Hans Solmssen
I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii in the middle of what was once the biggest privately owned cattle ranch in the US. Horses were my life and growing up surrounded by wild nature gave me a love for the outdoors. I moved to Switzerland to follow my passion for skiing. Years after become a certified mountain guide, I was pulled back to the sea and obtained my skipper's licence. This allowed me to continue "guiding" clients over the oceans as well as the mountains. Croatia became my prefered sailing grounds.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Sailing amongst the islands of Croatia and skiing and climbing in the Alps, Greenland and Antarctica."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Growing up on a tiny island in the middle of the pacific gives one the urge to travel!"
