As a Travel Specialist for Greece and Italy, I love helping travelers create personalized trips filled with local culture, memorable experiences, and amazing food. Whether you’re planning a family adventure, a couples’ getaway, a friends’ trip, or a romantic honeymoon, I’ll create your ideal trip using my firsthand experience in Greece and Italy to help you explore these beautiful places in a way that’s personalized to your interests and travel style.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"🇬🇷 Greece 🇬🇷

I first fell in love with Greece after marrying into a Greek family, and it became one of my favorite places in the world. With family spread across the country, I’ve been able to experience so many sides of Greece: from lively Athens to the olive groves and quiet seaside villages of the Peloponnese, and the whitewashed Cycladic Islands. And what truly makes Greece special is the people. Philoxenia, the Greek spirit of welcoming strangers with genuine warmth, is something you feel everywhere you go.

🇮🇹 Italy 🇮🇹

My love for Italy began as an art history student studying abroad. Visiting Italy for the first time completely captured my heart. Seeing frescoes, Renaissance masterpieces, and historic sites in person that I had only studied was incredibly moving. And of course, the food, wine, history, and wonderful people made me want to return again and again.
"

How did you get involved in travel?

"Growing up, my family lived in several different parts of the country, so I learned early on to appreciate new places. I still remember the excitement of road trips and plane rides as a child—that feeling of landing somewhere new. Studying abroad in college was an amazing experience, and ever since then I’ve loved traveling to other countries and discovering new cultures. That naturally led me to working in the travel world, where I get to help others create those same meaningful experiences."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Sailing in a catamaran in the caldera of Santorini! Swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue water at secluded spots along the island's coast, enjoying a delicious lunch of horiatiki (Greek salad), souvlaki, tzatziki, pasta with shrimp, prepared by the chef on board, and sunbathing on the deck. Having this experience with my extended family was truly magical and something we will never forget!

Overall the Kimkim team performed exceptionally well both in the planning stages as well as communication and support during our trip.
Our hotels were overall excellent. Due to the lateness of the season, some services at hotels were not available. However overall, the hotels met our expectations.
Air reservations were well-arranged and everything went smoothly thought the half-hour time from "wheels down" in Athens connecting with our flight to Zakynthos was a little stressful. In fact, we and our luggage made the flight and we understand that, unless we wanted to lay over a day in Athens, this was our only flight.
One comment, our last night in Athens, we arrived in Athens from Zakynthos in the early evening and had to depart from Athens from our hotel at 4:30 AM. Our hotel was 30-40 minutes from the airport. I would suggest a hotel nearer the airport with this tight layover. The hotel was nice.
We appreciated the pacing of the trip without continuous activities. We were in Europe a month total and it was good to have some down time or simply some time to explore the destinations we stayed on our own. We are experienced travelers.
We loved the activities/tours planned for us. Cape Sounion; Archological Museum, Food tour of Athens; Peloponnese tour, Acropolis, Santorini Village and Wine tours. All our guides were fun and very knowledgeable.
All our transportation connections made it easy to keep our connections stress-free. The ability to Whats App our drivers was especially helpful when connections were late or other complications.
Finally, your Kimkim app worked beautifully and was easy to navigate. The only comment I would add is that, while the app has a link to log in, you cannot actually login. The only way to activate the trip is following the link given us by our arranger. Just a bit confusing. Either let us log in or remove the link.

The Athena Riviera was fabulous. It’s unfortunate that we had to get up at 3 AM and we didn’t arrive there until after 10 and we hadn’t eaten fortunately superb restaurants were 5 to 10 minutes away and we could order in. Perhaps a hotel that wasn’t a 30 minute drive from the airport would be a better choice next time or this would be fine if we had more time to enjoy it. I hear the breakfasts are superb! All in all a wonderful trip.

