This was so much fun. We enjoyed a catamaran with just 13 guests and 6 crew members. The vista was beautiful, the food and drinks were excellent (I even tried the sardines). And the staff was extremely accommodating and fun.

Highly Recommended Great Guide Fascinating information Well organized SMALL GROUP - this was a huge benefit. We saw large groups parading down the streets behind a guide with an high-flying flag. No thank you. In small group tours, one gets to meet and enjoy others in the group. In small groups you can hear the guide and ask questions as they arise. It was all very enjoyable.

The staff was kind and helpful in helping me plan routes to walking excursions that I did on my own. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and served amazing food.

It was wonderful to go back in history to the places where Portugal started. We explored, beautiful cathedrals, castles, and other import important historical sites.

Raquel, was a perfect tour guide for me and I had her all to myself. She took me to so many hidden secrets that I never would’ve found on my own. She knew that I loved history and culture, so she took me to places he knew that would be of interest to me.

This was a fabulous tour with a great guide who loved this area, because he enjoyed surfing here. He knew a lot of people and even introduced me to a man in his 80s who used to run the lighthouse at the most southwestern point in Europe.

It was wonderful to visit all of these small towns that were so important to the fishing industry and tourism industry in the Algarve.

The title of this adventure is a little misleading, because there was no barbecue, but it was still a phenomenal journey. I met some wonderful people on the catamaran ride to the Bengali caves.

Being a jeep owner myself, I loved this small group trip into the heart of the Algarve. Upward driver stopped at at least a dozen times to pick leads from plants along the way and help us learn how to identify them.

Once again, I had a wonderful female tour guide to myself. We took a deep ride through the acres of olive trees, vineyards and finally ended in the beautiful court forest where we even saw some albino deer.

I had my personal guide to myself all day. She knew that I had taught ancient civilizations, so she was ready to answer my questions and even learned a few things from me, I think! She had lived in Evora, her whole life, so she knew the people and the places we visited extremely well.

Having taught about knights and castles, this tour was like a living textbook. I couldn’t believe I was seeing things that I had taught about for so many years.

Going to Sintra was like walking into a fairy tale, and our guide was so knowledgeable about the area, because he was born and raised here. I met three wonderful young ladies from Belgium and one from Australia that assisted me on the steep hills and stairways. We had a lot of fun together!

This was my first tour and an awesome way to be able to meet a few people and get appetizer-sized tastes of great Portugal foods and wines. It helped me make decisions about what to order for the rest of the trip.

Clean and modern. The newly constructed room was a little unusual. We could not see well in the bathroom mirror since we couldn’t get close to it. Sofa across from TV was uncomfortable. The staff was very nice. We liked being close to shopping

Nestled in the Cuzco downtown - this hotel was had a beautiful lush courtyard, lovely breakfast, and we loved the hot water bottles tucked I your beds and the nighttime tea! The staff was excellent and very accommodating.

This is a fascinating site. We strongly recommend seeing it and buying the pink salt!

Words cannot do justice to seeing the sunrise over Machu Picchu!!

What a stunning property and the food was fantastic!

The temples were fantastic. We recommend the balloon excursion but pass on the the Karnak night light show. The light show was disappointing and not worth the cost.

This was a good fit. Close to a lot realizing Rome is a difficult city to navigate. The transportation people made that easy despite oppressive traffic everywhere.

I asked for clean, comfortable, well located hotels in safe locations. This place was over the top. Luxury and provenance evident everywhere despite its age (108 years). Exquisite rooms and location, right on the water. Rooftop restaurant and bar with breathtaking views. Breakfast buffet was 75 feet long and delicious served in an elegant ballroom.

The building was formerly an apartment hotel where Vincenzo Perugia (the Louvre employee who stole the Mona Lisa in 1911) hid the painting under his bed until 1917. The Mona Lisa was a repeated presence throughout the hotel. Great job converting this structure to a comfy modern hotel. Great location in the antique section of Florence, a stone's throw from the Duomo.

full day, whirlwind tour but a must if you only have the one day like we had. Crowds were unexpected for this time of year (April). Lines everywhere but this is Rome so you have to deal with it or stay home.

