My name is Benedetta Grande and I am the Senior Travel Designer of TAOLS – Luxury Travel, a travel company based in Florence, Italy, which creates Italian experiences completely tailored to our clients’ needs and wishes. Our purpose is to plan luxury tours, private transportation, and unique activities in Tuscany, Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Amalfi Coast and Apulia and cities such as Florence, Rome, Naples, Milan, and Venice, with a constant focus on details.

How did you get involved in travel?
"Raised in Florence, I hold a diploma in science and linguistics and am fluent in Italian and English. Before joining TAOLS, I became a licensed tour guide in Florence. I like revealing the city’s beauty, telling its legends. I’m enthusiastic and dynamic, and enjoy new places, cooking styles, experiences… and sharing those with our guests. Thanks to my Sicilian roots, I’ve developed a love of good Italian food, sharing a long meal with my family and relatives and soaking up the beauty in every little thing. I adore the beach; basking in the warm sun and listening to the waves."

"Probably my most memorable travel experience, strangely, was right at home. I took a hot air balloon ride over the rolling hills of Chianti, in Tuscany. I drink its worldwide famous wine, but I had never had a chance before to “taste” the air that stands above the vineyards from which the wine is made of. Suffice to say it was utterly breathtaking."
