Excellent front desk service, very clean and comfortable room, convenient walking distance to everything in downtown Reykjavík. The included breakfast had something for everyone and was a much appreciated start to my days.

This was everything I’d hoped for. Our guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to go and how to find the lights. Via his instructions, I was able to identify the lights on my own. Love every minute.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Pick up was close to my hotel and timely. The guide was knowledgeable and courteous. All the sights were amazing to visit and the stop for locally made ice cream was a treat. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to see everything green!

Very informative, nice easy pace, guide was very knowledgeable. If I had to do it over again, I would skip this and just do the Walking Food tour since it covered a lot of the same history but with the added bonus of great food!

Enable to just walk around and check out the area

Perfectly timed to go straight to the Blue Lagoon from the airport. Luggage storage was easy to access and use. Transportation to and from the Lagoon was easy to use and staff very friendly. The Lagoon is so large that it’s easy to find a quiet place to sit and take it all in. I ate lunch at the Lava restaurant: one of the best mushroom soups I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend.

Reykjavík Marina - Berjaya Iceland Hotels was very well placed and offered easy walking access to everything we wanted in Reykjavík. We did have a bit of trouble finding it initially, but once there, everything was great.

Our stay at Hótel Grímsborgir by Keahotels was fine, although we didn't experience much of the amenities due to the cold and stormy weather. No issues with the hotel itself.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Icelandic Dog Sledding was enjoyable, although not as interactive as past experiences where we had our own team. Despite the lack of snow, they conducted the activity on a frozen lake and provided extra gear for warmth. If you've never been dog sledding before, it would be a great experience.

The Geothermal Bakery Experience was a bit disappointing. It lacked interactivity, and we mostly just watched the process. It was interesting to eat the bread that was cooked, but the experience could have been more engaging.

Lots of insight and friendly guide

Lovely stay and very close to the whale-watching and food tours we had booked. Parking and front door were difficult to find. Not in the nicest part of the city but still easy to walk to most places.

Unbelievable experience! The place is clean and well-maintained. The views are stunning! We had the most amazing views of the Northern Lights while we lay in bed. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. Absolutely recommend!

Such a cute cottage with a gorgeous view of Kirkjufell Mountain.

This hotel has the kindest staff, is close to two key landmarks, and offers really delicious food. The hotel is beautifully decorated and quiet. Definitely recommend.

Ideal location in the heart of the city. Easy to walk everywhere, a parking garage nearby, and parking in front to unload your luggage. Comfortable, warm, excellent room.

Great spot with shared hot tubs for each building. We were there for a great new year's eve meal. Loved it.

Really special experience. Maybe a little tight, but a great spot to see the northern lights, and even if it's cloudy you can hang out in the hot tub or sauna. Easy to get food nearby, truly private lodges, absolutely wonderful.

Easy ride, no need to have any experience. They take care of everything and just give you great views.

Truly excellent. We watched groups struggle on the glacier dealing with the wind and cold- we only had fun. Siggi is one of 4 companies that can drive on the glacier and that made this an incredible expereince. Loved getting into the ice. So pretty.

If you get the amazing opportunity to stay here, do it! We were a party of 8 and everyone in our party loved our stay here! We were able to do the chef’s tasting menu and I will dream about our meals. We LOVED all the amazing people that worked there. Our waiter Liviu made an amazing dinner even more special! The views were spectacular! We saw the Northern Lights! We stayed many places during our trip to Iceland and the Torfhús Retreat was our favorite!

This was so cute staying here was one of the best decisions we made! Sheets were so comfy we barely could get up to start driving, but the service was amazing. I wasn’t expecting the breakfast to be so much and so generous, they’re really on point with this it was a highlight of our trip seeing how much care they put into the little baskets. We made a mental note to leave a review because of how much it stood out to us

Nice hotel convenient to easy travel to the airport. The riding experience was excellent. The horse theme throughout made it lots of fun.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. We saw the Northern Lights from our back patio. The staff was very welcoming and made sure we were aware the Northern Lights could be viewed. When we did not make reservations for dinner, they still managed to get us in. The only draw back was the coffee machine at breakfast was broken and there was no back up. We just drank tea instead. Not a deal breaker.

The rooms were tiny with few amenities. The breakfast was the least impressive of the whole trip. The staff was minimally helpful and there were constantly dirty dishes and glasses all over the lobby. The location was good and it had it's own parking which made it convenient.

This hotel was very nice and the included breakfast was the best that we had on the trip. The hot tub area was very inviting but it was not clear if it was included with the room or not. It seems to me that it should be included but that was not clear.

Lovely long ride at sunrise.

This was lovely once you got to the cave. There was a 15 minute hike across the glacier in the wind which was brutal and we had no idea about until we were already there. It was alot of work for a cave that was too crowded with other people.

This was a lovely hot spring away from the main fray of tourism. We went there immediately from the airport but were a bit tired after the trip and may have enjoyed it more had we done it later.

Excellent museum. Should plan to spend at least a half a day here to learn about the land of Fire and Ice.

