Originally from Germany but I decided to follow my dream to work, live and travel in Japan. Now I live in Kyoto and love to show others the lesser known, but stunning parts of Japan, off the beaten track. By foot or bicycle I have travelled across Japan to find remote but lovely places and to meet interesting people along the way.

"I specialize in remote places across Japan, such as the Kumano Kodo or Nakasendo trail in Japan and I focus on hiking or cycling trips."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Through my hobbies sketching and photography I began travelling through Japan to find unique and remote places. So I decided to make it my profession to show others these parts of the country."

"I climbed Mount Horai in Shiga prefecture without any big expectations, but on the top I was absolutely stunned by the amazing view over lake Biwa and the whole Shiga prefecture."