Making your own pizza and tiramisu with the guidance of a trained chef. Then, to dine on the results of your labors. What's not to love. Appetizers, wine, pizza and tiramisu.

This is an "off the beaten path" site which is not on any standard list but is fascinating none the less. The Boromini perspective is amazing and a shock to the viewer. You have to see it to appreciate it

A much smaller version of Pompei but much more easy to negotiate and not as overwhelming. Veronica was a great guide.

Start to finish, this was great. It was good to be out in the country wandering between vineyards and olive groves. Our guide was informative and amusing with a great sense of humor. Roberto and his dog, Dora were the stars. 3-4 lbs of black truffles in and hour and a half. Kids loved it. The Luncheon at La Cantina dei Tartufi was the best food we had on the trip and that's saying a lot as we had some fabulous meals. The owner/host, Paolo and his wife, were perfect hosts.

Our guide, Giada, was great, although while tooling down the Grand Canal with motor craft around, hearing her was a challenge.

Great to see a very old family business thriving. Beautiful factory and showrooms. Excellent explanations. Fascinating demonstration. Burano was an unexpected gem. Wish we had more time to explore the beautiful shops.

Lots of fun. Helpful instruction. Many choices and the freedom to be creative. The introduction into the history of the Venetian mask was new to all of us and very interesting.

This hotel is outside of town, which means you need to walk a ways or get an uber, but easy access. Because it is outside of town, amazing views and it is pretty quiet. Staff is kind, food it good.

Had a lovely view of the ocean. Our AC didn't work, they did provide fans, but not fix the ac. It is close to a few sights to see. Easy access for uber to get just about anywhere. Staff was nice, room was clean. It is an older hotel.

Kind, clean. Didn't have AC when we were there, supposedly because of the electric use through the town. Overall, clean, and very nice. It is a short walk to downtown, which also meant it was quiet at night, but also that you have to walk into town.

This pretty cool. On a boat to get up close to the glacier on the lake. It was cold. So glad we had the appropriate gear to keeps hands and feel warm. Boat was full, so you have to be patient to get the pictures from the good spots.

This was a private tour for us. Our Guide was so knowledgeable. I wish that I had done more research on this park as there is so much more to see. We were able to have some small hikes with our guide, which was lovely as they were off the beaten path and not as many tourist around. The views were amazing. We were there in the fall season, so it was getting cold, but so lovely. We so lots of wildlife, and had the freedom to stop and look as desired.

Going to the top of the volcano and learning about this history of the island. It has incredible views of the island.,

The tour was interesting and learned a lot about the original islanders and how the island and the statues came to be. I felt the quarry was the most interesting about how the statues were created and moved. It is interesting to see this part of history.

Vina de Mar is lovely. Valparaiso is so interesting. Can spend more time in the town, if you wanted to. Our guides were amazing. And even helped with purchasing souvenirs , so helpful.

This was amazing. The Cobre was amazing. The Mano del Desierto was cool. We also had an astrologic viewing at this location - and that was AMAZING. Pictures can even capture the sight of the milky way over the desert in the dark. Our guides were amazing, so generous and kind. One of our favorite parts of our trip.

This was pretty cool. The landscape is so diverse. The weather was cold, hot, and windy. so come prepared with layers, hat, sunscreen.

The Lagunas were interesting but we couldn't get really close to the flamingos. Seeing the flats was interesting. The most amazing part for me was the capricorn longitudinal line and the inca trail, and beautiful landscape of the mountains.

We had a great experience learning about the southern hemisphere sky and seeing the constellations and even planets.

Our guide was kind and knowledgable.

The staff here really made us feel special. We felt such warmth and hospitality from the moment we arrived. The view from the rooftop is amazing too!

