The Inchcolm had a lovely 2 bedroom suite with a sitting area and nice bathroom. The 2nd bedroom lacked a place to sit suitcases and a closet . The hotel had a nice small restaurant, a free continental breakfast and a free laundry . It was historically interesting because it had one spin a physicians office clinic and small hospital. The hotel is located close to the central train station but if one is walking, it can be difficult to get there because it’s a maze of little streets. Overall a charming little hotel.

Location was excellent, but the hotel left a bit to be desired. Clean, but showing some age.

5 stars doesn't even do it justice. A pricy option, but worth the splurge. The grounds, food, and staff are second to none! The resort also provided free transportation all over the island.

We were on the Ocean Free which is a sailboat. It was awesome. Toni did a great job on the guided scuba dive as well. Would certainly repeat!

Highly recommend. We were able to get up close with a koala and feed kangaroos and emu. A really great "behind the scenes" tour led by a zookeeper.

Good option in Perth. - friendly staff and nice rooms. Breakfast was enjoyable.

Unique design but it’s dated. Served it purpose. They know they have a captive audience and treat you as such in the restaurant and bar.

Rustic and nice. Centrally located with easy access to other venues in the immediate area. Bus shuttle was nice to use. Staff friendly.

Oh boy this place needs to be taken off the list - 🐜 ants in the room, waited over 15 minutes for someone to check me into the hotel (no staff present at all), when they want to fine you because steam from bathroom might set off fire alarm - then it’s time to leave this place - fortunately I didn’t have this issue but why put it on the hotel guest?!

This was one of the best excursions on the trip - definitely do!

AAT Kings messed my reservation up but they got it right at the end of the day. Double check with your contact to make sure the operator has you booked for the right day!! Day 1 was nice but Day 2 was more active and enriching.

Sunset over the Indian Ocean, followed by seeing the Pinnacles and then stargazing. Definitely worthy the time and effort.

Great way to get your bearings for walking around the town.

Wow - even with an overcast night it was a great experience with the sunset, dinner, lecture and tour of the Field of Light.

Early morning but worth the experience.

Great location. Easy walk to the docks, opera house, and botanical garden. Very modern design and amentities (controls for lights, shades, etc.) are conveniently located. The rooftop bar is great. Whilefood options in the hotel are a bit limited, there are so many restaurantes just s stones through away, this is not at all a problem.

Incrediblly well-organized. The whole city of Yulara is an integrated resort with lots to do and great food and cultural offerings. The continuous bus service and short tours and activities are a huge bonus.

Great environment, helpful staff, and excellent food. Loved staying right in the rainforest habitat with nature right up to our doorstep.

The StandardX is disappointing. The lobby and restaurant are very hip and stylish-looking, so I guess that is why it is a “boutique” hotel, but there is little interest in comfort. We were warned about the small room, but one *tiny* drawer for 2 people? We had to live out of our suitcases, very inconvenient. No decent-sized bedside table or reading lamp for one side of the bed? Unacceptable. The in-room coffee is a no-good dunkbag, rather than a Nespresso machine or even a decent instant coffee. It was not a comfortable place to spend 3 days.

We stayed here the night before leaving to go home to the USA. Very clean, nice staff, conveniently located to restaurants, Woolworths, and the airport.

Sails in the Desert fit our needs perfectly. We spent two evenings while we saw Uluru Rock. The hotel graciously let us check in early and tours conveniently left from this location. The accommodations were basic but clean.

The Reef House is a beautiful hotel that feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way. Its charming white buildings, lush tropical gardens, and warm terracotta accents create a peaceful, elegant atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The hotel offers an impressive range of amenities, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind, and it's conveniently located within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Unfortunately, our itinerary was packed with tours and excursions, so we weren't able to take full advantage of everything the hotel had to offer. If we return, we would definitely plan to spend more time simply enjoying the property. I would highly recommend The Reef House to anyone looking for a tranquil, beautiful place to stay in Palm Cove.

From the moment you step off the plane, Hamilton Island Beach club treat you like royalty. They collect your baggage for you and bring you to paradise. Iris was amazing! Offering up all the service of Hamilton Beach club. The fact that the shuttle brings you all over the island whenever you want is worth the price of this hotel. Other hotels that you stay at need to rent buggies at $140 a day. Keep this in mind when you choose your hotel. You absolutely need them to get around the island. The breakfast that is included is exquisite! Whether you have it from your patio or from the dining room, it is thoughtfully prepared, and à la carte whatever you wish for. Coffee barista is free all day, which is also delicious. The room has a lovely porch with wallabies outside your door each morning. The Aesop toiletries are lovely as well as the Nespresso coffee machine in the room. The beach is lovely, but if you wish to swim in the water, it is a challenge here. The tides are so aggressive that swimming here is an extensive walk over rocks and sand. At high tide, it is lovely, but that seems to be a minimal amount of time per day here. The walk to hidden Beach is lovely. I suggest you look at the title schedule and make sure that you go during high tide. They call the walk moderate but there is quite a steep hill at the so be prepared for that. Hamilton Island is a unique place in that. All the restaurants and shops are all part of the same system. Wi-Fi works throughout the island and you can charge anything to your room anywhere. If you were looking for a beach vacation, this might not be the place, but I would not hesitate to stay here again for all other amazing amenities!

