From my childhood days, I have had a real passion for traveling and was privileged to have travelled to many areas in Sri Lanka with my family. I’m sure you would love to get the same experience as I have; some of which are life-changing experiences.
This country has such a great variety of pristine rainforests, highlands, grasslands, tea plantations, virgin jungles, mangrove swamps, white sandy beaches and many internationally recognised National Parks. This is alongside several cultural and heritage sites that go back 1000s of years and I am passionate about making the right mix and match for my guests.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I am more focused on creating travel designs that come with genuine experiences and unique people encounters, rather than typical cultural and popular travel programmes."
How did you get involved in travel?
"After my graduation with a Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management degree from a prestigious Sri Lankan University, I joined the tourism field as a Travel Experience Designer. Armed with a good operational knowledge that I gained during the initial period of my career with many years of Travel Experience Curation, I consider it as an absolute pleasure to be able to create a tour plan combining our core values; experiences, encounters and accommodation spaces that possess character and are based on sustainability."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I was living in a small village from birth, near the Kanneliya Rain Forest - until I migrated to the city for university education. Hence nature is always very close to my heart. I consider my travels to many National Parks as special but Wilpattu holds a unique place for me. "
