver said he was unaware of, we added a tour of the fortification atop the city to use up some slack time there, KimKim quickly refunded our unexpected out of pocket expense to tour the fortification (somewhat hazardous walking - not recommended)

This is definitely a 5 Star Hotel! We loved everything from the character of the hotel, to the room we stayed in, all the staff we came into contact with, the coffee shop attached to the hotel. We will absolutely be coming back to this hotel.

The Views Of this Hotel are absolutely stunning! Who would not Love waking up to this beautiful hotel . This is a must stay hotel in Douro Valley.

Angela and the staff was absolutely amazing. We met some amazing people from all different places as we were cooking together. All the dishes that we cooked were delicious, and we were able to get the recipes to take home. This is a must do when in Lisbon Portugal.

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The front desk service and the breakfast quality and experience were top notch. The exterior and neighborhood are a bit cold and unwelcoming at first, but after a couple of days we realized that it is very well located with ez access to the train lines which is important in Berlin. The rooms were tight, and the lobby area was not comfortable. They do have what could be a very nice open air courtyard, but we found it a bit dirty and unattended by hotel staff-a potentially nice space that seems to be utilized as a place to smoke.

Excellent service, very clean and well appointed with an excellent breakfast in a nice dining room. The rooms were on the small side, especially the bathrooms. The location across from the main train station-which is undergrowing significant construction- was very convenient, but is in a bit of a gritty area (were were a bit surprised in general of the level of graffitti and litter in both Munich and Berlin.

high energy tour guide Maggie did a great job, and mixed in some of her personal political feelings. We had a large group of 20+ and so the tour path followed a standard route and felt a bit touristy, but were did feel like we got great interaction with the tour guide between stops.

This was cancelled at last minute. We do not know what we missed. But had a great experience in Leipzig on our own. Kimkim came up with alternatives and gave us a great refund.

The drive through the countryside and side visits to a local villages were the best part. Boris seemed to specifically travel on secondary roads for a good portion of the trip. The trip to the castle itself was very good, but definitely touristy. I would still recommend it, but the side trips were essential, otherwise the 9 hour day is not worth it just to visit Neuschwanstein.

Our guide Boris was excellent. We had plenty of time the afternoon prior to explore the City and did, but Boris was able to make sure we saw some nooks and crannies that we missed, and add the historical and cultural context

Quiet and personal, this is the perfect setting for contemplative enjoyment of Ait Ben-Haddou.

Beautiful site on top of a hill overlooking the blue city of Chef. . Wish we had stayed longer to use all the amenities and take in the beauty of the area. * one should know there are a mandatory 159 steps to the reception area of the hotel. We have heard a rumour that the staff will carry chairs of less able walkers.

Our room was authentic yet unique. The riad and pool added such a gorgeous flavor. Service was above any expectations and we were so pleased.