This hotel is completely fun and high quality! The bed is comfy, bathroom products nice, conveniently located but quiet, and friendly staff. We would totally recommend!

The opportunity to see Uluru up close was truly unforgettable. Walking around the base of the rock gave us a real appreciation for its immense size and beauty, and watching it glow with changing colors at sunset was one of the highlights of our visit. The tour itself was a bit different from what I had expected. I was hoping to learn more about the geology and science behind Uluru, but the focus was almost entirely on Aboriginal culture and storytelling. While I understand and appreciate the cultural significance of the site, I would have enjoyed a more balanced presentation that included both the cultural and natural history of the rock. Our guide was knowledgeable, but we didn't feel particularly engaged by the presentation. It's possible we simply didn't connect with this guide, as others may have a different experience. Overall, I'm glad we took the tour because it gave us the chance to walk around Uluru and experience the spectacular sunset. However, if your primary interest is seeing the rock itself rather than a guided cultural experience, you may find that exploring the base on your own within the national park provides a similarly rewarding experience.

The sunset camel ride around Uluru was a memorable way to experience the area from a different perspective. Riding through the desert as the sun began to set offered beautiful views, and it was interesting to see Uluru change colors throughout the evening. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, sharing information about the camels and the surrounding landscape along the way. The camels were gentle, well-behaved, and fun to ride, making it easy to enjoy being so close to them. At the end of the tour, we were served wine and light nibbles while watching the sunset. It was a nice way to relax after the ride and take in the scenery before heading back. Overall, this was an enjoyable experience and a good addition to our time at Uluru, especially for anyone looking to experience the landscape in a unique way.

Will was an excellent guide! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the crocs on the river. The night tour was a cool experience , but we didn’t see much wildlife. The highlight of the trip was seeing a cassowary walk by us, close enough to touch. Will’s overall expertise on the walk made us see everything we possibly could. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this tour!!

We had a snorkeling excursion from Cairns aboard a comfortable catamaran, and although the weather didn't cooperate, it was still a worthwhile experience. Unfortunately, it was a very windy day, so for safety reasons we were only able to visit one snorkeling site, and the seas were quite rough. What really stood out was the incredible crew. They were attentive, professional, and constantly checking on everyone to make sure we felt safe and comfortable in the challenging conditions. Their calm, friendly attitude made a big difference throughout the day. Even with the rough seas, the Great Barrier Reef was absolutely beautiful and an unforgettable place to snorkel. We'd love to come back another time when the weather is calmer to experience even more of the reef. Lunch on board was delicious, and the warm meal was especially appreciated after spending time in the cool, windy water. We also appreciated how organized the transportation was. At the end of the trip, the staff personally helped us locate our shuttle back to our hotel, making the return trip smooth and stress-free. While the weather limited our experience, the outstanding service and the beauty of the reef made this an excursion we would still recommend.

Fun boat ride out to amazing snorkeling. The variety of coral and fish were breathtaking. Whitehaven Beach has the most beautiful, soft and fine sand I have ever seen in my life. It was so soft that it squeaked when you walked on it. Water was beautiful turquoise blue. Walk up to the outlook was longer than expected. Would have preferred to stay longer on the beach. Boat staff were lovely. Don’t visit Hamilton Island without going to this beach.

Rob was a perfect guide! Personable and knowledgeable about the area and a definite part of a great day. Absolutely amazing experience feeding the wallabies and kangaroos. And petting the koala as a private part of the tour before the zoo opened was ideal. The waterfall was an easy hike and the wine tasting lovely to end the tour.

The rooms were small, but it was great. I slept great every night. The bed and pillows are amazing. I wish they had more food options, but what they had was delicious. My uber had an issue with the drop off and pickup location because it says no stopping on the street, but that’s really the biggest issue I had.

DO THIS! 100% recommend this to everyone. David is amazing. The tour was fun and learning all the history was fun. Great food too!

We were very skeptical of the Villas prior to going. Kangaroo Island advertises high end resorts and this seemed very "basic." We needed , however, to stay in an apartment style hotel not an all-inclusive resort. Samantha assured us we would be satisfied with Villas on the Bay. She was right! Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! It was a good amount of space, supplied well, and the managers were fantastic and very helpful. It was easy to just walk into Kingscote at night for dinner. There is a trail along the water right across the street, and the pier to walk out on is a short walk away.

