I am a wellness blogger and entrepreneur. Wellness is my “Ikigai”, where my passion, skills and career potential coincide. Travel by itself is life-enriching and helps open your mind to possibilities. There are multiple ways to make it work for you and one of the ways is immersing yourself in a spiritual and rejuvenation experience, focused on helping you get in touch with your inner self.
I also I truly believe each of us has the power to impact change around us. Every year, I like to take up a cause close to my heart in India, it is also a way for me to give back to the community.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I have a passion for wellness. I love to craft bespoke wellness programs tailored to the personality, life stage and specific requirements of an individual. So whether you look to rejuvenate in the lofty Himalayas or want to soak in the spiritual experience by the holy Ganges or simply want to de-stress with Ayurveda therapies and a yoga immersion experience, I can help plan any of them. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"11 years ago I married a man smitten by wanderlust. Together we have done many unique trips together in India and USA, always focusing on an authentic local experience. We consider ourselves travelers, not tourists. Travel gives me the opportunity to combine two things that I am passionate about – travel and wellness."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I feel that we are a sum total of the experiences we have had. I am fortunate to have experienced some unique places and cultures, pieces of which remain forever etched in my memory. Top of my mind is a visit to the mid-west USA (South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado). A 1,500-mile road trip through geysers, bear habitats, multiple National Parks including the Yellowstone National park. Traversing many starkly contrasting landscapes and being able to witness nature in its glory made it a very memorable road trip."
