People travel for all sorts of reasons and to achieve all sorts of things. Whether simply seeking a nice hotel on the beach to escape the office or to experience and interact with new cultures while exploring unique and diverse environments. My passion is in helping travellers that are looking to go beyond the usual tourist fare, and use my local expertise to deliver journeys that offer a much deeper, immersive experience of a destination.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos as well as multi-country tours across Southeast Asia. Our expertise is in active, cultural encounters. These typically involve some form of hiking, trekking, cycling and/or water sports alongside plenty of ethically-focussed interaction with the local communities. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I've always been an avid traveler having done many journeys while I was young. I had climbed some of the UK's highest peaks before I even turned 7! My first extensive travels were when I left for an around the world journey back in 2006. After living and working in various countries around the world - and completing my Masters degree at university - I returned to settle down in Thailand where I have been living and working in the travel industry ever since."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Walking 1000km to raise money for Cancer Research UK in Spain. I embarked on the Camino Frances, one of the most common routes of the Camino de Santiago. Departing from St Jean Pied du Port in June 2012, I spent 35 days hiking across the wilderness and through the towns of northern Spain. Along the way meeting people of all ages and from all walks of life out to complete their own journey along the Camino. Definitely one of the most unforgettable trips that I've done."