All the transfers went smoothly except for the pickup at Athens airport the person who was supposed to pick us up canceled last minute and we had to take a taxi but it was reimbursed as well as was the cost of the original driver reimbursed. Like I said the rest of the transfers went smoothly. All the tours that we took were also great, the tour guides spoke English well and were entertaining and engaging and gave a lot of interesting information. I also thought it was great to experience the contrast between the city of Athens and the smaller cities of Heraklion and Chania on Crete. There was a mix-up with the biking tour on Chania, when we got there the bike shop said there were no tours scheduled. However, they did take us on the tour anyway and we ended up getting a private tour instead of a group tour but I'm not sure how the mix-up happened. The tour guide himself was wonderful and the 25 mile bike ride was amazing. We were very sad that the Samaria gorge hike had to be canceled due to thunderstorms and we did not have time to reschedule so that was a major bummer but nothing anyone could do about it. We also really enjoyed the food tour of Chania, our guide was really great and it was nice to meet the other two couples on the tour we all had a great day together. I loved the convenience of Kim Kim taking care of all the accommodations tours and transfers for me and would definitely recommend. Also both Erica and Lea were helpful and easy to contact.

Amazing e-bike tour, the bike itself was very cool, you could paddle without assistance or anywhere from level one to four assistance depending on how steep the hill was. Some of the hills were very steep and would not have been possible without the pedal assist but you still have to pedal the whole time so I still felt like I was riding a bike not a motorcycle or anything but it definitely made the impossible possible with those steep hills. Our guide was fantastic, he always lived in the area and knew everything about the area. He took us to his own personal Olive Grove and taught us a lot about Olive oil production. We really enjoyed touring the Naxos country side on e-assist bikes with Manos Vassilas leading us around and narrating stories about the areas along the way. He took us to the Kouros archaeological site and to an Olive Mill where we learned how olive oil is made and also sampled some. Manos also took a video of us and shared it with us and we enjoyed visiting the family farm and then eating some of the food made at that farm. The view of the Aegean Sea on the way back was beautiful!

We loved Naxos and the Food Tour was great! We met our group and welcoming and friendly guide, Ellana, at 5 pm and then walked all around Naxos Town kicking off our journey with delicious samples of Naxos cheese, lime and fig nibbles, lemon honey bread and a local white wine. We continued into picturesque winding streets up toward the ancient castle to meet our sweet greek grandmother host for an olive oil tasting session, starting with the extra virgin oil, which was also award winning, hot, and spicy in our throats! Sampled many olive oils, some flavored with rosemary, basil and chile peppers drizzled on popcorn. She also served us sweet homemade greek cakes. After buying some olive oil we continued along a complex labyrinth maze (designed to lose pirates) toward the 360 degree sunset view bar, Avaton, through small white and stone walkways with bougainvillea hanging from trellises, and passageways around and through castle walls. Our group wrapped up the tour with a nice dinner at the restaurant, Apostolis, sipping squash soup, and eating greek salad in bread bowls with fluffy whipped goat cheese, Naxos potatoes with kalamata olives and capers, red onion, and cheese, lamb stew with phyllo crust, and zucchini fritters. Such a great way to experience Naxos.

I found the KimKim on a Google search and filled out a painless form which was rapidly followed up with a pleasant phone conversation to get a little more granular on the wants and needs of the trip.
We knew we wanted to go to Greece and spend time in Santorini but felt overwhelmed by the thought of planning a 10-day adventure hopping between islands.
The folks at the Kim Kim were beyond amazing. Everything was put together quickly for our review and we were quite pleased with the agenda. A mix of both scheduled and unscheduled activities, with endless resources, pre-booked transfers, signs up for every activity needed, ferries, planes, and everything in between.
The hotel choices were incredible. We were blown away by the hospitality and care that went into our stays. Everything felt so personalized from start to finish.
The tour guides were incredible, the snorkeling and yacht cruise were amazing.
At one point in the first night we ran into an issue where all the taxi drivers in Athens were on strike and our ride to the airport in the morning was cancelled. Being in a foreign country and learning this news at 9pm before an 8am pickup, we were panicked. I emailed the Kim Kim team and they got right back to me and much to our surprise had already booked a substitute ride service for us before we even realized it was an issue.
No other service is resolving problems in real time like this. 24/7 support and check ins throughout the trip. The app is perfect and available offline to keep everything in order and not lose any of the details.
I’ve told everyone we know about these services and would absolutely do it again and again. 10/10! 5 stars!
It made our honeymoon picture perfect and we enjoyed every minute!
Thank you!

