Born in Florida and living in Athens Greece, I studied tourism management at the University of Kurt Bosh in Sion. While traveling and meeting new people, I realize how little I know about life. Therefore, I am always fascinated by new stories and adventures. Being an outdoor activity enthusiast, I found that Trekking Hellas fulfilled my interests by sharing with the world the hidden treasures of nature that Greece has to offer.
If anyone finds themselves in our "neck of the woods", do get in touch, we love to show everyone the magic Greece has to offer!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Trekking Hellas as a company specializes in a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, snow hiking, cycling, rock climbing, caving, canyoning, sea kayaking, stand up paddle board, river rafting, rappel, skiing, sailing.
Personally, whatever involves a board on water and snow attracts me."
How did you get involved in travel?
"My father is a retired naval officer on Cruise ships and every summer I used to join him on board. This put me in contact with a variety of cultures at a very young age and intrigued me. "
Featured trips & expertise
History buffs who prefer to be outdoors can experience the ancient world on this tour of mainland Greece's top classical sites. From Mycenae to Meteora, you'll visit ruins spanning back across the ages: sample the descendants of millennia-old grapevines in Nemea, see where the tale of the Iliad started at Mycenae, and tread on the same ground as the first Olympic athletes. End the trip hiking around Delphi and Meteora's six active clifftop monasteries, surrounded by Mediterranean landscape.
This active island-hopping itinerary visits two gems in the Aegean Sea—both world-famous for different reasons. You'll start in Crete, largest of the Greek islands and home of ancient Minoan palaces and striking landscapes like canyons, gorges, mountains, and beautiful beaches. You'll then ferry over to the smaller volcanic island of Santorini and have three days to explore its whitewashed cliff-side villages with hiking, swimming, sea kayaking, and, of course, romantic sunsets.
