My name is Philippos and I was born and raised in Athens, Greece.
I fell in love with travel through my fascination for history and geography.
From a young age I started collecting currency from around the world and was fascinated by the landscapes and people depicted on the banknotes.
This hobby is what jump started my passion for travel.After some successful travel expeditions in Asia and Africa, I decided that I would like to dedicate my life working in the travel industry.

How did you get involved in travel?
"After travelling to 45 countries and realizing that I want to make a career out of it, I went to university.
I got my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism management from the Cardiff Metropolitan University and have worked in various hotels around the world for several years. "

"When I was in Laos, I volunteered to teach English to a group of Buddhist monks. In the end I would stay with them in their temple, learn their religion, their everyday activities and what it takes to be a monk. It was one of the most fulfilling trips of my life."
