Aubrey Reine

I grew up in Western Canada with the Rocky Mountains and Canadian prairies as my playground. After fifteen years working across the tourism industry—from guiding hiking and paddling tours in the Rockies and British Columbia, to wholesale tour operations, to bespoke high-end travel. Traveling and living abroad for a number of years taught me what genuine connection to a place actually feels like. It's made me acutely aware of what's authentic versus performative in travel. I'm passionate about slowing down, embedding travellers within communities rather than observing them from the outside, and creating space for families to connect across generations.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Canada, bespoke and tailor-made travel, slow and immersive experiences, lesser-known destinations, multigenerational family trips."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I stumbled into it practically—I needed a summer job at university where I could speak German, which led me to work in tourism. But it was a transformative guiding trip through the Chilcotin Plateau and Northern Vancouver Island that crystallized my passion for showcasing the incredible landscapes and communities of Western Canada."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

" A multi-week guiding loop from Calgary through the Rocky Mountains, across the remote Chilcotin Plateau, down through the Bella Coola Valley, via ferry to Northern Vancouver Island, and finishing in Vancouver. Staying at ranches and fly-fishing lodges, surrounded by frontier wilderness, wildlife, and mountains, I realized just how special our region is and knew I wanted to help others experience it authentically."
