Ashvin Dev Tyagi

I am an Indian and I consider myself a "Gallivanter" because exploring new places provides me with pleasure. Having born in India and being a part of the travel industry, I believe this combination is best for me because there are so many travelers out there willing to know about this Mystical land and wanting to explore it. I love the fact that I am capable enough to share my travel experiences and knowledge about India and being able to encourage them to visit & experience India, as it is for a local. The conversations with the travelers are always mindful and in some way or the other, it offers me an opportunity to become a Travel Ambassador for India

I believe the motivation behind Travel is associated with structuring new social connections, chances to learn and develop. It allows us to be truly occupied with action, to grow new abilities, and to find new societies. It conveys us closer to ourselves as well as other people.

You ask me the best ways to travel in India and I will provide you with a ton of options to have a lifetime journey. For me, India is not just a destination but an experience, an emotion that is different for each individual. You actually live in India while you travel through it.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"The Himalayas, North and North-East India, South India, Central India with Malwa and Gujrat.

"Mindful and Wellness tours, Cultural and Immersive Tours, Offbeat itineraries, Tailor Made Tours, Tribal, Wildlife and Adventure Tours.""

How did you get involved in travel?

"The credit goes to my parents who both are big travel enthusiasts. My favorite travel partner is my Dad because we both share the same love for the Himalayas and we often explore the Himalayas to find places we can peacefully practice meditation. I am a native of Uttar Pradesh which is basically a major agricultural state in India but fortunately, I have never ever experienced farming. In 2017, I completed my master's in Tourism Marketing and joined this dynamic industry. I am happiest when I am designing tours for my guests travelling to India and offering more authentic ways to discover India.

I possess a strong love for India and enjoy passing on this passion to the travelers in an exciting and educational manner which leaves them with a lasting memory of India."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I have many to share but the best memories are with my Dad, so I will share one out of them all.

This was back in 2012 when I was fresh out of school and I had a month free before my college was going to start. We both planned to explore the Himalayas and practice Meditation. We pinned downed on Chitkul - the last village before the Indo - China border. We had only read about this place is very virgin, really secluded, less touristic and plus there was an Army Camp, so we could arrange a meditation for the soldiers as well.

After a back-breaking drive of 14 hours from Delhi, we were finally at the cusp of Sangla Valley. After few steep turns, the beauty of the valley started to surprise us with its vastness, we were left amazed by it and were just gazing at the delightful surroundings. We got ourselves a locals house, it was an old wooden hut, even in summers this place gets really cold. We intially planned to spend 3 - 4 days, but the peace and tranquillity forced us to stay back for 11 days. Meditation and Nature become our Eutopia, as we were deeply affected by the beauty of this valley. Our daily routine was to wake up, do meditation, go out on hikes by the river or up in the mountains, took along the village kids, and then return by afternoon. Every day concluded on a very peaceful note after having that final meditation session followed by dinner and falling asleep. "