Our trip to Athens, Paros, Antiparos and Naxos exceeded our expectations. Erica was very helpful in planning the trip and the KimKim app worked well in allowing us to seamlessly keep track of our itinerary on the road. Some of the service providers who were particularly friendly and helpful along the way - Nasos Thanasas was our driver to and from the Athens airport, the staff at the Stelia Mare Hotel in Paros, the guides at the Traditional Cooking experience on a Naxos Village Farm and the Naxos Private Wine Experience.

We were not aware of the Cycladic summer winds that are common and did in fact have high winds our first couple of days in Paros. That is the risk you take in traveling to the Cyclades in the summer months and the weather was otherwise ideal. But it may make sense to consider making the trip further into the shoulder seasons on either side of summer.

Renting cars was easy although the driving is a bit challenging with very narrow roads and dodging tour buses on Naxos. In particular, we took a car on the ferry from Paros to Antiparos and very much enjoyed a day on Antiparos exploring the cave there and relaxing on Soros Beach.

We wound up with what was basically a layover day in Athens at the Athens Riviera Hotel on the way out as our flight home the following day was in the early AM. We wish we had taken an earlier flight from Naxos to Athens to have more time in Athens on that day.

In total, we chose several days on Paros and Naxos at Erica's recommendation and do not regret the choice. Other friends had told us Mykonos and Santorini are beautiful but much more crowded. We are not Greece experts by any means and there are many other islands to consider.

We had a wonderful, and stress-free trip thanks to the incredible service of Kim Kim. Knowing all our rides were prearranged made things so easy!
They picked a wonderful location at the Melidron within a couple minutes walk to all the restaurants we could ever want. The choice of Naxos Island was perfect for us, especially after comparing with what we heard of Santorini and Mykonos from other travelers. It is more laid-back, less crowded and everything is more affordable. The location of our place in Athens was great too, and we were able to explore around on our own and find our way back thanks to Google Maps. Our favorite tours were on Naxos. One was with Iliana, walking from village to village, tasting and eating along the way. She was very knowledgeable and great company. We loved the One-on-one style, where we could get to know something about each other.
We also enjoyed our farm visit, I'm sorry not to remember our guides name, I should have written it down. (Stavros, maybe?) He was also very personable and picked a perfect dish for us to prepare. We loved walking around the farm meeting Wilson and his sheep family.
We also got acquainted with some of the staff at the hotel. Julia and Foteini every day at breakfast and evening at the pool bar, and Teo on our last day.
Of course food was the highlight of the trip, and starting every morning with the fabulous breakfast at the Melidron, was what we looked forward to each day.
The beach scene wasn't our style, with side by side umbrella and beach beds that were for rent for a whole day. If we were younger, and had more time, we might have rented a scooter to explore the island on our own to find less crowded beaches. We did take our own masks and fins, so we went for a quick snorkle at the less crowded end, though there wasn't much to see.
We didn't get to do our catamaran trip because of the wind conditions, but having talked to a couple that did it, we weren't all that disappointed. They said the boat ride was bumpy and they didn't see too many fish.
We appreciated the great customer service of Kim Kim; they let everyone know about Dan's birthday, so they brought him a special dessert with a candle at the pool, and they had a cake with a candle at our farm lunch in addition to the dessert we made ourselves. Very sweet!
We've never taken an agent-organized trip before, and it was a treat to have most of the planning done for us!

Hotel Reviews
Melidron Hotel & Suites
Naxos

Perfect for anyone to enjoy Agios Prokopois beach.

Authenticity & Character
The building style of stacked -up white lodgings matched what we saw all around the island. Very clean, and beautiful garden-like grounds.
Location
Very close to all that was happening in the area. Liked the small village feel of being away from the hub bub of Naxos Town.
Staff
Very friendly and helpful. The staff at the pool bar/ breakfast were so engaging,e felt we got to know them a little, especially Joulia and Foteini.
Cleanliness & Comfort
Roomy accommodations, would have liked a set of drawers so we could unpack, but there was plenty of room to spread out or stuff, so it was still convenient. It was well- supplied with whatever we might need in the way of soap, shampoo, etc.

SANDRA, of Greek Travel Tellers, was also passionate & very knowledgeable about the sunset tour of the Acropolis !
