Krysten Bray

A Canadian raised in South Carolina, Krysten studied Linguistics at the University of Chicago before joining the Peace Corps. She spent two years in a rural Moroccan village as a Youth Development volunteer, working in girls’ empowerment, developing the business of a women’s embroidery cooperative, and doing an inordinate amount of arts and crafts. Now on the Experience Morocco sales team, Krysten loves sharing her adopted country with clients and is thoroughly enjoying having access to Netflix and cheese again.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"We at Experience Morocco pride ourselves on having a deep knowledge of the whole of Morocco. I specialize in creating bespoke itineraries that give guests unique and authentic experiences of Moroccan culture, history, and daily life. Whether you are looking to visit a specific city or learn about a specific part of Moroccan culture, I can tailor an itinerary to match your interests and passions"

How did you get involved in travel?

"After finishing my two years of Peace Corps service, I wasn't ready to leave Morocco quite yet. So, I joined Experience Morocco to both share my passion for Morocco and it's culture with the rest of the world while giving back to my adopted country for it's amazing hospitality. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"My favorite experiences are always off-the-beaten track. With Experience Morocco, I recently discovered a little known village of artisans right outside of Marrakech. From pottery, to leather, to textiles, to tilework, every kind of product in the souks of Marrakech could be made in this one little town. It was an incredible experience to meet the rural artisans, tour their workshops, and get up close to their intricate crafts. "