Our guide, Hassania was so well informed and personable. Her warmth and good humor even outshined her obvious depth of knowledge and skill of communication. We wanted to take her with us!

I’m not certain that I would stay here again and that it is truly a three star hotel. The lobby area and the dining area were exceptional. The pool was beautiful. The rooms however, are very very poor in their furnishings. One of our rooms, even smelt very musty. But the location was wonderful. Again, the exterior of the hotel was really pretty and the staff was so kind and nice in the restaurant area. One night we even ate at the hotel and the food was so delicious. For us it was just the rooms that were terribly lacking in comfort and decor.

This is a definite five star hotel not a four star. It is beautiful inside and the staff is so very helpful. The location is perfect as well. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Very luxurious very beautiful. And we enjoyed our aperitifs before we headed out for dinner. The person in charge of the bar area was so kind and gave us beautiful history of the resort in the area. A definite asset to the hotel.

This is a very small place, but the staff is so kind and helpful. It is very peaceful, although a bit out of the way from the center of Perugia. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, clean place to say I would recommend this holiday house for sure.

Truly, one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The location was terrific and the hotel itself simply beautiful. We will definitely stay here again when in Rome.

If I could get this experience more than five stars I would. It was just the best day that we’ve ever had in a long time. The boat crew showed us so much and also made us laugh. It was just a really happy fun easy day. The stops were great in Amalfi, Positano, and another area which name escapes me that is where we stopped for a very authentic delicious lunch. If you’re looking for a wonderful day on the Mediterranean please look no further than this boat trip. I cannot recommend it enough!!

Another wonderful tour with Liv tours! Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, showed us the off, beaten places. We learned so much through her about the city of Florence. Would definitely recommend!

This was an amazing tour by a Liv tour guide. We were able to learn a lot about Rome and experience the Trevi fountain away from the crowds. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and kind. I would definitely do this private tour again.

Great location, beautiful hotel right on the water.

Super-cool spot in the medina, a short walk to the water. The only potential downside is that there is no A/C, so you needed the windows open for cool, fresh air, but the bustle of activity in the square continued throughout the night. Just bring a fan or use a "noise" app on your phone to drown it out easily.

Such a pretty Kasbah, in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing, the rooms were lovely.

Really liked this place, but it was not our favorite on this trip. The rooms were beautiful, but the restaurant was mid. Also, there were dogs that were barking all night, which interrupted our sleep. Not sure if they were a part of this camp or another, but it was annoying, all the same.

This place was probably my favorite place to stay on Morocco. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was beyond wonderful. The breakfast spread was nothing short of amazing.

Beautiful hotel, only stayed one night, but it definitely set the tone for and amazing trip.

Lunch at the wharf was very casual. We thought it was going to be in a restaurant, but it turns out that you pick a spot, right nerar the water, select your seafood and have it cooked for you while you eat at picnic tables. It was a great experience, just not what we were expecting. Essaouira is more than fresh seafood. There are amazing sunsets from the beach, the medina is cute and manageable (but get most of your shopping done in Fez and Marrakech). Our favorite part was a bit serendipitous. We went for a late morning walk to the wharf, and just kept following it down to the end, and were able to watch the hustle and bustle of the fishing boats coming in and unloading their bounty. The controlled chaos was delightful to watch.

Hicham, our tour guide was, again, incredibly knowledgeable. The city is amazing and it's history is too. His tour gave us a nice lay of the land, which was helpful for the following day, which was a free day, for us to wander around town at our own pace. One night we walked to the new part of Marrakech and had a great time. We had some fantastic dinners in this city.

This was another long day of driving. Fortunately, there were some stops to help break it up. Ait Ben Haddou was interesting, and had some beautiful views, but was kind of unremarkable. The rose cooperative was neat, but I imagined we'd see more fields of roses, considering we were there in peak season. We also made a quick stop at Atlas studios, but did not go in for the tour, it most mostly a chance to stretch our legs. Driving through the high Atlas mountains and seeing the geography change so completely again was great.