Wonderful way to start our Uluru experience (we arrived that afternoon). Although peak season at Uluru, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Really beautiful experience. The sparkling wine and canapes were a nice touch as we watched the sun set and the field begin to light up.

Finders Chase tour w/ Exceptional Kangaroo Island – wonderful! Our guide, Shauna, was the best! Loooong day in the van but you hit incredibly gorgeous locations on the island. Shauna was knowledgeable and interesting, other guests delightful, and had a wonderful day! Highly recommend.

Barossa tour with Small Batch Wines. Fabulous! Matt our tour guide was amazing. The vineyards we went to were a good variety – one small and one large. Lunch was at a 3rd vineyard. Lunch was extremely delicious! We were the only guests that day so it became a private tour. Highly recommend Small Batch Wines.

The rooms were super nice. We had our best night’s sleep there. Wonderful to have the washer and dryer there because everything was dirty by the end of our trip.

We had a nice large room and a smaller adjoining one. This hotel is not luxurious but it had its charm. The cockatoos visited us faithfully and the kids were delighted by them. There was really only one restaurant that was kid friendly, but we also enjoyed the pizza place. Everything costs extra. Very little is included other than your room. We enjoyed the buggies for one day but didn’t find it necessary for the more than a day. There’s a grocery store down by the wharf which was nice.

We loved this hotel. They give you a chocolate chip cookie when you check in. I especially liked the bathroom. It had a very nice shelf that allowed you to have all your toiletries handy. The food was okay, but not great. I wouldn’t advise eating dinner there, but breakfast was fine. It was not in a great location for getting fast food. Not much nearby.

The staff was so accommodating. The apartment was very nice. It lacked any basic food ingredients though. Not even salt was provided, so bring everything you need for using the kitchen. The ultramodern stove was difficult for me also. It was in a great location. Lots of shopping close by. The pool was great.

The Full Day Desert Safari Day Cruise was a bit misleading as it wasn't quite a 'safari'. It mainly involved bus rides, but was still enjoyable. My grandson particularly loved sliding down the sand hills, which made it a memorable experience. Transportation back was a bit tricky as it was hard to secure an Uber. Renting a car might have been a better choice for this tour.

We had the best guide ever. Rosie was very friendly and great with the kids. They loved the mushroom experience at the National Park. We had a wonderful lunch at a local cafe and Rosie had us singing the Kookaburra song and we kept singing it for the entire rest of our trip. The kids loved Bonorong so much and Rosie knew all of the information that the guides there had to offer. The kids even got to pet a wombat! It was great.

The hotel itself was clean and the restaurant on sight was good. We didn't see anyone from the hotel during our stay. It is a quiet hotel, so that can be a good thing. I will say though if you are in the market for good amenities and service, this one might not be for you. It is a bit of a drive to Cairnes as well. Again, makes for a more quiet stay but if you are looking for more action, you might want to be closer to the city.

Super helpful staff and lovely hotel that allowed for a quick walk to the trains, but felt like being in a true neighborhood.

This ended up being a personalized experience with just our family. Our guide did a great job of leaning in to our 14 year old's interest in art. Such a cool feature of Melbourne.

Ocean Free is a collection of folks who truly know and love the reef. We had a great day on a small sailboat. The staff was top notch. Great experience!

This lodge was absolutely awesome! We were so spoiled and pampered. The guides were so passionate about Uluru and the culture. We saw and learned so much that it made us feel like we understood a little bit about the history of Australia.

Our guides were so passionate about their island! They both grew up on Kangaroo Island and knew a lot of insider information that we would never have found out alone. They took us to lots of places where koalas, wallabies and kangaroos lived in their natural habitat. We also heard lots of interesting stories about the island.

Our stay at the Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane was overall satisfactory once we settled in. However, the early arrival experience was less than ideal as they were quite strict about the check-in time, not allowing any possibility of early access. The room itself was great, with everyone having a comfortable bed, but the initial waiting after a long flight was a bit of a letdown.

The Sebel Quay West Suites in Sydney was exceptional! The view was just stunning, and from a quality perspective, it was probably the best. We felt really treated well, and the spaciousness and luxury of the room made our stay very comfortable.

The Reef View Hotel was the highlight of our stay! The presidential suite was just lovely and exceptionally spacious. Even though the furniture appeared slightly dated, it was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed having so much space and the private amenities, like the golf cart with a reserved parking spot, made our stay even more special. Definitely the best hotel experience of the trip.

The Featherdale Keeper Tour was an unexpectedly amazing experience! Getting behind-the-scenes access and being personally guided by a zookeeper made this visit unique and special. Interacting with animals up-close in the koala and reptile enclosures was an unforgettable highlight.
