Angie Senon

After living abroad for several years, I try a new experience by living in Mexico. I moved to Playa del Carmen in June 2021 and worked in a tour agency where I was able to discover all the Yucatan Peninsula. I realized that I missed Mexico after moving home to France for a short time, and I was lucky enough to find exactly the right job for me with Mexikoo! Now, I am based in Mexico City and I hope to share my passion for Mexico with you during your stay with us.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I am specialized in several regions of Mexico, Quintana Roo, Baja California, Mexico City, Oaxaca, Chiapas and would be delighted to help you create the perfect trip for you. I can recommend you what kind of food to eat, which archaeological sites to visit, the best times to do it, the unusual places, the good restaurants or the best cenotes.
I will be happy to share with you any tips that may be useful during your stay."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I am fortunate to have traveled with my parents as a child. During my studies I lived abroad several times. And since the beginning of my professional career I have lived in several countries before choosing my favorite one and being able to make it my job and my passion here in Mexico. I think with time the desire to discover the world and to open myself to other cultures until I found one that made me feel most at home—Mexico!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"The first time I went to Holbox Island, I booked a tour to see the bioluminescence. A natural phenomenon where the sea lights up. That day it was a moonless night, no clouds, the weather was perfect. I arrived on this beach and everything was black, forbidden to use artificial light, you followed the guide. And then the show began. You had to touch the water to see it sparkle. But the most beautiful was the sky, darkblue, full of stars. One of my most beautiful memories. "