I wasn't sure how to feel about this day, but I am so glad we had this opportunity. We started the day meeting up with another tour group from the same company and headed out to a local market to pick veggies for our couscous meal with the family. After that, we had a short tour of the area. Then we went to the family's house. There we were treated to a variety of local delights and a delicious meal. We also learned a bit more about the local culture. The family was wonderful- so kind and welcoming.

Another great day driving, with many stops/ sight to see. The fossils collective in Erfoud had some amazing pieces of fossil art. We stopped at a roadside shop where we tried on native Amazigh clothing and took pictures in them. The family that owned the store was so warm and welcoming. They even let my husband lead a little jam session after he saw an electric guitar sitting in the store. The whole family got involved! Next was the tour of the old village if Tighir (excuse any misspelling). Our guide there was again, fantastic. After that, a stop at the women's rug collective, then an absolutely incredible (and huge) lunch. Next was the Gorge, which was a cool little trek. It was great to see all of the families picnicking alongside it.

LONG travel day (about 10 hours from start to finish. Had lots of stops, so it kept things interesting.

It was great to learn about the history of Fez and to see the old Medina, souks. The sight s and sounds were everything I had hoped for. Our riad was the most incredible place and the service was outstanding. Dinner and a show at the Palais de Medina was a treat.

Meknes is currently closed, due to renovations, but Volubulis was fantastic.

We did not make it to the waterfall, unfortunately, due to the trail being flooded from snow-melt. It was a bummer, but we were able to hike to the God's Bridge, which was a beautiful hike.

Once we got settled in, we headed to the Spanish Mosque to see the sunset. This provided a great view of the city.

It was great to see the changes in geography from one place to another. For all of the long drives, Rachid stopped every 1.5-2 hours for a pit-stop. The places he selected throughout the trip were clean and well-maintained.

Hassania, our guide was fantastic. The tour was informative and interesting. We covered a lot of ground in a short time, but it didn't feel rushed. The mausoleum was breath-taking.

Quick and easy. Rachid was ready and waiting for us when we got through customs. Communication was easy, as we texted via WhatsApp, so we kept him apprised of our progress once we landed.

This was very interesting and beautiful. Our guide Luis was very flexible and helpful! We changed one of the sites we wanted to see and no problem!

We didn’t get to experience everything because of the rain but what we did see was so beautiful! The guide is very helpful!

This was also a definite highlight of our trip! João and Sophie were incredible hosts! The food was incredible and it was just fun sharing stories and visiting! The markets were very interesting too!

The lobby is a bit small and a bit warm and it was confusing at first to check in at the cafe. Overall the rooms were great size, kitchen coffee station well stocked, enjoyed having a washer and drier. The park view is superb

This was such an adorable boutique hotel! The staff was wonderful, answering all of our questions and helping with directions. Our room overlooked the square and we had a fabulous view. Loved that breakfast was included and it offered everything you could think of. When we walked in the waitress asked for our choice of coffees and they made them from scratch every morning. In the evening that restaurant offered wonderful options. We loved the seafood platter and sausage plate!

Loved having a comfy car tour instead of a standard bus tour! Our guide was amazing! He shared a lot about each local and even suggested two different options when the second stop on our schedule had a really long wait due to the number of people and gave us those options. Loved the seaside visit and one palace. It was just enough of each to make it enjoyable. The guide at Peña Palace was exceptional. He took us to the most amazing restaurant for lunch in a place we would never have found ourselves! The food he recommended as local fare was great and something we hadn’t experienced before.

This far exceeded our expectations! The guide and her trainee were very knowledgeable and we loved every minute. We recommended it to our friends that would be in Portugal in a few days and they were excited to try it too!

This tour was not what the description said it would be. We were supposed to meet and talk with locals as we walked through town. We had one guide the entire time who was extremely knowledgeable and a great guide, but toward the end he was checking his phone quite often. All in all it was excellent, but not what I thought it would be.