This hotel is a great location. The hotel overlooks the Black Sand Beach and the view is wonderful. You can walk to the Black Sand Beach from your room. The rooms are spacious and had a small kitchenette which was nice. There is not restaraunt on site but Vik is just 10 minutes away. I recommend the Black Pizza as it was great. The hotel does offer coffee and pastries for purchase at the main house.

This was a great hotel. We had hot tub at end of our building and it was easy to access. This place is great for Northern Lights due to low light polution. We were eating dinner and staff came around to say that the Northern Lights could be seen outside. They also have a system where they will call you if Aurora is see outside and this was helpful for us to see them. Restaraunt is great and the included breakfast was stellar. Would recommend to anyone.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was great and it is right in a small town. The grow some of their food so there is a greenhouse next to it which is always on. The light made it hard for seeing any nothern lights (would not be an issue during the summer). Staff was great and location is nice. Would recommend this hotel for a visit.

This hotel is located with awesome views of the lake. The hotel was very comfortable and the included breakfast was one of the best we had on the entire trip. We ate both nights at the restaraunt which had great food. Was a little understaff with one person for most of the restaraunt but she did a great job. Hotel has a great bar and just feel very cozy and nice. Our favorite hotel of the entire trip. Desk staff were amazing. We needed assistance with a medical issue and they assisted and even made calls to help us. Would highlyt recommend this hotel it was wonderful.

This hotel was great and located right next to the black church and to hiking trails to the sea. It is located in an isolated spot so hard to go somewhere for dinner easily. The room was a little small but did have a nice window for checking on the Norther Lights. Dinner was good but pricey.

This hotel was great. The location is close to shops and has easy access to food and shopping. The room was very nice and the breakfast they included was wonderful. Would recommend this hotel.

This was great. There were only two of us with the guide which was great. Our guide Siggi was nice, informative, fun, and great all around. We were able to drive on the glacier allowing us to see caves away from the crowds. We were able to see three differnt caves and was a great. Seeing the Glaicer lagoon before and dimond beach after made the trip that much more amazing. Food truck are in the lot to eat before or after. Highly recommend the fish and chips and the langostine roll they were amazing. This was great trip and one of our favorites.

This was great as we got to walk on the glacier. Our guide was great and we were not too big of a group which was nice. It was great to go up and down the glacier. We also were on the glacier for sunset with a clear sky which was amazing.

This was a nice idea but was not my favorite. You have to get set up in a dry suit to stay dry and warm. This was helpful but it was so tight and uncomfortable. If I had know how uncomfortable I would be in the suit I might have decided not to go. Many of the others did okay with the suits so could just be me. Also be prepared to be cold if you are going in the winter because it is cold. Also there are no fish really to see and it is just rocks. The promotional pictures make it look better than it was. Might be a better thing to do in the summer. The guides were great and very helpful.

This was a nice experience. Our guide was nice, funny, and very informative. The water is warm and the view are very nice. We did this in the winter so it was dark and hard to see. Would be nice to have more lighting on the walking paths but remote and keeps to nature so that is nice. Great place especially if the Aurora is on display. Unfortunately no Aurora for us but great trip all together.

Riding the horses was great and the farm owners were so nice and told us so much about the Icelandic horse. These horses are so fun to ride and you really get to get close to them and help get them ready to ride. The bread and hot chocolate after were great. Bread is baked in a geothermal oven and is the recipe of the owner. There were only two of us on the tour so that was really nice. Advantage of going in the winter but it was cold.

From the staff's view to the staff everything was absolutely incredible.

Relatively new Hotel. --- Great Rooms -- Ok breakfast -- Dark behind the Hotel to see the Northen Lights -- Still new so they are figuring out things. -- Need coat hanging place, Drying place and need more hooks in bathroom to put towel etc.

- Good floorpan, closer to beach and dark at night to see the Northen lights. - No breakfast - No Restaurant - Poor customer service.

Excellent ! Guide, Siggi, was top-notch.

All the lagoons were amazing, and very different. Sky Lagoon is luxurious. The evening we went the wind was howling, the rain was coming down in sheets, and somehow, we still enjoyed the experience. It's a gorgeous setting, and after driving over 5 hours that day, it felt so good to emerge in a hot thermal bath, even with our heads getting beaten by rain.

Unfortunately, we found out that ice caves are dependent on the weather. When we went there was only one cave open, and about twenty tour groups waiting to have a turn inside. Once we finally had out turn, our group was allotted ten minutes. BUT, afterwards, we walked the black beach to see the ice flows for an hour and had one of our favorite outings the entire trip.

We hiked a glacier! Enough said.

We felt like Icelanders here. Very few tourists. Perfect way to end a long day of hiking and driving.

The floors are warmed by the volcano, and the hot pool has a swim-in entrance. Great breakfast, too.

Jaw-droppingly beautiful at every turn. Also: seals!

Hugo, our guide, was really funny and fun. He knew a lot and really packed in lots of information.

Mica was our favorite guide of the whole trip. Borgarnes was really cute, too.

The pictures you’ve probably seen of this place are unbelievable, and yet somehow they don’t come close to doing it justice.
