Hola! My name is Patricia—though my close friends and family call me “Pati.” I’m originally from Madrid, Spain, where I was born and raised. I studied abroad in England when I was young and did my exchange in New York.
Travel has always been a big part of my life. I’m especially passionate about experiencing destinations like a local—learning about traditions, languages, and what everyday life looks like in different places. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to travel throughout the Americas and across most of Europe.
Currently, I manage Spain and Portugal at kimkim, and it has been an incredible journey of discovery. I’ve been learning so much about a country I previously knew little about but that completely amazed me—its people, its hilly streets, its nature, its wines. That country is Portugal.
At the same time, I’ve been rediscovering the country where I grew up: Spain. We often think of travel as going somewhere far away and different, but working on building Spain as a destination for kimkim and for our travelers has made me realize just how much my own country has to offer. From the diverse gastronomy across its regions to the beautiful beaches and dramatic mountains, from its culture and people to its incredible history and art—Spain is truly special.
Being able to share all of this with our travelers makes the experience even more meaningful.
