Julia Boszormenyi
I am a marketing professional, Yoga instructor and travel lover. Pretty much I've always been traveling - for studies and for work and for fun. I've lived in Athens, Greece for 7 years now. I came here with my work (as a marketing professional) and loved the place, because of the sea, so I stayed. I am originally from Hungary, but I originally left to live in Poland for a few years, before moving to Greece. I studied yoga in India, where I received the 500 Hrs registered yoga instructor certificate and got to explore some of that magical country as well.
I love to travel for a few reasons. First you never get bored on a trip. You are a traveler, tourist, backpacker, etc and even the most basic thing on a trip becomes an adventure - like catching a bus between cities. Second, you realize how much there is to see and you keep appreciating the beauty or intrigue of new lands and cultures!
I lived and breathed through sports movement since childhood. I'm always active and aim to organize active and interesting trips. I love the sea- I call myself a mermaid yogini.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Athens, Greece- South Suburbs (by the sea).
Islands around Attika.
Budapest, Hungary. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"My travel adventures started when I was 17. I had the opportunity to go for an exchange student program in Canada (Vancouver). I stayed there for almost a year. I went back to Hungary to finish my studies in high school, then I went for some months to the UK because I so much wanted to keep traveling.
I keep exploring Greece and connecting to new places and adventures with our company - so I can send more and more interesting ideas to our travelers.
I also keep traveling to other countries (for work and for fun)!"
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"My India travel. The people, the ambiance. The unique culture and the simplicity are a few of the things I love about this country. I was there only once, but I plan to go back in the near future. I think India is my 2nd favorite place on Earth- after Greece."
