Nikos Theodoris
Ι am a 32 years old Athenian, in love with my place of birth. I have studied Economics and also hold an MBA degree, something that really helped me to join the travel & tourism sector as an entrepreneur. As a traveler, I’ve visited many places and always wanted to explore each one like a local.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We spread across Athens, Santorini, Crete, Corfu, Paros, Sounio, Nafplion, Naxos, Delphi, Meteora, Ancient Corinth, Nemea, Mycenae, Olympia, Chios, Mykonos, offering local experiences, guided sightseeing, culinary and nightlife tours, family-oriented activities, sailing adventures, and even team-building activities for corporations."
How did you get involved in travel?
"During my very first trip to London with my family when I was a kid, I decided that traveling was what I love most in life, something that holds true to this day. The exhilarating feeling of the plane taking off, the fascinating adventure of getting to know a new country, its customs, and culture, and the challenge of communicating with the locals despite the language barrier was, and still is, the best thing I had ever experience. Later, I became the one organizing annual trips abroad with my group of friends and deciding the places to stay, visit, see and experience, thrilled me so, that I decided that it was what I wanted to do for a living. Since then, I have stayed true to my goals making traveling -and organizing other people’s travels- my mission. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"On a road trip to the south of France, about 7 years ago, I got a flat tire outside a stranded village in the middle of nowhere, with no signal, no way to fix the tire and no hope. It was a picture taken out of a movie. In an effort to find help, I wandered around the scenic village only to find a kind old man on the porch of his house. He was so old that he couldn’t physically help, but he invited me and my girlfriend in for a meal. His wife had made the most mouthwatering homemade meal I had ever tasted, and being Greek that says a lot! We ended up spending the night in their spare bedroom with a stomach fool of delicious food and local wine. We left the next day with a basket fool of goodies from their farm. I still can't believe my luck, and this sweet old couple will forever be in my heart."
